Great book

Really like the fast facts in this book. Easy to navigate too!

Helpful for new provider

Super helpful quick reference. I am a newer provider without a lot of experience with children.

An exceptional resource recommended by my colleagues!

Great for a quick reference.

Not worth it

Only good for someone in training or new to prescribing. Anyone with experience, this book is too simple.

Not the right book

incredibly useful clinical resource

As a child psychiatrist and supervisor/teacher of psychiatric and nurse practitioner trainees, I found this book to be immensely helpful. The fact sheets about each medication are laid out clearly with key points easily accessible and well articulated. My favorite part though is the tables comparing different medications for the same conditions. I often reference these with my students who are learning how to choose which medication is appropriate for which patients, how to understand differential response and different side effects, etc. I also reference it when patients come in on new medications that were not around when I was in training, that I'm less familiar with! Overall this is an incredibly useful clinical resource for any prescribers in child psychiatry.

Excellent book!

Perfect for your office use or as student! It gets to the point!!
