But first, they take on the ancient liche who stole Talia's powers. Lazarus is living near Winter Hall Magical Academy, located near Mt. Rainier. Over the centuries, he's grown so strong that it seems futile to take him on. But with Lazarus stalking the students, stealing not only their magical powers but their lives, the Wild Hunt can't allow him to roam free. Before they can confront him, Talia takes it on herself to reconnoiter the situation and ends up trapped in a maniacal web that easily spell her death. Yes, I pulled an all night 🌙 reading session!

The Wild Hunt series is truly magical... From the characters whom are so deep, to the incredibly well rounded plots ~ it's a huge out of this world adventure! I Loved The Eternal Return for so many reasons ~ namely Herne, Ember, Angel, Yutani, Viktor, Talia, Raven Kipa, Raj , and Mr. Rumblebutt. This group of friends and co-workers has a rapport. Life is about love and friendship, and Ms.Galenorn proves it with her twisty plots. Thank you,Ms. Galenorn, for creating yet another book that truly consumed me from page one. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go curl up in a ball for a while because this book is out of pages, much to my dismay.

Another great addition to the series

This is the end of one phase of the series and the beginning of what is to come. This book was a great closing to what has happened up to this point. We got some closure for some of the characters, which sounds like they will need it for when the dragon wakes up! I loved how true Angel is to herself when it comes to her relationship. It is always hard to set your boundries and to not let others push them, even those you love. Ember and the rest of the gang also grew a little but not as much. I cant wait to see what happens as we enter the next phase of the books!

Another immersive trip into this world...

Wow. This world keeps growing in size and complexity with every book. I love it. I enjoyed watching the crew talking to and rescuing young people and I'd love to see the young adults we met in this book show up again. There's a lot of untapped potential for Ember and her coworkers and friends to become a refuge for some of the folks they encounter - chosen family, support system, and maybe employment all in one. This book felt a little creepier to me. Ember takes a trip onto the astral realm to rescue a young man’s soul, and the whole crew is working to bring down an ancient and particularly vindictive supernatural creature. A really engrossing read.

This series just keeps getting better and better

A must read though I do strongly advise starting at the beginning of the series so you have a full understanding of Ember and the Wild Hunt. Ember is growing into herself and as a person as she starts to understand what her heritage means all while trying to find and destroy a liche. I love the battle scene at the end, as good as the Mabel battle scenes. Raven is in it too though she doesn't have as big a role but it's still an important role. Sometimes we need our friends to point out the obvious.

Fantastic

Yasmine Galenorn further cements herself as one of my favorite authors with each book she writes. I didn’t do an all night read as I sometimes do. I savored it in small doses over maybe a week or two. I’m glad I did, because now I don’t have too long to wait before another Yasmine Galenorn book releases! If you like suspense, action, mystery and magic, with a kick ass female protagonist and whole slew of supporting characters, you’ll love this series. I know I do.

I loved this book!

I have enjoyed watching Ember and Angel, both, grow. The story was riveting, as usual. It is so endearing to see the "human" side of Herne. How he is possessive of Ember. I would enjoy seeing Ember use a bit more of her emerging powers and fighting abilities. The descriptions of surroundings take over just a little, for me. I would enjoy more by play with the characters, or some type of action. It doesn't have to be life or death every time! But, I still loved the book. I am already looking forward to more. Ms. Galenorn, you rock!!!

So much happening.....

This book was full of ups and downs. It was interesting to see more of the culture of the magic-born and to see that even those who've been alive for centuries can make mistakes. But friends and family are always there to pull you through.

Engaging, impossible to put down.

As a long-time fan of Ms Galenorn, I feel 5 stars just aren't enough for this gorgeous world she has painstakingly crafted. Ember's journey is getting more interesting with every book, and I'm incredibly excited to see what comes next.

I can't get enough

This latest installment in the series is a wonderful roller coaster ride. It's a fun, action-packed story about some butt kicking supernatural beings saving the world one bad guy at a time.

Great Ending

I loved this book. It was a wonderful end to the first story arc with characters coming into their power and making new alliances. This book was an action packed yet heartfelt firework of a closing story, and I'm so excited to see what comes next for the Wild Hunt crew!

Couldn't put it down

Not surprisingly I love this book. It has been so nice to see a positive change in Yutani. A problem from Talia's past is finally taken care of and I can't wait to see how things change when Typhon shows himself.

Hands down, favorite one to date

This one kept me on edge, brought me new friends, and made my heart ache as well. Ember is evolving in every story, and now we are getting a little further with every other characters stories as well. I can't wait for more!

Outstanding series

Outstanding series. Great action that keeps you coming back for more. Yasmines books are such a delight to read and she gets them out quickly.

Exciting read

Ms. Galenorn can certainly spin a tale. She has left us on the edge of our seats, eagerly awaiting what the heck is coming when Typhon comes out to play! I, for one, can't wait.

Wonderful

I have been reading Yasmine for many years and her worlds capture and hold me I truly appreciate it. Thank you looking forward to the next in the series.

Yasmine has done it again

Grey drawn into the world of the Wild Hunt and go with them on an adventure to save their friend Taila and others of the magic born from the liche that took her powers.

Love

Love the characters and the storyline. The consistency through the books keeps me coming back.

Highly recommend

I'm loving this series. Yasmine has a real talent. Always a great adventure you don't want to end.

Yasmine always delivers!

Another exciting adventure for Ember, Herne and the gang. Once this world of the Wild Hunt takes over, you won't be able to put it down. I can't wait for the next two books to come out. I love living life along side Ember and Raven. So much magic to learn and absorb. I absolutely love this series, as I have her Otherworld series. Just amazing!

The best by the best

This was, by far, the best books by Yasmine that I have read yet. I cant wait to dive into the next book in the series.
