UP TO DATE!!
This map includes the areas which were impacted by the 2018 volcanic irruptions and earthquakes. While no map can be up to the minute, and conditions in the Puna area will continue to change, this map was more accurate than a lot of on-line maps! Great map.
Maps work better than no signal.
Work better than GPS or your phone. Satellite and mobile phone service is spotty in some of the more remote locations on the big island. This map makes that fact unimportant. We used the map daily. The detail and the ease of use helped us to find where we were going and to know where we were when our electronics did not.
Very helpful. Good use of less than $10.
I know everything map-related can be found on smart phones, but I found this very helpful nonetheless. Something about spreading out a map that helps really understand the lay of the land. Between this map and the WAZE iPhone app, there was nothing on the island we didn’t feel we could find.
It's a good map
I'm fussy about maps. The Department of Defense taught me about maps and what makes them good. This one has detail and accuracy and a very good legend. That's what makes a good map. It's not cheap. The cheap ones won't tell you much of anything so go for the best, like this one.

This map provides more information than the maps in the tour books but it is not a complete roadmap which is what I was looking for.

Out of date map. Check print dates.
Came with a big rip in it. The package was fine so it was riped BEFORE IT WENT IN. Plus it's 10 years out of date! Do not buy this map.
