When last we left our two lovers, Justin had just had a sort of breakthrough. He still has no memory of Dallas, but the meaning of the dreams his subconscious has been giving him is finally clear: Dallas really is where he is supposed to be. As the days go by, he starts to get a few more memories back, a few of them even with Dallas. But it’s frustratingly slow progress for Justin, and as some memories start to return, there’s some nagging feelings that he’s not giving Dallas what he needs, not to mention the financial burden his accident is putting on Dallas' business. As in the previous book of the series, Pieces of Us, this one quickly becomes a real page-turner. I believe it’s mainly the combination of generally short chapters, along with a narrative style that takes you through the day-to-day lives of the characters. It’s like a very addictive soap opera, without the preposterous over-the-top dramatics. It all entices you to keep reading to find out what happens next, and tell yourself you’ll read “just one more chapter” until half the book, and half the night, is gone. The characters remain consistent with the previous book, and as before the focus is entirely on Justin and Dallas and the small circle of friends around them. Once again, Dallas comes off almost too good to be true, in the way he sticks by Justin and remains mostly unruffled by the ups and downs of his boyfriend’s recovery. However, one of the unusual things about this story is that Justin actually notes, more than once, that Dallas is doing far more than most people would in his same situation. On one level, the story is all about Justin’s recovery from his serious accident. It’s all described in detail and seems quite believable, although I suspect for the most part it represents a best-case scenario for someone with such traumatic injuries. Reading about Justin’s recovery is a big part of what keeps you reading. But this is also a romance. A very unusual one, where the two main characters are already together, but due to a traumatic accident, one of them is a stranger again, and now they’re trying to find their way back to what they had.

The first book in the series was a harder read with lots of pain and tears, but this one brings hope and healing. Not only to Dallas and Justin, but also to the reader. Justin is slowly getting his health back, both physically and mentally and flashes of his old life are giving him glimpses of the life he had with Dallas. I love the relationship between Justin and Dallas and that even when Justin didn't remember anything about Dallas he still felt safe with him. And Dallas just loves Juss so much that the work they have to do and the hard times are worth it because it means Justin is still there. I really hope that we get a third book because I want,more.

Sifting through the fog of your mind, grasping for truths amid the hazy impressions that flit by is frustrating and exhausting. When your brain wants to process everything immediately, but it just doesn't work that fast and you're left wondering what you missed. Like why the handsome and sexy guy you live with takes a long shower every morning until you wake up first and see the obvious evidence he says he'll always be here for you and now you finally feel the need to spend more time in the shower... Baby steps sometimes take too long so will he still rise to the occasion when you're finally ready? Cannot wait for book 3!

This series is everything!!! I don't know how Nicole does it, but together with Justin and Dallas, she was putting me together as well. Somehow after finishing this 2nd book of the Missing Pieces trilogy, I feel lighter, I feel content, I feel better. I almost ugly cried while sweating on my stationary bike when Dallas almost broke, I sighed when Dallas broke and Justin took care of him, I happy cried at the last chapter. This series is everything I need to feel comfort, to feel patience, to feel all encompassing love!

absolutely loved the continuation of Pieces of You. These two men loved each other like no other couple. They had a rough time in first installment and stuck it out for better or worse. What a story.

A wonderful continuation for a couple who captured my heart so completely in book one. Pieces of Me is a moving boom of the next step in Juss and Dallas’s story as they deal and deal with the new reality of their lives together. Beautiful.

I recommend all of NR Walker books. They just get better. They are not overly graffic but emotionally they get you everytime. Really classy writer. You actually feel the love.

A lovely sequel to her previous story “Pieces of You”. This author’s talent is getting the reader to deeply care for her men. They are flawed yet sweet, struggling yet incredibly strong. The characters are always well fleshed and developed. I felt a true connection to their devotion and love for each other. I believe you really should read the prior story as this literally takes place after the first ends. This time the amazing caregiver Dallas is feeling weighed down by Justin’s physical and mental hurdles as he recovers from his auto accident. Little steps forward are celebrated but unfortunately, there are also steps backward. The process of healing was well portrayed along with frustrations and helplessness that usually accompany both the physical pain and memory loss. Justin is trying so hard but Dallas continues to be careful and gentle, allowing the misplaced memories to float back to his lover at a pace he can cope with. His patience is rock solid and he never pressures Justin to give more than he is capable of. The sexual tension was slowly simmering in the background and I found myself hoping that Dallas and Justin could reconnect that way. Another wonderful thing is Ms. Walker’s ability to relate to the everyday person. The battles that both Justin and Dallas faced were so realistic. Not only is Dallas worried about Justin’s health but his business and their upsetting financial situation add to the burden. Most people can relate to these problems as they have faced similar issues. The writing tugs at your heart and I feel in love with these special men all over again Please do not hesitate to enjoy this special series that focuses on loyalty, hope, and most importantly love. Book 2 in this series can't really be read as a standalone, as it takes place immediately after the events of book 1, which started the leads, Justin and Dallas, on their journey to rebuilding their shattered lives. It is not a whole tale, unlike the feel I got from book 1, which I could have happily left where it ended, with a belief that these guys would find their way back to each other. This book feels more like the full-on rehab element of the series, where more of Justin comes back and where responsibilities get shared a little, helping both characters. It's once again full of low-key, realistic feel-good stuff and a voyage of discovery for Justin, and it feels less one-sided than book one, which of course had to be the latter. Readers might like to know that this tale does see the start of the leads getting back to a full relationship, including having sex. And I liked that the idea of sex was introduced organically, with realistic concerns on both guys' part and with talking and gentleness and selflessness, as well as a little deserved nice-type selfishness (sorry, I can't figure out how to better express that). There were some meaningful conversations about what a relationship entails when it boils down to it - love, happiness and being with the one who completes you. Book 3 comes out in a month, and will no doubt conclude this trilogy in the author's trademark way.

This series is spectacularly heartbreaking yet so very tender and uplifting. The writing and character development is incredible; my heart just ached for Justin and Dallas. On top of staying strong for Justin, Dallas starts to feel the financial strain and as it takes its toll, I just wanted to hold him and make it all okay. And as for Justin, this time around we get his perspective and it just heightened this sense of heartache. We're given more insight into his emotional and physical struggle and once again, it's wishing I could comfort both of them. But they still have each other and their relationship only gets stronger and stronger... and getting to explore the physical side again is deliciously hot! The love between Justin and Dallas is epic, and I cannot wait for the conclusion!

Pieces of Me is the second book in the Missing Pieces series and pretty much picks up from where book one left off. Juss has remembered Dallas’ tattoos but not much else. They are slowly picking up the pieces, trying to find a new normal. Up to this point Justin has been dealing the best he can, but he’s slowly becoming cognizant of just how limited he is and it becomes a source of frustration. And, of course, there’s only one person to whom he can express that anger and it doesn’t go over well. Dallas, on the other hand, has infinite patience. He almost loss Justin physically and so he’s grateful every day. The fact Justin doesn’t remember him hurts over and over again, but he’s able to compartmentalize those feelings and, for the most part, hide them from Justin. I’m sure there are plenty of people who not only considered leaving at this point but may have already. I’m just now remembering I had a friend who went through this exact thing. He was hit but a transport truck and shouldn’t have survived but did. My friend stayed by his side for over two years but it became too much. Too many issues kept arising and it became impossible for them to stay together. I’m still sad to think of how tough it was on both of them. I’m reassured in this book that Dallas isn’t leaving – under any circumstances. Never once does he even consider it. Justin is his whole world and as Justin regains snippets of memories, it becomes more and more clear just how much they were in love. Was life perfect? No. Fighting over toilet paper is never a good thing. Did they love each other fiercely? You bet. Holding down the proverbial fort, Dallas is facing some tough challenges that he refuses to share with Justin. He can’t fathom burdening his lover who is recovering from catastrophic injuries. But that means he’s left along to bear some big burdens, not the least of which is the financial. He’s holding on, but it’s a near thing. He’s waiting to hear back from the insurance, but those things take time and as he juggles so many balls, he’s well-aware what’ll happen if he drops one. These books start and chapter in Justin’s POV and then every chapter until the last is in Dallas’, then we return to Justin. Those quick glimpses from Justin’s perspective are brief but incredibly insightful. It’s an interesting structural choice. Normally I like fifty/fifty (or so) but this works. During the last chapter, Justin has a moment of realization: Dallas studied my eyes, fixed my hair, and smiled. “You sound like you’re talking about the future. And that’s a real good thing, Juss.” The future, yes. Something I hadn’t though about much at all. “I’ve spent all the time trying to put my mind back together. Maybe I need to stop concentrating on the pieces that are missing,” I admitted. “And start focusing on the pieces I have.” Dallas’ smile was breathtaking. “You talk about putting the pieces of you back together, but Juss, you’re also putting the pieces of me back together as well.” “The pieces of you?” He nodded. “My heart broke into a million pieces the day of the accident. I thought I’d lost you. Then you woke up and didn’t know who I was, and it broke all over again. But then you remembered my tattoos. You remembered me, and it meant so much. And every day since, you’re getting better and stronger, and you look at me now like you used to look at me, and piece by piece, you’re putting me back together.” I put my hands to his face. “All the pieces of you are perfect, Dallas.” He smiled and kissed my lips, my cheek, my eyebrow but he didn’t speak. Okay, so my heart took a knock. These two have been through so much and yet still haven’t quite come out the other side. There are more questions to answer – will Justin ever regain all his memories? Will he ever completely heal? Will he ever ride a motorbike again? Also, will their relationship be sustained through all the turmoil and upheaval. Will Dallas finally give up some of the control of will he break under the strain? This is an N.R. Walker romance so some of those answers should be self-evident, others not so much. I am eagerly anticipating the release of the final book of this amazing trilogy.

I was so happy to discover ‘Pieces of You' was only the first installment in a trio of ‘Missing Pieces'. Not because the first book felt incomplete but because I wasn’t quite done with them. I’m a fan of amnesia romance and this particular case walks the line of light angst with heavy fluff and it was just what I was looking for this past week! Things pick up from the final pages of book one, so be sure to snag it before you come here. Actually, save yourself another trip and just get all three…I’m sure you’ll want to see this through! What's to like: The pace is leisurely as it mimics Justin’s progress. This is not a race and for as many steps forward, he stumbles back a time or two. The best part about it is he is never alone. Dallas has stood by his side, steady and solid in Justin’s recovery. And Justin is getting better. Frustration rattles his patience but he’s determined to find his way back to the life he had before that pivotal day. As much as I adore Justin and Dallas, I also enjoyed the rest of their chosen family. And with a surprising twist, they are welcomed with open arms into another family. The pieces are coming together, maybe a bit differently, and with new ones replacing those lost, but piece by piece they are slotting back in place. What's to love: As things begin to come back together there’s a surge of elation and gratitude and the pages flew by. I’ll be honest and tell you I did fret a bit. I worried about Dallas and his unwavering strength. I worried about Justin and his grief over his lost memories. I worried about Davo and Sparra over the strain of holding the business going. But…I’ll tell you a secret, it was all for not. This second segment was all about healing and rebuilding. The fog is clearing and pieces are nestling together…it was beautiful to witness. AND!! We have one more final story to go…I think I’ll head there now. I have a strong feeling I’ll see you back here soon! Beware of: Clearly, this needs to be read in proper order, start the beginning, please! Since this is focused on healing, of the body and mind, the intimacy is appropriate. And plan on swooning and awwing, for it is flufftactular! This book is for: Of course, Walker fans and amnesia romance lovers will want to check out this lovely reconnection. “Pieces of Me” is a the second installment in the “Missing Pieces Series”. Justin “Jusso” Keith and Dallas Muller return and their gradual, second time around, relationship has its ups and downs. N.R. Walker brings a roller coaster ride of heavy emotion from Jusso and Dallas. As it’s a story of commitment, friendship, dedication, determination, love and romance. After a time of recovery from an almost deathly accident Jusso is determined and still recovering physically. Memory wise, it’s taking more time as bits and pieces come back to him gradually. He still get’s exhausted and still feels off- kilter about what life is like with missing pieces. Jusso is right, Dallas is always there and always says the right things to ease Jusso of his confusion and doubts. Dallas dedicates his time and energy to making Jusso feel self-worth and loved, no matter his own struggles with his responsibility to the garage, employees and finances. Along with his two employees, Dallas, Davo and Sparra work together to give Jusso some type of normalcy and the strength to bring him back into the fold. N.R. Walker also brings so many wonderful characters into the mix that contribute to making this a very beautiful love story. Davo, Sparra, Jusso’s sister Becca, and Jimmy and Nancy and even Dr. Chang. It’s not always the family that you have but the family you make along the way. I highly recommend and encourage anyone that loves a beautiful tale of love to read “Pieces of Me” but be sure to read “Pieces of You” the first novel that introduces Jusso and Dallas.

I am absolutely loving this series, Justin and Dallas are such amazing characters and I feel 100% invested in their journey! I definitely fell for these two right away and my love for them just keeps growing. This is one of those books/series that I just feel in my heart! Dallas is my hero, he is so patient and loving and kind, he loves Justin so deeply and his recovery is the main priority! Even when he's struggling to pay bills and run the business while waiting for the insurance to come through, he's still the rock that Justin needs. Justin, oh he is something so very special too. I loved seeing his progress, as he gets stronger and starts to find some of the missing pieces of himself. I really loved how the relationship between Justin and Dallas builds, it is so beautiful. I know I keep saying I love this and I love that, well it's true. I simply adore these two and their journey, and while there are times that break my heart, it also makes my heart so freaking happy it could burst. The love between Dallas and Justin is so real and sweet and pure. This series isn't about the angst or drama, but about healing and love and never giving up. I'm definitely looking forward to the next book and can't wait to see how their journey continues! This has easily become a favorite couple for me!

Pieces of Me by N.R. Walker was the continuation of Justin and Dallas’s story in the Missing Pieces series. After tragedy struck, Dallas and Justin forged towards a new life through friendship and love. Ms. Walker delivered pure and unadulterated emotion in this beautifully written story. Her uncanny ability to draw a reader into the story surpasses most authors as well as her ability to make the reader invested in the characters. Dallas was patient and loving, worried about everyday life while attempting to create a calm force for Justin to recuperate and retrieve his memories. Dallas’s love permeated throughout as did Justin’s for the man he fell for twice. Secondary characters enhanced the storyline and demonstrated how life affects all those involved whether directly or indirectly. Ms. Walker wrote sexy, comfort, and love- carefully placed and never forced as the journey of Dallas and Justin continued for the better. Loved this second instalment. From adjusting to their new normal, to meeting challenges and celebrating milestones, Dallas and Justin's relationship sees it all. And yet, through all this, they find a stronger way to be. Bond again, the second chance on offer something they do their best to embrace. Justin's ongoing struggles made my heart ache, but what I loved equally was to see how he made his way through the dense fog that clouded his mind. His challenges sure made me realise how we often don't appreciate those things we are able to do so easily just because we have our health. Dallas as ever was there for Justin, solid as a rock, but it was good to see him being taken care of also when he needed it most. The affection these two share was so wonderfully sweet, their connection so beautiful, it still shone through despite the jigsaw puzzle with missing pieces that was Justin's memory. I can't wait to read the next book. Riveting story, heart-filled and so very real.

It’s always good to spend time with characters you’ve grown to love. The first book broke my heart just a bit, but this one gave me all the happy, little feelings. This book picks up pretty much where the first left off. It focuses on Juss’s recovery and his ever-growing relationship with Dallas. I like how N.R. Walker isn’t afraid to tackle real issues and concerns in her books. They were not glossed over in this one, and it added to the quality of the story. Much like the first book, this one drew me in and put down roots. Picking this book up is akin to coming home. I love these men, and it’s like I NEED to know more about their story. I love the way N.R. writes. She is a brilliant storyteller. The pieces are starting to come together in Australia. Justin is recovering from the horrible accident that tore him up and took the last five years of his memories. It’s fascinating to watch Dallas hold back his emotions and for Justin’s feeling keep growing; a marvelous story of healing, therapy, the deep thoughts, and the challenges. It’s a smooth pace, full of descriptions and the progress of everyone involved. Dallas is strong and solid, while Justin is still damaged, and moving along slowly. There are problems, like finances and sex, the two main topics the guys avoid ‘til later on. Justin keeps remembering more, and Dallas is grateful for every day, good or bad. Then there is a breakthrough. I loved these dynamic characters, the exciting anticipation, and the whole tale is simply engrossing. Enjoy ! =====

This is a continuation of book two and as such cannot be read as a standalone. Hopefully, this isn’t a spoiler of sorts, but we surprisingly get two chapters from Justin’s point of view which was neat. This book is just as sweet as the first with ups and downs as Justin continues his recovery. There are some very charming moments with the resurgence of a few memories and a couple of nice new surprises but there is a scary moment as well. Justin is getting stronger and better which makes Dallas happier and takes some of the pressure off him. Overall, these guys have an amazing second chance at building their life together and they’re taking nothing for granted. They’ll be stronger for it. I’m anxious to see what happens with them in the third and final installment of this trilogy!

This book is an amazing and lovely book about the power of love. The story of Dallas and Justin and the road to Justin's recovery from his terrible car accident is tough and beautiful at the same time. I cried through much of the first book at how hard it was to find out that Justin had lost five years of memory and how awful for Dallas to realize that. And then for all that physically Justin had to endure to get his body back into any kind of shape to just get through a day by himself. And for both of them to get back the love and relationship they had. Wow...just a lovely and amazing book. So very beautiful on a lot of levels...friends, lovers, family (born and made)...Ms Walker is a treasure and I look forward to every single one of her books. Even when my heart breaks from them...She does put them back together!

After devouring the first book I couldn't wait to get my hands of book 2! I am so invested in the epic love story of Justin and Dallas. Pieces of Me is told from Justin's point of view and I loved seeing and feeling things from his perspective. Watching him struggle with the everything physical and emotional is heartbreaking. Seeing him catch glimpses of his past gives so much hope for his future. With the love and support from his partner Justin is making great gains towards recovery. He may never find all his missing puzzle pieces but he will always have his deep love for Dallas. I can't wait for the final installment of this truly amazing story. 1 like

The Missing Pieces series is so amazing and Pieces of Me picks up where Pieces of You left off. Justin and Dallas learn to fall in love all over as they start dating. Dallas is starting to feel the financial stress and burden as bills like up and he struggles to find a balance running his own business and helping his partner heal. I love how strong and supportive Dallas is of Justin's needs and putting him first. This becomes so clear when Justin starts to remember bits and pieces of their intimate moments. No spoilers but the sex talk happens in this book and Dallas and Justin have a deep and emotional conversation! I'm so excited for Pieces of Us in July 😍

N.R. Walker is an amazing author with a beautiful vision. Her characters are always well thought out and relatable. It doesn't matter what books she writes, she gives you everything you could possibly want in a MM romance novel. This is one of those books that once you begin to read it, you never want to stop. When it's over, you want to cry because you want more. Pieces of Me is the second in the Missing Pieces Trilogy. Pieces of Me is written from both points of view but we see a lot more of how Justin is feeling within his recovery. Justin battles continue with him trying to remember the bond he shares with Dallas and his life for the last 5 years. Dallas battles with trying to be a supportive person in his life without pushing Justin to remember their life together. You can feel the emotions both characters are feeling as they journey on the path to the unknown future. You will laugh, cry, and feel just a little bit heartbroken everytime you see either of them struggle. If you have not read Pieces of You, please read it first. This cannot be read as a standalone. I highly recommend this series and cannot wait for the next book.

I'm so in love with this series. Why? Because it's a reminder to all of us to live in the moment because you never know when tragedy or accidents might happen. This is the continued story of two men who is severely reminded of that in the first book. In this second one, they continue to rebuild their lives and their love for each other. It's a reminder that true love can conquer huge obstacles like amnesia. It's beautifully written and pulled me in. I can't wait to return to this world when the third book is released. This is not a standalone and the series must be read on order.

I received a free copy to read and review for Wicked Reads You must read the first book because this one picks up right where it left off. Holy crap on a cracker! I balled my eyes out reading the first book and I was on pins and needles through this book. Ugh....I just love Dallas so much, he is such a great guy. Justin has made progress and I couldn't wait to see how things ended. I honestly wanted more. I want to see more of their life, they are so good together. I want to read these books again and relive this wonderful relationship. Hands down one of my top five for this story type.

This book picks up from where book one ends. Everyday life is slowly creeping up on Dallas and it’s starting to take its toll. Justin’s mind is stating to clear with time and he is starting to make connections. Through it all they are slowly starting to reconnect on a deeper level. It was a nice to see the intimacy grow between the characters as well. This was a more realistic book, which will tug at you with its emotions as we see these two characters deal with life. I’m excited to see this trilogy conclude with the next book. I voluntarily received an arc of this book.

oh my god! Justin and Dallas have now taken complete ownership of my heart! They are perfect together! Dallas has a heart of gold, he’s just perfection and sweetness all rolled into a hot, tall and sexy package. Justin was been working so hard, recuperating day by day and aching to find himself, and in turn, completely discover his love for Dall. This book was achingly sweet, but heartbreaking also. Life is hard, and sometimes bad things happen, but the people that love you will always be there. I cannot wait for book 3. I know I’ll be a crying mess just like I was on this one.

Starting from a broken place, our boys (yes,mine too) rebuild a life using the energy of their love. The struggles strengthen the newly forming union. just like roses or your favorite veggies, they’re different than they used to be, but better than you imagined. Another winning romance NR!

This is a continuation of Justin recovery and Dallas unconditional love for him. Dallas has been carrying all this worries inside with Justin recovery, the shop, the bills, money issues his trying to balance it all. He has the patience of a saint and a heart of gold his dedication and love for Justin is so heartwarming. Finally things start falling into place, the insurance money get approve and Justin start to remember more including Dallas.

Putting the pieces of memories, healing, and love together is the continuation of Justin & Dallas’s love story. This is a slower pace second installment. It has all the good stuff, good storytelling, enjoyable MCs, and a happier ending. If you read the first book, you must read the second. Special mention: Dallas is Perfect! Like in a fairytale!😊 An aside: I would like, at least, a novella of Justin & Dallas getting married!

This was an amazing continuation of Dallas and Justin's story as they work through Justin's recovery and adjust to the changes in their relationship. Their story is just packed with all the feels and I just loved these characters and the fight they had to hang on to each other. Book three cannot come soon enough. Another fine addition to N.R. Walker's stellar must read books! I loved the fact that romance can and should be about hope, longevity, compassion, and of course love. These things make a story relevant to all. Juss and Dallas are as real to me as anyone else. I love that their life gets interrupted, but gets back on track. Love finds a way. And how wonderful it would be for everyone to have a Dallas?

Pieces of Me picks up where Pieces of You ends... Justin's journey towards recovery. As Justin remember a little more of the past 5 years, the pressure is on Dallas to try and hold it all together. I love the love these men have for each other. This book is so very well written, the character are endearing and the storyline realistic. On to book 3!!!

Love love love this next addition to this series. I still absolutely love Justin and Dallas! Just like the last book this one had my emotions everywhere. I love seeing how they develop their relationship more and them dealing with some very real issues. I love that N.R. Walker has made such a real story and I absolutely can't wait for the next book.

This was such a beautiful, heartfelt, grab-you-by-the-feels, tender, fantastic, incredible, powerful, poignant, gripping, emotionally charged, tug-at-your-heartstrings, amazing, and totally awesome addition to this marvelous series. It had me hooked from beginning to end, and I can't wait to see what happens next.

The continuation of Justin and Dallas’s story. Unconditional love for one another is a beautiful thing. Their bond is strong and I’m glad we get to spend more time with them. Dallas’s love and care of Justin brings happy tears to your eyes. To have a relationship so strong, amnesia wasn’t going to stop it. Off to read book 3....

Rating: 4 stars I thought this a really good second part to the Missing Pieces trilogy. I’m not sure how realistic it is because I don’t know much about TBIs, but the story felt real to me. All in all, a really good story about recovering from the effects of a traumatic brain injury.

This is the 2nd book and we see how Justin’s recovery is going. Dallas is a saint and more patient than most people would ever be. His love for Justin is always!!! As Justin get some of his memories back the love between these two just grows even more. So beautiful!

This is probably one of my favorite works that NR Walker has ever written. It is absolutely gorgeous! Heart wrenching and lyrical and just perfect. I love these guys so much and this installment in their story was fantastic. I so look forward to reading the last part but I will be so sad to see it end.

This was mostly mundane day to day (to day) stuff and Dallas is a gd Saint, so patient, so even tempered, is he even for real? I kept waiting for a shoe to drop but it was only a sock. Very sweet. Hope the next picks up a little.

Such a great love story. I don’t care who you are this was brilliantly written and the people in the story are real, funny and you fall in love with them as they fall in love with each other again.

After reading book one I was excited to read this & see how things turned out. It's a great love story that makes you feel warm & fuzzy. Justin & Dallas are such a loving pair. You want emotions & love then this book will give it to you.

Second book in a sweet emotional series. Justin was badly injured in an accident, and his partner Dallas has to deal with the fallout. Nice guys. Well worth the read.

Book 2 is just as good, if not even better, than Book 1. It was so nice to see Justin and Dallas heal and grow closer together. It’s not all hearts and flowers, but it’s real and sweet and lovely. Looking forward to the finale.

Five well-deserved gold stars!! I am seriously in love with this series. I do have trouble with some of Nic's couples cos I never know who is my fave and where they appear in my own personal pecking order, but Dallas and Justin are right up there with Charlie and Travis, Tom and Coop and Spencer and Andrew for me. The characterisations are just superb...there is SO MUCH LOVE on every page from Dallas in particular that it's no wonder I've been teary-eyed all day [but that might also have something to do with the fact that I was partying last night, celebrating [at home of course, thanks to this pandemic] Liverpool's first Premier League title for 30 years ⚽️🎉⚽️🏆🎉🏆...So happy that the hope I felt at the end of book 1 translated itself into the narrative of this one...LOVED IT TO BITS. Well done Nic.

The continuing story of Justin’s recovery from the accident & his returning memories was beautifully written. This story does not hold back on the realities of dealing with a brain injury & how it affects not only the person injured but also with how a partner would be affected. If you haven’t started this series I suggest you start right now as the concluding book will be out soon Xx

So glad to have the continuation of Justin and Dallas’s story. Emotional and sweet, but very real. Loved it just as much as book one.

I so enjoyed the ongoing story of Justin and Dallas. It is a gentle story, no big action scenes, no huge dramas, just - gentle. A little bit like the way Justin and Dallas like to live their lives. Enjoying the small stuff and appreciating every bit of happiness. I fell in love with these boys, Justin’s recovery is a slow process, one, two steps forward, a little step back. But he does make progress, physically and mentally, in gaining back a lot of what he had lost. Dallas, oh, Dallas. What a kind, gentle soul. The way he loves Justin, the way he cares for him melted my heart. It was beautiful to read of Justin’s progress and what it meant, not just for Justin, but for Dallas as well. I loved the supporting characters, making the story well rounded and feel-good. Five stars.
