Self published fluff

This book is over 500 pages but could easily be 200 with exactly the same amount of text. the author is trying to make you think this is super comprehensive but the type is made extra large and more than double spaced while not even extending the full length of each page. One would think with as much as there is regarding reading charts in this book that there would be some actual charts to illustrate his points. NOPE. Not even one. He obviously couldn't figure out how to include them as a self-publisher. There may be some good info in this but I didn't need info for complete green horns and given the lack of charts in a topic that absolutely needs them coupled with the deception and needless tree-killing going on, I don't think the author is deserving of your money.

Don't waste your money

The author may understand the subject, but his knowledge was very poorly communicated through the book. For me, it was a total waste of money. I guess in the future I'll place a higher priority on the number of reviews than on the average rating, as there were relatively few reviews conducted at the time that I purchased it. I chose that book over similar ones because I wanted something that was written fairly recently. Big mistake in this case.

Great for the beginner trader

This collection does a very thorough job exolaining each trading type. It looks at basic terminology and strategies. I think where this collection shines though is its assessment of riak management for each trading type. The author offers practical advice (ex: 3 losses in a row = stop trading) that the reader cannot help but listen to because it makes sense. I also think the author does a good job highlighting tips and missteps for each trading type. Rather than appearing as a know-it-all guru like some manuals, this author instaed comes across as a sage mentor meant to guide rather than scold. I learned a lot from this book.

Pitfalls to avoid when it comes to option trading

You will encounter downturns from time to time, especially during trading. If not dealt with, you may end up burnt out and extremely frustrated. You must know how to handle yourself in these cases to avoid further despair. Try to making the best out of a bad situation. this following pointers may be of help to you. Embrace your failure and accept it Do not avoid addressing your shortcomings, however embarrassing they may be Take personal responsibility and avoid blaming others Analyze your actions and identify where you went wrong Consider whether you would have handled the situation differently. Most importantly listen to the opinions and advice of your colleagues.

This book reads like a 6th grader tried to write a book report from wikipedia

I wish i could give 0 stars. This book reads like a 6th grader tried to write a book report from wikipedia. I would not accept this book for free. I rarely bother with reviews, but this book is so unbelievably awful, I just can’t...

Learn how to profit.

This book is a great book, if looking to invest and make a profit .This book is very understandable and can easy follow .It teaches you exactly what to do . Like with option trading , the techniques and the risk involved. I'm going to keep around for reference . A very informative book ,would recommend .

options trading

This two book collection provides you with everything you need to know about option trading. Option trading and swing trading are explained. The author goes into detail on each topic. He provides you with the information to feel confident in your trading, with whichever one you choose. He provides you with pitfalls to avoid and tips and tricks. Good collection of books to have if you are involved in trading.

Save your money.

This book is littered with typos and missing charts. Look at the pages I posted for example. The mathematics is wrong on page 302 and the explanation for the options profit on page 303 does not make any sense.

No one bothered to edit this book prior to print. Typos everywhere.

I could only get through like 100 pages before I had to quit. It is so apparent no one read this book prior to printing it because there are typos, grammatical errors, missing graphs, and all sorts of just bad writing. If you can't reread what you are going to publish, it is not me reading it at all.

Buyer Beware

I will give this 2 starts, because it is a book, and it does have some information. However, this to me reads like a first draft of a book that was then put into print without ever being proof read or edited. Their are blatant grammatical errors everywhere, and this is coming from an engineer, grammar is not my forte. The organization and flow of the chapters is all over the place. Some chapters will start talking about topics that haven't been explained yet, but are then explained in later chapters. Everything is discussed in a high level "hand wavy" method in which no real detail is applied to any of the topics. There are almost no visual aids in the book, and in fact on page 127 (soft cover) a chart is discussed and referenced that is not actually in the book, it was totally left out. I am highly suspicious of the other positive reviews on here after actually reading through this book. I would recommend looking elsewhere for info on options trading.

Depends on what seeking

I give the book 5 stars for introducing ideas. This book, however, is not for a beginner or for an experienced option trader. Its not descriptive enough, which would affect a beginner and an experienced option trader. I give the book 1 star for editing. It refers to graphs and charts that do not exist. It also contains words that are both incomplete or the wrong word entirely. As for introducing ideas, the book was very helpful. I never heard of the FOREX market, nor did I know of the names of many of the options strategies. It also gives insight into managing your portfolio money to avoid huge losses. If you like to read, and can handle poorly edited books, then ok.

Warning- this book has no graphical illustrations

This book has no illustrations to help visualize what the author is teaching. A complicated subject describing options strategies such as iron condors, etc. requires more examples and illustrations, profit and loss curves, etc. I would not recommend this book.

Good information.

There is a ton of information here that can help you out as a beginner in option trading. Highly recommended.

Waste Money, Look for other books

It is a waste of money, anyone wants to start to trade options should look for other books.

What the beginning trader needs to know

This is a must read for the beginning trader. This book teaches you all you need to know about Options Trading, investing strategies and how to make a profit. This book is written and intended for the average person who wants to make their money start working for them. You will not make millions, you will not be best buds with the Fortune 500 Elite; but, you will be able to watch your savings grow. No ,ore retirement worries, no more wondering if your kids will get the opportunity to go to college. If these are some of your worries; normal, everyday people worries, then this is a must read. I, myself am going to keep this book on my bookshelf for reference.

Poorly written.

This book was clearly not checked by an editor. The author rambles, there are multiple grammar errors throughout making it at times difficult to read. The “chapters” are in apparently no discernible order. There are not enough actual examples and the content could be better explained with graphs and tables in several cases. Do not waste your money on this book like I did!

Good Advise

I gave this book 4 stars because it gives pretty good tips on how to invest. This book describes which stocks are a better risk then others. What to look for when investing and how you can be a smart stock shopper. I have been using a app to invest small but had no idea what I was doing. This book helped me with figuring out how to pick the right stocks. Both books are great for a new investor that needs a overview of the whole process.

Passive income

Learn the best day and swing trading strategies. This will teach you to be very successful at having a passive income

Every risk is high

There are tips for success in this book even some far as mentioning you talk with a financial advisor. There are many types of options and their definitions. Reduce your losses and maximize your wins. One way is with ETFs which give you a variety in purchasing. Read the book and take what you need to begin trading.

Good information

There are two books in this collection that provides information about Option trading and swing trading. The author goes into detail on each topic. He provides the information to feel confident in whichever trading the person decided to do. It goes over the pitfalls to avoid and tips and tricks.

Choose another book

This is so poorly written I couldn’t make it beyond 45 pages. Clear lack of editing and horrendous grammar. Mistakes were rampant. Maybe the material is good, but I prefer writers who are strong communicators as well as subject matter experts.

Learn about options trading

I like how this book gives you information on how to be successful when trading, but I also likes that fact that it mentioned getting a financial advisor. A book can provide a ton of information, but sometimes something is better understood when talked about.

Is trading options for you?

This book is a practical guide for someone looking into options trading. If you are focused, not driven by emotion, not afraid to take risks, including loosing some money, and can keep good records, options Trading may be for you

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

This book is horrendous, the entire book is double spaced, there are spelling errors littered throughout the entire book, there are statements that make absolutely no sense whatsoever, the author consistently doesn’t fill the pages completely and there is such a lack of illustrations it makes this book (if we can even call it that) so incredibly hard to follow. This book truly seems like they took a pencil to the zoo and had an actual monkey write this. Literally awful. Do not believe the 5 star reviews this book is complete garbage. If I could I would email the author and demand my money back.

Realistic advice and trading terms easily explained

This is a good book on how to get started with options trading. It gives good advice and explains things in simple terms. This is very well written and good for anyone wanting to learn more about options trading.

This really helped me

Before reading this book, I thought options were something above my head and way out of my reach. Options trading isn't as complicated as I thought, and this author seems to know exactly what they're talking about.

Not worth the coin.

Do yourself a favor and look for another book or form of lessons. This book is poorly edited and not well written. I am tracking the cost of this book as goodwill in my P&L in hopes this review saves a few people money by not buying "Options Trading 2: Books In 1". Very disappointing to say the least.

Good Book

This is very interesting and informative. I enjoyed reading and learning more about option trading. Definitely recommend this if you are interested in learning more about option trading.

not a bad bundle

basic strategies for options trading will be discussed in this book for newbies! There are also risk management tips and the important rules in trading. helpful bundle if you are still learning how it works

A struggle to read

The writing is atrocious. The book is full of misspellings and poor grammar. I’m having a VERY hard time reconciling that with it being advice about what to do with my money. Many of the explanations and examples are fragmented and/or incomplete, and I may take the author’s advice and eat the loss and move on.

Lots or errors and duplication

The first thing you will notice is there are a significant amount of word errors throughout the book. Sentences do not complete correctly and works are obviously incorrect. The author needs to consider a different editor. There is also a significant amount of duplication. I realize this is partly due to '2 books in 1', but in my opinion, the author should spend more time/detail on the various topics.

Options trading made easy

This book outlines everything about options trading so its easy to understand. It gives you the tools you need so you can be successful.

I would not recommend this book.

The book has several grammatical errors. The book seems like it was translated into english the way it articulates common phrases and stock market lingo. Chart references are black and white pictures trying to explain bulls and bear markets but they are all similar dull grays. Had this been the first book I’d ever read on options, I would be completely lost. I would not recommend this book.

Never Traded Before?

You will be a pro in options trading with the steps laid out in this book and maybe even earn enough extra income to retire.

Difficult read skip this one

Incredibly difficult to read and I already had a short tutorial about call options trading. Also terrible complex examples when describing something...can't believe author used own examples they are that bad....so confusing

Very disappointing

First of all it is full of typo’s making it difficult to read. It seems like it was thrown together quickly. It isn’t well organized and doesn’t really teach you anything you couldn’t learn on investapedia. I’m sorry I bought it.

Stocks are looking good

Big book, still have lots to learn

Not really that helpful

Not well organized. Could be ending up more confusing to a reader who does not really have a background to options trading even though it was explained albeit lightly.

Completely worthless and semiliterate.

The book must have been written as a joke. It was awful. I tossed it in the trash.

This book does contain any charts or illustration.

The book is an easy read. However it does not contain any chart illustrations.

Want to know truth

Sucked

Not well written

Poorly written. Same ideas are merely regurgitated throughout the book.

Content of this book

Too hard to understand. It’s not simplified.

Terrible option to learn options.

This book does not have anything in it that can't be found by doing a Google search. This is the most watered down, generic book on options I've had the misfortune to read. The reason it is so many pages is because the text is so large and it's double spaced. I'm not sure what I can type to dissuade people from buying this book, but DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK. If you want to learn about options, there are other books that do a much better job, and go into more detail. This book doesn't have pictures of any charts in the Technical Analysis section. It was cobbled together to take your money. Buy a different book.
