Great science books
Great books and getting our reluctant reader excited about reading!
Exciting Science Reading
An introduction to geology in comic book form! A young boy has questions for a female geologist about a rock he has found... and he wants to be her assistant. She uses the one rock (which turns out to be a meteorite) to teach him about geology from the origins of the universe to rock types to how the age of a rock is determined. This comic is jam packed with science and would serve as a fun introduction to geology or a quick review. The level is aimed at about midlife school, but wild be a fun read for people if any age. Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for the opportunity to read a pre-release copy of this book.
Even an adult can learn a lot from manga
I did not know the technical difference between a cave and a cavern until I read the book. As the last science comic that I read in the series was on volcanoes, I enjoyed this volume even more because you get to learn where igneous rocks and limestones stand in the eyes of geology. Frankly, there were a lot of words in the book that I had never encountered in my life, but it did not become a hindrance to my finishing the book.
Problem with number of order
Book is excellent. I ordered 18 books only delivered 12, there was no intimation from the seller regarding this
