Such a great reference...
So, the book came in good condition. Smaller than a common book, but not necessarily able to fit in standard pockets. Roughly 495 pages of content (excluding index, etc...). I don't have trouble reading the text, but if you generally need larger print text, this may or may not be an issue. It is comprehensive (would be helpful for inpatient and outpatient settings) and has helpful tables/charts. Keep in mind, this isn't so much a description of how a certain drug class works, but just information on the drugs' use, dosage, warnings, available forms, price range...Of course, refer to guidelines, facility-specific protocols, etc...but this can be helpful in guiding you quickly on medication options to choose from and how to prescribe the one you select.
Nice size, good information.
I had the super tiny lab coat edition prior to this and found I NEVER used it because it was too small and annoying to try and read. I’ve thumbed through this book a bit and it is much easier to use than the itty bitty version. From what I’ve seen so far, the information is accurate. I think I will get more use out of this larger version!
Good
I really like this small version. Easy and straight to the point. Buy the normal version if you need to know everything, the small version just summarized it up. So do keep that in mind.
Excellent product
Great price great for the medical field. Still fits in the lab coat pocket much larger more information in it would definitely buy more of these instead of the pocket ones especially for us he don't see so well
excellent, very helpful book the every physician should own
one of the most valuable and helpful books in medicine, tells you everything you need to prescribe in very smartly condensed form
Love it
Been using this book my entire 20 year career. I get a new one every 3-4 years. A trusted, easy to use, easy to carry reference.
Extremely small print
I've always used Tarascon Pharmacopoeia references. Happy with the reliable and ease of information provided. As a Seasoned Pharmacist very nice to have on those busy days when information is nicely tucked away in the "Black Hole" of my mind. 4-Stars due to print size. 2019 is not available in regular soft bind book size.
A good read
Bought this as a gift for a pharmaceutical student. She is over the moon with the knowledge contained and uses it regularly.
Excellent!
This is an excellent reference. I use it daily. It has been helpful.
This actually fits in your pocket
I'm in medical school now and just now getting into the hospital. This is a great reference especially because I'm just now learning actual DOSING and etc (not just the medication or class of drugs). Small but mighty!

When you need a fast hard-copy
When medication information is needed at work and a computer or smart phone is not handy this reference book has helped a lot.
Book
Nice, helpful handbook. This is my third edition to purchase.
Must have
Great book
Very useful!
Thanks 🙏
Super value for the $
Used it to study for the boards and now I it every day as a practicing pharmacist. I really appreciate the birth control table and dermatologic table to try to find comparable alternatives for pts when something isn’t on formulary.
excellent as expected
Like the thinner size but the words are smaller, therefore harder to read. Wish it comes with a clear book cover. Overall, I rated 5 stars.
Great Resource
Larger volume book than prior version. Excellent resource.
