The battle continues
The battle against Arachnophobia continues with Death the Kid continuing to have trouble against powerful the extremely powerful Mosquito but he gets unexpected help that could tip the balance of power before. Meanwhile the others continue their mission to destroy the Demon Locks while Maka, Soul & Medusa finally make it to Arachne's throne room. Outside Baba Yaga Castle, DWMA commences their attack while Black Star continues his battle with Mifune. This fourteenth volume of the 'Soul Eater' manga continues to be truly great with a very good mixture of action and comedy. There are two main battles in this volume, the first being the second part of Kid's fight against Mosquito with the second being Black Star vs. Mifune. The Kid/Mosquito fight is nice with Kid showing how powerful he will become once he fully comes into his powers while the ultimate end of the fight and Kid's fate leaving things in a very interesting place for the plot. The Black Star/Mifune fight is probably one of best battles in the entire series as neither participant is willing to back down and both fight to the full extent of their abilities leading to a somewhat emotional ending. This battle gets quite bloody as well and the art style used towards the end really brings the battle to life. The volume includes a couple of interesting flashbacks, the first revealing some of Soul's past while the second shows how Black Star came to be raised by DWMA. As well as this, the volume also has some nice humour as Kilik fights the Demon Tool soldiers. The volume also has a short silly bonus comic as usual. Overall this was probably the best volume of 'Soul Eater' so far and the series just keeps getting better. Volume fourteen of 'Soul Eater' is easily worth a full five stars.
Let's go hunting for Souls!
Soul Eater is amazing. It has a unique art style that I haven't seen before and it works extremely well. The characters are ostentatious and surprisingly funny! The story is interesting and I can see myself getting hooked very quickly!

Very happy
Arrived well and in good condition. Enjoyed reading the manga.
PERSONAGEM IRRITANTE
