Extremely helpful. Sometimes there are words that are not listed in here that my students are required to know; however, for the common words that they encounter or for the students to use during tests instead of their translators, this dictionary is the best that I have found.

what a helpful dictionary, which is translated from english to english, and the explains pretty easy to understand or guess the meaning, there are 2000 common vocabularies and more, and examples...I really love it, it's real a good choice for the foreigners, i am sure ;)

I haven't seen them all but I absolutely LOVE this one for ESL students of AMERICAN English. Phenomenal for too many reasons to list, but which the book's description mentions... wish I had more energy to go into all the details but I would pay triple the price to get this book. It is perfect for my beginning ESL (adult) students.

Finally, what I needed. It has many useful features despite the fact that it is a basic dictionary. It has note boxes on grammar, collocation, thesaurus, and more. Also it is colorful and probably the most enjoyable basic dictionary.

Finally a very good dictionary for an italian learner here in USA since few months: well printed, very easy to handle, most important words in red, I LIKE IT!
