By the bestselling author of JoJo's Bizare Adventure. Stunning illustrations depict an original fantasy story in this captivating graphic novel. As Rohan, a young Japanese manga artist, is drawing, he meets a mysterious, beautiful woman who tells him of a cursed 200-year-old painting. The painting was created using the blackest ink ever known, which came from a 1,000-year-old tree that the painter had cut down without the approval of the Emperor. The painter was executed for this, but the painting was saved from destruction by a curator of the Louvre. A decade later, Rohan visits Paris and asks the museum to unearth the painting from deep within its archives—but he is completely unprepared for the power of the curse he has unleashed.

Must Have

I purchased this as a gift for my son, who is a HUGE JoJo fan. When the book arrived I was very happy to see it was beautiful. Colorful, hardcover, and top quality. On his birthday when he opened it he was THRILLED. Said they previously only sold it at the Louvre. I scored mega cool mom points, and my picky teen was elated. I truly think this is a must have for any JoJo fan.

The Beauty of Hiroiko Araki

The one thing I truly love about Hiroiko Araki is his attention to detail within his drawings; the correct usage of proportions, values and hues used in the manga is beyond acceptation in my opinion and his way of telling stories always keeps you invested through and through. The one thing I wished was that I discovered him and his Jojo series sooner. I felt at ease and invested when I read this spin off story with Rohan and think you will, too. The package came on time and in mint condition. This manga gets a Trujillo seal of approval from me! Definitely a 10 out 10 MUST BUY manga if you're into Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. That's it for me! WRYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!

Fantastic quality book, but the story itself is only halfway there

The overall quality of this book is incredible. The size of the book is big, and I say that in a good way because it lets the artwork inside really stand out. Speaking of the artwork, every page is in full color which I was not expecting, and the printing is very high quality. Everything about this release has really exceeded my expectations and I'm very happy with it. Product review over, the people selling and printing this book have done their job exceedingly well and have earned the 5 star rating As for the story itself, I feel mixed. First and foremost it's definitely not long enough. The entire book is maybe 100 or so pages, and the pace is turbo fast. Spoilers: Here's literally the entire plot: Rohan moves into a house, girl tells him about a painting, he goes to see it, dead people come out of it, he escapes and the painting is burned down for safety. The end. Each of those plot points gets about 10 pages each and the story just kind of ends. I'm a fan of Araki previously from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure so I know what to expect but he honestly fell a little flat here in story telling. The beginning is about him meeting this girl and it seems they grow to like each other over time but then completely out of the blue this plot line is just dropped entirely and he's in France all of a sudden. Very jarring. His visit to go see the painting doesn't last long enough either. It ends as suddenly as it began. His stand power isn't used at all except in the end when he finds a strange and confusing loophole to escape from the painting which I still dont quite understand. I very much understand that this is a side story that isn't necessarily supposed to be thrilling or epic, and Im okay with that but if youre going to have this entire relationship building first half I feel like it has to go somewhere but its just dropped for not much reason other than "guess I'll go see that painting she offhandedly mentioned to me that one time". I don't want to sound like I entirely disliked the story, it's nothing more than "good enough". I guess you could say I liked it so much that the reason Im upset is because I just want more of it. I'd be lying if I said I'd recommend it to people who have never read JoJo before but if youre a fan I'd say give it a shot. If anything the art is still great and its looks nice on display. Overall great, high quality release. I just wish the story itself was more fleshed out.

Marvelous Spinoff of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

Been eyeballing this book for a long time and finally bit the bullet and purchased it. Was not disappointed. Nobody writes a story quite like Hirohiko Araki. Rohan At the Louvre is an excellent mystery/suspense thriller with all of Araki's trademarks on full display; his glamorous and detailed artwork, his humor, his excellent sense of tension, his use of grotesque and bizarre imagery, all coming together to create an engrossing and unique story that makes for an effortless read from beginning to end. The book itself is also fantastic. This is a large-printed hardcover with thick, glossy pages that really help Araki's masterful artwork shine. $18 for a short story might seem like much, but the quality of the product more than males it worth the price. Recommended for any JoJo fan, manga fan, or appreciator of good suspenseful storytelling.

Better for people who already like Araki's works, but an interesting and worthwhile comic

I'm a huge fan of Hirohiko Araki and his comics, so when I heard that Rohan at the Louvre was being published in English, there was no question I'd buy it; in fact, I already had it in the Japanese magazine serialization and the hardcover French edition. It's a five-star for me, or for several other groups of people, but there are some problems with this volume regardless. It's a gorgeous volume; the hardcover binding isn't too hard or too flimsy-feeling, like a nicer picture book. The printing quality is excellent, and while the author is known and loved for occasionally garish color use, the beautiful coloration on the interior pages is soft and dreamy, with colors reminiscent of early 1900s children's books accented with splashes of blacks and brights. If you're a fan of Hirohiko Araki's art, you want this regardless of whether or not you like the story as the single most inexpensive "artbook" you'll ever find. The story is a decent standalone; its themes are similar to some of the other Rohan short story one-shots that haven't been published in English, but that's not necessarily a drawback. What is a drawback is that you really will get far more out of this comic if you have already read some of Araki's other work including Rohan Kishibe as a character, none of which has ever been published in English. There's a charming scene where three characters from Diamond is Unbreakable show up to say a few lines; for a dedicated Araki fan this is a wonderful shout-out, but for someone who hasn't read those comics, you might be left wondering who these people are. In fact, while Rohan's "ability" is explained very simply in the first few pages, its name is never given; if you're a pre-existing fan you might know that it's Heaven's Door, but when Rohan later refers to it AS "Heaven's Door", it's not explained, nor are some of the mechanics of how Heaven's Door works which wind up being crucial to the comic. I loaned my copy to someone who had no previous knowledge of Araki's works, and while they enjoyed it, they were a bit confused. Even so, it's a nice self-contained story, and the Louvre setting elements add to the story rather than feeling like they were shoehorned in just for product placement. As far as the English editing and translation goes... The translation itself is quite good; it preserves the distinctive speaking style of the original comic while still being readable (delightfully so, in fact) in English, and the section in the back about the Louvre collections is a good primer for those who've never been there. However, as a long-time manga reader some of the editing is a bit sub-par. There's a few typos near the end, and some rather dubious typeface usage that I really don't agree with. The fact that the dialogue and the SFX subtitles are all set in the same typeface is a bit jarring as well. I'd recommend this to anybody who enjoys the art of Hirohiko Araki, or to anybody with an interest both in artwork and in horror stories (because this IS a rather creepy horror story, with some pages full of strange gore). It isn't a perfect book, nor is it a perfect edition, but it's still good enough to have a place on my shelf for years.

Nice Collector's Piece

Something about this book that I didn't expect was how big it was!! It doesn't fit on the bookshelf in my room, haha!! But, otherwise, I'm excited to read it and see what the story entails. I had never heard of it until I found it on Amazon, and I made slightly swift work of purchasing it for myself. Rohan isn't one of my all-time favourite characters, but I do love him and he's a pretty solid fella. (He's also a mangaka, which is to be respected all on its own~) I recommend this to anyone who's looking for a nice collector's piece to add to their JoJo's collection!!

Great for a spin-off

Kind of short, but it's a neat one-shot. Kind of feels like a short story that would be right at home in Jojo part 4, only it just happens to take place in France, not Morioh. A fun read, and Araki's art style is great as ever. A nice collector's item for a fan of the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure series, as well, with it being a hard cover.

Beautiful, dark and moving art from Araki

It would be very helpful to the reader to have previously read JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4 - Diamond is Unbreakable to understand who Rohan is and what he can do. In the book he explains that he's a mangaka with "a curious ability, of little use and of no great importance"' with a single illustrative panel to explain that he can read people. I can imagine new readers to be completely baffled by this. But that aside, this is a beautifully illustrated story that celebrates art and the discovery of it even in the grotesque. The pages are large and in color, it's in English and it's dirt cheap! Any fan of Araki's art should own it.

Hirohiko Araki - is a genious!

I got this book in a very good condition and i'm happy! I love every work from this author. At least he's my favourite mangaka! An excellent plot that he always did you can see here, in this graphic novel about mangaka Kishibe Rohan that travelled to the Louvre, to find out about mysterious and bizzare things, that happening there for some reason. I recommend this to all the JJBA fans and any other people who tired of default and boring shonen manga! Regards.

Wonderfully Araki

I'm a huge fan of JoJo's bizarre adventure, and Rohan is one of my favorite characters so I was excited to finally pick this up and give it a read. The art is phenomenal, as I expected and it was entertaining all the way through because of that. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is for the actual story - it is a fun and interesting premise for a short story, but the ending doesn't make a whole lot of sense. This could be because I didn't understand it, or maybe that the translation to English wasn't the best. Not sure, but I still recommend it for any fans!

Rohan and Heven's Door are back!

Manga artist Hirohiko Araki's work expressed in this story feels just as beautiful as any JoJo art book. Fully colored and filled with mystery and the past of Jojo's part 4 Rohan Kishibe, this feels like a very reasonably priced addition to any fan's collection! A story that could be enjoyed with or without the context of JoJo's, 'Rohan at the Louvre' is a stand alone adventure from cover to cover.

A very interesting side story to JJBA: DIU!

A unique mystery staring Diamond is Unbreakable's Rohan Kishibe and written by JoJo's Bizarre Adventure creator, Hirohiko Araki! It all revolves around this dark painting that's stored in the depths of the Louvre in Paris. I really didn't expect the ending at all! I recommend this to any JJBA fan!

A good purchase!!

If you love the Jojo series, it's definitely worth the purchase! I greatly enjoyed reading it, the story was really interesting!

As usual, Hirohiko Araki-sensei pushes boundaries

I would recommend familiarity with Araki-sensei's work before reading this, otherwise you will likely be unnecessarily confused. Regardless, you will be confronted with his attempt to depict the Louvre and its "high" art in a form which is considered "low" art in the west. Considering the ample respect commanded by sequential art in Japan, Araki-sensei creates a complex commentary on the nature of art through this overlap. Depicting a famous location through a celebrated medium despite its being set in a place which doesn't celebrate the medium allows Araki-sensei to begin a postmodern conversation through the work as only he can.

Worth it but short!

A manga designed as an art book? Amazing! but its around three chapters long on a jojo scale sadly but the full color and the art is worth it.

An excellent short story.

It's quite short, but packed with great art and good storytelling. If you're expecting an action-filled romp as the mainline Jojo manga, this won't satisfy. It's more along the lines of mystery and horror, and what it does in its short run, it does quite well. Excellent artwork as usual. Worth a purchase for a Jojo fan.

Great story, high quality book

This book is a fun little story. I was a little confused my first read-through, but it is a quick read so I re-read it and appreciate it a lot more. I still will re-read it sometimes, because it's just great. I wasn't the biggest Rohan fan after part 4, but this and Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan made me like him more. The cover is a nice material and is very smooth. The pages are good quality too and are all colored beautifully. If your a Jojo fan, you should definitely buy this.

Rohan is a great character but you wont get too much of his ...

Rohan at the Louvre can only be fully appreciated by Jojo fans. Rohan is a great character but you wont get too much of his character here as it is a side story that begins after Jojo Part 4. The book focuses on Rohan with beautiful imagery on every page. The story is dark, like any jojo fan would expect and i recommend this to any Jojo fan to add to their collection. The only stipulation would be, that you have already read Part 4 Diamond Is Unbreakable first. The book is larger than normal manga books and is hardcover.

A short but good read that doesn’t compromise

I was very happy to find this manga. As a Jojo fan it’s pretty frustrating to see the slow release of the volume releases, so to have a side-story of a character from a part that hasn’t fully released is a great feeling. Also bonus points for keeping the manga read right to left rather than flipping to fit with western standards. I’m reading Akira right now and it’s frustrating to read it left to right instead of how it was written and imagined.

Araki is Amazing and never fails to disappoint

Rohan is my favorite character to come from JJBA PT 4 and seeing a manga about him obviously made me purchase this immediately. But as I read it many times I was simply stunned by the amazing art from Araki-sensei. He always does a phenomenal job at conveying emotions and drawing people but even the backgrounds contribute alot to the atmosphere of what's currently going on in the story. At times it was serene and peaceful and others it was dire and grim. I highly recommend this to any Jojo's fan even if you didn't like Rohan. As a side story it was an amazing piece.

Always a good time always enjoyable

Araki is my favourite Mangaka. And this graphic novel didn't disappoint. I loved the art of young Rohan, and of well any Rohan drawing. Rohan's one of my favourite characters in JoJo's so I definitely enjoyed the novel. The story telling that Araki conveys is just always a good time and always enjoyable and I love to re-read or watch again and again. I did read it all in one day though lololol

Excellent product! I got this as part of my Jojo manga collection and the book is so beautiful! (Not to mention Hirohiko Araki is a genius and the story is beyond excellent!) Would highly recommend!

Araki never disappoints!

Its amazing. I love the fact that its hardcover, and the colors and art are perfect.

A must need for a Jojo fan

This is truly a great work of art and story. The story was great and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Rohan is a great character and I recommend this for anyone who is a Jojo fan.

the writing and art of Hirohiko Araki is in perfect form, this is Jojolion-era art

As always, the writing and art of Hirohiko Araki is in perfect form, this is Jojolion-era art, the most recent part of the primary series. When he's given the opportunity to spend as much time as he wants on the art, it turns out absolutely phenomenal. If you love JoJo, if you love Rohan from part 4 you need to read this. The translation is good, preserves all of the character and personality of our leading man, and even has translations included for things like the french text and Japanese onomatopoeia without covering anything in the panels, which is a nice touch. The colors differ significantly from the official color scans released in japan, instead the colors are muted and gentle with bright and vibrant colors used to highlight significant moments. Overall, it's a wonderful little extra and I look forward to more of them in the future.

Purchased as a gift.

Bought this as a gift for my son, he loved it, great purchase. Received on time, too. Thank you!

Awesome

Beautiful art The story is a little bit of a different vibe than JoJo tends to be, or at least the first half, but it's worth getting. Great use of color too, I got it as a gift and now I don't want to give it up

Great book

I haven't finished the book, but it's interesting, and the art is great. The book also was made well. It's a sturdy hardcover with highly saturated illustrations.

Worth the purchase

Beautiful artwork and interesting story! However, the hardcover was damaged during shipping so I’m rather disappointed with that. Besides the warped edge, it’s worth the purchase.

This one shot features all of the crazy twists and turns that you'd expect from jojo's bizarre adventure! I bought it for the significance...did you know Araki's work was one of the first few manga pieces featured at the Louvre?

My son was thrilled to get this, and loved reading it.

It's a short story, so my son got through it very quickly, but he has enjoyed reading it multiple times.

p good

Came very fast and I'm never disappointed by Araki's illustration works. This book is fully coloured which was a shock considering I don't exactly expect most manga books to be fully coloured like this. It was such a treat to get this in the mail and be able to read this. Thank you

Beautiful Work!

I've always loved Araki's work and this is no exception. Beautifully translated, glossy thick pages and a lovely cover. The visuals are beautiful as ever and the story is just as compelling as the rest of Araki's work. Great story, great art, and amazingly produced.

and that makes it all the better. Each page is illustrated in beautiful

This book is huge! Definitely not your average manga work, and that makes it all the better. Each page is illustrated in beautiful, vivid colors, and the large pages keep Araki's captivating art style center-stage. Although Kindles, and other electronic devices are great, this is just one of those books that's better to experience up-close and personal!

Must for a Jojo fan

Beautiful artwork, thrilling twist and the paper quality is nice

Great

Great

Its okay

I dont care for Rohan much when it comes to Jojo but I can see why Araki loves this character

Amazing manga, great read! Poor shipping though

Amazing manga. Really poorly packaged and the product was slightly damaged in shipping

Any JoJo fan will, at least, like it.

Okay, so the story is kinda crappy and ends in a deus ex machina which is not that uncommon for Araki, but it's still great. It's big, hardcover, beautifully drawn, wonderfully colored, featuring the cool as always Rohan who travels to Paris... It's really a must have for any Jojo fan. Non-fans will probably not enjoy it but that's okay. For less than $20 it's a really good deal.

Wonderful gift, fast delivery

This art book is a masterpiece. It include various artworks of Hirohiko and his Gucci collab. Wonderful gift, fast delivery, no problems.

Beautiful, worth it

I'm so excited to read it. From just skimming, the art looks absolutely exquisite. There was a small dent on the book from shipping. but besides that, so worth it.

Rohan

Beautiful art and I enjoyed the story. Rohan is a great character.

thank you!

shipping was so fast! i only had to wait about a day for it to arrive, and it definitely was worth it in my opinion. it was packaged really well, and there were no defects on the outside or inside that i could notice.

Rohan at The louvre

Very good read and gift for anyone who likes JoJos, only downside is it’s not a very long story but that can’t be helped.

Beautiful art and fun spin off story!

My daughter absolutely loved this! The shipping was fast. A++++++

A fantastic Rohan side story.

I love Araki's art style so much, and this Rohan side story is such a treat. It has his usual bizarre style and unusual characters, but its so smart and perfectly paced for a graphic novel of this size. A must have for any Jojo or Araki fan, and certainly recommended to those who enjoy manga and graphic novels. Araki is one of the manga masters no doubt.

Gurato Daze

If you're a fan of Araki or Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, you'll love this book. The art is gorgeous, the story is sharp and interesting and it always makes me happy to see some more Rohan art!

Daga kotowaru

As a huge Rohan fan I was amazed by pretty much everything in the book, the artwork is to die for, and the storyline is cool as hell!

Best manga I've ordered online!

Book was pristine and no marks or scratches in sight. No duwang translations and art looked crisp. Great for any Jojo manga fan or just plain Rohan fan. (if you're into that kinda thing) #purplehazefeedbackOVAnever

A true door to heaven

This book contains some of the best art I have ever seen in a manga format, Araki truly is a master of his craft. The story is gripping as well with an interesting protagonist and a solid mystery. I do suggest that you read or watch Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Parts 1-4 as you may not understand concepts and characters present in the book.

The best character in a great story

This is a great book for people looking to scratch that Rohan itch after they finish Part 4 of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. I recommend it completely.

Good... but

very nice manga but its really big it reminds me of a childrens book but other then that totally worth every penny

Nice

Very good read, good for any JJBA fan.

Exquisite, even if you're not a Jojo fan!

Really this book is wonderful. The art is pure eye candy. The book moves in sort of 'color' themes, in that every 20 pages or so has one main color (like orange, pink or blue...) and it really gives it such a good flavor throughout. To be honest I haven't read the story yet so I can't say much about it. But this book is even good as just an art book! It's printing is beautiful and the hardcover makes it really nice. I find a lot of inspiration in Araki's drawing...

Good!

I'm very pleased with Rohan at the Louvre. I've always been a big fan of JoJo, so when I heard that it was coming out in English, I was ecstatic. The discount and early shipping were just icing on the cake. There are a handful of minor grammatical errors, but nothing that will prevent one from enjoying this unique little story. Hirohiko Araki is the patron saint of illustration combined with tension-building storytelling and just plain weird stuff.

Quality Item

Gorgeous and perfect. The art is beautiful and the colors are vibrant. Amazing hard cover. Absolute 10/10, possibly the best Jojo purchase I have ever made.

Rohan went to the Louvre! (REAL!!!) (NOT CLICKBAIT!!)

The art is beautiful (of course). The colors, designs, etc are all wonderful. The story might not appeal to some, but I enjoyed it! It came in great condition. 10/10

great quality on all fronts!

my friend LOVED it, wonderful quality. great read, great story. 10/10

Good quality book

Exactly what is advertised

Must Buy if you can’t get enough JoJo

If you are a JoJo fan and you simply cannot get enough like me, this is definitely a must buy. I wish more of these JoJo one shots were released in English.

I love it <3

I love it! Imagine how much time it took for Araki to make this manga. The only thing I didn't like is that the spine was a little damaged but other than that I love it!

Perfect gift for anyone - Jojo fan or not

If you love Jojo, please just get it. This book will make so much more sense if you already know who Rohan is (from Diamond is Unbreakable). Knowing who he is isn't the most important thing for this. You can read it without knowing anything about Jojo. You just wont recognize some of the characters later on and you might think they're random high schoolers hanging around town. Its a very dark toned story. I mean the art is bright, but the plot is dark. It's pretty cool, actually. It makes a good gift for anyone. It's in full color too! I love that you can see the strokes from the copic markers. The only thing I don't like? It has a really bad chemical smell. Usually in these color mangas you have to put your face on the book to smell it, but this smell was really strong. I could smell it even when I was holing it away from me. But I think it just needs to be aired out. There's a few twists in the story even for Jojo fans. If you know the basic story of Jojo and the deal with Stands, then its kinda predictable and you know where its going, but there are a few things that I didn't see coming. If you don't know about Stands, and/or you're unfamiliar with the basic plot of Jojo in general post Phantom Blood... buckle up. It's a wild ride.

Its Nice

I like that its hard cover and the story. There's nothing that I dislike from this.

Stunning

Beautiful colored artwork tagged along with a great story line makes is a must read for any JoJo fan.

While the story left a bit to be desired when compared to other works by Araki, the artwork is right up there with some of his best works. It is also nice to have a graphic novel by a "mangaka" that is printed in color. Wonderful addition to my collection of Araki art and Manga.

amazing read, and even better art !

if you enjoy the works of hirohiko araki , you'll love this book !! as an avid fan of jojo's bizarre adventure , i can definitely recommend this ! all the pages are colored !

Kids book

In between the beautiful artwork and the fascinating story

In between the beautiful artwork and the fascinating story, this book deserves a place in the collections of Jojo and graphic novel fans.

Very nice

The quality is very nice. So excited for this graphic novel.

Wonderful Short story filled to the brim with an Impossible to mimic artstyle.

Being a fan of the series this branches from (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) I was immediately interested in this offshoot and I must say it really is worth the money. Each page is beautifully done with a very unique and spectacular style that this series is known for and all in Color to boot. The story is a real page turner and before you know it you've finished. If you love manga and are looking for something unique please give this a read, it is well worth the price.

Jojo op

I love jojo that's it

Excellent short story featuring Rohan Kishibe

Very good Rohan short story, with large, colorful illustrations. Only wish more of Rohan's short stories were translated into English.

Another great piece by Araki

Another great piece by Araki. While I recommend you read the series the original series this is based off of(JoJo's Bizarre Adventure), this spin-off title is great on its own. Artwork is fantastic as expected, and the story was very interesting. Its a must buy for any JoJo fans/manga fans looking for a fantastic artist.

Love it

Lovely weird art and story I've come to love and expect from Araki. Great buy for any jojo fan

For Rohan Lovers

Gorgeous artwork from Araki as always, book arrived in nice condition.

This book has a really nice art style and story

This book has a really nice art style and story. A fun read for after Diamond Is Unbreakable / Part 4.

Araki is a master of his craft

Beautifully illustrated book with a neat story, a little shorter than I was expecting though.

Four Stars

Fantastic story.

Five Stars

Incredible work by Araki. You will not be dissappointed.

Giftable

A beautiful short story, would make a great gift

Five Stars

The story was good. The art is beautiful. The book was in great condition when it came.

Terrific!!!

Awesome for any Araki fan, especially if they're already familiar with part 4 of JoJo and Rohan! It reads just like a chapter from the main manga and the art is beautiful in full color. I would not advise for kids tho as there are some parts with gore/near nudity.

the best investment of my life

Quality at% 100 in all! I LOVE IT!!!!!!

He was really there.

Rohan was there. He was at the Louvre.

Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe

Great art from a favorite. The story follows a more generic horror path than what is usually expected from Araki and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. It is still very fun and beautiful to look at.

Great to any JoJos fan!

Beautiful artwork and story, as expected from Araki. Translated in English.

Jojos bizzare adventure

Awesome for any Jojo fan.

A must read for jojo fans

Its a one-shot of the famous manga artist kishibe rohan

Five Stars

Fantastic. JoJo (Part) 4 Ever.

Came in quick and and exactly what I needed

Came in quick and and exactly what I needed

i love you rohan

beautiful artwork!

Good, but for certain people

The book is very good, only with a few minor translation issues, but it obviously isn't for most people. Even fans of Araki's work could only know about the character if they read the non-english or unofficially translated versions of his work, so for others it'll be more confusing.

Thank you!

I am a big fan of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and was wanting to read this story about Rohan Kishibe, and was really surprised to find out that it was published in America.

Good product bad service

The book is fun to read, a nice story about the one and only legend himself, rohan kishibe. However, the arrival was scheduled sometime between may 10 to 17 and it had arrived on the 18th, it was shipped very late.

Great for your Jojo fan!

A lovely hard cover manga book with brilliant color work! It's a great add on to the Jojo Collection and an interesring read as far as plot.

Five Stars

Rohan reminds me of Michael Jackson sometimes.

I would have given this five stars if it was ...

I would have given this five stars if it was a little bit bigger. My wife was looking for something closer to my size and girth. But I can't vibrate.

Buy it.

It is the best. Better than Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece put together. BUY IT NOW OR ELSE YOU WILL REGRET IT FOREVER!!!

Rohan Rocks!

I loved this book. "Rohan at the Louvre" reminds me of a Poe poem brought to life, almost the Casque of Amontilado, this time, the Art of Araki brings the same intense feeling of dread, release, and love lost. The art is stunning, and the story is evocative of much, much, more. The question of what art is, is central to the story. What emotion does art evoke in its' viewers? What inspired the art? What part does the art play in history? The last painting by Nizaemon was so much more, was a mystery unlike any other. Reading this reminds me of the Black Museum radio series, actually, this could be an episode of such. The book is a good example of exactly why NBM has risen to the top of the graphic novel realm. Their Papercutz products are award winning, and these should be too. This comes highly recommended for art (almost Gil Kanish), story telling, and the international favor it brings to our book shelves. Tim Lasiuta

so it'll be good for part of his JoJo corrections

it's birthday gift to my brother who living in Japan. He has Japanese version of this, so it'll be good for part of his JoJo corrections, I thought. I was very disappointed when I got this because no plastic cover or anything to protecting the book and feels like not very new to me. well, might be new, but nothing to proved it.

Never go to the Louvre cuz its haunted or

Don't talk to weird chicks with emotional problems, specially if they get bothered by just looking at them or throw themselves all over you. For no reason. This book is in big print, full color and as a short story. It is nice and beautiful, but weird... It narrates Rohan's (protagonists) horrible experience at the Louvre museum. Oh, and Rohan's grandma sucks. Pretty much.

the art was beautiful. Story was

As expected of Araki-sensei, the art was beautiful. Story was...interesting but kinda weird, which was to be expected. The book was bigger and printed on better quality paper than I had though, and the color was great. Would recommend to Jojo fans, but not really to other people, since the story wouldn't make sense without background knowledge about Stands, especially Rohan's. Anyone who's finished the series up to part 4, or at least Rohan's debut arc would probably get the story.

Phenomenal! Life changing!

I love it! The art is phenomenal! The plot is mesmerizing! Couldn't have made a better purchase!

amazing

This is a must have for your art collection. If you appreciate art, you will definitely enjoy this stunning work by Hirohiko Araki.

awesome

It's a real good manga, I love the art style, the story wasn't bad, it will make more sense if you finished Jojo's Bizarre Adventure part 4

great purchase, great pictures and translations. 10/10

really good story and beautifully illustrated. 100/10 really recommend this arrived very quickly. great for any jojo fan and easy to read in the manga reading format.

Great find

Great book a hard to find get it if you love jojo

10/10 actually made me like rohan more

Very good manga. Heaven's Door is broken, but the story its good.

A really good side story.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is up there with my favourite manga series. Rohan At The Louvre has little to no relation to the story of JoJo, however it is set in the JoJo universe. This is a really short and great story which focuses on the character Rohan Kishibe fromJJBA: Diamond Is Unbreakable. The story shows Rohan in his younger days living in an inn where he meets a mysterious girl who he secretly uses for character reference in his art. Rohan then finds out about the most Evil Painting, which is located at the Louvre in Paris. Years later, Rohan decides to locate the most Evil Painting. JoJo fans will definitely love this short story.

The book is made wrong. The bag should be the front and the front of the book should be the back ?!

The back page should be the front and visa versa the book is back to front ???

Enjoyable Gem of a book!

If you enjoy graphic novels. If you follow the work of Hirohiko Araki it's a must have !

ROHAN GOOD

ROHAN YES ROHAN YES

As I enjoyed it, I also bought a second copy for ...

Colourful and interesting side story to the main series Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. As I enjoyed it, I also bought a second copy for a friend.

Came on time and was what i wanted

Came in good condition, its been well translated and coloured and honestly i wish it was longer because it was really a nice and memorable read

Great product would recommend

Came in perfect condition, amazing price too

5 Stars

A must-have for any hardcore JoJo-fan!

The Perfect Collectors Item for Jojo Fans

The Graphic Novel came in excelent condition. The size, design of the cover, art and surreal story denotes that Mr. Araki clearly put his all to showcase this at the Louvre in France. Evidently, this piece of artwork is destinied to Jojo fans or those who simply love the Rohan character; either way, even if you have not read Jojo's Bizarre Adventure or you do not have any other of the volumes, this will look excelent in your bookshelf or some special spot in your library.

Neat piece of Araki's work at a low price

The color a beautiful and the binding is sturdy. Nice short story. Just a shame that the french version (which I think is the original by Musée du Louvre Éditions) is $15 pricier on here, I would have gotten that one if it was at the same price. Very satisfied!

Leitura incrível

O traço do autor evoluiu muito com o tempo e ele caprichou nessa graphic novel. Cada página é desenhada com muito cuidado a cada detalhe, e a história te envolve, além de ser um spin-off de um personagem muito amado da franquia.

Beautiful illustrations

Love that it is basically written backwards according to western world standards excellent illustration and quality great gift for anyone who loves a graphic novel

Immenso Araki!
