Stomping in the Muddy Waters
(Disclaimer: I was provided a copy of the book and decided to provide my honest review, which I have.) Muddy Waters was Fantastic!!!! I was so excited to be able to read once again about Leafy Hollow. And I was not disappointed. The author has always been very effective in keeping the storyline on the train track book-to-book. It never skips a beat so you can pick up where you left off in the previous book and just read. That is what I particularly value about this author, that regardless of books one through four the storyline did not waiver. The adventures changed, various people came and went, life changes occurred, but not the infrastructure of the series. The reader doesn’t have to take a timeout to remember what they could of the book prior, before starting to read the current book. Honestly, that happens to me after reading chapter one. Lastly, I really saw the characters’ development along with the storyline and it was extraordinary. The protagonist, Verity, was simpler in book one than in book four. To have the ability to synchronize growing the character’s development along with the storyline complexity takes your breath away. The Leafy Hollow Series was a good read and I am glad I did so. RECOMMENDATION: BUY THE BOOK, find a comfy spot to read, and before you know it you’ll be having a fabulous time in Leafy Hollow. –Tex. (P.S. I bought the book – couldn’t help it).
Like an I Love Lucy Episode
This is the fourth in The Leafy Hollow Mystery series. I listened to the book. The narrator is very good. Aunt Adeline is still missing. We get some answers to questions that arose in the three previous books, double agents, missing ransom money and jealousy. Plenty to keep you turning the pages. This reminded me a lot of A I Love Lucy episode. I enjoyed the story.
Fun read
Enjoyed this book a lot. Recommend the series. If you enjoy light reading, this series for you. Get reading soon.
Another entertaining return to Leafy Hollow!
The 4th book in the Leafy Hollow series finally answers some questions from the previous books. A kidnapping, the return of a former beau, and a mysterious group? Verity certainly has her hands full as she seems to get closer to finding out where her aunt is in the midst of delivering a ransom and dealing with the not so welcome return of her former beau. I love this series and every I return to Leafy Hollow, I become more enamored with it. Rickie Blair has built a cozy little town with quirky and interesting characters and intriguing mysteries that keep you up late at night to see the story through. Although these can be read as standalone books, I recommend you start from the beginning of the series in order to get the full background of Leafy Hollow and its characters. I definitely recommend this series to cozy mystery lovers as the author has developed a charming multidimensional series that will keep you coming back for more. I received an ARC of this book and all opinions are my own.
Awesome
This was my favorite of the series, so far. Ms Blair has got to be a pretty quirky & colorful character in her own right! I’m sure that’s where her characters are formed. I really enjoyed the twists & turns in this story. Each character providing a vital part of the story line. I like the close knit feel of the village. A beautiful place with good & not so good people, plenty of colorful characters, a bit of romance & of course, the touch of sinister lurking in the shadows. Looking forward to seeing what comes next
A fantastic 4th book in a fantastic cozy mystery series! This book is a must read!
This is the 4th book in a really fun to ready cozy mystery series that makes you crave for more as soon as you finish. Written with lots of twists and turns and red-herrings, put together brilliantly with humor! Will Verity be able to solve this one? No one believes her when she talks about what has happened and the strangeness of what is happening. Will Jeff actually believe her or will it be a wedge between their blooming romance. Will the appearance of Verity's long ago High School sweetheart thow a monkey wrench in her relationship with Jeff? And why did he show up after all these years and how did he actually find her? Will she finally get some answers about her aunt's disappearance? You must read this book to find out! I love this series and the growth of Verity's character throughout the 4 books in this series. I received an ARC from the author but the opinions expressed here are stricly my own.
Great read
This is the 4th book of the Leafy Hollow series. It is a fantastic series. In this book Verity is right in the middle of the craziness as usual! Someone is kidnapped and verity has to deliver the ransom. There is a murder, a bank robbery and lots of twists and turns. All Verity wants is to find her aunt alive and well but she is constantly embroiled in more and more immediate situations. Her ex boyfriend come back to interfere in her relationship with Jeff. As usual there is a lot of intrigue,, twists and turns and excitement with the quirky and funny characters of this little village! This book answers a lot of lingering questions from the previous books. The only thing I didn’t like is the fact that this book seems to conclude the series! I really hope I’m wrong because I loved this series! I highly recommend this book and all the books in this series.
Note to author - Keep writing this series please!
I am a cozy mystery addict way back from Agatha Christy's time. I love the comfortable read in this series... I'm hard to please. I like no cussing nor porn nor gushy sticky overly romantic reads. Hate stories that drag on. But this series moves along, is light-hearted and entertaining. Love the vivid characters and their interactions, love the intertwining plots and the ongoing underlying plot. It's humorous with some touches of imaginative possibilities. The series has me hooked and my only fear is - if it ends! 😟
Another great book
Verity is still trying to locate her aunt. The secret organization isn’t much help. But for a secret organization there seemed to be a lot of people that knew about it! This is a really fun series. The friendships are strong and I like the romantic way things are going with Verity and Jeff. Very sweet. The mysteries were intense!
Great series, read in order.
Verity Hawkes moved to Leafy Hollow because her Aunt Adeline went missing. Most people believe she is dead after her car was retrieved from a river, but Verity believes her aunt is alive and continues to search for her. Nellie Quintero the realtor has gone to show a house to a new client that she never met. Nellie is always on time and waiting for the client, when suddenly something is put over her head and being thrown into a car. Wilf finds her car and asks the police to investigate. Everyone is searching for Nellie. Then a ransom note shows up asking for 50,000.00 abd to be dropped by Verity and only Verity. I enjoyed this series many red herrings, but everything does get resolved.

Fabulous Leafy Hollow Romance, Mystery and Fun!
Village a hotbed of criminal and spy activity. Jeff and Verity grow closer, but with complications. Will Jeff trust and believe Verity? Lorne grows bolder. Kidnap, ransom, and murder. What about Verity's aunt? Is a high school beau more help or hinderance? I originally received an advance copy of this book. I'm a huge fan, so was also thrilled to buy the book during a great pre-order sale. A fun new chapter in the crazy adventures of a small village not too far away from the Canada side of Niagra Falls.
Kidnapping and suspense in Leafy Hollow
Muddy Waters is a wonderful Cozy mystery with just enough humor to make it even more enjoyable. Verity is still trying to find out what has happened to her Aunt and keeps getting cryptic messages from "Control". When the town's Realtor goes missing and a ransom is demanded and Verity must deliver the ransom, things get stranger than ever. Not only is the money not picked up, when the bag that police detective Jeff watched being filled by the President of the bank, they find that most of the "money" is just copies. The banker disappears without a trace. Can Verity solve the crime? Why does her old high school flame show up? What will his presence do to Verity and Jeff's relationship? A must read!
Page Turner
I’m not a fast reader but this series is a page turner for me. After reading #3 I waited before I ordered #4...and 5 and 6. Tried to read another soft mystery and it just didn’t grab my attention like this series. Twist turns love and suspense...goodread...now on to #4. Will probably finish this in a day too
Finally the waters clear enough to solve the mystery!
I'm so glad I stuck with this series until the end. There were some weird parts that looked like it was going paranormal or something-which I don't care for, but it never stepped over the line. I got too involved with the characters to stop reading, and the author pulled it all together in the end. Believable situations? Nah! But I read for pleasure and entertainment and this book certainly provides that. Overall clean, funny, and full of twists and turns. Try it-you'll like it!
Another winner
As always, this series really got to me. I loved Verity character. How she changed, evolved, from book one to now, book 4. I felt and rooted for her. The romance was (very) slowly built, yet it fit with Verity’s character. The mystery story itself was a stand-alone, so not to worry, you could jump right in to this book. But believe me, you’ll want to read the previous books as well. You’ll enjoy it more. There were some additional information about Verity’s aunt as well, the over arching storyline. Needless to say, I enjoyed this book very much.
Plowing through the series
Book 5 in the Leafy Hollow series is next. These adventures are so clever and fun, I just keep reading them.
A Wild Plot Foiled
In some ways this is my least favorite book in the Leafy Hollow series, but it is still a 5 star. I prefer the murder mystery format and this was more spy format. But series running questions as to the fate of Verity's aunt are resolved. I so enjoy the location and characters. The suggestion has been made that Verity become a private detective, which would easily keep the series going. Again, should be read in order. Earlier details re the series in my reviews of the earlier books.
Fun cozy mystery
I like this author's story telling style. I am involved with the characters. Therefore I will continue to follow the series.
Really enjoyable.
The Leafy Hollow mystery series is just a fun read. Just when you think you know who did it, it takes an interesting turn. I'm looking forward to the next one.
Excellent series
I absolutely love this series. The characters are fun and amusing. I would highly recommend this Author and this series!
Finally!
After three books in leafy hollow, book 4 is where it all comes to a head and things happen. Some of it may have wrapped up too neatly but the book was still a good read.
Enjoy the ride!
I love this series and look forward to each new book. Verity's search for her aunt continues, with some very bizarre twists. This series is best read in order, since the storyline, as well as the characters, continues to develop. I never expected to enjoy the stranger parts of these stories, but they are so well done that they are almost believable. You know, "the willing suspension of disbelief." Just do it!
I love this series!
It’s a light hearted easy read with a wonderful mystery with a little romance. Always a happy ending. My kind of book.
Muddy Waters
What a great read! We get the answers to a number of questions raised by books 1-3...some surprises there folks😉 The characters continue to grow in depth and the plot had my body "ticking" in time. Again, there were enough plot twists that I didn't figure it out until the end...really enjoyed and I think it might be the best of the series so far.
Another great book in the series,
Another great book in the series. As with all the other books I was hooked from the very beginning. All the characters seem like friends because of how real they seem. You have kidnap, ransom, and murder. There is always twist and turns that keeps me guessing until the end. If you like a good cozy mystery then this book and series is for you. Can't wait for the next book.
Twists at every turn
Keep up the good work. And thank you for a truly enjoyable read and love the strong female charactors. Keep up the good work. And thank you for a truly enjoyable read
Cheryl
I was a little disappointed in this book’s plot. The syndicate stuff seemed a little improbable to me and the pacing seemed a little rushed. The ending was a bit of a letdown, too. Still, Verity continues to make progress with her hunky police officer, Jeff. But, seriously, isn’t she going to get paranoid with all of the murders happening around her? I guess I’ll have to read the next book to see what is in store for Verity.
I like these a lot!
It’s a loving and active group of folks in an « it’s a wonderful life » dance, but quite satisfactory!!
A fun and easy read.
This is the 4th book in the series. I have enjoyed each one. Verity and her friends are quite the characters. This book dealt with the mysterious Control and Verity's Aunt. Not going to spoil it for anyone who has not read this book yet, but I was glad how everything was worked out. I will definitely continue to read this series.
Great Whodunnit! Don't miss out!
What a great book! I couldn't figure out who the 'bad guy' was. Actually, the whodunit was different than the bad guy. It was so faced paced and offered so many plausible bad guys; didn't know the bad guy until the writer was good and ready to tell me! I love that! Don't miss out on the series!! Highly recommend this book.
Read the first THREE and happily bought this one too !
I haven't read this one yet, it was part of a collection of free books I got, but based on the first THREE books, I'm looking forward to this one being just as good. I like cozies and the characters reoccurring, so I'm very happy with this series, very funny and amusing.
Good
Good book
Leafy Hollow review
Good read but I felt the plot of this series was taken directly from Jana Deleon's Bayou series. Young woman, New town 2 sidekicks solving the town's murders, falls for the sheriff.
Cute story.
Brings a bit of completion to previous books! Was disappointed. Can’t decide if I will buy other books in this series!
Another Cozy Canadian Mystery
This is another great story in the Leafy Hollow Mystery series. As always, there are some ‘laugh out loud’ moments in a nice mystery. I really enjoy the characters with all of their flaws. This book ties up a lot of loose ends from the series, yet stands alone quite well.
Great fourth book in the Leafy Hollow Mysteries.
This is the fourth Leafy Hollow mystery I’ve read and each book gets better and better. This Installment is filled with lots of suspense and intrigue. I love Verity, Em and Lorne... and, Jeff...oh, my. Read Muddy Waters and get caught up on the adventure and mystery. You won’t be disappointed.
Loved this series
Wonderful series with well developed characters and interesting plot twists even if the mysterious device in Verity's basement was a bit hard to believe. I love the characters and hope more books will be written.
Like all of Rickie's books
Like all of Rickie's books, this one is a real mystery. One never knows who did it and each new page brings more questions. It is not until the end that you are really sure what will happen. The book enjoys mystery with a love twist to keep the adventure up. Really worth the read.
Good one
The last book in the Leafy Hollow series was excellently done. I was sad to finish with the characters who made the story come alive.
Delightful cozy!
This is a wonderful cozy mystery! It starts off quickly and never slows down. It’s about friendships, a little romance, undercover agents, A missing aunt, holograms, and it all will keep you wanting to read to the end. I loved the book and can’t wait for the next one!
Another Winner!
Rickie Blair has done it again! She has created an amazing cast of characters that are intriguing. There are twists and turns in the mystery that kept me guessing, as her other Leafy Hollow books did. For an enjoyable read, you can't go wrong with her books. Have Fun..
Still enjoying these.
I still love these characters and this series, even though this story wasn’t as strong as the others. I am hoping “control” is phased out if the next book.
great series
Great series...each one gets better
So good!
I loved this fourth installment! I really like how Rickie includes characters already in the series instead of constantly introducing new characters. Her series is very well thought out and enjoyable. I love Verity and Jeff’s relationship and how it continues to grow in this book.
Loved it!
I really have enjoyed the whole Leafy Hollow series. I gave it a five because this one made happen everything I wanted to see happen, but had plenty of twists and turns before it finally got there! Loved it!
Really great series
If you love the unexpected heroine, a story with a wild plot and even wilder twists you will enjoy these books. The characters draw you in and you can't wait for the next installment. So read on and enjoy.
Enjoy Rickie Blair's story telling!
I chose this rating because I enjoyed the story. I cannot critique a piece of literature but I enjoy stories she tells very much . I recommend them highly. I've read 4 and intend to read more!
Great Read
This is a fun, cozy series with likable characters and a good mix of humor and mystery. I’m reading all the books in the series.
Another Great book in a Great series.
I have really enjoyed this series and love all the characters. I can’t wait to see what will be next in upcoming books. Rickie does wonderful job to keep your attention that you can’t put it down.
Enjoyable romp
Mysterious conspiracies, missing family members and a new lease on life are all on Verity Hawkes plate. And she deals with them all as any person would...with mishaps, misturns and willingness to do her best.
You will be hooked waiting for the next book!
Love this series. Can’t wait for more!
Very enjoyable
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. There were a lot of twists going on that kept me reading until the end. It was hard to know who to believe. Love the sarcasm.
Fun book
Had fun reading all four of the Leafy Hollow Mysteries. They kept my interest, without causing major bouts of sorrow,fear,elation,ecstasy....emotions that can sometimes become draining. These books are enjoyable, easy, fun reads.
Fun, light, enjoyable
Love the characters, the plot is interesting and not gruesome, a really nice summer beach book. Love the series and am looking forward to the next one

Verity's Back Solving Crimes
It's always fun spending time with Verity and her friends. This time the story focused more on the mysterious Control that's been more or less in the background of the previous books in the series. There's also an explanation as to why Verity and her aunt have the same last name. I know I'm not the only one who wondered about that. I like that Verity's investigative skills get stronger with each book and that her involvement in the cases is becoming more and more natural. She also develops as a character with each book, which is nice to follow. It was good to have some more solid information on Control and what they're all about. I think this was an important book for the series. However, I really hope the next book focuses a little more on a purely Leafy Hollow centered mystery. It's nice to spend time there. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Can Verity figure out what is going on in her small town and right it again?
Verity Hawkes' memory isn't what it used to be....like it is gone. But she has moved on and things are going pretty good. She has a job she likes and developing a relationship with a detective that is easy on the eyes. But she has an ex-boyfriend who is an hinderance to her. Then there is a kidnapping and the kidnappers want her to handle the ransom. Something isn't adding up for her. Can she figure it out in time to save the victim and get the kidnappers? This sounds like a serious story, but it really is a light hearted fun read. I voluntarily reviewed ARC of this book The review is my own opinion.
this book is the best one yet
I have to say, this book is the best one yet. It had a bit of a different feel to it, more gritty, but no less funny. And the addition of a new character made things very interesting. He always seemed to turn up at the wrong place and at the wrong time. The Niagra Falls conspiracy was so Austen Powers, but it did add to the suspense in this book. The plot was excellent, equal parts amusing and tense. I so hope there are more books about Verity and her friends. Recommended to everyone who loves a goos cosy-mystery as well as lots of humour. Thank you to the author for the opportunity to read and review this book.
Muddy Waters (The Leafy Hollow Mysteries book 4) by Rickie Blair
Muddy Waters (Leafy Hollow Mysteries book 4) by Rickie Blair Oh I happily sat down with this book to read Verity’s latest plans in her search for Aunt Adeline who had disappeared but Verity was positive she was still alive.. The weird screens in her basement gave her grief by not giving clear precise answers to her questions so she threw something and broke two computer screens! I would have done the same thing. She is backed by great friends including Lorne who works with her at Aunt Adeline’s gardening service and he doesn’t mind filling in and doing it all if she has to run off detecting. He goes out with Emy the wonderful shop owner who bakes mouthwatering desserts as well as other food Verity can’t resist. Emy is also Verity’s BFF in Leafy Hollow while Jeff the handsome Police Detective so far is only Verity’s boyfriend in her daydreams. They had yet to actually arrange even a date, let alone a kiss. For an idyllic country village, so far Verity had been caught up in a few murders and been given the reputation of village sleuth! These are just such enjoyable novels to read. I get a smile every time I begin a new one, this is number four and I have really liked the characters since book one, From Garden To Grave. I was given this ebook but the review is all my own. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.
excellent
When the town's realtor gets kidnapped, a ransom for $50,000 is demanded and Verity is to drop it off. Jeff, the handsome detective is not at all happy with putting Verity in the front line, but when the Prime Minister phones to asks Verity to help out, she can hardly say no, although she cannot understand how Nellie is important enough to have the ear of the PM. But the ransom drop goes pear shaped and suddenly, nothing is as it seems and no one is who they seem to be either. "Control" promises that Aunt Adeline is alive and will be home in a few days but Gideon is still missing and there is talk of rogue agents who are playing both sides. Did they mean Gideon? or Adeline? and although she is not supposed to do so, she tells Jeff all about it, hoping that he will be able to help but instead, he thinks that she is pulling his leg and made the whole thing up. Or perhaps she made it up to mislead him, because Bryan, her crush from high school has suddenly turned up and is ready to fan the ambers of an old flame. An excellent book 4 from Rickie Blair. I think I sort of enjoyed this all the more because it brings all the loose ends together and leaves few questions unanswered. Although it can be read as a standalone, do yourself a favour and start with the books in order - you will appreciate them all the more
Chaos, mystery and secrets
Muddy Waters by Rickie Blair is the fourth book in the Leafy Hollow Mystery series and focuses now on tieing up some of those mysterious questions about her Aunt, Control and where her neighbor has been for the past few weeks. Another adventure for Verity with plenty of surprises this time including double agents, another murder, kidnapping, and missing ransom money. A fast paced plot with the usual laughter as Verity tries to find the answers. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. All of the above opinions are my own.
Fun and enjoyment continues
Another fun and enjoyable reading Cozy mystery story by Rickie Blair in the continuing series of Leafy Hollow mysteries as the search for the missing aunt continues with suspenseful activities taking a rather unexpected turn. It is of course also the continuing story of the slow developing love between the two main characters. Once again it takes the nosiness of amateurs to help guide the police in their attempts to solve all the crimes covered between the pages of the book. This is a voluntary review of an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
A great mystery series - should be read in order
This is the fourth book in the Leafy Hollow mystery series and I would recommend reading the books in order. In this installment the mysterious "Control" agency which was a background story in previous books takes over the main part. Once again we are provided with a touch of romance, some laugh-out-loud situations and an intriguing mystery with twists and turns. The characters developing nicely and I always enjoy coming back to Leafy Hollow. A great mystery set in Canada.
Book 4 in this fun cozy mystery series
Book 4 in this fun cozy mystery series. I have read all of them and I think it was helpful in keeping track of all that was going on. Verity's still looking for her Aunt. Romance is still blooming between Jeff and Verity. This cozy mystery has a lot of great humor too. Can't wait for book #5. I was gifted this book with the understanding I would leave an honest review.
Very Interesting Read
This has to be one of the most interesting books (which is the last of the series) I have ever gotten into. The twists and turns take you down the long slippery slope. Just when you have it figured out-it turns again. Looks like Aunt Adeline is probably the busiest character in the whole book. You really don't want to put the book down.
Another fun read
The Leafy Hollow series continues with this book 4. I really enjoyed the story line. This is an entertaining cozy series with some mystery, some romance, and enough intrigue. To keep the reader interested. I highly recommend this fun series set in Canada, full of quirky characters, humor, and mystery. This is one of my favorite cozy series.
Another great book in the series
Great continuation of the series. If you haven’t read the first three I would recommend it so you have a better understanding of the characters and what is going on. I like the progression that the characters are making. I don’t always agree with the characters choices but it leads to some interesting developments.
Her final case or will she manage to overcome the obstacles
Another great read. An abducted estate retailer leads our investigator into a abyss of of life changing finds. Mix in a plot to blow up a dam, the identity of Control, moles and her missing aunt for a roller coaster ride that will propel you through the book. The plot has numerous twists and turns that will leave you wondering who the real culprit is. The characters as always are as charming as ever and this book draws even more facets of their identity out. Will she now finally see her aunt again or will this be her final encore. A terrific read that you can read as part of the series or as a one off (but the underlying threads are better understood if you read the series). Recommended
A fun cozy mystery
Muddy Waters is a fun cozy mystery with a bit of a spy story built in as well. This is the fourth book in the series, and every one is a blast. The narrator fits the books and does a terrific job bringing the story to life. I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook. This is my honest and voluntary review.
Review of Muddy Waters
I enjoyed reading this book! I did receive a free copy for a voluntary review which I am happy to provide. I have read the other previous books in this series and felt this book really answered a lot of questions I had simmering on the back burner! It was nice to see the general part of this series move forward and get some of my questions answered regarding Verity's Aunt!! I'm always happy reading about a love interest and Verity's special guy Jeff had some ups and downs in this book which were a bit touch and go but ending on a high note! I love all the main supporting characters in the town that I'm learning to love as much as Verity is learning to love living there. The setting is quaint, the characters are endearing and the plot moves along! Enjoy!
Charming and humorous cozy mystery
I enjoyed this charming and humorous cozy mystery with quirky characters, laugh-out-loud moments, twists, turns, and a touch of romance, set in Canada. I knew as soon as I started reading that I wouldn't be able to put the book down until I read the last word. I really like Verity Hawkes and her dynamic with the other characters especially police detective Jeff Katsuro. Even though this is the fourth book in the Leafy Hollow Mystery series, it is the first I have read and had no problem reading it as a standalone. I like it so much, I want to read all of the books in this series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
This is a great mystery series
This is a great mystery series, and this book answered a lot of questions I have had from the beginning. As always, the characters are so much fun in this book. There is a lot of humor mixed in with the suspense, so I found myself laughing a lot. The romance is done beautifully so that it doesn't overpower the mystery elements. I can't wait to see where the series goes from here. I received an ARC of this book and I'm voluntarily leaving my honest review.
5 star addition to a most enjoyable series
“Muddy Waters” is a continuation of Verity Hawkes’ Leafy Hollow adventures, but it can be easily enjoyed as a standalone. The plot is somewhat thicker than usual and provides some insight into the inner workings of the delightfully complex characters. This is a very well written and edited cozy mystery, with lots of suspense, intrigue and a bit of humor. The descriptions of a harried housewife trying to manage a household full of energetic children and a rogue pet dog are spot on and simply hilarious. Highly recommended! I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book.
Another Hit!
The stories in this series are a little bit kooky but they are so much fun!! The characters in this series are priceless! From Verity, the main character, to Emy, her sidekick, to the 4 ft. tall lawyer who wants to be Mayor. Everybody in town is fairly kooky and loads of fun! Definitely not a thriller like Clancy or even James Patterson but lots like Evanovich's Stephanie Plum. A complete riot! I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
They keep getting better
**I received this book for free in exchange for an honest opinion This is the 4th installment of this series and I love how each one gets more exciting. I've been reading them since the beginning and I'm always excited when a new one comes out. This book definitely keeps you on the edge with so many plot twists. Just when I thought I knew who it was-- BAM!-- she hit you with a surprise and leaves you anxious to find out more. I highly recommend this series and other books from her.
Muddy Waters
Indeed. Verity has been running her missing aunts landscape business...and solving mysteries and murders. Now, she is singled out to deliver ransom money. Alone. In the middle of a bridge. In the rain. It goes south. Romance, twists and turns. Clean and entertaining, I personally loved it! I'm fortunate enough to be an ARC reader for Rickie, and I highly recommend this series to those of you who like mysteries and whodunnits! I can hardly wait for the next book!

romance , sleuthing and scifi
another hit for author Rickie Blair. Love this series, a little romance, a little sleuthing, some sci fi ; ) This book answers some questions posed in the previous ones but it is an excellent stand alone Was given a free ARC by the author. My review is freely and honestly given
Rollercoaster of a Ride
This is the fourth book in this cozy mystery series full of criminal activity, spies and humor. Verity continues to search for her missing Aunt with some interesting twists. Conspiracies, kidnapping, old boyfriend and new boyfriend make this story a rollercoaster of a ride. I received a copy from the author and am voluntarily reviewing this book.
Borrowed from library:
Ok you can't just leave me hanging.... I want to know what happens next with Verity, her aunt, and friends. Can I visit Rose Cottage? I feel like I should vacation there!
Rickie always gives you a great story
One of my favorite series! Rickie always gives you a fun, colorful story filled real characters you can relate to, a well woven story with ups and downs and twists and turns thru out. Looking forward to the next adventure. I received an ARC for my honest review.
I have enjoyed all the books in this series
I received an Advance Reader Copy, in exchange for an honest review. I have enjoyed all the books in this series, but this was the best. The characters never get old, and there's always a new twist in the story. The mystery becomes a little clearer and a major situation is finally solved. Fun read!
Fun and entertaining cozy mystery
Fun and entertaining cozy mystery! Great characters that continue to develop throughout the series. You can read them as stand alone as well but much better if read consecutively. Lots of ups and downs, twists and turns. Will she help save the day? Enjoy
Good Read
I have read all of the Leafy Hollow Mysteries. This one is just as good as the proceeding ones. It does help to read the others first, but they are all stand-alone stories. Some unexpected twists and turns. Held my interest right to the end.
Leafy Hollow great cozy town!
Talented Rickie Blair has done it again. Another Leafy Hollow hit. Finally we will get to know Verity's Aunt and watch her romance blossom with Jeff. Mystery is a natural thing for Verify and I like following her to solve it.
I loved this book
I received an Advanced review copy. I loved this book. The storyline and the characters were wll thoughtout and well developed. Thus was a captivating story could not put it down once I started it. I look forward to another Leafy Hollow mystery.
Another visit to Leafy Hollow is like coming home to old friends.
Verity is learning to enjoy her new life, new job and new friends. If only people would stop getting kidnapped and killed around her.... And if only she could solve the mystery of her aunt's disappearance.
Great read.
The quirky residents of Leafy Hollow have another mystery on their hands, and Verity comes through for them again. Another enjoyable book in the series. I received an ARC of this book, and voluntarily wrote this review.
Excellent Book
This is the 4th book in the series. I really enjoyed it. The book has a great plot and excellent character development. I highly recommend this book. I received this book for free in return for a honest review.
The Truth Is Out There.
I enjoyed reading more about Verity and her missing aunt. Verity means truth and she always tries to root out the truth in any mystery. There was lots of twists in this story, which is what made it so engrossing.
