An unexpected assignment, a jealous ex, and game-changing serum trigger unanticipated risks in a dangerous race against the clock. Rory Costas, Arcane Transporter, finds herself babysitting a trio of bad-ass Arbiters, including the highly distracting Zev Aslanov, as they track down a magical serum that shouldn't exist and a killer who's targeting the researchers behind it. As if that wasn’t enough for the fledgling Arcane entrepreneur to handle, the growing attraction to Zev is shifting into potential relationship territory, a terrifying road that could expose her lifelong secret behind her magical ability. But that’s not the only hazard ahead. One of the Arbiters is Zev’s ex-girlfriend and she’s not ready to put Zev in her rearview just yet. Dodging Family rivalries and mad scientists out for blood, Rory is blindsided by an unexpected turn and it’s going to take more than magic to get her back on track.

Sooo good!

I'm enjoying the hell out of this series 💖. Well written with a pulse pounding pace, this is one of those books you can't put down, and even though you hate to turn the last page, it is satisfyingly complete. Excited to get to the last book 🙂

Beautifully written

This story is over the top amazing! Arcane magic and excitement on overload. I loved it and can't wait to read the next book. I really wish there were more than three. I want this series to never end. Amazing characters, who grab you and don't let go. Wonderful job, author.

Kept me hooked from the get go

I really enjoyed the writing, and the mystery kept me guessing all the way through. This is as fast paced as the first book, and the subtle romance was refreshing. Definitely will be reading the next one! Stormy B

Love this series

I'm enjoying this series and will read the next one. Just wish it didnt take so long for the next book. I love the main character.

Fast ride

There's plenty of magic and action in these books, plus a good romance. This book turned a bit darker than the first, with too many mad scientists and dangerous experimental drugs trialed on unwilling victims. Aside from that, this series is a great urban fantasy. I strongly recommend it for fans of Ilona Andrews' Hidden Legacies series.

WOW!

This book was incredible! It holds everything I enjoy in a suspenseful, intense package. A gorgeous heroine, with extreme power, which even she hasn’t fully realized, supernatural layers of endless magic, a romance intertwined, deliberately well into the story, an ongoing “nail biting”, level of suspense & all staged in a world of the most powerful magical elite, at the top of all society. Yes, that’s a mouthful, but doesn’t even completely identify all that’s there. I love stories with a supernatural basis, where the most powerful being is a beautiful woman, who is finding out how she fits into her current role in her own reality. I’m also a career auto mechanic with a small collection of high powered, gas burning toys. Rory, just happens to own, a magic ability, which enables her to physically & energetically become one, with any vehicle she chooses to drive. That’s a serious bonus for me. I had more fun reading this second book & hope there is more of her story to follow in my near future. If u like intense action, magical beings & suspense, this is your kind of book. Much fun!

Better than the first

Once again this struck me as a PI novel first and paranormal second and I liked it even better than the first novel in the series. More was revealed about the world, the politics and the types of magic. There was plenty of action, alliances were formed and a romance has begun. It will be interesting to see how Rory fits into this world, learn more about her powers and possibly find out about her beginnings.

Risky Goods, 2 of series

Risky Goods, book 2 of the Arcane Transport series, as a book I borrowed through Kindle Unlimited (KU). Twists and turns made this second book in the Arcane Transporter series a great read (I read books 1 and 2 in a single day). The paranormal world-building is creative, and I enjoyed the various supernatural talents--such as the transporter who has an ability to remember where they are on a map and become mentally-merged with their vehicle's movement. This is a series that could easily span multiple stories as the transporter concept has so many possibilities.

Risky Goods

I wrote a good review because I liked the book a lot and Jami Gray has caught my attention as a Author with a very good imagination. I love reading but if I wrote a book I would have to be a good researcher and I wasn't very good student until 12th grade and College. I guess I was a late bloomer. Kit Ryan
