You'd think that basically being in charge of love would be an epic job, right? Wrong. Sure, I can blow some Lust into people's faces and watch the show, but I can't actually participate. It gets old, trust me. Same goes for love. I can pass it out like sugar-free lollipops at a dentist's office, but I can't get any love for myself. It totally sucks.

I used to consider myself a hopeless romantic, so why wouldn't I choose to become a cupid? Sounds like a good idea, right? Wrong again. They don't call us stupid cupids for nothing. I'm stuck in this never-ending afterlife where I'm invisible, lonely, and bitter as hell. And yeah, I'm probably responsible for some terrible matchmaking out there. Sorry, not sorry.

All my bad cupid'ing might be why I was exiled from the human realm. You can only do so much before the cupid bosses get all huffy. Unfortunately, my bitterness carried over into the new realm, and then I attacked a fae prince with Love Arrows. Accidentally. Okay, not accidentally. But hey, he deserved it. What I didn't expect was for him to retaliate and hit my ass with some crazy magic mojo strong enough to push me into the physical realm. Whoa.

That's right. This cupid just got a real body. And you know what that means...Now, it's my turn to get some. Love, I mean. Get your head out of the gutter. Wink, wink bitches.

Author's Note: This is a medium-burn reverse harem story. It includes explicit language and sexual situations. Intended for audiences 18 years and older. As this is a series, there will be a cliffhanger.

Four Psychos rip off starring Cupid

Idk how I should feel about this book... granted I am only 37% done with it, and yes the concept is new (cupid thrown into a far world)... but the blatant rip off of character personality, phrases, and full on scenes from a certain Dark Side series is ridiculously obvious.. So... what do I say? Do I like the book so far.. yes, but do i like it bc it stands on it's own well (eh..) or bc it is almost identical to Four Psychos and I'm itching for the final book in THAT series and well.... why not read the rip off to alleviate the itch? (Most likely) If I were C.M... er, Kristy Cunning... I would be a tad... what shall we call it.. flattered? Irritated? Confused?... idk.

4.5 Stars!

Really wish Amazon allowed you to give half stars! I will begin by saying that I am not a fan of these harem / reverse harem novels. The inner workings of my mind tell me that these just don't work out or make any sense. Too many gaps to allow an author to have one ditzy and poorly written main female character with a whole bunch of alpha males jockeying for possession of her heart. Too much fluff and not enough meat on the bones of the book. However... I caved for this novel. What caught my eye was the astoundingly earned 5 star average. Sounded to good to be true but I took the bait. And boy did I like this one. The author introduced us into a fantasy world with a character that is genuinely funny, amusing, sweet, and sensible (most of the time). She is a bit shallow but it is believable as she hasn't had human to human interaction for quite some years. She's a lone unicorn in the vast and empty world of hers. But then the author swirls you down into a vortex into ANOTHER fantasy world that fits right into the original setting. A fantasy world setting into another fantasy world setting. Enter in the 3 main male companions to our main character. This is where I almost cringed but I told myself, just keep reading. We got this far and the journey thus has been good. All 3 of the covey members have distinct personalities that shape themselves as individuals as you read through this novel. No cookie cutting here. It's very believable and their witty banter exchanged between them adds depth. The author has done a fantastic job of bringing together 3 alpha males that are different in looks and personality. This could have gone sideways real quick. The plot developed through this story leaves you wanting more. As you read on and find out more, you can't help but fall for all the characters, flaws and all. If you are iffy like I was about diving into the realm of reverse harem's, I think this is a great book to pick up and read. The main character does have a lot of silly inner monologues so if you take issue with that in novels then download a sample of the book as it gives you a good enough idea of what to expect. If you like all sorts of alpha male characteristics and some loving ones as well, you will absolutely fall in love with the 3. I've already purchased the 2nd novel and I am making my way through it : ) Edit: Someone left a review stating this is a ripoff of the Four Psychos Novel. I purchased that book, read a bit, and promptly returned it. I have also left a review there with more information as to why I hastily returned that trash.

LOVED IT

Wow! I totally loved this book!!! I was super interested after I read the blurb, and I was hooked right away! The FMC is so awesome and such a loveable character. She is adorable, funny, sweet, and sassy! I would definitely want to be her friend. It’s sometimes rare to find a FMC that is so likeable and doesn’t really have any annoying traits, but this Raven Kennedy did that in this book. I loved the dynamics between her and the guys, as well as the differences between each of the guys. The storyline was interesting and kept me hooked the whole time I read. I finished it so fast and am already itching for the next book. If you like Four Psychos and Curse of the Gods, you’ll also love this book! Honestly if you like any fantasy RH, you’ll like this book. Highly recommend!

I would recommend Signs of Cupidity in a Love-Arrowed-Heartbeat

Took a chance on this book based on its gorgeous cover & the preview chapters. Read it cover to cover in a day, couldn’t put it down. I think Emelle might be one of my top favorite leading ladies of all time. Raven Kennedy’s writing style and humor are so appealing and the twists and turns of the story were unpredictable and compelling. I’ve just purchased book two and will be sure to review it if it’s as good as book one. Excited to recommend this book to my friends, and the bar for that list is set very high, with Jennifer Armentrout, Nalini Singh, Laini Taylor, Stephenie Meyer and a few select others making the list. Raven Kennedy fits right in and is probably the first on the list that has such a funny, witty flavour at its core. Welcome to the list Raven. On to book two!!!...

Itching for book 2

I wasn't sure to begin with honestly while I read the sample and loved the female main character I am never certain until I read meet the male main characters as well... BUT after being told how amazing this book was through a FB group (which I dearly love) I decided to risk it. SO GLAD I DID!!!!!! I may have read through the night.... you know when a book is so good you cannot bare to put it down? AND THEN STALKED THE AUTHOR FOR ANOTHER HOUR ANOTHER AFTERWARDS. -That's kinda normal right? Itching for book 2! Great Fantasy RH. Highly recommend!

So what about Not-First? I'm in it for Third!

ML has been a cupid for 59 years and it's a boooooooring life. Lonely too. No one can hear or see cupids. They're invisible. Masters of Voyeurism. But that's about it. Yanked from the human realm to oversee the fae realm (hello promotion! cha-ching! oh wait...she doesn't get paid), things look pretty good. One prince, one princess...marriage...blah blah blah hearts and flowers *tosses confetti*. Until good ol' ML is pushed too far and anger does not suit a cupid. No sir-ee. No good deed goes unpunished, right? So when ML finds herself suddenly visible and desperate to be anywhere but here, she ends up on an island with three hot guys. Suddenly she has to make some priorities. Including downgrading one to Not-First. My vote is on Third. ;) ---- Raven is clearly in her element with this book. I found only a few errors/typos and I think that says a lot! This is definitely a slow-burn Reverse Harem. Which I dig (sign me up to be sandwich meat!). She's got a good grip on cliffhangers on every chapter end and if not for work, I'd have continued to tear through this book as fast as my little eyes could read! Emelle has got sass and a mouth that says everything I'm thinking (thank goodness someone does). I can't wait to read the other two books. Super addictive writing. Now, I'll be fair. For all my praise, one thing irked me - the ending! I felt like the book suddenly ended when she felt there were enough chapters but right before the big climax part! To be honest, that just doesn't sit well with me. Lucky for the author, I'm super curious and curiosity always wins out. Dear Raven, That kiss at the end made up for you cutting it short. Barely. Sincerely, The Girl Who Imagines She's Emelle Just For That One Part

Signs of Novelty

A new world and new author for me. I’m so excited! Meet Emelle: A sappy, sharp-shooting, loyal Cupid with a bitterness towards romance born from her own lonely existence. That is, until the day she’s zapped into the physical realm by a wrathful, cheating fae Prince. Emelle takes a nasty free-fall onto an island inhabited solely by 3 banished Genfins who are instantly distrustful of the foreign creature who fell into their home and surpassed the magical barriers meant to keep outsiders on the outside. It will take a lot more than Emelle’s quick wit and innocent personality to sway these 3 ‘criminals’ to her side, but Emelle is more than down for the challenge. Emelle is an endearing mixture of innocent and worldly. She has been all over the human world on her purpose to bring love to those she watches over, but over the years, her loneliness and jealousy at having to watch what she cannot have has made her a bit apathetic to seeing others’ happiness. She is more than ready to see what all this romance business is truly about, and she won’t let 3 moody and distrustful Genfins spoil her once-in-an-afterlife-time opportunity! I would definitely recommend this unique and inspired RH series for those looking for something new and easy to read.

Hilarious RH. Fun Read

5 Stars Overall Rating ★★★★★ Plot ★★★★★ Humor ★★★★★ Characters & Character Development ★★★★★ Narration ★★★★★ Story: Characters - Emelle, Sylred, Evert, Ronak... It's very rare that I give any book 5 stars. I can't say there's anything that I did not enjoy about this book. I felt like the characters were original and believable. I enjoyed the plot and the dialogue between the characters. I enjoyed the flirty moments between the characters. This book was hilarious. Some say it reminds them of Curse of the Gods but aside from a life force bond, that's really all that was similar to me. I also found a similarity with The Dark Side because Emelle had to learn how to be in the physical world. That was extremely interesting to see because you don't know what all these feelings are since you've never been able to feel anything. I really can't wait to see what happens next. This was overall just a fun book to read. If you love to laugh and you love Reverse Harem, definitely read this one. Even though there was no sex in this book, it had everything that I needed. This book set the foundation and I hope there will be sex in the next book. Narration: Melissa Schwairy - I absolutely loved this narrator. I cannot wait to see what she narrates next and I can't wait to hear the 2nd book of this series.

Must Read RH!

I'm in love!! It's exactly what I needed while trying not to have a nervous breakdown with all of this terrible weather that's freezing my pipes! 😂 I laughed or had a smile on my face the entire time I read it! The characters are perfection! I adore the heroine and all three heroes on so many levels! 😍 Their banter is everything! The whole scenario going on makes the story hilarious, entertaining, adorable, and so much fun! I honestly can't think of a single thing that I didn't enjoy, but brace yourselves...... There isn't any sex in this one. It's definitely going down in the next one though, and the way the story is written made me not miss it too much. 😱 I know! I can't believe I said that sh!t either. 🤣 I wanted it to happen, but it made sense that it would happen in the next installment instead. When it does, I know it's going to be hot af with those guys! 🔥 I'm going to jump straight into Bonds of Cupidity soon which is probably another reason I'm not as concerned with that particular aspect. Lol I've got nothing to do but worry and wait! This author is helping me through a stressful time, and I'm so thankful. 🙌🏼 Paranormal RH fans, this one's for you!

So Done!

I have read one other book by this author and I seriously wish I would have read this sooner. This book was recommended to me and I loved it. Emelle's sense of humor does crack me up and she is fed up with people taking love for granted. She has been a cupid for decades and is just plain done. She watches humans time and time again piss away all the love she dishes out to them so they can have their happily ever after, not to mention she becomes lonely with no one to talk to or experience touch. She can't experience the joy of smell or taste since she can't eat and most of all no sex. She finally becomes so jaded that she gets called into the big wigs office and is given another chance before she goes "poof" and becomes non-existant. Emelle is sent to the fae realm where now she has to spread love and keep her cupid wings. She sets her heart on making a love match with the Prince and Princess of the fae realm and things couldn't go more wrong for her. This is book one of three (well there is a special V day book spin off to this series) but I love her sense of humor, the way she rambles and how she so desperately wants what we all take for granted.

Amazing

Such a unique and creative story about a Cupid and the Fae realm. I haven’t read very many series involving Cupid so this was refreshing to read. Everything about the storyline and plot is unique. It was a little slow of a start for me and I really didn’t get sucked in until about the 5th chapter. After that, I couldn’t put the book down. I am anxious to see what happens with the culling and the douche bag Fae Prince. I hope we see more of the Princess too because my heart really broke for her. Emelle was a fun character to read especially from her POV. She’s snarky, funny, and seductive when she needs to be. Her social skills and her experiences with real life situations had me laughing multiple times throughout this book. The sexual tension between her and the 3 genfin she is hiding out with is through the roof. I can’t wait for the heat to ramp up as the series continues because I know it will be hot AF! The 3 men she is stuck with all have very differing personalities that definitely stands out among each other so there wasn’t any issue with confusing the characters. The author has definitely taken a lot of time to really convey her ideas into the pages and it has worked out wonderfully. Everything is detailed and there seems to be no continuity errors. I am glad I started this series when it was completed because now I don’t have to wait 😁😁

Super similar to four psychos

This book is almost identical to Four Psychos..how the main characters her internal dialogue with herself and the boys. How she was basically non existent and no one could touch or feel her. I made it to 50% and I'm just like why am I reading a story I've already read. There are things that are different but the similarities of the story too much for me not finish it

Sassy, Fun and a Must Read

I picked this book up by a fluke, I had seen this in my recommends for a few days before I thought why not. Best decision, this book is a hilarious read, I love that it is not just a shifter or norm paranormal book. This is my first cupid book and totally worth it! I enjoyed the several dimensional concepts, and the different type of fae or characters within the book. The plot is well thought out, and enjoyable. The characters are funny, intriguing and add spicy to the story! I love Emelle’s initial hate of things love, and her plan to screw with everyone this is where the laughter started for me and pretty much continued through the book! I like her first glimpse of her guys and it does entertain me so to think of how she truly meets them for the first time. I love how their relationships build and its not an insta-attraction not everyone wants that in the book! Her nicknames for the guys and her expectations from this is funny. The guys let’s start with “Not-First” and to figure out why he is called this read the book! I can’t help but love him the most, why I guess I love his rude, short, but protective nature! Sylred is the sweet, kind, caring gent of the group, you know the one who gives comfort without thought or makes your breakfast in bed. This character is needed for the balance of the Not-First, and the overly sexual Evert! Evert, what’s not to love about this fun-loving, sexual innuendoes who just wants to have a good time! These guys truly are quite the trio and are well thought out characters, they have a multidimensional personality and balance each other for the purpose of this book. I truly love this series and is one of my go-tos for laughs! Total recommend!

It was good.

It actually took me a while to get into the book... I almost gave up and I kept putting it down. So slow, but it finally picked up. FMC has word vomit of the mouth that made me smile. You have her harem of 3 men... of course one is a jerk... I mean, you gotta have a jerk, right? One is the smoldering yummy one of the group and then you have the nice guy. All around nice harem. I bought book two though.

A little story about a stupid Cupid

Or, I should say an amazing and well-written story. This is a reverse harem romance. Emelle's is our heroine. She's clumsy, ridiculous, but still so loveable. Her antics are hilarious. The character development is wonderful. All her guys are distinct. The storyline is interesting. And all in all its just a wonderful series with lots of re-read value. It's the type of book that sucks you in. Some people compared this book to Kristy Cunning's books, but the only real similarity is a ridiculous heroine, who likes to eat, had been invisible, so wants all the touchings and doings. The storyline and other characters are different. Plus, just because a book is similar doesn't mean that it isn't a great read. There's so many adaptations of the fairytale. I've read both and enjoyed both and would recommend both.

Absolutely amazing

This book is so good I almost have no words. Almost. Emelle is so beyond loveable, that I can’t decide if I want her or want to be her. A bit of both probably. I’ve never related to a MC more than her, she’s me. I’m her. It me. Raven Kennedy wrote a truly witty, hilarious book here. I have never laughed so much during a book ever. It’s in my top 3 of most favorite books ever read. Such a unique and clever idea. And then Emelle’s men, ugh swoon. I definitely cannot get enough of them. I usually have a favorite one every book, but in this I loved ALL of them and I definitely can’t just pick one. They are all my book boyfriends, end of story. 10 stars, not even just 5. I recommed it to every single person I know/talk to and I hope the series never ends.

Unexpectedly Awesome

This book has a story unlike any other I have read. For being a story about someone who causes people to have sex all the time, the poor Cupid doesn't get much, but I think it worked well with the story. I have never read a book about a Cupid before and found it very entertaining. Definitely recommend to anyone bored of reading about werewolves and vampires or any other magical creatures because this hit the spot for me. Also, the main character was rightfully built in the way of background and personality, which is uncommon in a lot of reverse harems. Overall, great book, I'm definitely buying the next book!

Hilarious

I hardly ever write reviews but this book was awesome! On a scale of one to 5 this is a 10. I actually read this on kindle unlimited and loved it so much I HAD to buy. I haven't bought a book in over a year and a half that's how much I love it. The characters and story line were refreshing and original and the humor! I haven't laughed this hard in ages from a book. I can't wait for the 2nd one to come out. This author is amazing!

Book 1 is the highest note...look no further.

I waffled between a 2 and 3 but ultimately decided the issues with the book prevent me from saying it's above the 50% mark. Story concept is interesting and unique - enough so that I read the entire trilogy and short story - but the story is very messy and so is how the protagonist is portrayed. (It gets even worse after book one. By the end of the series, I was just annoyed and glad to be done.) There are some incredible questions raised by the story's premise, and one of the things that drives me crazy is that they're completely ignored. You can tell a good steamy romance without giving up a complex setting. Sadly, the author declined to do so here. For example (and this is introduced quickly so I'm not a spoiler): the protagonist became a cupid after death. Ergo, who was she before? What effect does that have on her now? Why does she still see death in the same way when clearly there's an afterlife? And many others that would be spoilers to include here. Questions that are worth asking. If you can get over the gaping holes and a flighty protagonist - both literally and figuratively - consider this book. Otherwise give it a skip and don't look back.

Love with funny twists

So I was a little apprehensive about reading this book since another commenter said it was a rip off of the Four Psychos series. After reading the book, yes there are a couple similarities in personality for the main character, but honestly the story, plot and the love interests I feel are so different that I have to disagree about the whole rip off thing. The love interests are nothing like they are in four psychos and honestly I feel like even the main character, while similar, is completely different. I love the concept of the books, the world that the author has built and the unexpectedly funny moments. I was seriously cracking up on some parts in this series. Overall I think I actually liked this series more than the four psychos series (sorry! I still love that series too) and I can't wait to read more from this author!

Cupid, draw back your bow and let your arrow(s) fly

I loved this book so hard! I wish I could give more than just five stars. This is one of the funniest main characters that I have ever read. Emelle is super awesome. The guys are all different but they make the story so, so good. I laughed so much and so loud that I couldn't read this in public. This is the third time reading this book, and it won't be the last. Sending all my love (arrows) to Emelle and the covey.

I’ve fallen for this Cupid!

I listened to this on Audible not realizing I already owned the ebook! This was seriously an AWESOME book! Emmel was fun, snarky, and gave zero crap! She was always throwing herself at whatever and hoping for the best! Can’t say I blame her being burnt out on distributing love for decade after decade just to watch it blow up in your face. Going to the Fae realm she thinks she’s found her redeeming couple when a jerky Fae Prince ruins everything. After becoming a real girl she meets 3 of the most amazing and biggest jerk face Fae ever. They bring her to life in more ways than one! The story was way different than anything I’ve read in awhile and I absolutely could not wait for book 2! I highly suggest the read! It was seriously amazing!

Loved this book!!!

I loveeee Emelle and Evert and Ronak and Sylred!!! This book is so different than any other reverse harem book out there! I love that she’s Cupid, and I love that she’s able to be corporeal to meet that covey! She’s definitely found herself in a problem at the end, but I know she’ll be able to make it through! I wonder what other shenanigans she can get into next! Excited to read the next book: Bonds of Cupidity!!! I absolutely loved this book!

A Laugh Out of Your Seat Experience!

OMG! This book was beyond funny. I laugh so hard at one point that I really did fall out of my seat. Thank goodness I was home and no one saw me lol. I loved the characters and the world that Raven Kennedy put you through. It's worth the read. I loved it so much that after I read it on Kindle Unlimited that I just had to have the physical copy too, in order to add to my Library at home. And I only do this to books that I just fell in love with (just to give you an idea of how much I love this book)

Page turner! Awesome!

This is a slow burn with sparkles! I loved the snarky main character and her hunky brood of men and can't wait for the second book in the series-which I had to buy in a moment of sheer book lust. I didn't mind this book was all from the female's POV. You got to hear her witty banter and the guys from her eyes. LOVED! More please. Cupids are unique and totally amazeballs.

Sucks You In!

This was fantastic! Raven Kennedy's balance of humor, steam, and world building was excellent in this book. The story sucked you in and the humor and characters kept you turning pages. It does have a slight cliffhanger so I'd suggest just going in planning to read the next book in the series.

SO GOOD

If you're questioning purchasing this book, don't. Just do it. You will not regret it. Being inside Emelle's head is beyond entertaining. I couldn't put this book down and I laughed almost the whole way through. The chemistry between her and her men is off the charts and the relationships she has with each of them is so different from each other. 10\10 would recommend.

You'll laugh, cry, and fall in love. Oaky, well maybe, sorta. Alot

Honestly I bought this book by accident. Now having said that I'm now a huge fan of cupid's and raven Kennedy. This book was amazing and pulled me in right away. Making me laugh way to much and also wonder if raven knows me personally because I have way to much in common with emelle. But if you had to pick a cupid series to read it would be this one I cant get enough of the books or the characters.

Seriously HILARIOUS!

One of my favorites!! Emelle CRACKED me up throughout this whole book. I love her strong sense of self and knowing who she is and what she wants. She loves deeply and fights for what she wants and those she loves. I floved all the characters introduced the men are the perfect compliment to her and each other. I'm so excited to see what happens in this series.

Love it!!!!

I love this book. It's a whole new spin on Cupid. I laughed my butt of during the whole book. Our Cupid's thought process is hilarious. When she gets in trouble with her superiors she is exiled. Well, let's just say that she creates lots of drama in the new realm and meets hot dudes. I highly recommend this series as well as the authors other books.

What a wonderful book!

This book was fun, exciting and full of adventure. I absolutely loved it, the characters are loveable and grumpy, the female lead is just delightful, and the males are a perfect blend of arrogance and sweetness. This book is definitely a slow burn, but the playfulness and innuendos definitely make up for it. I loved this book can't wait to read the next one.

I was hooked!

I loved this book! I was sucked right in with this funny and lovable character. Although I do have to say this is EXTREMELY reminiscent of Kristy Cunning's The Dark Side series. If you liked that series though, you will love this series. This author is DEFINITELY on my watch list! And don't worry about a cliff hanger with this one, the second book is already out!

Light hearted

This is a pretty light hearted fun read. The world building and characters are amazingly realistic. There are moments that I laughed out loud thinking about a similar experience I have had. It’s simply wonderful how the author was able to weave the realism into the fantasy of the world of a Cupid thrown out of her comfort zone.

Sooo Goood

When I started this book I got so swallowed up by all it's awesomeness that I didn't even realize how fast it was going by. Everett is totally going into my book boyfriend collection too. This is absolutely hands down soul thirsting goodness and the laughs are unbelievable. ML is boss B****. Can I have a covey?😉

Hot damn, Cupid!

I. HAVE. NEVER. LAUGHED. SO. HARD. AT. A BOOK!!! I cannot express the enormity of the divine character building, storyline, and the unforgettable plot! Absolutely, without a doubt, one of the BEST RH series I’ve ever read. This has definitely been bumped into my top five RH series of all time. Go find out for yourself!

I bought the book for the cover

I seriously bought this book bc I loved the cover. I'm so glad that I did. The story moves quickly. I never felt like it was just dragging on. I loved ML from the beginning and the guys just won me over immediately. I cant wait to see where she takes this story. Fingers crossed that the next book is as good as the first.

Great Read!!

This book has a great story. I love how each character has their own uniqueness to them. It makes the story come alive when the author create such diverse characters. Their quirky comebacks make it hard to put down as well as the story line. I literally stayed up late and had to force myself to put it down. This is definitely a great read!!

Sassy, Flirty and Fun!

I love Mc Emelle, she is a great mix of sassy, flirty and fun, she is both innocent and savvy. Some RH slow burns are predictable and angsty this was a fun deviation from that norm. Love the warm and fuzzy times with her guys and love the sassy, snarky, funny and flirty banter between them all! I read this book in one session I was so involved. Can't wait for the next one.

Cupid

I loved the edgy Cupid that not just has to do with love but all of it. They have tempers and are burned out by how false and flaky love truly is. Then at the island all the different aspects of our little Cupid becoming stronger and learning so much. I am going to read the next one defiantly.

Really enjoyed this book from start to finish.

This was a refreshing and fun read. Loved loved the heroine. Lots of lol moments. Hot fellas. I was hooked from the first page.

Cute story with laugh out loud moments

I really liked this book, it was very funny in parts (laughing out loud whilst I'm at my desk and supposedly working was a side-effect). Things developed naturally and the world building was really good. The characters were believable and pretty consistent which is always nice to read. Would recommend this to anyone who's looking for something much lighter to read and wants a few laughs.

So Good!

I devoured book one and was into book two in less than a day. This series is amazing and it's so hard to wait for more. This book was very filled with one woman's babbling nervously, or as she herself called it as "word vomit". You shouldn't be disappointed with this series. It's hilarious!

Amazing!

This was an awesome start to the series! Emelle has a way that she sucks you in and makes you laugh out loud with her commentary. Of course the guys aren't bad to read about either and I like how each one is a little bit different. You should definitely give this book a chance, it is pretty amazing!

Hilarious and tense

WORTH IT!! the author was kind enough to put the first book on sale for valentine's day! I'm so happy that I was lucky enough to catch her post on facebook! The beginning is slow, and at first I was skeptical, but despite the slow beginning her writing is spot on. However when the action starts going, it's so full of comedy and tension! I'm so ready for the second book.

I’m hooked

Signs of Cupidity brought me in right away. I fell in love with Emelles personality because she is so relatable. Clumsy, awkward, can’t keep her mouth shut...all things that make her endearing. Ronak, Evert and Sylred have such different personalities yet they work seamlessly together. I can’t wait to find out what happens with the genfins!

Funny, sarcastic, refreshing read.

I love the main character and her wonderful sass. After spending decades being invisible to everyone she get push in to the fae realm where some unexpected turn of events happen to cause her to land on an island of prisoners. Will they become friends or treat like an enemy till they are released by the king?

Emelle is my spirit animal!

I literally laughed and laughed and laughed! Emelle is witty and snarky and everything inbetween. You can't help but love her and want her to get the love she's looking for (and hopefully found). Book 2 here I COME!

Hilarious But...

This writer is hilarious kept me laughing...up till the end of book 2 and I got annoyed with the heroine... Talk about scatter head...so the series is built around her incredible lack of focus. Discovered this isn't my style.

Laugh out laud funny with a heart

I thoroughly enjoyed the crap out of this book and was laugh-crying through a lot of this cupid’s antics. This book has such a refreshing and honest humor. The things that come out of the main character’s mouth is what we all are thinking but wouldn’t say out laud most of the time. Well written and a great new story. Cannot recommend this enough!

Read this one with a smile

I freaking loved this book. It reminded me of Curse of the Gods and The Dark Side RH but it was still unique. ML is funny AF and I read this whole book either with a smile or laughing out loud.

Amazing

OMG. I absolutely loved this book!! Hooked me in right from the beginning. I love hour Emelle is strong from the beginning and her humor is hilarious!! I love each of the guys. I couldn't get enough. Can't wait for the next one

Amazing!!!

I absolutely loved this book! The characters are amazing! The mc is hilarious and the story/plot leaves me wanting to know more in a good way this has become an all time favorite of mine!

Great series

This is a great book. I read another review that indicated it was a knockoff, but it isn't. The premise is similar but that's about it. The book is fun, interesting, and has good character development.

One word AWESOME!!!!!

This book did not disappoint at all. The humor, the characters the story everything is great... I've read the entire series now several times and still love it each and every time..

Such a fun great read

This series is funny and smoking hot. I love the sense of humor in these books. It makes you want a man with a tail.

Slow start, but amazing

This book started off slow. To be honest, I listened to the first 30% on audible (and the narrator did not do Emmel justice at all). However, either because the book picked up, or because I was reading it, I got pulled in and loved it. Happy that book 2 is out

Killer series!

Such an amazing FMC! Love this book and this entire series, a must read for sure!

Great series

This book is hysterical! I love 1050!! The world building is amazing and I love her version of fae. I loved the characters and the writing style. Awesome book! Can't wait for more!!!

Unexpectedly good.

When I read the premise...I was unsure- but once I took the plunge and started this hidden gem I really changed my mind. Can't wait to read what's next.

FUN SASSY and that HAIR

I loved this book. The main female character is fun and sassy and is easy to relate to. I am so intrigued by these 3 men and where this story is going to lead.

Hilarious

Is the best way to describe this book. There’s a lot of sexual buildup and tons of world building. Can’t wait to start the next book.

this was an Lol hot read

Everything was good..the plot flowed exceptionally...the humour and how it was presented had me laughing throughout the entire read. Grt!!

Hilarious

This is a must read. Will make you laugh out loud.... a lot. Definitely recommend. Love emmelle she is one of the funniest fmc I have read in awhile.

A unique story

A really sweet slow burn RH story. Who knew following along with a cupid was this much fun. If you need something that makes you go all warm and happy inside this a book for you.

Loved it!

It's true that it reminds me of another series but I realy like the premise of this story. I love every single character. Can't wait to read more!

Signs of cupidity review

I enjoyed this book and laughed a lot. Very original characters. Looking forward to book #2. Keep up the good, irreverent work! Lots of fun.

Cool read

This was hilarious and totally different than I was expecting; not quite sure why I feel that way since the description was pretty spot on. Technically the series is RH (I think), but none of that happens in this book and mostly amounts to flirting and innuendos.

Laugh Worthy Read

This novel had me laughing, cringing, and rooting for the underdog all the way through. I loved it so much I'm already off to book 2!

Awesome Read

Loved every minute of this book! Creative, funny, pure pleasure....a great book vacation. Thank you so much! Off to read #2!

Loved it

Loved the story!! Sex scenes and plot were riveting and drew me in to the point that I was saying the dialogue out loud! Can’t wait to read more!

Yes!

This book is amazing!!!

Amazingly captivating and a great read

I loved every second of this book, so glad to be able to encounter such a fun filled fantasy. Incredible!

Fun and something I havent read before.

The book was great and new, the character made me mad sometimes so I gave it 4 stars instead of five.

Amazeballs!

This book is amazingly brilliant! I absolutely love the concept and the play on words throughout the book. Emelle is hilarious and her three guys are very entertaining. I love how she tries so hard to get out of training with Not-first. I didn't want this book to end. Now I have to wait to find out what happens with their trials. Sigh. This is a great first book in this series. Enjoy! 💙💛💚💜

Good but way too many similarities to four psychos.

Overall worth the read but there are A LOT of similarities to the book four psychos. I did still enjoy reading it and I will definitely read the next book as well.

Cute, with the added touch of a funny lead female

"When I died, I was this innocent, naive, hopelessly romantic girl." This one sentence explains how ML became a Cupid. Yes, the arrow-wielding, love-bringing servant of Eros. This particular Cupid has beautiful red feathered wings, long pink hair, and a pretty silver dress. She's also lost her love for her job. It's a painful job. No one can see her so obviously she can't be touched or talked to. She has to watch others find and lose love without ever experiencing it herself. She's lonely. And she' not a very good Cupid, so she's removed from the human realm and reassigned to the fae. When she loses her temper and attacks the fae prince, he hits her with magic that turns her into a solid being. A being that he is after. Barely escaping ML ends up on an island with three exiled men. Huge, handsome, gloriously sexy men. Men who believe she is the enemy. Signs of Cupidity is a cute, fantasy RH. Several of the basic details seem 'borrowed' from The Dark Side but it does find it's way and become more original as it progresses. ML is funny. She earned the story an extra star for the humor she added. Her internal running monologue, her challenges in the physical world, and her lack of a filter when speaking to real people made her an entertaining lead for me. The men didn't impress me at the beginning but they are starting to grow on me. Ronak (Strength), Sylred (Tune), and Evert (Stitches) Ronak plays the role of the suspicious leader. He's abrasive, hateful, and mean but he has a few redeeming moments. Sylred is the peacemaker and the nice one. He's a bit weak for my tastes. Evert is the over the top flirt with regular sexual innuendos. Ronak and Evert have major tension between them stemming from the reason the men are in exile awaiting their trials. I'm not sure why this is called medium burn. There is no relationship established in this first book. Sexual innuendos, teasing, and taunting but rules are established from the beginning so there is no possibility of a relationship other than co-existing and friendship. Sexual tension exists but there are reasons it's not acted on and other than protective concern and a general fondness for her the guys didn't seem much attached to ML. They were single-minded on their goals. Sure, I know where it's going to go but no steps were taken in this first book. Honestly, I am going to need to see so much more of a connection develop before I believe in or support ML with these guys. Their behavior, their backstory, and their covey ambitions have not painted them as the best guys for her. And poor ML is so starved for her own love, she won't be selective enough or demanding enough of any guys. I was more intrigued by the brief encounter she had on the other island. Hopefully, the next book will change my mind on this covey/future harem. I do look forward to the next book. I felt by the end, Raven Kennedy had found her own voice. I am eager to see what she does with it and where the story goes next.

Wow...

"ML" is a "cupid," working invisibly in the afterlife to spread love and lust with her "flirt-touches" and love arrows to unsuspecting humans. It's a depressing, thankless job, and she can't even complain about the day-to-day drudgery of it to anyone because no one can ever see her or hear her. Not even the other cupids--not that she can see them either. All of this changes when ML attacks an a-hole fae prince with her love arrows and he fights back with a magical blast somehow makes her corporal. I almost gave up within the first chapter. The writing wasn't that great, and the humor and main character didn't really impress me; as a result, I found it difficult to get into. I'm not sure why I kept reading, but I guess I'm glad I did because it got a lot more interesting after ML got sent to the fae realm. This story's biggest strength is that for a "reverse harem" story the romance actually does manage to be a "slow-burn" one (I would've quit reading otherwise). There's no sex in this first book, but believe it or not, a plot eventually develops. I felt the humor and characters actually got a little better as the book went on too, but the writing's often too juvenile for my tastes. I'm giving it 2.5 stars because the story feels a bit shallow at times, the author isn't as funny as she thinks she is, and the ending is weak (it's not a *real* ending). I wouldn't call it a cliffhanger exactly, but this is one of those stories that's obviously going to be stretched and doled out like a series. My only problem with that is that it's not being doled out quickly and it's going to need more character and world-building to keep me interested (plus the writing is pretty bad). I'm on the 2nd book and while it started out strong, it's definitely still suffering from occasional bouts of shallowness that have had me switching to something else to read. BTW, the audio version is okay. The narrator isn't the best, but neither is she annoying, which is good enough for me. Update: i lowered my rating from 3 stars to 1 because I just read "Four Psychos" by Kristy Cunning and now I understand what all the other reviewers are talking about! This author has SHAMELESSLY ripped Cunning off. It's not even a good rip-off! Skip this stupid cupid BS and read Four Psychos instead (it's WAY better written and the humor is actually funny!).

Couldn’t put it down...SERIOUSLY!!!

What a great book just in time for Valentines Day! Which was the main reason why I wanted to read it. I needed a good Valentine’s Day Romance and when I typed that into the search engine of the Kindle App, this was one of the books that showed up. Imagine my excitement when I found out it’s a four book series and a RH! I absolutely loved this book! It was addicting from the first sassy comment that came out of the main character mouth. And her attitude starts early in the book. Love it! ML is the main character and she starts as being Cupid in the human world. She wanted to be Cupid to spread love and happiness but humans had let her down with the cheating and betrayal that some humans have a tendency to do. ML is invisible and has no physical contact with anyone or anything and shoots love arrows and uses her magic to help people fall in love who already have a spark to work from. However, she is then cast out of the human world and into a world with faes (name of land is lost on me at the moment). There she is assigned to be Cupid of that place and she ends up making it her mission to strengthen the love between the prince and his betrothed on this world/land. Some stuff happens that I won’t give away and then ML is cast out of her invisible state and into the physical world. There, in the physical world, she leaves the prince and his betrothed and stumbles upon three delicious men that turn her world upside down. ML can now do the things she has been yearning for. She can now eat delicious food, see her reflection, experience feelings that she never experienced like pain. But the most important is that ML can now touch and feel and be felt in return. Maybe she can even fall in love. (Please keep in mind this is the way that I remember the book and I obviously left out parts to not give away parts of the book. I hope my review helps you make a good choice. You won’t be sorry). I loved this book. I highly recommend. A new favorite author of mine. Bravo Raven Kennedy. There was NOTHING about this book I didn’t like. Seriously. It was amazing!

I hate to do this...

I hate to have to give 1 star but honestly I didn't know much about the author when I started reading this book just grabbed it from KU because It sounded like a good read. So I start reading it it just really starts to feel very familiar to a series I have read before I was enjoying the book so really didn't think much of it I just figured it was the same author as the last series and she was just using similar characteristics for her characters. So imagine my surprise when I actually take the time to go through all my past check outs on KU and find those books and find that she did in fact NOT WRITE THEM.... No she ripped off Kristy Cunning's The Dark Side Series. I'm tell you the books are so much alike I really thought the same person wrote them I never thought someone would rip off someone else work like that

Heart Hassle Book One

Heart Hassle Book One. ML has been a cupid for the past several decades and hasn't been able to touch, smell or interact in any way with the corporeal world since her initial death. Now she is being transferred from the human realm to the fae realm. After watching the fae prince completely destroying the idea of love by cheating on his new wife with every woman available, ML throws every love arrow she has at him. However, her bombardment backfires when the prince lashes back and knocks her out of the veil. ML lands on an island with three fae who think she is there to spy on, or hurt, them. After being treated dreadfully, ML is about to give up, but an attack forces the three to reconsider her motives. If you're looking for a link between the fae and love, this is the book for you. *The Author's Note on this book must be meant for the series as a whole, because this book does not contain any intimate contact. 🎧AudiobookObsession

Verges on being a knockoff of another series, but still very entertaining

I legitimately enjoyed this book and smiled almost all the way through it. That said, I had to take a star off this rating because I can’t really avoid talking about the super obvious similarities between this and The Dark Side series by Kristy Kunning, which I loved also: • The MC is incorporeal and cannot interact with anything or anyone—leading to loneliness, horniness, and hilarious internal (and external) dialogue • The MC numbers the men in her harem before she learns their names and changes the ranking to reflect whom her current favorite is • The men think that their enemy sent the MC to destroy/weaken them before their super mysterious Challenge™, leading to harsh treatment from the men and hurt feelings on the part of the MC The main difference between the characters in these books is that, in Four Psychos, the MC depends on her men for her corporeality and she cannot have any men other than them, though they can have other women. Or so we thought. I was all set to argue that, yeah, the other similarities are obvious but the relationship dynamics are completely different because of the MC’s lack of dependency in that sense in this book, and then we learn at the end that she is in fact dependent on her men in pretty much the same way. So that was a bit of a bummer. This really is Four Psychos with less psychosis and apocalypses and more fae and cupids. That said, I really did enjoy this. I just could not stop smiling at the MC, particularly her brief fascination with the king’s knees. It makes sense that she would fixate on odd things after getting a body for the first time, but this took place while she was still incorporeal, so it kind of went to show that she’s an odd duck in either form. Sometimes authors go too far when they try to make quirky characters, but I thought the author did a good job here. Aside from the above listed similarities to another series, my only other major complaint is that it is briefly mentioned when the MC meets the men that one hates the other, but then their interactions seem fairly tame with just some bickering here and there, so I completely forgot that they were supposed to hate each other until it suddenly becomes a big issue 67% of the way into the book. If it was going to be a fairly major plot point, then the author should have done a better job of continuously showing that tension as actual hatred. I also had a few nitpicky complaints. For example, the beginning of the book (2% in) describes the MC as sitting at a bar and then goes on to explain that she can’t interact with the physical world at all. This was confusing, and the author didn’t clarify that the MC wasn’t really sitting until 7% into the book. Also, the author briefly perpetuated the ideas that the awkward friend is always the better choice than the “cool” guy and that the guys in the “friend zone” are always “nice” guys. The cool guy in question seemed like a douche, but it still bugged me that the MC assumed that the friend was a better choice simply because he was awkward. He could easily have been an awkward douche. I hate harems in which additional men join after the harem is formed because I think the relationships become unbalanced then, so I’m going to be pissed if the MC ends up adding the pretty though malnourished cave guy to her harem at some point. Still, I’ll be downloading the sequel immediately!

Love the series...but first is slow going

You will enjoy this series if you choose to stick with it. It is an easy fun read, but this book is my least favorite because it is a slower burn...plus the previous entries claimed it did have the feel like The Darkside Series (Four Psychos) by Kristy Cunning's. This actually made me want to read it more when seeing that post because I just ADORE her and love her style of writing. Raven Kennedy delivered a good book with a fun take of a story. The world she creates and the characters that are introduced get better and better. Sometimes the fmc gets redundant in what she has to say, but she is one that many would probably like and not find annoying. The males that are introduced have talents and of course good looking. If you are looking for something steamy this book DOES NOT have it. However, you want to read it because it will pick up :)! I promise you will get steamy and multiple lovers! Great book, but out of the series my least favorite (but you cannot skip it).

Good but a bit of a rip off

The idea of this story is great, but I struggled to get over how similar this was to “four psychos”. It’s way too similar. Unseen girl stuck watching people go about their lives for ages. Finds a group of hot guys and numbers them based on the order she sees them. Something happens and they get a real body and the guys don’t trust her. They fight for first place. When she is away from them she fades away. Basically the same relationship story in a different setting. Still entertaining though.

Mean, Whinging, Lazy

A book about a Cupid sounds like a light and funny concept, until one starts reading - the protagonist never stops whinging. She is also judgmental, mean, doesn’t do her job, and is a creepy peeping Tom. I’m not sure what readers are supposed to like about her - or anyone else in the book as all of the secondary characters are equally vile. As a Cupid, one would think that she would be a busy person spreading lust, sex, and love in her territory. In reality, the author has her hovering over a barstool following one person day-in, day-out. When she is promoted to the Fae Realm, she again fixates on one person and doesn’t bother to help anyone else. The inciting incident is that she uses her Cupid abilities as a weapon. She feels that she is “owed” when she fixates on a person. Apparently, whomever she uses it on is not permitted to live their own life or make their own choices. Therefore, she punishes the people she maliciously stalks. In what I can only presume is supposed to be a hilarious scene, she is made corporeal after attacking someone and suddenly finds she can’t walk and doesn’t know how to fly. She plummets to her near death and the men she previously creeped on try to kill her. They literally shoot her and tie her up - I cannot fathom why this is supposed to be funny. I guess because the protagonist has verbal diarrhea?

Great PNR💘Fantasy! Great Audible Listen🎧

Signs of Cupidity: A Fantasy Reverse Harem Story Heart Hassle, Book 1 By: Raven Kennedy Narrated by: Melissa Schwairy This story is a delight, it is cute, fun and entertaining. Raven Kennedy creates an imaginative world consisting of different realms and beings. The storylines and characters are interesting and well developed. The lead character, is a cupid, she is unseen by anyone and it is her job to make people fall in love. There are other cupids roaming the world, none have a given name, just a number, this cupid is ML. ML is a bit cynical with humankind, jealous she can not have what she give others, she has developed an attitude and has a mouth on her. She gets pulled from Earth and is re-assinged to another realm, the world of Fae. She gets herself in a bit of trouble with the high Prince of the Fae, she escapes him but is left with a spell where she not only can be seen but she can feel and do all the things she wished she could that her cupid body would not allow. Her escape has her falling onto another island, she had visited this island when she first came to this realm and saw 3 males, at that time they could not see her but she named them in order she would kiss them, #1, 2 & 3. These three turn out to be “Genfins” a different type of fae, they are banished from their lands and are doing time in seclusion. They think she is a spy for the Prince. The story gets more and more interesting, there is some hilarious banter coming from ML and angst from one of the males, Ronak, formally known as #1, he stays skeptical of her thinks she is she devil. #2 and #3, Sylred and Evert do not feel the same. The men all have different powers, Evert aka Stitches heals, Syred calms thru music and Ronak’s power is strength. This is my first novel from this author and I loved it, love the humor she includes, the personality she gives her characters and the world and storylines she created. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. Thank you for this awesome story! I listened to the Audible edition, Melissa Schwairy is a wonderful narrator. She performs the voices for all characters, she brings them to life, gives each their own unique sound and personality. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thanks for this great listen🎧

Not a 2 book series...

The story is great, I am a happy that it's an ongoing series because I want more, but the way it's advertised made it seem to me that it was a book one and book two of a two book collection. It's my mistake for misunderstanding the way it is described, but I feel like the wording was misleading. 1 of 2 and 2 of 2 made me think there were only going to be two books even though being a "series" implies more than two. I was obviously confused. I'm pretty sure that is an Amazon thing and not at all the fault of the Author, so I thought I would mention my mistake in case it helps anyone be aware of what they are starting in on. This story is worth it, but you might end up devouring the first two books quickly like I just did and end with no resolution in sight for a little while. I am totally going to keep ready these! I am actually really glad it's going to be more books, but I might have waited longer to read it so I didn't get caught in a cliffhanger at book two. Do read this series though!

Hilariously Great! Highly recommended!

The first thing that comes to mind after reading this book the 5th time is that it is hilarious! I love this series so much! This was the second book I read of Ravens when it came out, and I was dying for the rest of the series to come out. (The only reason I am reviewing so late Is for technical difficulties) But luckily the series is finished now! It’s about a ‘cupid’ who is pretty much hilariously not very good at her job. She is lonely, living an life in the void where no one can see or hear her. She decides to do a little ‘rebelling’ and gets in trouble by the ‘cupid headquarters’. As punishment, and pretty much her last second chance, she is sent from human realm to Fae realm to spread as much love, lust and flirting as possible. When she gets there she decides to use her abilities to help the prince and his soon to be bride princess. Without giving to much away let’s just say she lets her emotions get the best of her...again... and ends up coming out of the vail -the place Cupid’s excise- and her body becomes solid. She crash lands (literally) on a banishment island with three men. It’s hilarious! I literally laughed out loud through out most of the book. And enjoyed every second of this book.

This series "IS NOT A RIP OFF" I found it to be "Completely Unique!"

I read a few of the reviews that talk about it this being a rip off. And I was really shocked by that. Because I didn't see it that way at all. And I have read all the series they compared it to. Yes there are a couple similarities to this and a few other books I have read. Which is nothing comparatively speaking. If I read a story and find it barely similar to only a few other books I consider that a "Win". I mean come on do you know how many vampire & werewolf stories are out there. I happen to like the theme of the girl being ghostly at first. There are actually only a handful out that I have found with that theme so I consider that a win. And the fact that she is a Cupid is "Completely Unique" to this story. Not one of the books reviewers compared this story to (such as Four Pychos) had anything to do with cupids, fae or pretty much anything else in this book. Four Pychos and Restless Spirit now those 2 series were "extremely" alike (But I still "Loved" them both! And highly recommend them) I don't think there is a such thing as to much of a good thing anyway. If you read Four Pychos and liked it. Than I believe you will really enjoy this book. It has a similar feel as in it's the same type of story. A sweet funny slow burn romance. But this book is a completely different story. I mean other than her being invisible at first and the guys being your typical RH mix there are no plot similarities. This book was really a Great read I Loved the MC's personality she was sweet snarky and really funny at times. And yes the males were the typical mix of bad boys that we get in Every single RH that is on the market. (So I think It is more than a little unfair to label that as a rip off) I mean come on let's be honest at least 90% or higher of all the RH have the same mix of bad boys. You get 1 that's super cocky, snarky and sexually flirty one. One that's arrogant dominant and an out right ass. One that is sweet, sensitive and oft times the more intellectual one. And any others that are thrown in are generally a mix of the 3. That is how they all are it's what we all love about #whychoose. If That is something that bothers you than my advice is to avoid RH stories all together! This book "IS NOT A RIP OFF" is it "DELIGHTFULLY SWEET, FUNNY AND UNIQUE!!" I think if your a fan of RH romances than your going to LOVE this series I know I did! I can not recommend in more highly. I truly feel you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't at least give it a shot. Oh for those of you who enjoy the steamy scenes. It does follow the same guidelines as most slow burn RH romances. You get a lot of relationship building and sexual innuendo in this 1st installment. But I have read book 2 as well and let me just say stick with it because is does not disappoint like all slow burns it does catch fire eventually. ;-)~ Anyway hope this helps, Good Luck & Happy Reading

So apparently this is a rip off

The idea and concept seemed good but apparently this is a rip off of another author's series. I'll check that one out instead though I really hate the overly AH guy. I made it 70% in this and gave up. To make her run over and over when she couldnt... and the fact that she did anyways. UHRG!! Do these women not have backbones or what. I get these guys are supposed to be with her in the end but the way she was treated; I would have thrown myself off that island and hoped to meet them again some day when they fix their attitude. She didn't need to run that much or that hard. But I guess when your that starved for love you would jump when he says jump no matter what he did.

Super Cute!

Aw, this book was charming and different. I loved it. Emelle is a Cupid girl, invisible to everyone, inspiring love and lust all around, but she's lonely. Imagine observing all these touches between people, but never knowing what that felt like? Or how food tasted? Or the scent of flowers? Misery. After receiving a promotion to the Fae realm, she's accidentally made corporal and crash lands on an island with three hot dudes...whom have tails. Let the tension games begin. New experiences abound, but also danger. This was a fun read with lots of silly bits and snarky banter. I'm excited to see what happens next! Loved it!

Great start

Heads up if you are one of those weird folks who hate cliffhangers, run away now. Not that it’s an intense cliffhanger, more like an end of part one cliffhanger. In other news I picked up this book because someone told me the main character, Emelle, was funny. I was in the mood for funny fantasy. And I definitely got that with this book. Emelle is definitely funny, who would have thought that a bitter Cupid would be hilarious? Emelle is actually ML, her number instead of a name, who basically spends her whole existence in the veil, she can see and hear people but can’t interact with them in anyway. She’s basically a ghost with love powers. It’s kind of sad, she’s just lonely. When she’s made in a “real girl” on accident (thanks to a seriously hilarious outburst of anger towards a prince who seriously has issues keeping it in his pants) she basically has to run for her life. It’s funny when she essentially ends up on a prison island with three condemned guys. It’s a rocky start to be sure, but I loved all their interactions. I loved getting to see Emelle basically learn how to exist. How to walk without falling over, flying, food, feeling things and people. I actually thought her being so isolated helped make the world building easier for the reader, a lot of time in fantasy books the reader can get overwhelmed with all the different information being thrown at them, and that was not at all a problem in this book. I am very seriously looking forward to seeing how Emelle does once the banishment period ends of the guys. Will they survive the culling? Will she tell them her new found knowledge or will she keep it to herself? So much fun stuff I wanna know!

Emelle makes this book worthwhile

TLDR review: Super cute reverse harem story with a sassy/funny heroin, an evil prince and three hot fae. If you like those things you’ll like this book. Basic rundown: A Cupid gets hit with a blast of magic after repeating hitting a high fae prince with her love arrows. Hijinks then ensue and she meets 3 very hot banished fae. Pros: - The main character is very funny and cute. She has a heart of gold which is why she’s such a good Cupid even when humanity had let her down. - The three fae are a very good team even if they are your typical type of reverse harem guys. The nice one, the horny one and the I don’t trust you one. - I really enjoyed the fae world and thought that the world building was very well done. Cons: - This isn’t really a con but I couldn’t help but notice that this book reminds me a lot of Four Psychos by Kristy Cunning. - I kind of thought the prince was hot. A total dick but still hot. Favorite quotes: “It doesn’t matter if it’s a tiny stick hut or a sprawling castle; if you want the scandals and the rumors, you go to the kitchen. Everyone talks in the kitchen. I think it’s the food’s fault. People go in there ready to open their mouths.” “The guy is the richest fae in the realm, and he’s wearing pajamas to his own party. Gotta love it.” “I don’t have a name, but I wish I did just so that I could refuse to give it to you,” I snap.

Great read!

I read this with KU and definitely plan to buy it now, because it was so good. If you've read The Dark Side series by Kristy Cunning or Curse of the God's by Jaymin Eve and Jane Washington then you definitely will love this book. The main character has the same sort of sassy snark and hilarious clumsiness as the main characters in those books. She's hilarious. Absolutely hilarious, the descriptions of the world are well done and beautifully detailed. The pacing is great too. Sometimes in these types of books it seems like the characters don't have enough development or they fall in love too fast but that doesn't happen here. I read this in one sitting and I can't wait to read the next one. And again I absolutely love Emelle, I can't wait to see how her character continues to develop.

The itch

Ok so this book definitely resembles four psychos but its also different. It's set in a totally different world and well there are only 3 not 4 guys. It has a totally different storyline that couldn't be more opposite to the one in four psychos. So yeah there are some similarities but its a great book and i had a hard time putting it down. Cupid/Smells is a bitter Cupid and lashes out at a prince who then blasts her with magic and makes her into a real girl. Finally getting what she's always wanted isn't all sunshine and rainbows and she has a rough introduction into the real world. Shes learning/feeling all kinds of new things. But her happiness at having a body is short lived when she finds out the truth of her new body. I'm excited for what happens next.

Not-First

I would like to start with this: I did not like the blurb to this book. Honestly, when I read it I thought it would be utterly stupid. However, SO many people kept raving about it in book groups so I had to give it a try, thinking it was still going to let me down. I. WAS. SO. WRONG. This book, first of all, is HILARIOUS. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of time I spent cackling like a mad woman during this read. I adore a book that can either make me laugh my ass off or cry like a baby! I really enjoyed the fact that this does not start off as an instantly perfect relationship. I love the relationship building in this book, the characters are fabulous and the plot line is interesting. I cannot wait to dig in to the next book.

Interesting

This is a story about a girl who decides to be a Cupid for her afterlife. After being a Cupid for many years she is transferred from the human realm to the Fae realm. She is enjoying the new realm. She learns of the soon marriage between the Fae prince and a noble Fae. She decides to help that marriage. All seems to be going great between the prince and new bride until the Cupid sees something she wishes she hadn’t. After watching this issue happen for a few weeks, Cupid snaps and starts shooting love arrow after love arrow at the prince. The prince in turns hits her with some strong magic and now everyone can see her. A chase ensues and Cupid ends up jumping out a window and falls to a small island where 3 guys have been banished. This is the first time Cupid has had a body in decades. The relationship between Cupid and the guys starts off bad. Eventually the guys give Cupid a real name and their relationship improves. Cupid cares so much for them that she refuses to tell them the truth about how deep their relationship is and that her life is in their hands.

Unexpected depth

The first few chapters of this story portray the MC in an unflattering if understandable light. But once this story got going... Wow! I was completely engrossed! For a book to hold my attention like this the author has to have a good chunk of talent. I'm so excited that book 2 is already released. My errands are going to have to wait a bit longer.- I just finished book 2. I've had no sleep and I've done no errands. Raven Kennedy this is all your fault! If you love curse of the gods or the 4 psychos this book is for you. I truly can't recommend it enough. So it's been a minute... And I've just finished reading this book Again. I am going to purchase this series and call it my precious. I will probably never leave my room. Yesssss...... My preciousssss.

Very wordy

This wasn't exactly what I was expecting when I started Signs of Cupidity.... It had some funny moments and even a sweet moment or two but I was so wordy. I'm undecided on if I will read book 2 or not.

Way better than I thought it'd be

I'm not sure why I didn't try this book before now but for whatever reason based on the book cover and blurb I figured I wouldn't like it. It's actually really funny and cute. The FMC is great. Funny through the whole series without her quirkiness becoming annoying. I read the series before putting a review on the first book because I hate reading the first book in a series to find out the later books don't hold up. This whole series does. It's a fun, quick read.

Fantasy Reverse Harem

Signs of Cupidity by Raven Kennedy is a fantasy reverse harem that I listened to on audio narrated by Melissa Schwairy. This is book one in the Heart Hassle series and the book does end on a cliff-hanger. This is the first book of Raven’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. I really enjoyed this spin on Cupid's. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series Bonds of Cupidity. Melissa did an amazing job on the narration! She really knows how to bring a story to life. I would highly recommend this series to anyone who likes fantasy, reverse harems, or slow burn romances. AudiobookObsession AudiobookObsessionReviewer

Hilarious Snarky and Overall FUN!

I couldn't get enough of this book n I can't wait to devour the rest! It was SO funny at every turn. Emelle is snarky blunt and hilarious. Emelle is a Cupid who becomes jaded bcuz she can't have love too so she ends up in an incident that has her becoming corporeal in the fae realm. She ends up in an island with 3 sexy fae and spends time with them with plenty of mishaps and hilarity 😂 In the end she learns a hard truth and dreads her future. I absolutely love Emelle and Everte. I'm excited for more!!!! 🤓

Hilarious with slow burn

This is my first book from Raven Kennedy and I loved it . This is a slow burn Reverse Harem book . I absolutely love ML- 1050 or Emelle as she becomes later in this book . Emelle is Cupid ,and she is fed up with being lonely and having no chance at lbeing loved . That is all she wants . After getting in trouble she is sent to the Fae realm . This is where she first sees First , Second and Third who we later find out our Evert, Ronak and Sylred . She is attacked by strong magic from the Fae prince . She then has a body . She escapes back to an island where she sees the genfins again . This is were all the fun begins . Emelle is hilarious , and the guys first think she is a spy sent from the prince . The all develop a friendly relationship at first durning this book . I’m telling you this book is hilarious and filled with drama . You will love it .

Surprised How Much I Liked It.

So this book was recommended by some peeps on another author's fan page. Bored, I figured why not and borrowed it. The most I expected was a light read and a little humor. This book surprised me instead. It was fun, sexy and thoroughly enjoyable. A few typos throughout but not enough to distract from the story (like at the end of the book, the author keeps referring to ML missing it being just the five of them on their island...um, there's ML, Not-First, Second and Third. That's four, not five. I kept wondering if the author cut a man to complete a quad or something). Overall, very good book and am definitely looking forward to the next installment. Well done!

So glad I finally read this!

I love this bookkkk! It’s been on my radar the last 6 months or so but I kept passing it over for another book. Looking back I think it was because I had learned it was slow burn and not much steam wise happens in this book. Yes that’s true but the story is so good that it doesn’t bother me all :) Also the MC is funny as hell. The back and forth with her and the guys is unique and well-balanced and I loved their budding relationship. If your reading this... take it as a sign to read this book 😎🙌🏻

Uniquely different and amazing!

This book is different than any RH I've ever read. ML is a cupid stuck in the veil. She has become jaded with her job in the afterlife. She gets sent from the human realm to the fae. There her adventure begins. Stuck with three fae who are banished. I loved the struggle she had gaining their trust. It wasn't all fated and insta-love. In fact there is no sexy time for her in this story. I was hooked in this story in the first chapter. She's sarcastic and funny. I love her inner dialogue.

Loved it!

I love the cover of this book. It's why I first clicked on it. It wasn't on my recommended lists which it should have been because this is my type of book! I was hesitant at first because this is the author's first series so I didn't know if I would like this author, like the characters etc. But I decided to take a leap of faith and read it.....best decision all week! I loved it! Yes, at times it's like this author took Willa from Cure of the Gods series and combined her with Paca from The Dark Side series. But I liked it and I liked the story it was enough to keep me intrigued and invested. I can't wait to read the next one! Overall: 5/5

Funniest Rh Book EVER!

OH. MY. GAWD! This has got to be the funniest RH book I have ever read. I laughed out loud at least once a page. Emelle is my favorite female character of any I have ever known. She snarky yet sweet. She's hilarious yet soulful. She's sexy, yet clumsy. In fact, she has got to be the biggest klutz I've ever met besides me. She is so loveable I just want to give her a big hug. Oh, and I'd wouldn't mind giving the guys a big...hug as well. 😉 Emelle is one of the most well written characters of any of the RH books I've read so far and that is saying something because I've read a lot them. I could feel her joy as well as her pain. I can't wait to start reading the next book, so much so that this is the last sentence of my review.

"Signs of Cupidity: (Heart Hassle Book 1)

It took me a chapter or two, and then I was flying through each chapter !! I CANNOT WAIT TO READ THE NEXT BOOK !! Which I'm going to do as soon as I finish writing this review. Like I said, I want to be completely transparent, I honestly took me a couple chapters to REALLY have the book grab me, (Spoiled Alert... But once Cupid gets sent to the Far Realm, and meets three Handsome strangers ) I couldn't put the book down I read the entire book in one sitting !! Check out "Signs of Cupidity" You're going absolutely LOVE IT !!

LOVE this freaking Cupid!

I'm coming back to the first book, after reading the series, to leave my review. This entire series had me cracking up and making my, as Emelle would say, beaver purse tighten 🤣 I feel like Emelle is my kindred spirit. Everything she says and does I can totally relate to and I love it. I also love how different and perfectly unperfect the guys in the story are. I am definitely going to have to read more books from this author. I'm hooked on Cupidity. 💞

Unique and interesting take on Cupid lore

This was a unique take on the Cupid lore. The world building was exceptional the character development was deep and thorough and you definitely came out with your favorites. This is a slow burn so there’s no steam to speak of in the first book at all but it’s definitely set up for the second and third books. No trigger warnings. Definitely recommend this as the beginning to the series and I’m definitely gonna look up the other books in the series.

Holy forking shirt.

I was recommended this book from a friend (I’ve also seen it around on Amazon and various RH groups on Facebook) and I’m so mad at myself for not reading this sooner. It was SUCH a good read. I started and finished it all in the same day, because I just couldn’t put it down. I’m so excited for the next book to come out and see where the story goes. I flove Emelle’s relationships with ALL the guys, even Ronak (sorry if I spelled his name wrong, I forgot.. oops), especially him. I have a thing for the jerky alphas, what can I say. *shrugs* I love all the guys though and all of the different things they offer for her. Raven Kennedy, you’ve got me hooked and I’m a fan.

Make up your own mind

This, folks, is one of those cases of a bad review turning me off from an amazing book. I remember wanting to read this many months ago, but I read a review that totally turned me off. that was a huge mistake. HUGE. See, it turns out that just because that person didn't enjoy the book, doesn't mean I necessarily will. I have learned my lesson. This book had me cracking up, anxious, and hopeful and more. It was fun and light and also serious and driven. It's slow burn, so I wasn't expecting smut right out of the gate. But what I love more than anything is a sassy, funny MC. And ML is that MC to a T. So I want to applaud Raven Kennedy for a great plot and even better characters. I'm very excited for the next book! I know some have compared this to the Dark Side series, which I also read and loved, but while I do see similarities, I don't really see that this is a rip-off. idk. I read Dark Side a while ago, so maybe I'm not remembering details well enough. I guess both MCs were incorporeal and stuff, but Signs of Cupidity is well different enough for me. In short, people should read both and make up their own minds. this is a great book!

Love, love, love

I love this series! When I read it the first time, I obviously noticed it was similar to Kristy Cunning's Dark Side series. However, in this second read, I really don't feel it's all that similar except for the fact Emelle was invisible at the start. The world is wholly unique, and even though Emelle suffers from a similar word vomit syndrome, the tones of the two series are totally different. Most notably, the dynamics between the harem are much different. The humor in this series is great, and it keeps me laughing the whole time. The outhouse scene kills me every single time. I can't wait to see what's in store for Emelle and her guys in the third book!

A fantastic find...

Wow. This book was a recommendation and I an thankful to whoever provided it. I have always enjoyed fantasy or paranormal storylines but this was a refreshing take. Her you have a human who died and her afterlife job is to play Cupid for all beings. Sounds like a great gig, right? Well as they say the devils in the details, and ML, or Emelle as she comes to be know finds out the hard way that giving out love isn't the same as getting love. I encourage everyone to be open to this book/series. The characters are complex and interesting. The plot has range and depth. The love/romance/nakedfuntimes are funny and sexy without being regurgitate nonsense. A book I'm happy to add to my collection.

Absolutely amazing!

This book was amazing! The cover hooked me and the story reeled me in. Now, the author has totally caught me! I loved the plot, the characters, the chemistry between the characters, the world building. The main character is impossible not to adore. The three main love interest did annoy me sometimes but that is because I love Emelle and they were all being suspicious jerks at one point or another. The humor in this book! OMG! I loved every minute of it. Absolutely can not wait for the next book. This is a reverse harem novel. Not very bad language or explicit but definitely 17+.

After the initial hump of feeling like I was reading a cross between a Curse of the Gods-Ghostbird fanfiction, I fell in love with this book. The heroine really reminds me of another author's main character, and the guys remind me of another author's male characters, but when you remember that just because some of the characters are really similar does not mean they are the same you can really dive in and just enjoy the amazing plot and the superb characterization. I loved the way the guys didn't immediately fall in love with the MC and I love how much thought was put into this story. If you love RH, this book is for you.

Stupid Cupid

I love this book so much. It was really hilarious and unique. Plus once we get on the island with the guys it gets swoonier. Ronak (who I totally picture looking like Jason Momoa from Game of Thrones 😍), Evert (bearded Liam Hemsworth), and Sylred (obvi Charlie Hunnam) are completely hot, infuriating, sweet, and annoying. Pretty much an amazing combo right?! Seeing Emelle try to deal with having a real life and trying to convince the guys she isn’t a demon even though she has red wings is hilarious. I really enjoyed this book and have already jumped into the second one which is also suuuuper good. Well what are you waiting for? Do you need to be shot with an arrow? Swoon with me!

Give It a Try You Won’t Be Disappointed

Now that was good and I can’t wait to read the next one and find out what happens. Cupid or Emelle is hilarious, I love that she’s strong and feisty yet clutzy and vulnerable at the same time. Her verbal sparring with Ronak is laugh out loud worthy. All her guys are great, and I’m very much looking forward to more heated moments in the 2nd book because this book barely had any. I can understand that, being they all have to get to know each other yadda yadda, but there better be something more in the next book.

Addicting

How did it take me so long to start this series? I could not put this book down! I kept saying 'this is last chapter'.... 'just one more chapter and then I'll go clean' .... Then all of the sudden I am done and purchasing book 2. Emelle is adorable, hilarious and perfectly embodies a cupid. There were so many laugh out loud moments - especially when food is involved. Great character building - I'm already attached to everyone and invested in their story. Can't wait to read to more!

Good but not a favourite

The first 50% or so felt like ripped offs from well-known RHs and also the personalities and quirks of the FMC and the guys. Nonetheless, it is fun to read. The similarities will distract you at first and will feel confused on what you're really reading. There's a lot of ways to make it more original and IDKW the author did not choose to do that. Another downside, it ended on a cliffhanger.

Excellent book and wonderful trilogy!

I read 1-1.5 books a day, but I rarely leave reviews. This trilogy deserves one. I don't think I've laughed over a book more than I did when I read these three. If they weren't on Amazon Unlimited, I would have purchased them. They're really that good. My only "complaint" is that the author has so few other books out there, I was hoping she would have tons of other books that I could binge on! Keep up the awesome work Ms. Kennedy!

So freaking good!!!

Too many good things to say about this book. It has quickly become my favorite RH series. I absolutely love the main characters personality. She's so freaking funny and loveable. The guys in the book are just as loveable too. This book is jammed packed with entertainment and there's never a dull moment. Don't deny yourself from this precious gem any further....read it now!!!

Dayum

Author, Raven Kennedy. First book? Dayum, girl! You launched it out the ballpark! A sassy, lonely Cupid gets caught up in a mess while dishing out some payback to a royal fae. She runs for her life and ends up on an island floating in the sky. There, she become corporeal and that's where the fun begins. She meets a banished convey, and soon discovers food, flirting and fitness. What's a Cupid to do but make the most of it. I really enjoyed the snark between our protagonists and I'm eager to find out what happens next.

So witty & entertaining

I have to say I absolutely LOVE this MC and her harem! Her personality is hilarious and the author did not try too hard to make her funny and relatable. She’s witty, confident, and genuine and I cannot get enough of her! The male characters are intriguing and I love that you get more of their personality in this than focusing on physical descriptions . Can’t wait to get started on the second!

Loved It!

I'll be honest... the cover caught my eye for this one and it turns out sometimes judging a book by it's cover can be a great thing lol I absolutely loved it. This series is a slower burn than some other RH books I've read, but I really enjoyed the fact that the main characters took time to get to know each other and form a real bond. It made the relationships seem more authentic and the dialogue felt more real. Not to mention.. that sexual tension.. get me a fan or something! Honestly, I couldn't put it down and I immediately had to go a stalk the author on social media for updates.

Ridiculously Good

Sarcastic, melancholic, and funny. I was shocked to see that this is the first published book by this author, because it doesn't read like one. Loved the mix of characters and the FMC has her moments weakness but doesn't let them break her. Yes, there are certainly similarities to Four Psychos, mostly because the FMCs in both are not visible to others. I actually liked this book better, and I love Four Psychos. If you like sarcastic, tough females who don't give up and a hard-earned, slow-burn romance, you will love this one.

A Reverse Harem worth reading!

I love this book. It's witty, it has personality and the perfect amount of slow burn. I think it's realistic to desire someone and still say "No I'm not ready", I loved that there was a build up. I loved that each of the men had personality, but not to an extreme where they simply was one stereotype against another. I'm sad to hear it's only a 3 book planned, I'd love to see this coupling grow and meet new adventures. But either way, I've found an author to follow for the future :)

Some issues, but worth the read

This series is cute and funny, but the characters are kind of flat. None of the love interests really have any personality besides being gruff, sweet, or horny. None of the characters really have any motivation for what they're doing. That being said, the MC is hilarious, the dialogue is well written, and the plot is decent. Definitely on the higher end of reverse harem.

AMAZING

I am not usually one to write reviews but I wanted to support this new author because this was an AMAZING book. The world building is fantastic. The dialog witty. I laughed out loud at some points. The characters are all real and lovable and everything is realistic (no instalove, girl going from having no fighting skills whatsoever to being a badass in two days) I am literally so excited for the second book that comes out in only a few weeks!! I was in such a book slump of over written/done themes, worlds, and character traits and this book was a wonderful breath of fresh air. Everything was new I have never read a story about a cupid before. I absolutely and totally recommend this book!

Emelle

So this book was recommended from a book group. And I am happy I read it. Emelle is hilarious. The things she says. Like how she describes being your reactions to guys would not be right for other books but are perfect and hilarious for her. The Genfins are awesome. Ronak and his brooding. Evert and his snarky confidence. And Sylred and his sweetness. I thought at first sometime she was going to end up with the Ptince of the high fae. I’m glad she didn’t. He is d bag. And completely unfaithful. Like serious a-hole alert. Lol can’t wait to get at the next book.

Great series!

This book was recommended in one of the reader groups I’m in on Facebook. I am so glad I listened. I loved Emelle’s character. She is fantastic and hilarious. I couldn’t put this entire series down. Like it seriously interfered with my family life. 🤣 Anyway, I enjoyed all of the characters and the story line. Great writing. I definitely recommend the entire series. Okot is my favorite!

Hilariously great writing and story

Hilarious! A friend of mine recommended this book and she was spot on. Very similar writing style to Jaymin Eve Curse of the Gods but much much funnier! I also let the descriptions of the strong tall handsome man and can’t wait to see what happens in book to and beyond. My only regret is that all the books aren’t out yet. This story has great promise and I can’t wait to see what happens and of course for the sexy seems to begin. Download it now! You won’t regret it!

Snarky cupid lol

I liked this one. I can't remember reading a story about Cupid before so it was a nice touch. Right from the beginning she had me laughing with her snark and "great" Cupid skills lol then when she was transferred and found that specific island first, I just knew she was going to meet them again. By the way I do not like the Prince and I hope he gets his in this series. Can't wait to start the next book!

one of my favorites

Second time around reading this series! Still love it as much as the first time! Our main female character is hilarious! She says everything that is on her mind because this is the first time in over 50 years that anyone can see our little Cupid. The guys are all hot alpha males. Throw in some sexy attraction and forbidden fruit and you have a great start to the series! One of my all time favorite RH series. Worth the read for sure.
