I can't believe I'm done reading the book Actually! Yet, that is what's great about it. It's a concise yet thorough and soulfully touching guide for strengthening a Woman's Essence. Helping to awaken and bring about self reflection with the core that is You. Thus helping to remove seeming obstacles from your life of magic and greatness. Experiencing a time of transition in my own life I found myself wandering in a vicious cycle. My spirit lead me back to pick up reading this book and this morning I reached for it after my awakening prayer time to contribute to and influence the thought pattern of how I kick off this new year. I found things resonating more and more and before I realized it, I'd completed the book! I see it as a great guide to continue to come back to for strengthening reminders. You will definitely enjoy it and it Will bless your life. If you're feeling to it, it's for a reason. Listen and walk in the direction spirit is guiding you

I loved everything about this book. It was a simple read with a VERY powerful message - Know yourself, honor yourself, & love yourself. Being able to identify and clean house internally is a must for positive change in one's journey. I definitely recommend this book to others!

This was a phenomenal read. I really lost myself in the midst of my relationship and my kids and ended up becoming depressed. Feeling so low of myself so I came across Fila's book. Short but powerful. I was already changing things in my life the second/last day of reading this book. Now is the time!!!! Love yourself first ladies!!!!

Some may think this is not a book for them but life is a growing process. If you're anything like me you have to read something a few times before it resonates. This book is empowering and full of encouragement. I advice both young and old alike to read this book. It's a short read but well worth it. Enjoy!

Fila is helping me to identify the parts of myself I have always wanted to change and giving me the steps to do so, accept what was, what is, and move into the space I want to be in. It is reassuring to have affirmation of what I already knew and to be connected as women in these ways. Hopefully, more women will read it and we can change the damaging norms, ideas, and behaviors that have defined womanhood.

Very helpful on recognizing your character traits. I would recommend this book to family and friends it has a lot of useful materials to learn how to manage your emotions.

I enjoyed this book. As I journey through life I can recall hiding behind various things to hide pain that was unknowingly present due to past disappointments! Strengthening Her Essence reminded me that I'm human no reason to appear perfect however no reason to appear wounded either! Practice creating the peace, the love, the harmony you desire and greater days are before me.

I would absolutely recommend this book to any grown women and young lady. It is a peice that I consisder to be an essential part of getting you to truly realize a truth within that we as women, often dont want to beleive exist in ourselves. The content is simple, clear and is extremely relatable. I most identified when the author laid out the characters that we take on, hide behind, and mask our true selves from everyone else, (so we think). It was a quick read and made me face myself and unmask my truth. I appreciate the author for sharing this information and putting it in a way to understand and straight to the point. This book has inspired me to recognize my worth and true self.

One of my counselors showed me your book and felt bewildered by the information presented. I’m a LMFT and Certified Trauma Counselor who works with at-risk teens, I help young women, as well as women in their 30s break the cycle of abuse and violence along with building their self-esteem. I read your book-all 66 pages; what qualifies you as a life coach? What is your educational background? Are you licensed and/or certified? What type of Masters degree do you hold? Your thesis doesn’t discuss “how” to encourage or promote sisterhood. What tools, strategies, or methods do you recommend to promote sisterhood? I’m not knocking your hustle nor am I being catty. My counselors use supplemental tools to help our clients. Please enlighten me.

This brief but bold guide to liberation is so essential for any woman willing to do the work to become a better her. Like the author says, "we all have issues" and Strengthening Her Essence encourages you to own your issues and then do something about it. I love the way the author steers clear of clinical jargon and lays it out for you in plain everyday language that anyone can relate to. I highly recommend this book.

Fila, brings a nurturing but heavy handed approach to telling us ladies, how it is, what it is, and what to do with it. We should hear it, own it, and therefore, be able to approach it; to handle it. The breakdown of characters, turns this read, into a workbook, to constantly identify thyself and assess as well. Though this is written to the woman, men; who are partners, fathers, brothers and supportive form, should take a look as well. I will definitely be following her work, I'm interested in her movement.

This book made me laugh and cry. It is short and to the point. It definitely iginited a flame that I have allowed to be snuffed out by the strughles of life. Once I received my book, I held it in my hand for a minute, read the inscription and prepared some tea and before long, I found myself on the pages of this book. Someone was telling my story, watching through my window and feeling what I was feeling. That someone was Fila McMillian-Antwine! It felt as if she were in my living room with me just having a regular girls night conversation. Ladies, if you don't find yourself during this journey, you are simply NOT honest with who you are! I absolutely loved this book. One of my greatest purchases this year! It makes for a great stocking stuffer or a just because gift for ALL the wonderful ladies in your life!

Finished this book in less than 2 hours and it was great. Not only was it on point about the types of women that exist today but also is a positive reinforcement of a woman's worth. I personally feel every teenager should own this book. I can only imagine a lot of mistakes I may have avoided if this book was available 15 years ago. A must read for every modern woman and I will definitely be passing this on to my daughter & nieces. Awesome book!

This is a very good book, truthful and factual. I most love the font not the same old small words thats hard to read. Also, its a good amount of pages that u would want to finish the entire book. You should buy a few copies and give them out to friends and family.

First book I've read in ten years or more and it was worth it! Fila, speaks directly to the reader letting you know that you are responsible for all that is going in your life and it is up to you to change it. Her writing is in simple form and this helps you get right to the heart of the matter. This book is a must read for all women. The character analysis and forces women to face their ISSUES. Love how real and raw the language is, and speak to anyone from a grandma to today's youth. Definitely will be purchasing more copies for the women in my life.
