You guys....this cookbook is amazing. I followed Mary on Instagram and my husband and I have loved every recipe we've tried of hers, so I knew I HAD to get her cookbook. I've made 3 (#4 is in the crockpot) and we've enjoyed them so much! What do I love most? 1. There are pictures with 99.9% of the recipes - who wants to make a recipe without a picture?! 2. I have 99.9% of the ingredients in my home. There aren't anything foreign - I've been paleo for a few years, but I think even for someone starting out nothing is too outrageous! 3. The time it takes to prep is MINIMAL. She is clearly a MOM! I can prep during nap, or do it fast enough to be able to track my 1 year old down. 4. The recipes taste delicious! My husband gets so excited to try the next recipe from the book because they've all been great. 5. It's been a great way to mix up my normal routine and try new recipes. I truly never write reviews - I wrote one to get a giftcard, but I am getting NOTHING for this - and I never buy cookbooks, but after trying her recipes from her blog I had to give it a go. This is as honest of a review you will see! Get it. I hope you enjoy it as much as we have so far!

Amazing Clean Recipes!

This cookbook is SUCH a gem! I’m a busy mom of soon-to-be 3 boys. The faster I can get dinner prepped and cooking the better. Love that all these recipes only require 5-15 minutes of hands on time! Great allergy friendly and clean diet friendly recipes. Especially love all the low carb/keto friendly ones. All recipes my kids will love too!

Faboulous, quick, family-pleasing recipes!

We're a "paleo-ish" family with three young kids. Even though we don't eat strictly paleo, having go-to, clean and easy meals that the whole family will eat and don't take me long to prepare is KEY to actually getting food on the table. Mary really hits the nail on the head with her recipes for our family. I haven't bought a lot of cookbooks in recent years, but this is a must have on my shelf especially for when I just can't think through cooking yet another dinner for my hungry family. With a mix of stovetop, oven, and instant pot/slow cooker recipes, there's something for any dinner prep scenario in this book. And she doesn't use any wild ingredients, just stuff that anyone vaguely following a grain-free or paleo diet will already have in their fridge and pantry.

Let me just preface this by saying I NEVER have spent money on a cookbook. They have all been too complicated and just didn’t fit into my familys food preferences. I’ve been making and enjoying Mary’s blog recipes since I found out about my celiac, so I knew I had to buy this book. I’ve had the book for a week and have already made 6 of the recipes... made the cottage pie bowls recipe tonight! I am blown away by how delicious, yet easy, these recipes are! I have most of the ingredients on hand and the hands on/hands off time makes cooking fit into our busy schedules. My family and I can’t get enough of these meals. I highly recommend this cookbook- even if it’s the only one you buy!

I first found Mary on Instagram while doing a round of whole30. While I’m not paleo, or gluten free, I still keep her recipes on CONSTANT rotation... they are just THAT good. They don’t feel like a sacrifice or a punishment like some health conscious recipes can be. The cookbook is beautiful and full of so many healthy delicious recipes. I can’t wait to cook my way through the whole book! Thank you so much, Mary, for always giving us delicious, healthy recipes that are simple and doable! No crazy ingredients and no hours spent daily in the kitchen. You’re the best and so is your cookbook!

I’ve been following Mary for about a year and a half on instagram and making her recipes regularly, so when she announced her new cookbook, I had to order a copy! There are so many things I love about this book: every recipe had a picture, the instructions are detailed but uncomplicated, the ingredients are simple and fresh, and her helpful hints and tips are actually helpful! I’ve made two recipes since getting the book a week or so ago and both have been delicious. I can’t wait to cook my way through this book! Worth adding: I do not regularly eat paleo, W30 or GF, but her food is just so good I enjoy eating this way!

There isn’t a single recipe that my family won’t eat, it will just be hard to choose which one to try first! Most all of the meals have minimal ingredients too making it budget friendly. Even if you’re not following a Paleo diet you NEED this book!

For the the past 3 years I have abided by a paleo diet off and on. A lot of times I ended up being derailed because I was overwhelmed. Time consuming recipes (busy mom of three here) and feeling like I had to buy a million expensive staples for my pantry have probably been my top two frustrations. Recently, I decided it was time to get back on track and focus my efforts on eating whole foods. About 2-3 months ago, I had seen some influencers on Instagram talking about Quick Prep Paleo. I looked it up and added it to my “save for later”. I’m always buying Paleo cookbooks that I end up not using so I wanted to think about it first. I was searching Pinterest for some dinner recipes and found Mary’s Scalloped Potatoes and Rueben in a Bowl recipes. Once I made those recipes it sealed the deal and I purchased Quick Prep Paleo immediately! I have never used a cookbook SO MUCH! I’ve had cookbooks for years that I barely made any recipes out of. In the last few weeks, I’ve already made 12 recipes from this book and every single one I had been amazing and we have several favorites that are already on repeat for the weekly meal plan! Mary is honestly a genius! She’s found a way to put healthy, affordable, flavor packed meals on the table with minimal work! You NEED this book!

Go-To Cookbook for easy & delicious Paleo/Whole 30 cooking! Get it!

I was looking for some simple yummy dinners to help me stay on track with mostly paleo/Whole 30 clean eating. I had tried & loved a couple of recipes on the Mary’s Whole Life blog and decided to go for it with the cookbook. So incredibly happy with that decision! Since getting the cookbook I have used it for 75% of my meal planning and we’ve loved every recipe we’ve tried so far and will make them all again! My absolute favorite so far is the smothered pork chops but it’s hard to pick which one we like best. I check out quickly if recipes get too complicated and all of these for sure fit the “quick prep” description but create amazing meals that taste like they were much more involved. So far we have devoured the cashew chicken & green bean stir fry, spinach artichoke chicken casserole, creamy bolognese, “cheesy” mashed potatoes, ranch crusted pork tenderloin & sausage potato broccoli sheet pan dinner. There is not one yet that we haven’t loved. I have so many more flagged for my meal planning in the weeks to come. Can’t wait to eat my way through this whole cookbook. Previously I burned out very quickly with clean eating meal planning or got bored with the same few recipes, but with this cookbook it’s been so easy to stay on track with such a variety of delicious & easy meals. Highly recommend!

In the last few weeks, I’ve already made 12 recipes from this book and every single one I had been amazing and we have several favorites that are already on repeat for the weekly meal plan! Mary is honestly a genius! She’s found a way to put healthy, affordable, flavor packed meals on the table with minimal work! You NEED this book!

Go-To Cookbook for easy & delicious Paleo/Whole 30 cooking! Get it!

I was looking for some simple yummy dinners to help me stay on track with mostly paleo/Whole 30 clean eating. I had tried & loved a couple of recipes on the Mary’s Whole Life blog and decided to go for it with the cookbook. So incredibly happy with that decision! Since getting the cookbook I have used it for 75% of my meal planning and we’ve loved every recipe we’ve tried so far and will make them all again! My absolute favorite so far is the smothered pork chops but it’s hard to pick which one we like best. I check out quickly if recipes get too complicated and all of these for sure fit the “quick prep” description but create amazing meals that taste like they were much more involved. So far we have devoured the cashew chicken & green bean stir fry, spinach artichoke chicken casserole, creamy bolognese, “cheesy” mashed potatoes, ranch crusted pork tenderloin & sausage potato broccoli sheet pan dinner. There is not one yet that we haven’t loved. I have so many more flagged for my meal planning in the weeks to come. Can’t wait to eat my way through this whole cookbook. Previously I burned out very quickly with clean eating meal planning or got bored with the same few recipes, but with this cookbook it’s been so easy to stay on track with such a variety of delicious & easy meals. You guys....this cookbook is amazing. I followed Mary on Instagram and my husband and I have loved every recipe we've tried of hers, so I knew I HAD to get her cookbook. I've made 3 (#4 is in the crockpot) and we've enjoyed them so much! What do I love most? 1. There are pictures with 99.9% of the recipes - who wants to make a recipe without a picture?! 2. I have 99.9% of the ingredients in my home. There aren't anything foreign - I've been paleo for a few years, but I think even for someone starting out nothing is too outrageous! 3. The time it takes to prep is MINIMAL. She is clearly a MOM! I can prep during nap, or do it fast enough to be able to track my 1 year old down. 4. The recipes taste delicious! My husband gets so excited to try the next recipe from the book because they've all been great. 5. It's been a great way to mix up my normal routine and try new recipes. I truly never write reviews - I wrote one to get a giftcard, but I am getting NOTHING for this - and I never buy cookbooks, but after trying her recipes from her blog I had to give it a go. This is as honest of a review you will see! Get it. I hope you enjoy it as much as we have so far!

Amazing Clean Recipes!

This cookbook is SUCH a gem! I’m a busy mom of soon-to-be 3 boys. The faster I can get dinner prepped and cooking the better. Love that all these recipes only require 5-15 minutes of hands on time! Great allergy friendly and clean diet friendly recipes. Especially love all the low carb/keto friendly ones. All recipes my kids will love too!

Faboulous, quick, family-pleasing recipes!

We're a "paleo-ish" family with three young kids. Even though we don't eat strictly paleo, having go-to, clean and easy meals that the whole family will eat and don't take me long to prepare is KEY to actually getting food on the table. Mary really hits the nail on the head with her recipes for our family. I haven't bought a lot of cookbooks in recent years, but this is a must have on my shelf especially for when I just can't think through cooking yet another dinner for my hungry family. With a mix of stovetop, oven, and instant pot/slow cooker recipes, there's something for any dinner prep scenario in this book. And she doesn't use any wild ingredients, just stuff that anyone vaguely following a grain-free or paleo diet will already have in their fridge and pantry.

DELICIOUS and simple!!

Let me just preface this by saying I NEVER have spent money on a cookbook. They have all been too complicated and just didn’t fit into my familys food preferences. I’ve been making and enjoying Mary’s blog recipes since I found out about my celiac, so I knew I had to buy this book. I’ve had the book for a week and have already made 6 of the recipes... made the cottage pie bowls recipe tonight! I am blown away by how delicious, yet easy, these recipes are! I have most of the ingredients on hand and the hands on/hands off time makes cooking fit into our busy schedules. My family and I can’t get enough of these meals. I highly recommend this cookbook- even if it’s the only one you buy!

It’s a hit

I’ve followerd Mary through her blog and Instagram for a few years and was so happy to hear she wrote a cookbook. I preordered as soon as possible and was very excited when the book was finally published. I’m a stay at home mom with six kids under the age of 7 and my husband is Active Duty and works long hours. This year has been rough with homeschooling my two older boys and a newborn and my desire to plan meals or even cook has evaporated. This cookbook has been a godsend. All the recipes are flavorful, easy, and contain ingredients I already have on hand. Since getting it in November, I’ve made 11 dishes and have another three planned for this week. The smothered pork chops was a huge hit. 2020 has been rough on all of us. Do yourself a favor and buy this cookbook to nourish your body with quick and healthy recipes.

Simple Delicious Paleo

Paleo simplified and so delicious!! Mary’s recipes have made paleo approachable for my family, and as someone who needs to eat gluten free for health reasons, this is such a huge win. I have been making separate meals for YEARS. Her cookbook and blog have simplified my life and are helping my whole family eat healthier. I also apprecIate how she used ingredients that are easy to find and that many of the recipes can be thrown together quickly. The only cookbook you’ll ever need

Let me start by saying I have a LOT of cookbooks. Nothing beats the aesthetic of a nice cookbook, I just love looking at the pictures and recipes and flagging each recipe I want to try. This cookbook is hands down the most well loved (and I’ve only have it a month or so!). These recipes are incredible delicious, nutritious, and EASY! These recipes are just so simple and easy to put together after work (I work long hours in health care and have no problem coming home and creating a delicious meal for my family). I’ve made 6-7 meals so far and they have all been amazing. I’m not a strict paleo eater but I love that all her meals are healthy and simple. I should also point out that she never uses obscure ingredients or things that are hard to find - I really appreciate that. This cookbook will become a staple in your household - I promise!!! Do yourself a favor and get this book!

Amazing recipes!

I do not follow a paleo diet though I have followed Mary on Instagram for a while now. Every recipe in this book has a beautiful picture and every recipe looks delicious! I have only tried one recipe so far, but it was fantastic and everyone in my family, including my picky eaters, devoured their dish (hash brown sausage gravy casserole)! I cannot wait to try the other recipes and fully plan on making every recipe in this book.

If you follow a Paleo diet, this book is a must have !

I reserved my copy of Mary’s book and was so happy to receive it in November. I feel my best when I eat Paleo as I have a gluten intolerance (not celiac) and also avoid dairy. During the month of December I used this cookbook for all of my meals. I chose 3 recipes (breakfast , lunch and dinner) on Sundays , food shopped, then came home and meal prepped for the week. The recipes are super simple and in most cases I already had most ingredients in my freezer and pantry. The recipes are easy to follow and do not take long to prepare. I am so happy to report that by the end of December I lost 11.2 pounds and more importantly feel amazing. I know this book is not intended for weight loss , it’s about eating whole, healthy foods and for me cleared up a lot of inflammation I had. My joint pain is gone and my energy level is so much better!

Favorite Paleo Book

This is absolutely my favorite paleo cookbook I have bought to date. This book has meals that don't take hours to prepare with a bunch of different ingredients. This book is perfect for during the week when need to put a meal together after a long workday. There are some meals in there that take a little bit longer but I love that the book provides estimated time of prep so I can decide when I have more energy to make the longer 15 min prep meals or want to do a quick 5 or 10 min prep. I have made multiple recipes so far and can't wait to try more. Would recommend to anyone trying to be healthier or doing the paleo lifestyle. BUY THIS BOOK!!!

Best, Most Practical Paleo Cookbook Around!

This book is IT! I got it one week ago and have already made 6 recipes - every single one is absolutely delicious, quick and easy to make, and the ingredients are easy to find. I cannot say enough good things about this cookbook--buy this book! It is full of truly fast dinners that my family has loved. It has variety and ingredients that I easily have on hand when I don't plan ahead. Fast and Fabulous Meals

Cooking healthy and quickly always seemed to be opposites but with Mary's recipes it is a no brainer. There are a variety of cooking methods in the book (with alternative methods as appropriate), the prep time is minimal and the food is delicious!!!! Ordered more cookbooks for Christmas presents, many people have wheat allergies and are stumped in preparing meals. Between this book and her website Maryswholelife.com you don't even have to tax your brain to make your family ecstatic.

Best cookbook hands down! -Healthy, quick meals you actually want to eat! - meals are amazing whether you are doing a round of whole 30, eating paleo, GF, dairy free or none of the above. What makes this book so great is you don’t have to cook something separate for your family members because everyone enjoys them. - she recreated a lot of comfort food recipes into a healthier version. - she divided her recipes into ‘hands on’ and ‘hands off ‘ time so you know exactly what your getting into prior to cooking, allowing you to plan ahead better. All meal prep time 15 minutes or less. This is ideal especially during those busy week days. Highly recommend this book and website Mary’s whole life ,which also has a ton of other delicious meals!

Easy and Delicious

Of all the many cookbooks I have purchased over the years, this one is easily my most favorite because of its simplicity. Many books I have purchased in the past have great and flavorful recipes but are not ideal for someone trying to quickly whip up a meal. Maybe it takes more prep time, or maybe you need a speciality ingredient. If you usually eat paleo, you likely already have all the ingredients on hand, but if you don't, the ingredients are simple and easy to find in any grocery store. Needles to say, this book exceeded all my expectations. I've cooked several dishes so far, and they are all easy, quick, and packed with flavor!

I can sum this book up in two words....amazing and delicious! Every recipe is simple and includes clean ingredients that we typically have on hand. My family is clueless that I am serving them healthy meals and I love it! Plus as a working Mom...I can have dinner prepped, cooked and served in roughly 30 minutes. I have purchased additional copies to share with family and friends...it is that good!

I decided to purchase this as I've been following Mary's IG for awhile now, and she always has really great recipes. Sometimes gluten free cookbooks can require a lot of "extras" that you wouldn't necessarily have in your pantry. I love that these recipes aren't difficult like that. This cookbook sticks with simple, whole foods that nourish your body. On busy nights it's easy to pick something that requires little prep, but is tasty and healthy! Can't wait to cook them all

Mary's recipes have made me fall in love with cooking at home. I was apprehensive about going Paleo, but finding her food has made all the difference on my journey. And even as a partial-Paleo eater today, I come back to her recipes again and again. This book is full of recipes for delicious dinners night after night that my husband and I love. She inspired me to get an Instant Pot and I love making the most of my tools. If you're on the fence, BUY THIS BOOK! 5/5!

Best cookbook ever!

This has been, by far, the best cookbook I’ve ever purchased! I waited to write a review until I had tried several recipes and so far they’ve all been a hit, including with my toddler. He actually helps me pick which new recipe we try next. It has been a great way to get the family on a whole food diet (not that we’re being strict about it). And since my son can’t have milk and cheese, it’s also guided me on how to make some old comfort food favorites without feeling like something is missing. Recipes truly are easy to put together without requiring expensive or hard to find ingredients. I really feel like this was put together with the average working family in mind.

easy delicious food

I hate cooking and coming up with delicious food recipes is time consuming and to be honest most of the time I spend hours on line searching the recipes coming up with a meal plan and then never make them. I bought this book because I follow her on IG and it looked easy and delicious, I figured the book price is decent enough that if it became another book on the shelve I didn't use I wouldn't feel too bad. When I received the book I looked over it and was happily surprised on how easy to read it is the ingredients she uses are easy to find at many stores and can be used for multiple recipes which is a money saver ! I love that the food is easy to make and fast and I don't need all this pots and pans that make a huge mess. Also I love the size I keep in on my kitchen counter to grab and reference as I cook. I love this book and recommend it 100%.

Wonderful cookbook for friends and family

Man, where do I begin! First off the books photography is great and yes those actual images are possible with your own cooking! The instructions for each meal is really simplistic. The ingrediants anyone can get at their local grocery store. I love how many of the one pot meals can be broken down into either one pot, instant pot or crock pot. Love the option based on your timing. Can't wait to try more things this year!

You guys....this cookbook is amazing. I followed Mary on Instagram and my husband and I have loved every recipe we've tried of hers, so I knew I HAD to get her cookbook. I've made 3 (#4 is in the crockpot) and we've enjoyed them so much! What do I love most? 1. There are pictures with 99.9% of the recipes - who wants to make a recipe without a picture?! 2. I have 99.9% of the ingredients in my home. There aren't anything foreign - I've been paleo for a few years, but I think even for someone starting out nothing is too outrageous! 3. The time it takes to prep is MINIMAL. She is clearly a MOM! I can prep during nap, or do it fast enough to be able to track my 1 year old down. 4. The recipes taste delicious! My husband gets so excited to try the next recipe from the book because they've all been great. 5. It's been a great way to mix up my normal routine and try new recipes. I truly never write reviews - I wrote one to get a giftcard, but I am getting NOTHING for this - and I never buy cookbooks, but after trying her recipes from her blog I had to give it a go. This is as honest of a review you will see! Get it. I hope you enjoy it as much as we have so far!

Amazing Clean Recipes!

This cookbook is SUCH a gem! I’m a busy mom of soon-to-be 3 boys. The faster I can get dinner prepped and cooking the better. Love that all these recipes only require 5-15 minutes of hands on time! Great allergy friendly and clean diet friendly recipes. Especially love all the low carb/keto friendly ones. All recipes my kids will love too!

Faboulous, quick, family-pleasing recipes!

We're a "paleo-ish" family with three young kids. Even though we don't eat strictly paleo, having go-to, clean and easy meals that the whole family will eat and don't take me long to prepare is KEY to actually getting food on the table. Mary really hits the nail on the head with her recipes for our family. I haven't bought a lot of cookbooks in recent years, but this is a must have on my shelf especially for when I just can't think through cooking yet another dinner for my hungry family. With a mix of stovetop, oven, and instant pot/slow cooker recipes, there's something for any dinner prep scenario in this book. And she doesn't use any wild ingredients, just stuff that anyone vaguely following a grain-free or paleo diet will already have in their fridge and pantry.

Let me just preface this by saying I NEVER have spent money on a cookbook. They have all been too complicated and just didn’t fit into my familys food preferences. I’ve been making and enjoying Mary’s blog recipes since I found out about my celiac, so I knew I had to buy this book. I’ve had the book for a week and have already made 6 of the recipes... made the cottage pie bowls recipe tonight! I am blown away by how delicious, yet easy, these recipes are! I have most of the ingredients on hand and the hands on/hands off time makes cooking fit into our busy schedules. My family and I can’t get enough of these meals. I highly recommend this cookbook- even if it’s the only one you buy!

I first found Mary on Instagram while doing a round of whole30. While I’m not paleo, or gluten free, I still keep her recipes on CONSTANT rotation... they are just THAT good. They don’t feel like a sacrifice or a punishment like some health conscious recipes can be. The cookbook is beautiful and full of so many healthy delicious recipes. I can’t wait to cook my way through the whole book! Thank you so much, Mary, for always giving us delicious, healthy recipes that are simple and doable! There are so many things I love about this book: every recipe had a picture, the instructions are detailed but uncomplicated, the ingredients are simple and fresh, and her helpful hints and tips are actually helpful! I’ve made two recipes since getting the book a week or so ago and both have been delicious. I can’t wait to cook my way through this book! Worth adding: I do not regularly eat paleo, W30 or GF, but her food is just so good I enjoy eating this way!

Even if you’re not following a Paleo diet you NEED this book!

For the the past 3 years I have abided by a paleo diet off and on. A lot of times I ended up being derailed because I was overwhelmed. Time consuming recipes (busy mom of three here) and feeling like I had to buy a million expensive staples for my pantry have probably been my top two frustrations. Recently, I decided it was time to get back on track and focus my efforts on eating whole foods. About 2-3 months ago, I had seen some influencers on Instagram talking about Quick Prep Paleo. I looked it up and added it to my “save for later”. I’m always buying Paleo cookbooks that I end up not using so I wanted to think about it first. I was searching Pinterest for some dinner recipes and found Mary’s Scalloped Potatoes and Rueben in a Bowl recipes. Once I made those recipes it sealed the deal and I purchased Quick Prep Paleo immediately! I have never used a cookbook SO MUCH! I’ve had cookbooks for years that I barely made any recipes out of. In the last few weeks, I’ve already made 12 recipes from this book and every single one I had been amazing and we have several favorites that are already on repeat for the weekly meal plan! Mary is honestly a genius! She’s found a way to put healthy, affordable, flavor packed meals on the table with minimal work! You NEED this book!

Go-To Cookbook for easy & delicious Paleo/Whole 30 cooking! Get it!

I was looking for some simple yummy dinners to help me stay on track with mostly paleo/Whole 30 clean eating. I had tried & loved a couple of recipes on the Mary’s Whole Life blog and decided to go for it with the cookbook. So incredibly happy with that decision! Since getting the cookbook I have used it for 75% of my meal planning and we’ve loved every recipe we’ve tried so far and will make them all again! My absolute favorite so far is the smothered pork chops but it’s hard to pick which one we like best. I check out quickly if recipes get too complicated and all of these for sure fit the “quick prep” description but create amazing meals that taste like they were much more involved. So far we have devoured the cashew chicken & green bean stir fry, spinach artichoke chicken casserole, creamy bolognese, “cheesy” mashed potatoes, ranch crusted pork tenderloin & sausage potato broccoli sheet pan dinner. There is not one yet that we haven’t loved. I have so many more flagged for my meal planning in the weeks to come. Can’t wait to eat my way through this whole cookbook. Previously I burned out very quickly with clean eating meal planning or got bored with the same few recipes, but with this cookbook it’s been so easy to stay on track with such a variety of delicious & easy meals. Highly recommend!

Fast, tasty, healthy meals - get this cookbook!

I have been a huge fan of Mary's blog for over a year now - all of her recipes are flavorful, made with healthy ingredients already in my pantry/fridge, and so easy to make. I tend to fall into a rut with boring weeknight meals - not anymore! Mary's blog (and now cookbook) makes every Whole30 round easy and delicious. I am thrilled to see that the cookbook offers stovetop and crockpot alternatives so that I can easily adapt recipes. The photography is gorgeous (unfortunately I want these recipes in my belly too fast to be able to plate so beautifully!). I already bought 5 books and plan to get more for holiday gifts. Do yourself a favor and pick up this lovely cookbook!

Simple & delicious must have recipes

This is the first time I have ever written a product review. I also rarely buy cookbooks simply because there is so much access to delicious recipes for free online. But when I started using Mary’s Whole Life weekly meal plans and couldn’t access the cookbook recipes, I broke down and purchased it. Absolutely money well spent. My teenage kids and husband don’t always appreciate my “healthy cooking” but every.single.meal that I have prepared from this cookbook has been loved and requested again. The recipes are super simple, use basic ingredients, and are rich in flavor. I’ll purchase any future cookbooks that she produces!

So approachable!

In one week I made the pizza pasta casserole, chicken bacon ranch casserole, and creamy piccata salmon. ALL of them were amazing and my 3 and 4 year old enjoyed them too! Can’t wait to try more. Also really appreciate they are easy, come together quickly, and can be done with kids running through the kitchen. This is a perfect cookbook for moms and a paleo one that is approachable even for week night cooking. Can’t say enough good things about this cookbook!

I've sent copies to friends and family - it's THAT good

I stopped buying cookbooks a while ago because I only ever used 2-5 recipes from each book and it seemed like a waste. Well, this book is my new bible. I've started meal planning and I only ever look in here. The variety is great, the food is SO GOOD, and the pictures are beautiful. I do find that it takes me longer to cook the dishes than the titles imply, but I'm also a horrible multi-tasker. I've made the chicken artichoke casserole, chicken bacon ranch casserole, meatloaf, salmon piccata, sun-dried tomato spinach shrimp, deconstructed burger bowl, beef barbacoa, and more. Each time, my husband was in disbelief at how good everything was and he was especially impressed that it's gluten/dairy-free. I thought a restrictive diet would be difficult, but this book has completely changed my view on eating clean. I can't wait to try every recipe in here. Thank you, Mary!!

I’m in love with this cookbook, but that’s not a shock. Anyone that follows Mary’s Instagram & blog knew this would be amazing! The pork chops, sheet pan dinners, and cheeseburger casserole (Big Mac in a bowl as my husband calls it) are staples to our meal planning. Every recipe of Mary’s that I have tried has been a new best recipe ever! Not only do they taste utterly amazing and practically gourmet, they are so EASY to cook as well! How could you go wrong?! I am not a “cookbook person” because many times they feel overwhelming but this cookbook is hands down the simplest and easiest to follow. She Saved My Foodie-Food Allergy Life

Mary and her recipes have saved my life! Around the time Mary was diagnosed with Celiacs, I was diagnosed with a rare disease that made me allergic to a LOT of natural foods, as a result I have to be gluten free, dairy free, soy free...the list goes on. As a former foodie I was DEVASTATED. I was depressed and feeling alone in my diagnosis. Cue Mary’s blog, recipes, and BOOK to help give me absolutely yummy variety back into my diet. I bought Mary’s book late last night, arrived this morning (Thank You Amazon) and first recipe done tonight! This book is so amazing. Recipes are easy to follow. I did the chicken parmesan recipe tonight and it was a big hit. The family has no idea how healthy it actually is!! I took the book to the store to buy some of the items needed for a few recipe. Best Paleo Cookbook!

I got 3 new paleo cookbooks, and this one is by far my favorite! Constantly referencing & sharing recipes in this book! So simple & tasty! Even if you're not paleo- give it a try! You can always use regular rice instead of cauliflower rice, regular flour instead of almond, etc! BUT even with the paleo substitutions, super tasty & filling 👏🏼

All of Mary’s recipes are gold!

I swear I haven’t made anything that I didn’t love out of Mary’s recipes. She’s literally my favorite blogger, cook, gluten free advocate. Some recipes that I’ve made recently are, harvest sheet pan, tikka masala, shrimp piccata, & sweet potato casarole. Loved all of them!

My Favorite Cookbook

I found Mary on Instagram about a year ago. I was fairly new in my paleo eating lifestyle. To say I was thrilled when she announced she would be putting out a cookbook would be an understatement. Every single one of her recipes has been five stars. She uses easy to find ingredients, recipes are easy to follow and quick to make. The taste is sensational. I think 6 of 7 meals a week are from Mary. Even my fussy, non-paleo mother loves Mary's recipes. Do yourself a favor and buy this book and buy another to gift a friend!

The greatest cookbook for those that hate cooking

This cookbook is amazing. For someone who hates to cook and couldn’t come up with a meal from a fully packed fridge, this is a lifesaver! The recipes are EASY 👏🏻 QUICK 👏🏻 And DELICIOUS 👏🏻 I follow Mary on Instagram and am annoyed at myself for not buying this book sooner. It’s taken the hours of meal planning out of my life and I’m so grateful. There’s a picture for each recipe and some come with tips for alternatives if you want. Everything I was looking for!

Favorite cookbook!

Oh my gosh. I LOVE this cookbook. I was able to prep and throw the food into a slow cooker within 15 minutes in between my meetings and it turned out so good. I’ve made 4 recipes so far (which is saying a lot because I’m notorious for buying cookbooks then never actually using them) and each one have been so delicious. I can’t wait to try more!

Explanations are easy to follow, use ingredients that are readily available at any supermarket and taste great! Here was my first experiment and it was awesome. Best Cookbook Ever

I absolutely love this cookbook! I have a four year old and a two year old. I need recipes that are quick, simple, and healthy. This cookbook fits the bill. The recipes can easily be adapted to be Whole30 compliant when I am doing a round. I love that each recipe includes a beautiful photo and a side cooking note for modifications. I pretty much make a recipe from this book every day now. I highly recommend!!!

A Kitchen Must Have!!!

I have been following Mary for a while and I am so happy for her and her success!!!!! Her recipes are AMAZING, easy, and a crowd pleaser. I would HIGHLY suggest getting this job. I’ve enjoyed every recipe. The deconstructed burger bowl literally tastes like a Big Mac. I also had some questions about a recipe because I definitely messed it up and Mary responded immediately on Instagram! She devotes her life and time to our eating pleasures and this book is absolutely worth it!

I've made 3 (#4 is in the crockpot) and we've enjoyed them so much! What do I love most? 1. There are pictures with 99.9% of the recipes - who wants to make a recipe without a picture?! 2. I have 99.9% of the ingredients in my home. There aren't anything foreign - I've been paleo for a few years, but I think even for someone starting out nothing is too outrageous! 3. The time it takes to prep is MINIMAL. She is clearly a MOM! I can prep during nap, or do it fast enough to be able to track my 1 year old down. 4. The recipes taste delicious! My husband gets so excited to try the next recipe from the book because they've all been great. 5. It's been a great way to mix up my normal routine and try new recipes. I truly never write reviews - I wrote one to get a giftcard, but I am getting NOTHING for this - and I never buy cookbooks, but after trying her recipes from her blog I had to give it a go. This is as honest of a review you will see! Get it. I hope you enjoy it as much as we have so far!

This cookbook is SUCH a gem! I’m a busy mom of soon-to-be 3 boys. The faster I can get dinner prepped and cooking the better. Love that all these recipes only require 5-15 minutes of hands on time! Great allergy friendly and clean diet friendly recipes. Especially love all the low carb/keto friendly ones. All recipes my kids will love too!

Faboulous, quick, family-pleasing recipes!

We're a "paleo-ish" family with three young kids. Even though we don't eat strictly paleo, having go-to, clean and easy meals that the whole family will eat and don't take me long to prepare is KEY to actually getting food on the table. Mary really hits the nail on the head with her recipes for our family. I haven't bought a lot of cookbooks in recent years, but this is a must have on my shelf especially for when I just can't think through cooking yet another dinner for my hungry family. With a mix of stovetop, oven, and instant pot/slow cooker recipes, there's something for any dinner prep scenario in this book. And she doesn't use any wild ingredients, just stuff that anyone vaguely following a grain-free or paleo diet will already have in their fridge and pantry.

Let me just preface this by saying I NEVER have spent money on a cookbook. They have all been too complicated and just didn’t fit into my familys food preferences. I’ve been making and enjoying Mary’s blog recipes since I found out about my celiac, so I knew I had to buy this book. I’ve had the book for a week and have already made 6 of the recipes... made the cottage pie bowls recipe tonight! I am blown away by how delicious, yet easy, these recipes are! I have most of the ingredients on hand and the hands on/hands off time makes cooking fit into our busy schedules. My family and I can’t get enough of these meals. I highly recommend this cookbook- even if it’s the only one you buy!

I first found Mary on Instagram while doing a round of whole30. While I’m not paleo, or gluten free, I still keep her recipes on CONSTANT rotation... they are just THAT good. They don’t feel like a sacrifice or a punishment like some health conscious recipes can be. The cookbook is beautiful and full of so many healthy delicious recipes. I can’t wait to cook my way through the whole book! Thank you so much, Mary, for always giving us delicious, healthy recipes that are simple and doable! There are so many things I love about this book: every recipe had a picture, the instructions are detailed but uncomplicated, the ingredients are simple and fresh, and her helpful hints and tips are actually helpful! I’ve made two recipes since getting the book a week or so ago and both have been delicious. I can’t wait to cook my way through this book! Worth adding: I do not regularly eat paleo, W30 or GF, but her food is just so good I enjoy eating this way!

For the the past 3 years I have abided by a paleo diet off and on. A lot of times I ended up being derailed because I was overwhelmed. Time consuming recipes (busy mom of three here) and feeling like I had to buy a million expensive staples for my pantry have probably been my top two frustrations. Recently, I decided it was time to get back on track and focus my efforts on eating whole foods. About 2-3 months ago, I had seen some influencers on Instagram talking about Quick Prep Paleo. In the last few weeks, I’ve already made 12 recipes from this book and every single one I had been amazing and we have several favorites that are already on repeat for the weekly meal plan! Go-To Cookbook for easy & delicious Paleo/Whole 30 cooking! Get it!

I was looking for some simple yummy dinners to help me stay on track with mostly paleo/Whole 30 clean eating. I had tried & loved a couple of recipes on the Mary’s Whole Life blog and decided to go for it with the cookbook. So incredibly happy with that decision! Since getting the cookbook I have used it for 75% of my meal planning and we’ve loved every recipe we’ve tried so far and will make them all again! My absolute favorite so far is the smothered pork chops but it’s hard to pick which one we like best. I check out quickly if recipes get too complicated and all of these for sure fit the “quick prep” description but create amazing meals that taste like they were much more involved. So far we have devoured the cashew chicken & green bean stir fry, spinach artichoke chicken casserole, creamy bolognese, “cheesy” mashed potatoes, ranch crusted pork tenderloin & sausage potato broccoli sheet pan dinner. There is not one yet that we haven’t loved. I have so many more flagged for my meal planning in the weeks to come. Can’t wait to eat my way through this whole cookbook. Previously I burned out very quickly with clean eating meal planning or got bored with the same few recipes, but with this cookbook it’s been so easy to stay on track with such a variety of delicious & easy meals. Highly recommend!

Easy and DELICIOUS

This cookbook is so fantastic! I’m a huge fan of all recipes I’ve tried from Mary’s blog so I preordered this immediately. The cookbook is gorgeous-all the pictures are so enticing and the recipes are easy to follow and have common ingredients. I occasionally modify since we aren’t GF/DF and the recipes hold up. Occasionally we just cannot get the ingredients in our small town. (Such as DF cream cheese) My personal favorite so far is the orange chicken and the cottage pie bowls. So hearty and comforting. Making meatloaf this week!

Favorite new cook book

I purchased several cook books recently including The Defined Dish and this book is my favorite. The meals are easy to make and crowd pleasers. My boyfriend is a picky eater and he loves these recipes. I also follow Mary on social media and check out her website for new recipes.

Fantastic Recipes! You don't have to be paleo!

I love this cookbook! I am an experienced cook and have many a cookbook. But this is my current fav. We have no food restrictions and do not follow paleo, however I do my best to cook "healthy". These recipes are loved by everyone in the family! Also, currently, I participate in a Metabolism Makeover program (www.thenutritionaddiction.com) which focuses on PHFF eating (Protein, Healthy Fat and Fiber) and these recipes are really easy to PHFF!!! I ordered this book after seeing some delicious posts on Instagram. I was looking for an all in one cookbook with instapot and skillet/one pan meals. The recipes are is easy to follow and live up to the title 'Quick Prep'. There is great variety and healthy options with accessible ingredients. The photography is outstanding and the variety of recipes is stellar. I'm very happy with the purchase and can't wait to try more recipes this year!

I love this cookbook! All of the recipes so far are super simple and kid approved! I like that I don’t have to spend tons of time prepping for dinner. Some of my favorites are the sheet pan meals, the meatloaf and the cottage pie. I look forward to making more dinners for the family from this book.

Quick Prep Paleo a dream for busy families!

I’ve been a fan of Mary’s blog for a little over a year or so now. I have a bunch of diet restrictions because of my autoimmune disease but still need to cook delicious meals for my family. Her recipes do NOT disappoint. Tonight we tried her Cottage Pie bowls and they were amazing. I recommend this book to ANYONE trying to eat healthier, cleaner & wants delicious EASY food.

I don’t know how Mary does it. Her recipes are easy to create, quick for us working mamas, delicious, and most important healthy! Do yourself a favor and just hit buy now. This cookbook is amazing. I have already made 4 or 5 of the recipes and they are not only husband but also kid approved. The recipes are easy to follow and are not time consuming and the best part is there are no crazy ingredients. I am looking forward to cooking my way through the rest of this cookbook.

Great Cookbook- Must Buy!

Really nice cookbook with pictures for EVERY recipe. Healthy ingredients, but things you already have in your pantry, which is a must for me. Check out Mary’s blog too where she has tons of free and delicious recipes. Highly suggest for someone who eats clean or is trying a round of Whole30.

My go-to cookbook during the week!

I have been following Mary for some time and was super excited about her cookbook coming out. She did not disappoint! What I love: No crazy ingredients, truly quick prep, a variety of prep/cooking methods with advice for modifications. Everything I have made is very tasty and everyone in my house enjoyed eating these dishes. I have been making about 2 recipes a week. My favorites so far: Cottage Pie bowls, Pineapple Pork Fried "rice", Deconstructed Burger Bowl, Cashew Chicken & Green bean stir fry, and Jalapeno Tuna "Noodle" Casserole to name a few.

I don’t have enough words to express how amazing this book is! I’m not vegan, vegetarian, whole 30 or paleo; I’m just trying to live a healthier lifestyle and these recipes make it SO easy! All recipes do not take long, can easily double & save for left overs. Highly recommend!

A savior for busy families who want to eat healthy

I have followed Mary's Whole Life on instagram for a year or so and love the free recipes included on her blog and was so excited for her book, I preordered it and checked the status on Amazon every few weeks in anticipation. Now that I have had a chance to use it for the past few months, I can say it absolutely lived up to my expectations. I use it almost exclusively to plan out our weekly menu. For the the past 3 years I have abided by a paleo diet off and on. A lot of times I ended up being derailed because I was overwhelmed. Time consuming recipes (busy mom of three here) and feeling like I had to buy a million expensive staples for my pantry have probably been my top two frustrations. Recently, I decided it was time to get back on track and focus my efforts on eating whole foods. About 2-3 months ago, I had seen some influencers on Instagram talking about Quick Prep Paleo. I looked it up and added it to my “save for later”. I’m always buying Paleo cookbooks that I end up not using so I wanted to think about it first. I was searching Pinterest for some dinner recipes and found Mary’s Scalloped Potatoes and Rueben in a Bowl recipes. Once I made those recipes it sealed the deal and I purchased Quick Prep Paleo immediately! I have never used a cookbook SO MUCH! I’ve had cookbooks for years that I barely made any recipes out of. In the last few weeks, I’ve already made 12 recipes from this book and every single one I had been amazing and we have several favorites that are already on repeat for the weekly meal plan! Mary is honestly a genius! She’s found a way to put healthy, affordable, flavor packed meals on the table with minimal work! You NEED this book!

Go-To Cookbook for easy & delicious Paleo/Whole 30 cooking! Get it!

I was looking for some simple yummy dinners to help me stay on track with mostly paleo/Whole 30 clean eating. I had tried & loved a couple of recipes on the Mary’s Whole Life blog and decided to go for it with the cookbook. So incredibly happy with that decision! Since getting the cookbook I have used it for 75% of my meal planning and we’ve loved every recipe we’ve tried so far and will make them all again! My absolute favorite so far is the smothered pork chops but it’s hard to pick which one we like best. I check out quickly if recipes get too complicated and all of these for sure fit the “quick prep” description but create amazing meals that taste like they were much more involved. So far we have devoured the cashew chicken & green bean stir fry, spinach artichoke chicken casserole, creamy bolognese, “cheesy” mashed potatoes, ranch crusted pork tenderloin & sausage potato broccoli sheet pan dinner. There is not one yet that we haven’t loved. I have so many more flagged for my meal planning in the weeks to come. Can’t wait to eat my way through this whole cookbook. Previously I burned out very quickly with clean eating meal planning or got bored with the same few recipes, but with this cookbook it’s been so easy to stay on track with such a variety of delicious & easy meals. Highly recommend!

Most used cookbook!

This cookbook is by far the most used cookbook in our house. We have made fourteen recipes so far and have absolutely LOVED all of them. I have found most recipes can be prepped ahead of time, which is great when you have a busy toddler. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for fast, easy and flavorful meals!

The best part is that the ingredients are easy to find and the instructions are very straightforward (so easy to follow). The one pictured is the Spinach Artichoke Chicken Casserole. Best cookbook I've ever owned!!

This book is the best cook book I've ever owned! I love that every recipe has a picture. There are all pretty easy to cook, but they have all been DELICIOUS!!! We've ate prob 30 recipes from this book and not a single one has been bland or not tasted good. Plus my husband is now approving of eating healthier!

I’ve been following Mary on Instagram now for a little over a year so when she had her cookbook released it was a no brainer. The past two weeks we’ve used this book exclusively and I haven’t found a recipe I don’t like. My husband agrees and leftovers hardly last more than a day. The other big win, the TIME. Most recipes take at maximum 15 minutes to put together. So it’s not intimidating and everything is delicious. Definitely recommend!

Excellent clean eating recipes for busy families!

This cookbook is amazing. Anyone looking for cleaner recipes- every single one is delicious, easy and fast! I’ve done 5 whole30s and these recipes are easy to adapt to be compliant. This is an everyday staple in our house. Bravo to Mary- her Instagram site is how I got hooked on her recipes, so when her book came out, I had to purchase! The breakfast recipes are my favorite “make ahead” for the week- easy to heat up when on the go.

Quick, delicious, and healthy recipes!

I am really enjoying this cookbook. Its a life saver! I am able to get healthy, quick and tasty meals on the table for my family. I try to avoid dairy for the most part and these recipes have helped me to enjoy a delicious meal without it. 5 to 15mins of hands on prep for the meals too which is great! I am a mom of a 4 month old and 3 year old so having quick meals on the table is a must! Two thumbs up! 👍👍

You guys....this cookbook is amazing. I followed Mary on Instagram and my husband and I have loved every recipe we've tried of hers, so I knew I HAD to get her cookbook. I've made 3 (#4 is in the crockpot) and we've enjoyed them so much! What do I love most? 1. There are pictures with 99.9% of the recipes - who wants to make a recipe without a picture?! 2. I have 99.9% of the ingredients in my home. There aren't anything foreign - I've been paleo for a few years, but I think even for someone starting out nothing is too outrageous! 3. The time it takes to prep is MINIMAL. She is clearly a MOM! I can prep during nap, or do it fast enough to be able to track my 1 year old down. 4. The recipes taste delicious! My husband gets so excited to try the next recipe from the book because they've all been great. 5. It's been a great way to mix up my normal routine and try new recipes. I truly never write reviews - I wrote one to get a giftcard, but I am getting NOTHING for this - and I never buy cookbooks, but after trying her recipes from her blog I had to give it a go. This is as honest of a review you will see! Get it. I hope you enjoy it as much as we have so far!

Amazing Clean Recipes!

This cookbook is SUCH a gem! I’m a busy mom of soon-to-be 3 boys. The faster I can get dinner prepped and cooking the better. Love that all these recipes only require 5-15 minutes of hands on time! Great allergy friendly and clean diet friendly recipes. Especially love all the low carb/keto friendly ones. All recipes my kids will love too!

Faboulous, quick, family-pleasing recipes!

We're a "paleo-ish" family with three young kids. Even though we don't eat strictly paleo, having go-to, clean and easy meals that the whole family will eat and don't take me long to prepare is KEY to actually getting food on the table. Mary really hits the nail on the head with her recipes for our family. I haven't bought a lot of cookbooks in recent years, but this is a must have on my shelf especially for when I just can't think through cooking yet another dinner for my hungry family. With a mix of stovetop, oven, and instant pot/slow cooker recipes, there's something for any dinner prep scenario in this book. And she doesn't use any wild ingredients, just stuff that anyone vaguely following a grain-free or paleo diet will already have in their fridge and pantry.

DELICIOUS and simple!!

Let me just preface this by saying I NEVER have spent money on a cookbook. They have all been too complicated and just didn’t fit into my familys food preferences. I’ve been making and enjoying Mary’s blog recipes since I found out about my celiac, so I knew I had to buy this book. I’ve had the book for a week and have already made 6 of the recipes... made the cottage pie bowls recipe tonight! I am blown away by how delicious, yet easy, these recipes are! I have most of the ingredients on hand and the hands on/hands off time makes cooking fit into our busy schedules. My family and I can’t get enough of these meals. I highly recommend this cookbook- even if it’s the only one you buy!

They don’t feel like a sacrifice or a punishment like some health conscious recipes can be. The cookbook is beautiful and full of so many healthy delicious recipes. Love this cookbook!

Love this book! I've done a few rounds of Whole 30 and needed some new recipes. Everything I've made so far is delicious and easy! I can't wait to make more! I also follow Mary on IG and she's always asking what people want to see more of and is genuinely wanting to help us all find what works for each of us.

Great for New Mom!

As a new mom with an 8 week old, I wasn’t sure how much time I would have for cooking even though it was something I wanted to maintain to feel like myself. This cookbook has made that so much more tangible and feasible, I make at least two recipes a week and can prep throughout the day during short naps or quickly in the evening when my partner is off from work. I love cooking for my family and this cookbook has allowed me to continue that passion!

I am pretty obsessed with ALL of Marys recipes from her blog, and when the book came out I had to check it out- I even sent a friend one sight unessn because I knew it would be worth it. All the recipes are simple and easy to make and do NOT disappoint. Such great healthy robust flavors that I haven't found with other "alternate" types of recipes with substitutions such as this. Worth the purchase !!

Brilliant! Fast, delicious, Celiac friendly recipes!

I started following Mary on IG after my son was diagnosed with Celiac Disease and she absolutely saved my sanity! She breaks down step by step and delivers the most delicious recipes on a daily basis! A common phrase around the dinner table is "Is this a Mary meal?" because everyone knows how delicious her recipes are! Mary absolutely crushed this cookbook!

Easy & Delicious Recipes for Food Allergies

Having gluten and dairy allergies, Paleo recipes are easier for me to modify, even though I am not truly Paleo...enter Mary’s “Quick Prep Paleo!” She provides easy substitutions within recipes for egg and nut ingredients as well plus puts the steps in order in such a way that they are easy to follow. So far, so delish!

I cannot say enough good things about this book. I consider myself a pretty good cook but not the healthiest. This is all my husband and I eat out of for dinner. Everything is so good and so flavorful. Im recommend everyone I can, paleo or not.

Love this cookbook! I’ve had it since it’s release day and it is already well loved. The recipes are easy and delicious! Quick prep is accurate, not much time at all to throw the recipes together. You won’t regret this purchase!

Love, love, love everything about this cookbook. The recipes are quick and easy and DELICIOUS! My toddler and 10 month old have loved every recipe I have cooked up so far. The pad Thai is probably our all time favorite dish now, nothing makes this momma happier than seeing her toddler finish 2 bowls of spaghetti squash!

Great family-pleasing Paleo Cookbook!

I LOVE this cookbook! It's filled with easy to follow recipes and the pictures are gorgeous! I've made several of the recipes already and my whole family, non-paleo followers included, have loved them. I also love that I can prepare alot of the dishes ahead of time which helps dinnertime not be such a chore!

This book is beautifully written with photos of every recipe. What I love about this cookbook is how these recipes are not only healthy and delicious, but approachable for everyone. This cookbook is SUCH a gem! I’m a busy mom of soon-to-be 3 boys. The faster I can get dinner prepped and cooking the better. Love that all these recipes only require 5-15 minutes of hands on time! Great allergy friendly and clean diet friendly recipes. Especially love all the low carb/keto friendly ones. All recipes my kids will love too!

Faboulous, quick, family-pleasing recipes!

We're a "paleo-ish" family with three young kids. Even though we don't eat strictly paleo, having go-to, clean and easy meals that the whole family will eat and don't take me long to prepare is KEY to actually getting food on the table. Mary really hits the nail on the head with her recipes for our family. I haven't bought a lot of cookbooks in recent years, but this is a must have on my shelf especially for when I just can't think through cooking yet another dinner for my hungry family. With a mix of stovetop, oven, and instant pot/slow cooker recipes, there's something for any dinner prep scenario in this book. I’ve been making and enjoying Mary’s blog recipes since I found out about my celiac, so I knew I had to buy this book. I’ve had the book for a week and have already made 6 of the recipes... made the cottage pie bowls recipe tonight! I am blown away by how delicious, yet easy, these recipes are! They don’t feel like a sacrifice or a punishment like some health conscious recipes can be. The cookbook is beautiful and full of so many healthy delicious recipes. I can’t wait to cook my way through the whole book! Thank you so much, Mary, for always giving us delicious, healthy recipes that are simple and doable! There are so many things I love about this book: every recipe had a picture, the instructions are detailed but uncomplicated, the ingredients are simple and fresh, and her helpful hints and tips are actually helpful! For the the past 3 years I have abided by a paleo diet off and on. A lot of times I ended up being derailed because I was overwhelmed. Time consuming recipes (busy mom of three here) and feeling like I had to buy a million expensive staples for my pantry have probably been my top two frustrations. Recently, I decided it was time to get back on track and focus my efforts on eating whole foods. About 2-3 months ago, I had seen some influencers on Instagram talking about Quick Prep Paleo. Once I made those recipes it sealed the deal and I purchased Quick Prep Paleo immediately! I have never used a cookbook SO MUCH! I’ve had cookbooks for years that I barely made any recipes out of. In the last few weeks, I’ve already made 12 recipes from this book and every single one I had been amazing and we have several favorites that are already on repeat for the weekly meal plan! Mary is honestly a genius! She’s found a way to put healthy, affordable, flavor packed meals on the table with minimal work! You NEED this book!

Go-To Cookbook for easy & delicious Paleo/Whole 30 cooking! Get it!

I was looking for some simple yummy dinners to help me stay on track with mostly paleo/Whole 30 clean eating. I had tried & loved a couple of recipes on the Mary’s Whole Life blog and decided to go for it with the cookbook. So incredibly happy with that decision! Since getting the cookbook I have used it for 75% of my meal planning and we’ve loved every recipe we’ve tried so far and will make them all again! My absolute favorite so far is the smothered pork chops but it’s hard to pick which one we like best. I check out quickly if recipes get too complicated and all of these for sure fit the “quick prep” description but create amazing meals that taste like they were much more involved. So far we have devoured the cashew chicken & green bean stir fry, spinach artichoke chicken casserole, creamy bolognese, “cheesy” mashed potatoes, ranch crusted pork tenderloin & sausage potato broccoli sheet pan dinner. There is not one yet that we haven’t loved. I have so many more flagged for my meal planning in the weeks to come. Can’t wait to eat my way through this whole cookbook. Previously I burned out very quickly with clean eating meal planning or got bored with the same few recipes, but with this cookbook it’s been so easy to stay on track with such a variety of delicious & easy meals. Highly recommend!

Truly Quick Prep, And VERY Delicious!

This cookbook is absolutely great! The Mississippi Pot Roast is honestly the best pot roast I’ve ever made/eaten. So tasty! I’ve tried three recipes in total so far and have really enjoyed them all. They are truly minimal prep, which is ideal after a long day at work. The photography is gorgeous, and everything I’ve made has been very easy to follow so far.

I love this cookbook!! I’ve been following Mary via her blog and Instagram for a while now and generally make 2-3 of her recipes per week. After Mary, I can’t go back to spending hours to prep a meal that is going to be half as good as one of hers! The recipes are easy to follow, healthy, & delicious. Best new Paleo cookbook!!

This is such a go-to cookbook!! Everyday ingredients and easy to read and follow. I’m making the Chicken Bacon Ranch casserole tonight with homemade dairy free ranch. Can’t wait!!! I love this cookbook! Everything I’ve made is so delicious and it pleases the whole family!!!

Pass and save your money

I follow the blog and have made many of her the recipes. Save your money, her best stuff is online free. These were not great and way to much Cashew use.

Mary’s recipes make me feel at home. I have made 4 things so far, Mississippi pot roast, “cheesy” mashed potatoes, slow cooker pork chops, and chicken bacon ranch casserole. Her food is wonderful and I have young children who eat everything from there. In addition, we have food allergies and this book makes things manageable :)

My Favorite Cook Book

My New Favorite Cookbook

I pre-ordered this book, and it arrived yesterday. I have already made the Buffalo Chicken Breakfast Casserole and the Sweet Potato-Apple Breakfast Custard (I substituted pumpkin). Yum! I follow Mary’s Whole Life. Her recipes are simple, healthy and delicious. I will be ordering more books for Christmas gifts.

We just received our book and so far we have made 3 recipes. We are literally going to go page by page because the flavors are so delicious. Mary does a wonderful job of preparing healthy, easy and delicious meals. I highly recommend this book!

Must have cookbook

I NEVER write reviews but felt it was necessary to get the word out that this cookbook is a must have item in your kitchen. We have already made countless recipes and they are all quick, simple, and most importantly so delicious! My husband and 3 young children devour everything and they’re all very picky!

We had recently learned my husband had a severe gluten sensitivity and I felt lost on how to cook for his wellness AND feed our two young daughters all while working a full time job. ENTER MARY! Her recipes are not only delicious but KID APPROVED and super simple. It will not disappoint!

I have a TON of cookbooks, and this is one of the best!

Such a great cookbook for the health-conscious and time-crunched cook. So many good recipes, and such a great variety of things to make. I’ve made something out of this cookbook for the past 5 weeks or so, and haven’t been disappointed yet! This will definitely be one of my go-to cookbooks from now on.

My go-to cookbook! Every recipe is easy and SO delicious. My husband is a picky eater and my daughter has multiple food allergies and every recipe works for us OR can be easily adapted for special dietary needs (Mary includes many cooks tips to help with this). Cannot say enough good things!!

You guys....this cookbook is amazing. I followed Mary on Instagram and my husband and I have loved every recipe we've tried of hers, so I knew I HAD to get her cookbook. I've made 3 (#4 is in the crockpot) and we've enjoyed them so much! What do I love most? 1. There are pictures with 99.9% of the recipes - who wants to make a recipe without a picture?! 2. I have 99.9% of the ingredients in my home. There aren't anything foreign - I've been paleo for a few years, but I think even for someone starting out nothing is too outrageous! 3. The time it takes to prep is MINIMAL. She is clearly a MOM! I can prep during nap, or do it fast enough to be able to track my 1 year old down. 4. The recipes taste delicious! My husband gets so excited to try the next recipe from the book because they've all been great. 5. It's been a great way to mix up my normal routine and try new recipes. Great allergy friendly and clean diet friendly recipes. Especially love all the low carb/keto friendly ones. All recipes my kids will love too!

We're a "paleo-ish" family with three young kids. Even though we don't eat strictly paleo, having go-to, clean and easy meals that the whole family will eat and don't take me long to prepare is KEY to actually getting food on the table. Mary really hits the nail on the head with her recipes for our family. I haven't bought a lot of cookbooks in recent years, but this is a must have on my shelf especially for when I just can't think through cooking yet another dinner for my hungry family. With a mix of stovetop, oven, and instant pot/slow cooker recipes, there's something for any dinner prep scenario in this book. And she doesn't use any wild ingredients, just stuff that anyone vaguely following a grain-free or paleo diet will already have in their fridge and pantry.

They don’t feel like a sacrifice or a punishment like some health conscious recipes can be. The cookbook is beautiful and full of so many healthy delicious recipes. For the the past 3 years I have abided by a paleo diet off and on. A lot of times I ended up being derailed because I was overwhelmed. Time consuming recipes (busy mom of three here) and feeling like I had to buy a million expensive staples for my pantry have probably been my top two frustrations. Recently, I decided it was time to get back on track and focus my efforts on eating whole foods. About 2-3 months ago, I had seen some influencers on Instagram talking about Quick Prep Paleo. I looked it up and added it to my “save for later”. I’m always buying Paleo cookbooks that I end up not using so I wanted to think about it first. Once I made those recipes it sealed the deal and I purchased Quick Prep Paleo immediately! I have never used a cookbook SO MUCH! I’ve had cookbooks for years that I barely made any recipes out of. In the last few weeks, I’ve already made 12 recipes from this book and every single one I had been amazing and we have several favorites that are already on repeat for the weekly meal plan! Go-To Cookbook for easy & delicious Paleo/Whole 30 cooking! Get it!

I was looking for some simple yummy dinners to help me stay on track with mostly paleo/Whole 30 clean eating. I had tried & loved a couple of recipes on the Mary’s Whole Life blog and decided to go for it with the cookbook. So incredibly happy with that decision! Since getting the cookbook I have used it for 75% of my meal planning and we’ve loved every recipe we’ve tried so far and will make them all again! My absolute favorite so far is the smothered pork chops but it’s hard to pick which one we like best. I check out quickly if recipes get too complicated and all of these for sure fit the “quick prep” description but create amazing meals that taste like they were much more involved. So far we have devoured the cashew chicken & green bean stir fry, spinach artichoke chicken casserole, creamy bolognese, “cheesy” mashed potatoes, ranch crusted pork tenderloin & sausage potato broccoli sheet pan dinner. There is not one yet that we haven’t loved. I have so many more flagged for my meal planning in the weeks to come. Can’t wait to eat my way through this whole cookbook. Previously I burned out very quickly with clean eating meal planning or got bored with the same few recipes, but with this cookbook it’s been so easy to stay on track with such a variety of delicious & easy meals. Highly recommend!

I've made 3 (#4 is in the crockpot) and we've enjoyed them so much! What do I love most? 1. There are pictures with 99.9% of the recipes - who wants to make a recipe without a picture?! 2. I have 99.9% of the ingredients in my home. There aren't anything foreign - I've been paleo for a few years, but I think even for someone starting out nothing is too outrageous! 3. The time it takes to prep is MINIMAL. She is clearly a MOM! I can prep during nap, or do it fast enough to be able to track my 1 year old down. 4. The recipes taste delicious! My husband gets so excited to try the next recipe from the book because they've all been great. 5. It's been a great way to mix up my normal routine and try new recipes. I was looking for some simple yummy dinners to help me stay on track with mostly paleo/Whole 30 clean eating. I had tried & loved a couple of recipes on the Mary’s Whole Life blog and decided to go for it with the cookbook. So incredibly happy with that decision! Since getting the cookbook I have used it for 75% of my meal planning and we’ve loved every recipe we’ve tried so far and will make them all again! My absolute favorite so far is the smothered pork chops but it’s hard to pick which one we like best. I check out quickly if recipes get too complicated and all of these for sure fit the “quick prep” description but create amazing meals that taste like they were much more involved. So far we have devoured the cashew chicken & green bean stir fry, spinach artichoke chicken casserole, creamy bolognese, “cheesy” mashed potatoes, ranch crusted pork tenderloin & sausage potato broccoli sheet pan dinner. There is not one yet that we haven’t loved. I have so many more flagged for my meal planning in the weeks to come. Can’t wait to eat my way through this whole cookbook. Previously I burned out very quickly with clean eating meal planning or got bored with the same few recipes, but with this cookbook it’s been so easy to stay on track with such a variety of delicious & easy meals. Highly recommend!

You guys....this cookbook is amazing. I followed Mary on Instagram and my husband and I have loved every recipe we've tried of hers, so I knew I HAD to get her cookbook. I've made 3 (#4 is in the crockpot) and we've enjoyed them so much! What do I love most? 1. There are pictures with 99.9% of the recipes - who wants to make a recipe without a picture?! 2. I have 99.9% of the ingredients in my home. There aren't anything foreign - I've been paleo for a few years, but I think even for someone starting out nothing is too outrageous! 3. The time it takes to prep is MINIMAL. She is clearly a MOM! I can prep during nap, or do it fast enough to be able to track my 1 year old down. 4. The recipes taste delicious! My husband gets so excited to try the next recipe from the book because they've all been great. 5. It's been a great way to mix up my normal routine and try new recipes. I truly never write reviews - I wrote one to get a giftcard, but I am getting NOTHING for this - and I never buy cookbooks, but after trying her recipes from her blog I had to give it a go. This is as honest of a review you will see! Get it. I hope you enjoy it as much as we have so far!

Amazing Clean Recipes!

This cookbook is SUCH a gem! I’m a busy mom of soon-to-be 3 boys. The faster I can get dinner prepped and cooking the better. Love that all these recipes only require 5-15 minutes of hands on time! Great allergy friendly and clean diet friendly recipes. Especially love all the low carb/keto friendly ones. All recipes my kids will love too!

Faboulous, quick, family-pleasing recipes!

We're a "paleo-ish" family with three young kids. Even though we don't eat strictly paleo, having go-to, clean and easy meals that the whole family will eat and don't take me long to prepare is KEY to actually getting food on the table. Mary really hits the nail on the head with her recipes for our family. I haven't bought a lot of cookbooks in recent years, but this is a must have on my shelf especially for when I just can't think through cooking yet another dinner for my hungry family. With a mix of stovetop, oven, and instant pot/slow cooker recipes, there's something for any dinner prep scenario in this book. And she doesn't use any wild ingredients, just stuff that anyone vaguely following a grain-free or paleo diet will already have in their fridge and pantry.

DELICIOUS and simple!!

Let me just preface this by saying I NEVER have spent money on a cookbook. They have all been too complicated and just didn’t fit into my familys food preferences. I’ve been making and enjoying Mary’s blog recipes since I found out about my celiac, so I knew I had to buy this book. I’ve had the book for a week and have already made 6 of the recipes... made the cottage pie bowls recipe tonight! I am blown away by how delicious, yet easy, these recipes are! I have most of the ingredients on hand and the hands on/hands off time makes cooking fit into our busy schedules. My family and I can’t get enough of these meals. I highly recommend this cookbook- even if it’s the only one you buy!

Healthy recipes that require minimal prep and cook time and use paleo staples you’re likely to already have in your pantry. My husband and two kids enjoy all of Mary’s recipes. I first found Mary on Instagram while doing a round of whole30. While I’m not paleo, or gluten free, I still keep her recipes on CONSTANT rotation... they are just THAT good. They don’t feel like a sacrifice or a punishment like some health conscious recipes can be. The cookbook is beautiful and full of so many healthy delicious recipes. I can’t wait to cook my way through the whole book! Thank you so much, Mary, for always giving us delicious, healthy recipes that are simple and doable! No crazy ingredients and no hours spent daily in the kitchen. You’re the best and so is your cookbook!

I’ve been following Mary for about a year and a half on instagram and making her recipes regularly, so when she announced her new cookbook, I had to order a copy! There are so many things I love about this book: every recipe had a picture, the instructions are detailed but uncomplicated, the ingredients are simple and fresh, and her helpful hints and tips are actually helpful! I’ve made two recipes since getting the book a week or so ago and both have been delicious. I can’t wait to cook my way through this book! Worth adding: I do not regularly eat paleo, W30 or GF, but her food is just so good I enjoy eating this way!

Even if you’re not following a Paleo diet you NEED this book!

For the the past 3 years I have abided by a paleo diet off and on. A lot of times I ended up being derailed because I was overwhelmed. Time consuming recipes (busy mom of three here) and feeling like I had to buy a million expensive staples for my pantry have probably been my top two frustrations. Recently, I decided it was time to get back on track and focus my efforts on eating whole foods. About 2-3 months ago, I had seen some influencers on Instagram talking about Quick Prep Paleo. I looked it up and added it to my “save for later”. I’m always buying Paleo cookbooks that I end up not using so I wanted to think about it first. Go-To Cookbook for easy & delicious Paleo/Whole 30 cooking! Get it!

I was looking for some simple yummy dinners to help me stay on track with mostly paleo/Whole 30 clean eating. I had tried & loved a couple of recipes on the Mary’s Whole Life blog and decided to go for it with the cookbook. So incredibly happy with that decision! Since getting the cookbook I have used it for 75% of my meal planning and we’ve loved every recipe we’ve tried so far and will make them all again! My absolute favorite so far is the smothered pork chops but it’s hard to pick which one we like best. Accessible, delicious, and GREAT for families, w/ both picky and adventurous eaters

My sister calls Mary's cookbook "magical for picky children" -- so I had to get it for myself! WOW. My very picky eater has enjoyed the several recipes I've made - and myself, my adventurous-eating husband and other child have LOVED the meals! I love that: - Mary makes this simple and accessible, so you don't need 1,000 ingredients for each meal. - Much of her staples are things you already have in your gluten-free kitchen -- and my sister's family who doesn't regularly eat gluten free is still a giant fan. - She offers simple substitutions, to use what you already have or a sub in yoru favorite protein - Finally, I have 4 other paleo cookbooks -- Mary's is now my go-to, because there's nothing extraneous! I can't recommend this cookbook enough!

I love cooking and I love cookbooks. I've probably purchased 100 of them over the past 25 years and had many more given to me as gifts. My husband will attest to the fact that I have a bookcase in the basement full of them. I also recently went through them and took at least half of them to Goodwill. "Quick Prep Paleo" will NEVER make it into a Goodwill box!!! I asked my husband for this cookbook for Christmas. Since receiving it, I have cooked from this cookbook, or from recipes off of Mary's website, at least four of seven days of every week since Christmas. I tried to start cooking more Paleo/Whole 30 six years ago after being diagnosed celiac. I discovered that all of the recipes were time consuming and ingredients were expensive, so I pretty much gave up. Mary's recipes are easy to make and none of them break the budget. My husband loves her recipes, my picky eater daughter loves her recipes, and I love them. I was always nervous about using an Instant Pot before this cookbook as nothing ever seemed to turn out great. I've become an Instant Pot pro using her cookbook and have loved everything I've tried of her Instant Pot recipes (only a fraction of the book is Instant Pot, and there are lots of other types of recipes as well). She actually makes cauliflower rice taste great!! Anyone who can do that is a rockstar in my opinion! Do not hesitate to purchase this cookbook! It will quickly become your favorite. It hasn't left my kitchen counter since it entered my kitchen, and will never make it to the basement bookshelf. After you've purchased her cookbook, start following her Instagram page for more awesome recipes that she seems to constantly come up with (her adorable puppy, Ruby, is an added awesome bonus for following her page). Mary, if you ever read this review, please come out with another cookbook at some point!
