This was mostly useless
I bought this book because I've usually found her books good and used them frequently. This was a real disappointment. If you want to save money on food, get a food saver and some Souper saver silicon forms. I use them all the time. Every time I make a dish I let it cool down overnight, then put it into Souper Saver forms and freeze individual portions. Once frozen I take them out and use the Food Saver to vacuum pack to freeze them. They last for a good long time and I never waste leftovers. I also buy in bulk with chicken breasts and meats and sea food and vacuum pack them in recipe portions and freeze them untilI'm ready to cook with them. And that is a much better and simpler way to prep healthy make ahead meals and freezer recipes. Most Skinny Taste books are worth the money. This wasn't. Alas.
WOW!!! Absolutely love it
It’s my birthday and guess what I just received? Gina’s new cookbook!! Never before have a paged through a cookbook and wanted to make EVERY. SINGLE. RECIPE. Outstanding!! There is also a beautiful color picture of every recipe which is so important to me! There is a very comprehensive section at the beginning of the book called “Meal Prep Basics” that I find particularly useful, along with sections on “Freezer cooking and storage 101” and “Skinnytaste Meal Plans.” The meal plans include 4 weeks of meals referencing recipes and their pages. These sections are followed by the recipes which are just amazing. No outrageous ingredients. There is even a list in the beginning for stocking your fridge, freezer and pantry. I love it thank you Gina, this is just what I needed to make my life easier and to save time for the important things in life.
Very disappointed
I’m really disappointed in this book and I was so excited for it. It lacks creativity and feels a bit like a cash grab.
Disappointed
Normally I love Gina's books. I own them all. This one was quite disappointing. Not more than a handful of recipes that I'm interested in. If you're vegetarian or vegan you may like this but if. you're not into chickpeas, quinoa and zucchini, go by the bookstore to take a look thru the book before you buy.
Everything I needed in a cookbook.
I have been using Gina Homolka recipes and cookbooks for several years now. I have always been a meal prepper for my work weeks (yes, I am one of the people that still has to leave my house for work) and have been modifying and breaking down recipes to accommodate for this. This new cookbook has everything that I have been adding in notes to the others, including how long something will stay fresh in the fridge or freezer after assembly. I am very excited to work my way through this cookbook without needing to adapt.
The Cookbook Inspiration I Needed for the Pandemic and Virtual Schooling
First, I love this author - her food blog is my single, favorite source for new recipe inspiration because I know that her recipes always turn out delicious, are fresh, flavorful and healthy. But I feel in a rut lately with the pandemic and cooking ALL the time. And I also have two little kids doing virtual schooling which severely limits my time to make fresh recipes and also kills my desire to do so by the end of the day. So this cookbook feels like a godsend right now. I needed inspiration and I needed quick, make ahead options to keep me from reaching for the junk food options. This cookbook is it. I love her ideas - her section on grain bowls is genius, and feels perfect for fall, and she has a lot of meatless options in here which I am always looking to incorporate. I have put tags on almost every page of this book, and feel reinvigorated for tackling healthy eating for the fall and winter. Thanks Gina as always!!
Delicious food you didn’t even know was healthy!
Gina is my go to for dinner recipes, especially since they are easy to follow, taste delicious, and so many different options! This book is no different. After having a baby, some nights I find it hard to figure out dinner, let alone what to make for lunch or breakfast. This book has so many recipes to help with that! Tons of freezer friendly, slow cooker, instant pot, quick and simple recipes that taste amazing and can help me throughout the week to feed my family, and my husband and 1 year old always loves the Skinnytaste recipes I make. Her recipes has also helped me in the past lose 50lbs on WW, which she lists all the updated points on her site, so I write them all in and it’s super simple for me to figure out my points for the day. Now I’m trying to lose that baby weight and I know this new cookbook of Gina’s will help me, along with her other ones that I still use daily! Thanks Gina for all of the delicious and healthy recipes!
Great book!
This book is perfect! It’s a great combo of prepping/storing information with great recipes. Each recipe has how long it should be kept in the fridge or freezer as well. I think some people leaving negative reviews are missing the purpose of the book. It’s delicious recipes in combination with how to store and prep ahead. Not just what products she uses that someone else may not. I own all of her books and am ready to start trying some of these delicious recipes and stocking my freezer for busy nights!
Good Buy for Meal Prep
I meal prep often and I have several meal prep cookbooks. There’s a clear macros breakdown at the bottom of each recipe, instructions seem to be pretty straightforward and not fussy, each recipe has a high quality picture, and it’s all regular pantry items. Looking forward to cooking through this cookbook
Another Fabulous Cookbook
It's another hit! This is probably my second favorite cookbook, after One and Done. I started marking the pages with all the recipes I want to try, but gave up because I was marking nearly every page. Each recipe has tips on how to meal prep that recipe as well as a section on how to meal prep at the start of the cookbook. A great resource for busy people that want great, healthy food.

The Best Cookbook for Healthy Meal Planning
I have been following Skinnytaste since the first of the year and have all of the other cookbooks. This cookbook has been a request from many for a long time. I was so excited to get the new cookbook. I marked all of the recipes I want to try! I love how the first part of the book gives a guide and tips for successful meal planning. The recipes are easy to follow and give instructions for serving right away or how to meal prep and freeze. If you are new to meal planning or an old pro, this is THE cookbook for you! Oh....did I mention all the recipes are healthy?? Skinnytaste has helped me lose 57 lbs since the first of the year! Excellent flavors!
Great new recipes even if you don’t meal prep!
I love this new Skinnytaste cookbook! I have all of Gina’s cookbooks and this one does not disappoint. I’ve read some comments that if you do not meal prep, this book is not worth it. I find this so untrue! I’m retired and really don’t meal prep. I have a small family but there are so many great new recipes in this book, especially for breakfast and lunches. We love making bowls and there is a whole section on making bowls! I would like to start some meal prepping so I don’t have to cook when I’m tired so this cookbook has inspired me. I love Gina’s recipes because they work and always taste great. I would give this cookbook 10 stars if I could!
Everything Actually Tastes Good
I haven't been this happy with a cookbook for quite a while. The book is packed with recipes for every kind of meal prepping you could want to do whether it be planned leftovers, freezer meals, freezer to instant pot, or just making enough for a few days worth of meals. It has regular recipes too with details on how to make it for meal prepping if you'd prefer. The author is very clear on nutrition facts, storage, and portioning. So far we have tried the steel cut oats, citrus beet salad (vinaigrette is ridiculous), and Italian chicken meatballs. All of these meals were packed with flavor and pretty easy to make. I really love that I actually feel full from these meals. I'm not starving in an hour. The 5th star came in because the biggest challenge in my house is I'm always prepping healthy food for myself, and making "yummier" dishes for my partner. He honestly loved all of these dishes. Single prep menu for the win!
Not her best!
Returning mine, unfortunately there were only a few recipes I like in this book. Normally I LOVE Skinnytaste but this ones a flop.
Saturated fats, added sugars, sodium, oh my!
I was excited about this, but thoroughly disappointed. I read every recipe in the first section, and literally every single one is unhealthy in terms of recommended daily allowances of saturated fat, sodium, and/or sugar. A tablespoon of sugar in one serving of a smoothie? Who even puts sugar in a smoothie? That’s half the sugar allowance for an entire day for women. They’d all be easy to modify, but what’s the point of buying a “healthy” cookbook if you have to modify every recipe to make it healthy? Very disappointed, and I *really* expected to like this book.
Meh...
I LOVE all of the skinnytaste books. I use them everytime I meal plan. I flipped through this book and was pretty bummed. I usually request books from the library first to make sure it's worth it. I didn't do that this time, because I have always been so pleased with her cookbooks. Now I wish I would have done that. There are a few recipes I will try, but nothing jumped out and stuck with me. So bummed.
ANOTHER GREAT BOOK, 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!!!
i have all "skinnytaste" books by Gina and they are my everyday go by books, simple ingredients you can find on hands if you maintaining healthy lifestyle, gorgeous pictures, well researched and well presented. i preordered this one awhile ago and i think its my favorite by far! fantastic photos ! healthy recipes , already planning to cook from it starting today, lots of tips, well researched, well presented , must have! P.S. Gina , if you reading this reviews , please ignore low star reviews by some jealous people , who can't stand other peoples talent and success, keep up the good work for the rest of us , who appreciate your effort , your talent and will, to keep all of us motivated to cook healthy and delicious food for our families . all your books deserve 5 stars ratings! keep up good work!
Buy the One & Done cookbook instead
TLDR Version: I would give the recipes themselves 3 out of 5 stars because, for the most part, they're neither good nor bad. My review is overall 2 out of 5 stars because the production of the physical book itself is pure garbage. The binding was broken right out of the box, and the paper quality used is not as nice as the previous Skinnytaste cookbooks. I've only used this cookbook about 4 or 5 times now, and I expect I only have about 5 more uses before the bound pages separate completely from the covers. Detailed Version: I own and regularly cook from almost all of the Skinnytaste cookbooks. The series has been wonderful for planning my daily/weekly caloric intake without having to pre-log recipes in My Fitness Pal to view nutritional info or having to subsist on chicken and broccoli alone. I was hoping that this Skinnytaste cookbook installment would primarily focus on providing large batch recipes that offer more than 4 servings so that I don't have to cook 5-7 individual meals every Sunday. Unfortunately, I found that it was like all of the other Skinnytaste cookbooks in terms of variety and portion sizes, just with additional instructions on freezing and thawing meals. I cook and bake a lot, so having instructions on how to freeze and thaw homemade meals is not super helpful. Not to mention, I question many of her instructions (for example, if you follow the instructions for defrosting the breakfast sandwiches on page 51, you'll be left with soggy English muffins; in the time that it takes to engineer an alternative—having already compiled the sandwiches as recommended—so that you get firm muffins but a warm eggy/sausagey patty, you might as well have made the sandwich fresh or compiled the ingredients separately). Basically, if you are new to cooking regularly, are looking to make meals for the future (like, 1-3 months out) instead of for the upcoming week, and have no experience with freezing and subsequently thawing homemade food, this cookbook may be good for you. If you don't fit that description, I think you'll be greatly disappointed. I would recommend spending your money on the Skinnytaste One & Done cookbook if you're looking for healthy, interesting recipes with nutritional info already calculated for you. Unfortunately this cookbook has left me on the hunt for a good meal prep cookbook that offers larger batches, has nutritional info listed, and provides interesting variety.
Same old recipes in a new book
The first 3 books are great. This one is a bunch of recipes recycled from the first 3 books or old ones from the website. I’m returning the book.
Meh
I have all of Ginas cookbooks and my favorites are the first cookbook, one and done and the air fryer. This cookbook just is not as good and the recipes are not anywhere near as good as her previous books or website. Also because of COVID the book was made in Germany and the quality is not as good as previous books. The spine of my book is coming unglued and I have only opened it a few times. Overall I am disappointed with the quality and content of the book. I still love Ginas recipes so I will def continue to follow her on her website.
I LOVE IT!
I'm sooo excited to get to work on meal prep with this cookbook! I have made tons of meals from the website but this is my first cookbook of hers. It's beautiful (of course lol) and there is so much great information to get started successfully meal prepping. I love all the extra ideas to change the recipes up and the cooking tips added in too. This is the first cookbook I have ever read entirely through before jumping in and trying a recipe. I know some people have had binding issues but mine seems to be perfectly fine. Thank you Gina for making eating healthier so much easier and so much more delicious. I LOVE SKINNYTASTE!!!
Dissatisfied with this one..
I will start by saying Gina is my favorite cookbook author and I have all of her books....and typically cook at least one of her recipes a week. After preordering this one I am so disappointed, it is not up to par with her others. Many of the recipes are similar to ones in her old book with just a few minor changes. Some of the recipes are disappointing (why would I pay $20 for a recipe for air popped popcorn?). I will keep loving her blog and definitely purchase her future books but this one definitely missed the mark. I wish I had borrowed someone else’s before purchasing this.
Some great recipes, but not my favorite of Gina's books
First, let me say I am a huge SkinnyTaste fan. I have all of Gina's books, follow her blog and, as an avid meal prepper, looked forward to this book. For the most part, it has met expectations. As usual, it is full of creative recipes and tips, including techniques and twists on classics that I would never have dreamed up myself. Pan sheet pancakes?? Mind-blowing! Stuff jalapenos with Italian tomato sauce? Another mouth-watering keeper! The book also contains recipes that will go into my rotation--for example, the Colombian-style cranberry beans recipe. I made these vegan (without the ham hock), and my Colombian husband went back for seconds and thirds, then wanted leftovers for breakfast. A cookbook that scores a rotation recipe (and such a ringing endorsement from my family) deserves at least four stars. However, there were a few misses. For example, the PB+J Healthy Oatmeal Cookies were a disappointment. Also, the section on bowls had some editing issues. For example, there's a suggestion for a bowl with air-fried tofu and tahini dressing, yet there are no recipes or preparation instructions for either. Sure I can Google recipes for these, but I would expect the cookbook to provide more guidance. Similarly, there is a recipe for a peanut-hoisin sauce, but no examples of how to use it. Again, a little more guidance would be helpful here. In spite of these shortcomings, this is a cookbook that I will get lots of use of, and I look forward to trying several additional recipes. Next up on my list is the Black Bean and Butternut Enchilada Bake, Chicken Larb Bowls, and Roasted Vegetable Lasagna. Again, Gina has given home cooks like me who try to eat healthy but don't want to sacrifice flavor a winner for a cookbook.
Disappointed
I was really excited about this cookbook when I ordered it, but I’m very disappointed upon receiving it. I absolutely love the other skinnytaste cookbooks and I have made almost every recipe time and again from them. After going through this entire book I can only find maybe 8 recipes I’m interested in making. I’m already familiar with meal preparation and I don’t feel like this book offered any new tips for me. Maybe if you aren’t familiar with meal prepping it could be helpful. The section with the make your own bowls is nothing new to me. A lot of the tips and shopping lists you can find easily on Pinterest. I wouldn’t recommend this book to anyone and I don’t feel like it would simplify my life. I will just stick with Gina’s weekly email meal plans.
Book is Great, Binding, Not So Much
Fantastic ideas for prepping your meals in advance. I struggle with breakfast prep and working overnights, I'm still preparing a meal for myself and my husband before he leaves for the day and I go to bed. Something that would be light but still filling, so more like an evening meal should be, would be great for me to prep. I might even think about prepping dinner for breakfast. I love this book, I will use it a lot, but my copy arrived bound upside down and backward. I don't want it replaced but I thought someone should know that there are probably other copies like this one. If they want to replace it, great, but I'm not going to bother with returning it.
Skinnytaste for the Win, Again
I was counting the days for this to arrive, and as with all things Skinnytaste, it far surpassed my expectations. In fact, I think this may be my favorite cookbook of hers yet! I’m actually excited to meal prep with the book, and nearly every recipe is something I’m already looking forward to making. As a late-bloomer cook who’s still not all that comfortable in the kitchen, Skinnytaste recipes are designed for novices like me. This is the first of many, many meal prep cookbooks that I’ve bought that not only makes me feel like I can do it, but actually has healthy recipes I want to eat. Whether or not you’re familiar with Skinnytaste, this cookbook should be on your shelf. It’s got everything from breakfasts to hearty lunch salads and even snacks. I also love the four-week sample meal plan that’s included, and I can’t wait to try it out. Even those just learning to boil water will find this indispensable.
So many recipes
I love this cookbook!! Out of all the cookbooks this is my fav. I’ve been using everyday it since i got it! It says meal prep but you can make these meals for everyday dinners and lunches too! I just made the breakfast fried rice for my weeks lunches. I love that the recipes aren’t too long and complicated. I have 2 kids so most things need to be quick. A lot of the recipes are whole family foods too. My kids are picky so i love when i can make food well all eat! The Korean bowls are my fav. If this review helped you please vote helpful and follow me for more product reviews!!
Great cookbook for adventurous foodies that are health/budget conscious.
I’ve been using the Sknnytaste website for three years to help with weight loss and to eat healthier. I’m a big fan of Skinnytaste, but this is the first cookbook of Gina’s I’ve bought. I am not disappointed! What I love about Skinnytaste in general is the wide variety of recipes available to try from all different ethnic groups. I am an adventurous foodie, so love the fact that Skinnytaste provides recipes to fit any mood, budget, time constraint, etc. While there are some old favorites of mine in this cookbook you can find on the website (Korean beef bowls being one example), there are tons of new recipes and I’ve tried 5 so far that have been excellent. I really love the chapter about bowls. Easy, tasty, healthy! Great cookbook and can’t wait to try out more recipes!
Love the freezer/fridge duration, pictures, and nitro-facts.
My 3rd ST book. Every recipe has nutritional facts, freezer/fridge duration, and reheating instructions. Finish photo of every recipe (we feast with our eyes!). Easy to keep track of your calories. Recipes I’ve tried (will add to list as I make my way through): 1. Breakfast fried rice. Easy. Perfect balance of flavor, but not over the top salty or oily. I definitely cut down a lot of steps, because I’m lazy. I added everything in one pan. I’d say fry up the chopped bacon first, add the eggs, then the cauliflower rice and leftover rice, & then the rest of ingredients. One pan, less mess. 2. Mini churros (see photo). Mines turn out so ugly, but they taste so darn good! Crispy and just perfect balance of flavor!
Another hit!
I already own three other Skinnytaste cookbooks. I cook from them regularly and a few of the recipes have become staples that I cook from memory. I was so excited to receive Gina’s newest book in the mail today after a super long day. I am drooling over all of these recipes and I can’t wait to try them!
Great recipes but wanted more full week meal prep
Still a fan of Skinnytaste, great recipes with lots of options for gluten free and low calories. I was hoping this had a bit more of the meal prep/batch cooking aspect. Some of the recipes are for only two servings and some only last a few days. Personally, when I think of meal prep, I think of big Sunday cooking for the entire weeks, not just 2 servings. However, the freezer options are good so made up for the lack of week prep in my opinion. Would still recommend but just was expecting a little different is all. Will potentially buy the one pan or air fryer books as well.
Highly recommend buying this book!!
I have the whole collection of Skinnytaste books and this one is no exception to the greatness! The recipes are delicious whether you are looking to eat clean, get lean, start a health journey or simply enjoy a great meal! My husband is not one to gravitate toward anything healthy but he sure does approve of every skinnytaste meal I make and have even added some to our weekly rotations. This is not your typical healthy cookbook I promise you! You will find so much variety in recipes and In flavors, there is something for everybody. Don’t believe me, try one of Gina Homolka recipes from her website skinnytaste.com and you’ll come right back to buy the book, you’ll see! :)
hardback cover falling off
This is not a review on the content of the cookbook (which I am sure is great) but on the quality of the book itself. I took my book out of the (undamaged) Amazon box to find it like this! The spine is not glued and the interior cover paper has ripped away from both the front and back interior. I have ordered a replacement and hopefully this was a one-off and not a problem with the production of the actual book. 😒
I love the idea of this book. Recipes are decent so far.
Firstly, I want to say I love the idea of this book. I'm really working on doing more meal prep as part of my ongoing weight loss and I typically love Skinnytaste recipes. Looking through the book, there are lots of recipes I want to try. The reason I'm only giving this four stars is that I've tried a couple of the recipes (pina colada yogurt and Greek salad with chickpeas) and they were good, but not great. The yogurt was OK - maybe I over toasted the almonds, but it tasted a bit bitter. Possibly adding some more pineapple would balance it out. The Greek salad bowls are tasty, but I've found I need to add half a grilled chicken breast or I'm ravenous an hour later (it's mostly cucumber). Maybe bumping up the chickpeas would work too. All in all, I'm looking forward to trying more of the recipes in this book. Hopefully the others will be even better!
Beautiful pictures, great for a beginner, LOVE that it's hardcover.
Good book. Absolutey love that it's hardcover with gorgeous high quality pages and pictures. I've used her website years ago previously and there are tons of recipes here. This book divulges into healthy meal prep so time constraints don't throw off your eating. I haven't made much in it as I am trying to move more towards plant-based foods, but the recipe with roasted winter veggies was fantastic. I swapped out something (maybe it was rice?) for a chickpea, jasmine rice and quinoa mixture I get from Whole Foods. The egg was a nice addition, although my timing needs to improve. It would have been better runnier (sidetracked and cooked about 2 mins longer than recommended). The end result was healthy and filling.
Perfect for BUSY PARENTS!
I have all the Skinnytaste cookbooks with the exception of the Air Fryer book. And I did not like the 2nd cookbook Gina came out with that much. I have been a fan of Gina’s for a loooong time well before her cookbooks came out! This may be one of my favorite of her cookbooks! GET IT NOW. This has been a GAMECHANGER for me. I am a busy working Mom and during the pandemic, my meal planning REALLY slipped. Working from home, I feel like I am always available for work and always busy (but grateful to have a job nonetheless!) Anyway, I have been too tired to make dinner, disinterested in meal planning etc. resorting to last minute thrown together meals and feeling frantic! THEN...I got this book and it kind of saved the routine in my house! I now prep a few things on a Sunday and essentially keep a backlog in the freezer for nights/days when I can just pull something out. They are all pretty easy to make! Some recipes like the Greek loaf, you can make two loaves and have one for later and one for that week! This has really helped me feel less stressed out and get some nutritious food on the table for my little fam.
BEST, MOST-USED COOKBOOK
This is definitely the best and most-used cookbook I own. I've had it since January and have made well over 25 recipes so far. All have been fantastic. I love how some recipes use the same 'unique' ingredients that I don't normally stock in my panty - like rice vinegar, ginger, smoked paprika, etc. (It's nice not wasting money on an ingredient I'll never use, like other cookbooks...) The planned-over section is my favorite. I appreciate her adding notes about substituting ingredients or what to pair with it at the beginning of the recipe. Also, the photos are great. I'd highly recommend this cookbook!
Try elsewhere
Honestly very disappointed.... I've loved her other book but after flipping through this edition I didn't find a single recipe that I'd like to use.... most are using ingredients that you wouldn't normally already have and I hate getting an ingredient that I'll use once .... and my family is not picky by any means but honestly no appealing ideas in this edition.....
Must-add to the Collection
I have long been a fan of Skinnytaste, I cook Gina's recipes a few times per week. I own all of the cookbooks. This one is great because you can either prep the meals in advance and follow the guidelines for freezing and then cooking on the stove/instant pot/slow cooker, or you can just make it right away. I have made a few different recipes so far and the Chicken, Mushroom and Wild Rice soup is our favorite, but there are so many more to make. It's great to have flavorful recipes with fewer calories.
I can't wait to dig in to this book!!!!
I pre-ordered this book and have been checking the mailbox every day to see if it came! As soon as it arrived, I grabbed my stack of Post It Notes and got to work! There are TONS of recipes in here that I cannot wait to try! I used almost the entire pack of Post It Notes! I will have a hard time deciding which one to make first! I love that Gina provides so much information about shopping and having a well-stocked kitchen with these recipes. She also includes nutritional information and tells you how long the food will last in the refrigerator AND freezer! Another great Skinnytaste cookbook to add to my collection!
Another yummy cookbook filled with healthy meals.
This is my fourth cookbook by the same author. She has different recipes in each one so there is never repeat information. There are tons of pictures which always inspires me. The particular book helped us move from making meals every night to getting stuff prepped and either frozen or pre-cooked so that we had easier dinner times throughout the week. We purchased the glass individual containers so we have perfect sized portions and they can go from the freezer to the microwave or oven.
WOW!!! Another winner from Skinnytaste!!!
Gina Homolka does it again! This cookbook is well-organized and gives tons of practical tips for making meal prepping easy!! For each recipe, she tells you how long it will keep in the fridge, and for many others, she tells you how long it will keep in the freezer. Like with all her other recipe books, she also gives the nutritional info for each recipe. The first part of the cookbook contains sections on "Meal Prep Basics," "Freezer Cooking & Storage 101," and "Skinnytaste Meal Plans." Gina takes out all the guesswork of meal prepping!!
Don't underestimate this cookbook!
I did not appreciate this book when I first ordered it. The recipes seemed less like recipes more like food to just throw together. Then, I started working full-time and my time to make dinner had decreased drastically. I now really appreciate those "throw it together" recipes because they are time-savers, but also healthy and satisfying. I have all of Gina's cookbooks, and I have marked the most recipes in this book!
Yes you can meal prep, it's easier than you think
Gina has made it to the next level of meal prep. So many ideas I wish I had thought of first. Sheet pan pancakes, casserole breakfast sandwiches, instant pot gumbo. Genius. If you like the Fast and Slow cookbook, this is her sequel with freezer friendly, meal prep directions. I've had this book since the day it was published and I can't stop geeking over it.
great recipes
We were looking for an easy source of recipes that were healthy. I did a lot of looking and came upon this (and the other books in the author's series). We tried this so we'd have some prep ideas for lunch but we can also use the recipes for dinner. We have loved all the recipes we have tried. We didn't get this trying to lose weight or anything, though I'm sure you can if you are persistent with this. The meal planning is a neat feature, again if you are looking to lose weight. We just wanted some healthy options and this book is full of tasty and healthy recipes. I'd highly recommend.
Great for a busy family
I’m a busy working mom with two very active boys that keep us busy through dinner time 4 nights a week. This cookbook is filled with amazing meal options that I can prep in advance and drop in my crockpot, instant pot or oven to get dinner done quickly. I also love the meals that you repurpose something for a second meal that doesn’t taste like leftovers. The recipes are healthy and open my kids to new things, but in a way they aren’t afraid to try it. My kids love flipping through the pages and picking out new things to try and the photos make them want to try lots of things!
Love it!!!
Gina has done it again! I am a huge skinnytaste fan. Almost everything I make is skinnytaste and I don’t diet. I just love the fresh ingredients and the variety of cuisine. I wasn’t sure if I would love it like I do the other cook books since I don’t do a lot of meal prep, but I think it might be up there with one and done! Most of the recipes are fast which I love for weeknight dinner and the clear directions for how to freeze or prep ahead has made me want to give meal pepping a try. Buy it. So worth it.
Another Skinnytaste Winner
I purchased this cookbook not for the idea of meal prepping as I am retired, but because Gina’s recipes are on point, healthy, easy to follow and delicious. The photography is beautiful, ingredients are available in non speciality grocery stores and are innovative and original. I have all of Gina’s cookbooks and this one does not disappoint.
Great tips, great food.
This book is excellent! I've been into meal prep lately (or at least having stuff in the freezer if necessary) so I've been looking around at different recipe books. This is fast becoming our favorite weekday recipe book! I've been cooking through the book as normal and will start cooking and freezing things when I finally get some time alone to do so. I love that every recipe has the time it can stay in the fridge and freezer for - that's a huge thing for me since I'm convinced my food is trying to poison me
I don’t often leave reviews ..
I usually read a lot of reviews before making a purchase, but some of the the negative reviews I read regarding this book are mind blowing. I’m not sure what those individuals were expecting in a book.. but this book is absolutely phenomenal! I have loved just about all of Gina’s books. Not a fan of the Airfryer book but still plan to use some of it.. With that being said, the recipes in this book are tailored to my life. I generally follow somewhat of a WW diet/lifestyle, all nurtrition facts are listed at the end of each recipe, with serving sizes. Some of these recipes —YES— are repeats or recycled from her previous literature-but a small fraction.. All of the recipes are also listed with storage information; you can eat them at the time of, or make big batches, freeze ahead, or have small portions handy for the week with meal prepping. This is more of a MEAL PREP book, for busy lifestyles, not a FREEZER PREP BOOK, although some of these recipes can be frozen and she highlights those that can in each section - and even has a freezer meal chapter. If you’re looking for a freeze ahead specific book, this ain’t the one! This is for the individuals who may spend one night a week making their lunches and breakfast ahead of time with a busy life. Or it teaches those how to plan ahead for dinners so you have less kitchen time at the time of cooking! Hope this helps!
Disappointed compared to Skinnytaste books
I typically love Skinnytaste recipes and cookbooks, so I was really looking forward to this meal prep books release. So far I haven’t been overly impressed with any of the recipes in this book, and find a lot of them to be pretty boring.
Fantastic, everyday go to cookbooks life saver
I have waited for this book. I love how the freezing and canning section. Ingenious ❤️ Her recipes turn out exactly as she says & measurements are perfect I have every book that Gina has done. I keep them out and use everyday I really respect how healthy she has made them & delicious I follow her everyday so kind, and genuine I would love her to do a canning book even if it’s smaller
You need this in your life
I LOVE THIS COOKBOOK. The recipes are amazing. I’ve made 8 things so far and they are easy to cook, easy to freeze/store... I got this book to help fill my freezer before my daughter is born in January. VERY much worth it. I know it will be well used throughout her childhood. Only complaint; I know it’s her brand but I really dislike the “skinny” part in the tittle. It’s outdated and problematic.
Amazing! Just get it!
I’m really enjoying this book. Hands down the best cook book I’ve had. I love that it gives you a recipe to make, then different ones for the leftovers.
The most beautiful cookbook!
I cannot tell you how many ways I love this cookbook. Easy recipes with a photo for every page, most are ready in 30 minutes, there is a calorie count etc. for every recipe and many recipes are for 2 people! I have bought 3 now with 2 for gifts. Look Inside this one for sure. I found the first one at Costco!
Great book!
I preordered this months ago and was so excited to receive it yesterday. It did not disappoint!! The recipes all look great and I'll make almost every single one of them. The pictures are stunning and the recipes are approachable. If you're looking for some help to eat healthy and meal prep along the way, get this book!
Love! My Favorite Cookbook Now
So often, cookbooks have a couple recipes you end up loving and the rest are ones you might make once or never try. With meal prep, I can attest to wanting to bookmark every couple pages like others have mentioned! I’ve only had this book about four months and I’ve already made 15 of the recipes. One of the reasons I haven’t tried even more is I keep remaking those first delicious 15! I like the varied approaches of meal prep this book helps you plan. This isn’t big batch cooking once a week — it’s planning for leftovers, taking advantage of your freezer and helping you cook with pantry items plus fresh ingredients. There are plenty of Instant Pot recipes in here as well that make dinner even easier. I also noticed many of the recipes have crossover ingredients so that when you plan your shopping for the week, you can use up what you buy with a wide range of meals. Would highly recommend!!
Helpful for families!
These recipes are made with real food and will be so fun to make! The recipes are also reasonable to feed a family. Cannot wait to use this! Love Skinnytaste!
Another favorite!!
There’s nothing Gina dreams up that I don’t like! These recipes are sure to join the rest of her recipes in my family’s rotation of staples. Yes they’re healthy but there is nothing here to make you feel deprived or like you are eating “diet food”. Skinnytaste cookbooks are my most dog eared, well worn, and loved books and I don’t expect any less for this one!!
Skinny Cooking
I have all of Gina's cookbooks. I absolutely love them. Her pictures are plentiful and beautiful to look at. The recipes are easy to make and great for people who want to eat healthy. I have given her books as gifts and recommend her recipes whenever it comes up in conversation.
One of my favorites!
This cookbook is one of my favorite cookbooks. I love that the recipes are simple and explain well how to cook it immediately or save it to cook later. This had helped me meal prep for future dinners and has saved a lot of time. They're also very weight watchers friendly recipes.
So impressive!
I am so blown away by how good this cookbook is. All the recipes are simple without crazy ingredients you can only get in one place. And the fact that Gina Homolka also has a feature on her website that tells you the WW points for EACH meal is an absolute game changer. I am so so so impressed. Everything looks delicious and I cannot wait to start cooking. Will definitely buy from this author again.
Recipes are great.
I have 3 other Skinnytaste cookbooks and they are wonderful for dieters. Easy to make, low calorie, large portions, and most importantly they taste good. However, this is my least favorite of the books as I don't find quite as many recipes that I want to try out.
Love this Book!
I have too many cookbooks and usually find 2-3 recipes in each that I like. I actually bought this to help my niece with meal prep, but have made more meals for my husband and I have planned for her! There are a lot of meals that work for just 2 people and the recipes are from a wide range of cultures. Healthy, but so flavorful, you don't realize anything is missing.
Very nice selection of recipes
Great for inspiration and the recipes I've made so far are delicious! I also like the suggestions for freezing and reheating, and the sample month of meal planning. Very nice and appetizing pictures as well. Really liked the amount of vegetarian selections.
Good compilation but could have been priced better
I always enjoy Skinnytaste recipes and was excited for this meal prep option. The photos are stunning and enticing and the recipes are simple enough. However, I noticed that many of these recipes were already available for free on the website/instagram, which makes the price of the book not as worth it. It's a nice resource to have handy but I would have rather paid ten bucks than twenty for what it is.
Great cookbook, bad binding
Love the SkinnyTaste recipes, and this book did not disappoint in that regard. But the book construction is awful. You can hear the binding crack every time every time the book is opened, and pages have begun to fall out. Have seen this same complaint multiple times on the SkinnyTaste Facebook page, so this isn’t a one-off complaint.
The Bible for anyone who wants to learn to cook different types of cuisine.
I’ve been following Skinnytaste since late 2017. I can count on one hand the amount of times I’ve been disappointed with a recipe. The different types of cuisine that she includes are just incredible. It’s made me expand my food palette that much more. Can’t wait to dig into the new stuff!
Excellent, once again
If you were disappointed by the size of Gina's air fryer book, you will be thrilled with this one. Not only is it an excellent meal prepping boom, but all the recipes can simply be made same day too and have directions as such. Excellent buy.
Fabulous Meal Prep Cookbook
I got this book today and once I opened it, I could not put it down. This is wonderful collection of recipes...so many choices I don't know where to start. I want to make everything in the book. Wonderful value...I couldn't be more pleased.
Gina does it again - great cookbook.
I love this cookbook - and all of the Skinnytaste cookbooks - but I finally realized why the book felt “wobbly” when I started reading - got to the back and saw this defect. I already wrote my WW points on each page so I can’t return it, but I hope it will hold up to my frequent use. Hence - the 4 star review.
The book itself is fantastic (no big surprise there) but...
The construction is very poor. I'm afraid that the binding will let go just any time. I've seen others that had that very thing happen. Just be aware!! The book is wonderful - I've used several recipes already!
LOVE her recipes!
I own all her cookbooks; her recipes are amazing AND healthy! I literally learned how to become a better cook from her books and website! Can’t wait for the next one!
Great Recipes
I just love this cookbook. I have all of Ginas cookbooks and this one is fabulous too!! Meal prepping is an easy way to get ahead of cooking. I love to cook and create and this book will be very helpful. I’ve personally met Gina at two cookbook signings. She is very warm and beautiful and love how she makes food taste so good. Thanks Gina for all your hard work. Diane Crammer (dianekruegercrammer55)
All of her recipes are fantastic!
I have several cookbooks by Skinnytaste and she is the absolute best. I don't think I've ever made a bad recipe by her. I recommend her cookbooks to everyone who is looking to eat a bit healthier. Lots of different flavors with ingredients you can find at almost any grocery store. She's the best.
So good, you won’t know it’s healthy!
Another fabulous cookbook for people that like delicious food but want to be healthy. Great recipes, illustrations, and directions. The ingredients are easily obtainable too. Seriously five star!
Perfect for healthy minded folks
Great book! I’ve done six recipes from this and they were all good! This was my first time eating healthy on a regular basis and this book kept me interested.
Binding Issues
I love these books and recipes which I have previously purchased at Target. This time I decided to purchase from Amazon. When my book arrived I was excited until I went to open it the binding is almost completely separated front the book cover - I was NOT happy.
Meh.
Not nearly as good as her other books. Other than a handful of breakfast recipes, nothing else is that exciting. I had pre ordered the book expecting the recipes to be as interesting as her previous books.
Meal Prep Awesomeness!
Gina Homolka has done it again with another wonderful cookbook with beautiful vivid pictures and easy and approachable recipes and meal prep ideas!!! Love the mix and match bowl idea. Totally genius and loving this new cook book!
Another winner!!!
Every Skinnytaste cookbook is so good! The only author i know where my "I want to make this tonight" tabs are on almost every page!
Great recipes but book is Lacking Quality
My book is coming apart at the spine. Very disappointed! I love her cookbooks and use them all the time. I was expecting more of a meal prep for batch cooking on Sunday’s. This was not the case; they have a small section for “planned overs” but it only gives 8 servings. To put it in perspective most recipes serve 4-6 in the other cook books. My husband eats for 2-3 🙃 based on the recommended servings. Otherwise we will definitely be trying the recipes and putting this book to good use! Just hoping it doesn’t fall apart on me 😅
Not what I expected
A lot of these recipes are more recipes I would make same day then I had a time. They are a bit too unique for me to take the time make and then store without knowing if my family will like them. Was hoping for some more traditional family recipes
Family Friendly
We’ve loved all the recipes we’ve tried so far! My picky eater especially liked the Avena smoothie recipe, I have a hard time getting her to eat much fiber or protein, and this packs a punch with both. Surprisingly, my kids also loved the beet salad. I love all the tips for making all or part of the recipe ahead of time.
Obsessed with this!!
This is now the only cookbook I use. I’m obsessed. Healthy and creative meals. I love that there are freezing/portioning/reheating notes for each one.
Overall great resource
This book has all the info you'd need to understand at the very least minimal prep. It has a sample meal plan, provides idea on the use of left overs, and basic construction of a balanced bowl. One of my most useful and healthy kitchen resources.
Disappointed...
I thought this cookbook was going to be a meal-prepping *plan*. It is not. It is just a regular cookbook with instructions how to freeze etc. different recipes to enjoy later. Very disappointed!
SkinnyTaste made a huge difference in my life
I love all of Gina's recipes. We made the gyro loaves just last night and they were a huge thumbs up from the whole family! My family liked it so much, they asked for a repeat for lunch!
Book is falling apart.
The book is breaking away from the binding. Very disappointing. I don’t think it will last and will try to return.
Love this cookbook!!!
If you only get one healthy cooking book, this is the one! So many great recipes, plus lots of mix and match options so you’ll never get bored! Gina Homolka is awesome!
Great layout
Sooo excited to get this book! Gina Homolka has done it again. I especially like the layout of this book. She notes how long each recipe can stay in the fridge and most importantly each recipient has a side note of how to meal prep that particular recipe. I’m a working mom with 3 children (one in a baby). This is just what I needed ❤️❤️
Loving this Cookbook!
I was so excited for this cookbook and it does not disappoint. The book is beautiful with tons of pictures and everything looks delicious! I can't wait to try all the recipes. I've been using Skinnytaste cookbooks for years and I'm so happy to try out these new recipes & meal prep tips.
As always, very excited to try new Skinnytaste recipies!
I've been looking forward to this book for a while now! Her recipes are always my favorites and most of the time I end up making them over and over. I do a lot of meal prep and I'm so excited to try new ideas. The recipes I've seen looked amazing and I can't wait to try them!!
Solid meal prep book with great ideas and wonderful pictures!
Love all things Skinnytaste. The idea of "meal prep" is different for different people I guess. I find that a lot of these recipes have to be doubled in order to make a weeks worth of meals for two. It is nice to have an option other than chicken!
SO Many Great Ideas
I am on the website (skinnytaste.com) all the time and wanted to look at one of her books... This is great for families and those of us who work all the time. So many great ideas that are not on the website....
Worth the buy
Based on all the binding issues hardcovers had, a download was the way to go.
Great book for beginner meal prep
This book is great! So many yummy recipes and ideas. I hate eating the same things over and over but this book has plan overs which is a great idea to repurpose leftovers. I’m a flight attendant and having food that keep for 2-3 days at a time is essential for my trips and in this book Gina has many tips on storing the meals or ingredients. I’ve been meal prepping for 3 years now and this book gave me tons of neat ideas for meals to keep in rotation. Also, I love that she included meal plans, they are definitely helping me get back on track. Thank you Gina for all your recipes :)
Best of the Skinnytaste Series
I like this cookbook. It is well organized, has great pictures, and offers tons of practical information. I bought it for the recipes, but I really like all the useful time saving ideas. Of all of the Skinnytaste cookbooks, this is definitely my favorite.
Yikes
I'm a huge Skinnytaste fan and have loved every single cookbook Gina has produced. However, she really missed the mark with her latest cookback, Skinnytaste Meal Prep. I didn't find the recipes interesting and I didn't find that they were healthy. I found myself saying that most recipes were too fattening, too sugary, or too salty. Sometimes, 2/3!
Great meal prep book!
Excited to make a lot from this book! Basic recipes and some you can find on site but it was well thought out and what a lot of her followers requested!
Would make almost every recipe
I just received the book last night, and flipping through, I would make basically every recipe (minus the ones with shrimp lol - although I could replace with chicken!). I can't wait to prep some bowls!
Easy, Simple, inexpensive Meal Prep Recipes
This is my first book purchase of Skinnytaste. I love it and will buy other books
New book in horrible condition
The condition I received this book is completely unacceptable! As this is a brand new book not a used book. I will be returning it for another copy. New book aren’t cheap!
Healthy Cookbook
This cookbook is awesome and educational especially for people wanting to eat healthier, and understand the concepts behind making healthier choices. Many great recipes and well worth the purchase to add to my culinary collection as a chef.
Gina does it again!!
Gina does it again!! I hesitated on buying this cookbook because I thought, so I really need ANOTHER Skinnytaste cookbook?? Yes, I do! I haven’t made anything from the cookbook yet because I just got it yesterday but I marked nearly half of it to make. I love the format of this cookbook because I’ve been really trying to “cook once, eat several times” to save time as a busy mom, virtually schooling young kids. Well done, Gina! Thank for re-inspiring me this fall in the kitchen!
Amazing recipes .. another winner by Skinnytaste
I can’t say enough about how much I love all of the Skinnytaste books!! Get it!!
🍕💕💰
Awesome book lost weight instantly
Great recipe book
Lots of great recipe ideas. Love Skinnytaste
Expected More
Honestly speaking, I expected more from this cook book. I own all of her books and have been visiting her website for more than 5 years looking for lunch and dinner inspirations. This, unfortunately, felt a bit... tired and uninspired. I was really looking forward to this one - unfortunately... it just doesn’t hit the mark.
Very user friendly
Love the book! Great recipes and uses ingredients you would notmally have on hand so no running to the store for off ball items.
Deeeeelicious!
Great cookbook! I love Gina and this book hasn’t disappointed.. I got it for Christmas to complete my SkinnyTaste collection and we’ve already made quite a few new family favorites from it! Highly recommend the Turkey Taquitos! Quick, easy and made a double match for leftovers for lunch and to freeze! So delicious!
More then just a cookebook
I am always a fan of the Skinnytaste cookbooks and this was no exception. The pictures and recipes are easy to follow. What sets this apart is all the interesting facts and how-to guides on the meal prepping process. So you get a great overview of how to do everything from start to finish!
Gina does it again!
Gina does it again! This is a great cookbook to think of quick, simple meals - making cooking enjoyable, efficient & fun! Can’t wait to check out these recipes.
very good
I love Gina's cookbooks..This book is beautifully done from the cover to what is on the inside. She makes it easier for people to make meals. Thank you.
This might be her best yet!
I can't believe how many recipes are packed in here! All look great...and I am not even looking to freeze/store the dishes! Beautiful pictures!
The Best meal prep book I have purchased!
I love all of the Skinnytaste cookbooks but this one is probably my favorite! I have bookmarked almost every page to make the recipe! It's definitely 5 stars and worth the money! You won't be disappointed.
Never disappointed in her recipes
A great addition to your cookbook collection! A wide variety of recipes and techniques.
Another hit from Gina and skinnytaste
Beautiful images as usual. Lots of new recipes. Ideas for freeze ahead meals, planning for leftovers and info on how to meal prep. Recipes work well with my WW plan. Lovely book
Two books arrived with damage.
Returned original purchase because book binding was damaged and some pages showed signs of water damage. Returned for a new book. The second book arrived with similar smudged pages resembling water damage. Binding does appear better but this is not a satisfactorily printed product. We really want the recipes so are not bothering with yet another return. You all obviously have some quality control issues with printers that need addressing.
Great cookbook
Everything we’ve made so far is great! Love this cookbook.
Fantastic cookbook
I’ve been a Skinnytaste fan for years and was very thrilled to receive the latest cookbook. Lots of meal prep ideas and I’ve always been happy with her recipes.
SO many good recipes
I love all Gina's cookbooks but this one is one of the best. So many recipes made me think, duh, why didn't I think of that? Crazy creative. Love her flavor profiles. Bought a second for my daughter right away and we've both loved everything we have made in here.
So easy and so yummy
I never leave reviews but feel compelled to tell everyone about this book. I started to meal prep to have readily available meals as I work from home, as an alternative to the constant snacking! Every recipe I have tried so far has been super easy to make and SO full of flavor. I am not one for leftovers, but these have all been fabulous. I will be disappointed when I find a flop recipe!
Variety is the Spice of Life
Really enjoying the healthy recipes this book has to offer. I bought for my husband for Christmas and we have made 3 recipes from it and they have all been very good. Super pleased with the variety of dishes!
But it!!
Absolutely love all of the Skinnytaste cookbooks and this one is no exception! I made the Carrot Tomato Ginger Soup tonight and it was delicious! I can’t wait to cook more recipes!!
Binding is horrible
There are many recipes that look good and I have all of the Skinnytaste books but this book binding is horrible. I got the first book and it broke the minute I opened it. Got the second book and I am pretty sure it will do it shortly after opening it several times. Not sure if I am going to keep it because of this. Just know if you buy it the binding may not stay together.
Cheaply made book falling apart from day one
Every time I reach for this book, I am upset by the poor quality of the book itself. I open it up and it crackles and the contents are not attached to the binding. The pictures are so pretty; too bad it such a poor quality construction. I keep cookbooks for years. This one might last a month. Cheap.
Great Recipes
I love Skinneytaste recipe. I have3 of her books. She has a lot of tips on meal prep.
Meh
Mehhh. Really wish I would have looked at this cookbook in a store before purchasing.
Great Recipes
I love these recipes, made my life a lot easier when it comes to eating healthier!
Best cookbook for today's healthy eating!
Have been waiting for this to arrive. So many delcious recipes and gluten free and weight watchers smart point too! She gives you excellent tips on how to plan and prepare!
Fabulous tasting and healthier options
I have all her cookbooks. We love everything we have tried. My fiancé is anti-diet food but realizes with better choices and ingredients and Gina's fabulous recipes we eat like we are in a restaurant. I can't wait to try these!!!
Poor publishing quality
I received the book the day it was released. The pages are barley attached to the binding and the book is falling apart because of it. I’ve heard many others say the same so I would definitely wait until they fix the issue.
Awesome healthy meal prep
Awesome recipes. Everything I’ve made has been great! Relatively simple as well.
Poor Quality of Book
The content is great, beautiful photos and recipes. However the actual book itself is not the same quality as previous Skinnytaste cookbooks. The spine came cracked, which is disappointing.
A Must have for busy people
Another great cookbook from Gina! The first few recipes I made were hits! Can’t wait to try more.
As always, Gina delivers an easy to use and diverse cookbook
I have LOVED this cookbook. I thought it might not fit my needs, but the meals I have made have been family approved and SO delicious. Whether you are counting calories or trying to eat low calorie or now, this book will give you crowd pleasing meals that don't skimp on flavor. Highly recommend.
Great cookbook
This is the best, love all the receipes! All the helpful hints are great!
Skinnytaste is Fantastic
I look forward to another great cookbook from the skinnytaste collection- the 4 stars is for the binding of the book- like others have mentioned, mine feels like it will fall off the book at any minute. The recipes are delicious-5 stars
Spine cracking upon opening book
Book poorly assembled. Spine of book cracking and pages rippled. Disappointed
Perfect intro into meal prep
I have a habit of collecting cookbooks and not using them. This book does not fall into that category. I've already made 5 recipes and they are all fantastic! They are all easy to make. This book is perfect for those just getting in to meal prep.
Best cookbook ever
The title is bold, but it’s true. Literally every single recipe we’ve made has been delicious. Even if it’s from a cuisine that we don’t really care for it ends up being delicious. I can’t say that about any other cookbook we’ve had before. I highly recommend.
Good addition to the Skinnytaste family
Book arrived quickly, in excellent shape. Skinnytaste cookbooks always have great recipes that are user friendly and not full of fake food products. This is no exception. But I do find the meals on this one to be a bit less simple than I want lunches to be. That's just my opinion of course.
BUY IT!
This is a great cookbook. Illustrations for almost every recipe. I'm a new fan of Skinny Taste and plan to purchase all her books!
Love it!!
It’s more than just meal prep - recipes are outlined so you can eat them then, but also have instructions for freezing/storing which is really helpful. I noticed a lot more vegan/vegetarian options in this book as well! I’ve skimmed through it, haven’t made anything yet, but her recipes never disappoint.
The Best Skinnytaste Book Yet!
I have been a Skinnytaste fan for years and honestly think this is my favorite book yet. I love how the structure gently encourages you to find your own style of meal prep. This book also has some of her best breakfast recipes yet. The Blueberry Lemon Sheetpan Pancakes are already a family favorite!
Thank you next
The recipes are amazing but the book wasn’t made properly. If you open the book the cover starts to fall apart. Both sides started to do that & I even tried super gluing it and that was a fail. All her other books are amazing & I had no problems with, I ordered 2 of these and both came just like that.
Gina's Best Yet
I have all of Gina's cookbooks and this might be the best one yet. I love the variety in cuisines and how accessible they were made for the home cook. There is a ton of helpful info about meal prep and batch cooking. Plus the photos are beautiful and there is one for every single recipe. So glad I purchased this book!
Poorly made book
The bindery did a very poor job in putting the book together it sounds like it's going to fall apart.
Great meal prep recipes
Absolutely love it. Highly recommend!
A must for food preppers!
I am so excited about this cookbook. I often get discouraged by cookbooks that I order that have a few good recipes. This is a thick book full of unique and easy recipes that my boyfriend and I can’t wait to make! It’s a great addition to my skinnytaste cookbook collection!
Buy it!
I love Ginas cookbooks! I got this in the mail yesterday and started writing down recipes I wanted to make and the list was so long! As someone who loves to cook and is a busy working mom, these skinnytaste cookbooks are just the best. Also highly recommend her One and Done cookbook.
Great cookbook but binding breaks immediately
Love this cookbook and gifted it to a family member for Christmas. The binding broke immediately. I returned it to Amazon and had a replacement sent but the same thing happened. Unfortunately, I will not try to replace it again through Amazon and will go to a book store to select the book on my own.
Really good for beginner meal prep
We haven't come across a bad recipe in here yet! This is an amazing cookbook for beginner meal preping!
Good recipes

I did not think this was a good fit for me.
I will be returning this cookbook.

Good information, poor quality binding
The binding is coming apart. It’s a nice book, but you order the hardcover version because you’d like to keep it for a long time. This binding WILL fail.

The recipes all look delicious and the photographs are beautiful. I have flagged so many of the recipes to try, but have already cooked 2 recipes and just got the book 3 days ago! Can’t wait to try more!
Simple but perfect
Love the simplicity of the book
The title is misleading
If you look at the fat and sugar content of the recipes, this cookbook is not healthy at all. Very disappointed.
