Enjoyable and easy read
This book features 19 homes. Each has a brief one page introduction, providing some comments about their design philosophy, followed by high quality photos, brief quotes and good captions. Some of the homes are a bit frilly for my own personal taste, but I still enjoyed looking at them. As the focus is on the high quality photos and conveying the owners style in a few (but well written) lines, this makes for an easy and enjoyable read.

A beautiful book. So nice to see pages of furniture you can actually identify their pedigree and history. Very nice traditional but updated rooms to enjoy and dream about recreating in your own home.

This is a charming little book. I love southern decorating because it is so comfortable and gracious. I only wish there was more color in the rooms which is why I didn't give it 5 stars.
