I learned cooking techniques

I learned cooking techniques for hot smoking, cold smoking, roasting smoke. Well written about basic preparation. I am sure that smoking is very indirect method of cooking that relies on a number of different factors to give me the most perfectly cooked meals that I am looking for. The pork ribs that I cooked according to the recipe from this book were great

Impressive!

This is probably my biggest complaint about these type books. The lack of editing makes everything else suspect. This book was perfect as it explains everything from the different types of smokers and choices of woods to use, to great new marinades and BBQ sauces! The author did an excellent job and also written very well. Thanks author for creating us a new book for all of us!

Easy reading

Love the recipes and good instructions. Using it for my electric smoker.

Good cooking tips..

The explanations of the methods and the helpful hints are great for the beginner smoker. It's easy to understand and doesn't go on and on about useless stuff, like some cookbooks do. It covers all types of foods including veggies and has full recipe ideas too.

Could Have Been 5*

This ebook could have/should have been a 5* book has out not been for glaring errors. In the first recipe, for example, "set time for 225°". A few recipes later ingredients are left out of the directions for use. Lastly, stupid typos sounds. The word sauté is typed out as saut é. All these errors would have been corrected with the use of an editor. This is probably my biggest complaint about these type books. The lack of editing makes everything else suspect. Are the times and temps correct? How about the ingredients amounts? Beyond that, the recipes offered are some of the best I've seen. The author doesn't just stop with meats but has fruits and vegetables as well.

Too much spice

Just ok.
