I absolutely love E E Holmes books !! I am addicted to these stories and the world around me not longer exists once I pick these books up. Once again the adventures of Jesse and Hannah - Milo -Finn suck you right in like a roller coaster !! You pick up the book starting to get the feel of where they are and next thing you know --BAM off you go swirling and turning - upside down....up then down....wow what a ride these books take you on. Jesse and Hannah are back at the "castle" since their aunt cannot go to represent their clan. The hatefulness from the other members really get scary once again and Hannah gets put in a very scary situation. But thank goodness Jesse and the group work to unsolved the mystery. Honestly because of these books I have missed meetings--- I have gone over my lunch breaks and at home I have left all cleaning and cooking to my husband. What will I do when I run out of books from E E Holmes? I am already onto the next book.

I absolutely love this author. She takes you to another world that runs parallel with the world you live in and makes you believe it is actually happening. The continued journey of Jess, Hannah, Milo and the sisterhood keep me coming back. I always guess at the outcome before I'm too far in to a book and I did not see the shattering playing out like it did.

I just finished all ten books of the Gateway series. I loved everyone of them. They were typical good over evil and good prevailed. They were heartwarming, even tear-jerkers from time to time. They kept me completely interested. In fact, after I started reading the trilogy, I was hooked and couldn't put them down.

EE Holmes has done it again. Great new story with the old characters from the Gateway Trilogy I loved so much. So glad she's continued the story. I recommend reading the Gateway Trilogy first if you haven't already. Must read.

Do not start the first gateway book unless you know you are caught up on all your chores, because you won't be doing them till you read all 5 books in the series! Maybe 6, if you count Milo's story. These are outstanding!

Wow, I am in awe!! Another Fantastic installment. I have been so excited to read this and was not disappointed. I was so immersed in this book that I just didn't hear C anything around my house. I read it in a day and a half. And I hate it when books and so please tell me the next book is almost done. Anybody that wants a great series please read this series.

I've been an "E.E" fan ever since I got my Kindle HDX (when it first came out). I'm definitely in her fan club and look forward to books..... they're hard to put down. Violence, yes, however it's not gory blood and guts.

I am still reading it and it is so hard to put down!! It makes you feel like you are right there with the characters! I always wait impatiently for E.E. Holmes to come out with another block buster and she never fails!!

Can not wait to see the next adventure for the sisters. I hope this story line never ends! Thanks for a great read.

As with previous stories in this series, the other line is interesting and keeps the reader involved. However, this chapter ended too soon, leaving too many questions unresolved. Frustrating the reader isn't the way to ensure loyalty.

Absolutely loved this book. I totally recommend this author. Start with the Spirit Legacy and read on. You will not be disappointed.

Another great book in the series. A lot of times the first book is best and things go downhill from there, but that hasn't happening with this one.

Another great plot with many turns for the characters I have become so involved with. I couldn't put the book down for very long before I found another minute or sixty to continue the story.

Incredible writing in this series! I love the story of Jess & Hannah - 2 twin sisters overcoming prejudice and ghostly trials with sass and empathy! And for those who may feel my frustration at many ebooks these day - no grammar/spelling issues. This author has quite the grasp of the English language.

The characters are great The plot has enough twists and turns to keep you anticipating. It is well written and I just completed the third book in a row from this series. Enough said

I got sucked right in and couldn't stop reading. Love that!

The continuing tale of twin sisters, Jessica and Hannah Ballard, separated at birth who, after finding each other, learn to use the powers they inherited to complement each other’s gifts. They learn to help stuck spirits cross over, aid their own Durupinen sisterhood and all the while finding out their own individual strengths and weaknesses to handle normal everyday life. These books are humorous too with the way the sisters, their Spirit Guide Milo and their Caomhnoir Finn get into and out of all kinds of predicaments. The only faux pas I found in the book was near the end, Chapter 19 – Naming Eleanora. On Page 245, it says that Finn gave the “Little Book” to Fiona who was going to take the book to Council and then on Page 246 it says Finn taps his finger on the book. Slight oversight on the part of the proofreader I think. The book is a worthy read and I think E.E. Holmes is a brilliant and creative writer.

Another GREAT book in a GREAT series! First I have to say this is not my genre and I'm also not even close to the target demographic of this series (I'm 52 years old and don't like fantasy stuff generally) and yet, I'm absolutely bingeing this series! Also crazy... I've started my 55 year old husband who only reads stuff like Baldacci, Michael Connelly, and likes the Jack Reacher type characters. He's another fan! Holmes paints a picture every bit as thoroughly as Nora Roberts... which is a huge compliment. Super entertaining, never a boring lull in the action. Overall, what a great book and series! Try it... I promise you'll love it!

I am never disappointed when reading EE Holmes books and this one is no different. We have all the characters back together again in this book, Hannah and Jess, Savvy, Mackenzie, Finn, evil Marion...I can go on and on here. The girls are back at Fairhaven and of course things don't always go smoothly or as planned and a sort of mystery evolves when they try to find out how and why a fractured spirit is invading some of the residents at Fairhaven. Of course nothing is what you might think it is and Hannah and Jess again find themselves in the middle of it all and trying to prove themselves yet again. An excellent read, couldn't put it down because I needed to find out where the story was going. I honestly can't wait for the next book. It's like a drug.

With every book I read in this series, I am hopelessly addicted and I don't care! This book is the 5th in the series and even though each of them would be OK as stand alone stories, the passion the reader feels for these characters is best built by reading them in order. Gone are the frightened girls who started with us on this path and now we see the strong young women who are taking control of their future - and we the readers are along for the ride! Another great adventure!

I cannot put these books down! I will just have to keep reading until I am through and then try to wean myself off of these marvelous paranormal stories. Ee Holmes really understands the spirit world. So much of what she writes has been proven in session after session in my practice. Just read this book and whether you understand the Paranormal world or not you will enjoy yourself!

So...this is the 5th book from this author that I have enjoyed very much. Like some people with potato chips...you simply cannot stop at 1...or ...or more. What an interesting mind the author has..she should be better known that than she is. Light reading at it’s finest...for me...onto the third book of this series...my 6th in all!

Each book draws one further into this spirit world and its' doings. I wish Jess would slap the smirk off of Marion's face and curse Catriona and all the rest of these entitled heifers out. They should refuse to do anything until they are formally apologized to and the guilty parties reprimanded. So on to the next story!

The gateway books are fun, loving, and very often scary books. I love Jess, and Hannah, because they seem like wonderful young people to be around. Between Jess's quick temper and thinking, and Hannah's empathic thoughtfulness the twins balance each other out perfectly. This was a very fun book too read and I'm looking forward to reading the next book.

The trouble these two get into. The plot thickens and I'm really not happy with the Fairhaven Durupinen Council, well, some of them. Now I need to continue with the rest of this series to find answers to my questions. Awesome writing, always engaging my mind. Thanks E. E Holmes!

Depths of characters promises more romantic suspense ! Behind the curtains of this mystery fantasy weaves a romantic comedy of sorts. Twists and challenges bring this read into the “wonderful “ categories because of this authors talent to create a good storytelling experience.

This was an amazing read! The story pulled me in and never let up. Did I get frustrated once again with the way Jess and Hannah we're treated by the council? "Yes" I just hope the author pulls more of the council members over to Jess and Hannah's side as the story continues. I highly recommend reading this series.

When one reads a series, it isn't unusual for the books to lose momentum as the series progresses. That is definitely not true in this case. The end of every book leaves me craving more. I can hardly wait to start the next one.

However, I only gave it 4 stars because the editing was distractingly, annoyingly ATROCIOUS!! Actually, the editing has been a problem for the Gateway series thus far. The Editor needs to replaced. The characters can a little tedious at times but overall is an easy read with an interesting plot and lovable characters. A nice escape. Read it in a day with my pup curled on my lap. My idea of a perfect day.

This book gripped me, I had trouble putting it down. Didn't get a lot done around the house, but got through the book in 3 days. What an exciting read! Still a lot a grammatical errors but......

I am 60 yrs. old and have to say this is one of the best fictional series I have read. I am at the edge of my seat waiting to read what happens next. I feel as though I am actually a part of the story as I am reading it. I will mourn the day when I have read all that is written in this series.

Plague of the Shattered is book 2 in The Gateway Trackers series and has Jess and Hannah returning to Fairhaven again. The girls have vowed never to return to Fairhaven unless necessary but necessary keeps popping up. Every five years, the Northern Clans of the Durupinen gather at Fairhaven to address issues within the agency, vote new council members and handle business. This year Jess and Hannah will be representing their clan. Not even there a day and Jess’s Muse gift kicks into gear. Then Durupinen’s start falling one after another and no one appears safe. The story that follows shows how prejudice the Durupinen still are and always have been and how fear rules people. Holmes writing is excellent and she weaves a truly fantastic tale. Not your run of the mill paranormal story which is very refreshing. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Every book in this series gets better as I go along. The characters are so rich and detailed. I can't put them down, I'm on to the next one! I am so sure we are not done with Lucida yet.

Such a gifted storyteller, i 'm a guy pushing 70 and will say I truly enjoy these books. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for great stories. Thank you Ms. Holmes

This author's stories rock. This book is a page Turner and I loved it. Most stories are cookie cutter and familiar. Not E.E. Holmes. Must read next on your list.

The more I read of these books the more intriguing become. following this fantasy series through the lives of Twins, Jess,and Hannah, the more real they become. Great read. Imaginative and impossible to put down

I really enjoy this set of books. I think they are a perfect read for young adults. This is the 2nd book in the Gateway Tracker series, The 5th book in the Jess and Hannah Ballard series. It's a good clean read about twin sisters who help spirits move on, and the people in their world. The good and the bad. Each book brings a new challenge, a new mystery.

What a great story. I am going straight to book 3 Holmes has such a talent with each character. Jess is my favorite and the things that come up in the spirit world are different in each book.

I am thoroughly enjoying this continuing storyline. The fast pace never falters, making it hard not to read in one sitting. Very nice writing!

It took me a bit to get into the first book but after a few chapters I was hooked. Each of the rest carried me further into Ms. Holmes' fantastic world of the Durupinin and the characters became like friends. I am truly looking forward to the next one and hope for many more adventures with these well thought out and developed characters.

Starting to worry this is going to turn into a romance. It is really difficult finding good books that do NOT turn into porn. Starts off pretty and boring with council meetings and the like, but eventually turns into a good story..but still worried about the romance issue.

This is the best series that I’ve read since the Farseer Trilogy. Different type of subject matter, but well written.

I have just finished this series after borrowing them from my daughter. She highly recommended them and I heartily agree. They are way out of my regular reading genres, but never let that stop you from finding a new author to follow. So glad I took her advice and gave these books my time.

Some times her books tend to drag a bit. This was fast paced. I don't like when hAlf of the book is spent describing the scenery.

Previous books in this series had serious editing issues. Happily, that is not the case in this one. I am thoroughly enjoying the stories and the characters.

I have read all the Seekers books and now these. These books are incredible. I am 48 years old and the have pulled me in and won't let go. Once you start this book you can't put it down. I can hardly wait to start the next one.

The characters are refreshing, there are nice twists in the plot, the series has become a good summer read. Recommended.
