SOUTH KOREA 101: The Culture, Etiquette, Rules and Customs

The book was an enjoyable quick read. The author did a nice job sharing his experiences while living in Seoul. The book was very basic in that he touched on able 8-10 principles that are the core of Korean culture - but I personally was looking for a deeper connection and perhaps the history behind why these cores are so important. It was a nice, personal reflection of the author. You can read it in under an hour - but if you really want to delve into the culture of Korea and understand why certain actions are taboo - then this book is not for you.

Purchased for future trip-great source of information!

My granddaughter has been loving learning about the Korean culture. She is fascinated by Kpop.

Would have given this book 5 stars but there are many observations/suppositions in here rather than hard facts. Even still, it is a very informative book which should help enlighten people traveling to Korea.

I haven't visited Korea yet but when I do I'm prepared. Mr. Soto, you should write more of these kinds of books!!

I learned quite a bit reading this some of it I have picked up from a very popular kpop group. I will definitely be recommending this to my friends.
