Magical Mermaids and Dolphin Oracle Cards: A 44-Card Deck and Guidebook

I bought this deck for my daughter (14), thinking it would be a good starter deck for her. She quickly lost interest, as the artwork is okay on most of the cards and a little repetitive on others. She also did not connect with these, as they are a large deck and not made for those of us with smaller hands. Back to the connection issue, I do not know if it is because of what we now know to be Doreen renouncing her products, or if she was only putting in a little effort, in order to make money. The booklet that comes with this is missing a few pages, and some of the meanings are not clear. Overall, this is a cute deck for those who like mermaids and dolphins, but for those in the metaphysical community, we have both found it hard to connect with and even harder to use.

I own several Doreen Virtue decks, which are all wonderful, but I have to say the Magical Mermaids and Dolphins are my favorite. The artwork is delightful; messages are clear ~ a real pleasure to give readings with. I often give this deck as a gift, which was the case with this order.

The artwork is gorgeous,I also appreciate that all the artist's information are included in the booklet. I connected with this deck right away. I love mermaids and dolphins, love the sea in general! so looking at this deck brings my heart joy. I must say I am also happy that there are mermaids of different ethnicity/ hair color. I am excited to buy more of Doreen Virtues amazing work :)

I hesitated for quite some time before I finally folded and bought this deck. I was aware of the great reviews, but I didn't get the reasoning behind Mermaids and Dolphins. I have no connection between either. I'm glad I bought this deck because it's been one of my favorite most used decks. It has so many uses and is one of the most creative and accurate decks I've ever worked with. It deals with manifestation work and career. It also addresses underlying internal issues relating to emotions and feelings. It really gets to the heart of the matter. The Mermaids and Dolphins are associated with introspection, the sea, the ocean, water, so it's no surprise that it's actually Mermaids and Dolphins per se, but it's a metaphor for the part of us we neglect in the physical world. You get results when you go to the source of the issue inside. Love this deck. The images resonate with me. The book it comes with offers beautiful descriptives for you to start off with as you get to know these cards. Then you can apply it to the situation you're reading about effortlessly. Don't know why I initially hesitated, but glad I have them now. Absolutely accurate reads for myself and others every time I use this.

If you know Doreen Virtue's spiritual writings, teachings, videos, and oracle cards, you'll love the Magical Mermaids and Dolphin Cards. The artwork isn't quite as colorful or intense as others of her decks that I have, but the messages are powerful and are placed directly on the cards themselves, which is nice. You can always count on quality writings from Doreen.

I love this deck! My expectations were exceeded! These cards are so beautiful! I just love the artwork! Both the messages and pictures are so inspiring and uplifting! This deck really resonates with me! The guidebook is very helpful and a nice compliment to the deck! Once I cleared and consecrated the cards I immediately felt a connection with these! I am receiving very accurate readings! I just love everything by Doreen Virtue! I am looking very forward to the Butterfly Oracle Cards that are being released in May as I already have my pre-order in and are counting the days!

I love this deck - it always seems like it gives me the messages I need. I also use this deck in personal readings for clients and it gives the readings a new dimension. The guidebook is beautifully written and includes simple, truthful and beautiful messages. I recommend this deck with flying colors!

Nice box and book. I like the card messages and artwork except one card came chipped at the edge which really bothered me but overall i'm happy with my purchase. Update: I really love this deck and the messages. It has been so accurate for many people that I pull cards for so far.

A live coach and these cards changed my life so I wanted to treat myself with these new ones and I did a reading tonight and it was spot on. Best cards you will love them.

I like these cards and pull them out occasionally to do a reading.. but I find that sometimes the cards that I pull have nothing to do with my question. I'm not sure if maybe I'm trying to interpret them too literally and need to broaden their meaning... or if the cards simply don't want to be answering my question for some reason? Sometimes the cards are right on in terms of the subject matter, but the outcome ends up being different. So I have mixed feelings about these cards... the artwork is beautiful and I love reading what each card has to say but somehow I'm not getting the insight or guidance that I need from them. So I play with them now and then but take what comes up with a grain of salt. I wish they were more on the money...

I love this card deck! It's the most positive and uplifting deck I've ever seen, and I do have a number of others (and have seen many more in the store). Whenever I pull out cards (usually several), they always really speak to me and give me faith and courage. And we know how important positive expectations and high vibrations are for attracting good things to us, and the mermaids and dolphins cards help enormously with that. Examples of cards: Have Faith: Your prayers are manifesting. Remain positive and follow your guidance! Waves of Prosperity: New Abundance and exciting opportunities wash over you now. Explore Your Options: It's time to look at other possibilities. It's a good time to make changes. And the booklet has more extensive explanations and instructions of course, including a few affirmations. And more... Beautiful pictures too! I even bought an extra set so I can put up some of the cards around my apartment for extra reminders or carry some with me without having to break up my "oracle" set ;-)

Beautiful cards. Very sweet and serene messages. Mostly general messages, but there is a gentler feel to them. These would be good for question clarifying or daily cards. Later than expected but for me they were worth the wait.

If you love Mermaids then just get this deck! I felt drawn to it upon just finding it on here, so use what ur drawn to ,but it's fun, different and the art work is beautiful. I love this deck and use it daily for myself!

I'm a fan of Doreen's fairy deck, being a hug fan of mermaids and a recent collector or tarot and oracle decks, I thought I'd treat myself to this deck after eyeing if for sometime. I find it to give very spot on and accurate readings. However, I'm not a huge fan of the artwork. The backing is too busy for my taste. I think some of the cards look dated and too cartoonish. If I were to choose again, if I was specifically looking for a mermaid oracle deck I would probably go with something else.

This deck is extremely powerful and positive, just like many other decks from Doreen Virtue. It speaks to your subconscious mind. It brings the unconscious to the conscious level. It will give you great insight regarding your situation. It is great for a daily guidance one card reading as well as other spreads for specific situations that you need guidance for. I love this deck!

Beautiful and easy to read Oracle Cards. I bought 1 set for myself and one for a friend for her birthday because of our love of mermaids and dolphins. I would definitely recommend these to anyone that loves these animals and an easy deck to start with.

Doreen Virtue is fantastic and this deck is kind and gentle but also to the point. I love playing with these cards and find they work well with Doreen Virtue's Angel Answers. I'm still a novice in tarot and oracle cards but found these opened up and connected with me naturally and easily.

These are cute, fun cards. The saint and angel cards are better. I do not believe this is for serious use. I use my Tarot and sometime Saint and Angel Oracle cards for a card of the day draw. I would not do that with these cards. They are thought provoking and sweet. Very positive.

I really like these Tarot cards. They help you keep an open mind about things that they relate to. I like to scatter the pile and pick one out every morning, to help guide my day, if anything in my life can relate to that one picked card. Some fit so well I'll keep it for a few days or longer, some dont connect with me at all and I just wait until tomorrow to try again. I've always connected with mermaids, dont know why. So these tarot cards help to balance what I see as a sign to pay more attention to compared to other things attending in my life.

I just received my cards this morning. Way earlier than the shipment stated they would come in the mail. They are absolutely breathtaking. I looked and each and every card and I just an enamoured at the lovely display of detail and care put into creating these cards. Doreen Virtue is fantastic and I love her books and oracle cards. I highly suggest if you are into mermaids, dolphins and not looking for a traditional type of tarot deck; then these cards are perfect. They give good readings and you get exactly what you need to hear when you need to hear it! Highly advise these cards to join your oracle collection!!!!!!!!! The cards are nicely drawn and colorful. They will work well for giving clarification to a reading, or a quick one card energy reading. They are not Tarot cards. However, I am not happy with the order as I ordered and paid for new cards. The cards were opened, and used. They are all there but, I am disappointed they are used. I would have bought used if that is what I wanted.

My favorite Oracle Card's so far. The messages on theses card's are very powerful. Love that they aren't huge cards. Super easy to shuffle and carry in a purse. The LWB that comes with this deck is good. It's a must get for any Oracle deck lover.

I just got this deck, and I like it very much. Very simple, pretty pictures - it really is an adorable deck for someone just starting with readings, or a seasoned reader who likes to draw a single card for guidance and not do a full spread for themselves. Great for water signs or someone trying to work more with water magick. Looking forward to spending more time with this deck!

Another set I own, as with all of them, the pictures are nice and the messages relate well. I try to pull cards daily, and keep the mrssage in mind because it helps me to remember what I really should focus on.

It is 44 cards in a stack. Not every card is the same. I felt really drawn to these cards. I have been reading for quite some time and these are the best cards filled with information and just beautiful pictures. I purchased these for my sister, and she was overwhelmed by how accurate the messages have been for her. Doreen Virtue has a gift. Her oracle cards are outstanding, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Just look for a deck with pictures that speak to you, and you can't go wrong.

Total was of money. The images are not nearly as nice in person. I would return it, but the donate money to Oceania so I will keep it.

I do a lot of healing work and intuitive readings. Doreen Virtue's Mermaid and Dolphin cards have a certain tenor that is quite extraordinary. I love her other cards as well, but these readings are not only incisive, but practical and amazingly spot on. Yeah Doreen! and Yeah Mermaids and Angels. Good Lord, we all need whatever help we can acquire and these cards help folks to focus on the situation and hand and its graceful resolution.

These cards are beautiful and I am in love with the mermaid theme. They were also a great price and definitely worth the money. This may be because I just got them, but they don't seem to have the phenomenal energy that my Steve Farmer deck has. In addition, they are more useful for specific questions rather than broad stories, which can be useful, but my preference lies with cards that allow more wiggle room.

All my friends want these cards. They are gentle, serene and perfect for those individuals who are maybe too sensitive for the tarot. These cards are gentle, loving, warm and kind. Thank you for something that all people can handle.

This is my first deck of Oracle Cards. I shuffled them, drew a card, and was amazed that it so perfectly fit my life situation at this time. Excellent quality, perfect size and beautiful. I also bought the Fairies Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue and did the same thing with them. Not only did the card also fit my life situation but it perfectly complimented the Magical Mermaids card. I highly recommend both decks.

The cards are easy for anyone to use, whether you are a beginner or an experienced oracle card reader. Each of the cards have beautiful artwork shown on them, as well as a title at the top and a phrase at the bottom. All of this allows the reader to use his or her own intuition to determine what the oracle cards are trying to say. Then you can look in the guidebook to get a more deeper meaning of each card. The guidebook also shows you how to use the cards in different ways depending on your needs and questions. I have several oracle decks by Doreen Virtue and enjoy every one. They are very accuate and revealing when used.They can also be combined with one another to expand the reading.

I like this deck much better than others by Doreen Virtue. The border colors are nice and go with the card contents. The images are decent and while this won't be a go to deck, it's a nice addition to my collection and at s lower price. As a side note, they come in a nice sturdy box.

These are cards are beautiful and I felt drawn to them. They do have the meaning written on the cards but I felt intuitively drawn to the cards. I am able to pick up more than what the cards say and have had successful readings. Everyone is different to how they intuitively pick up on cards, this deck worked for me. I would recommend this deck as it works very well for me.

I have just about all of Doreen Virtue's decks. I decided to take a chance on an older deck and I'm glad I did! This is such a sweet deck and apparently a very accurate one based on the reading I gave myself. I would recommend this deck to anyone.

Not helpful

This is the second deck of angel cards, that I purchased from Doreen Virtue. I really love these cards. When reading these cards, I get a sense of peace and tranquility. The colors are so vivid and pretty. I mixed these cards with the "Message from Your Angels" cards and combined together, they make very interesting readings. My next set of cards that I will buy from Doreen will be the fairies deck. I hope that everyone who purchase these cards will enjoy them as much as I have.

I really do love the deck, I resonate with the message as they are a great "bridge" clarifier with the messages being short and sweet and to the point. I would have given a 5 star review had the finish on the cards not had such a sticky feel.

I believe cards say whatever We want them to say. It's a good training for those who have no intuition and are sometimes alone and don't know what to do. So, if you are having a bad day, pick a card or two, see what it says, try to accept and try to see what it means. You'll see there's an enormous possibility that the card will help you making a decision.

i first got her flower therapy oracle and was really into it.so i got this.i also like this.the dolphins.manatee and seal are cute.theyre beautiful cards.they also make great gifts.i ordered four of the flower therapy for gifts.i only ordered one of these cause that all i could afford at the time.but i really like this.got it yesterday.

I love the imagery on the cards, and the readings seem to fit the person they are for. But these cards have a very different feel to them. And I don't know if it's because the sides are not gilded like most of my other decks but the sides of these cards are rough. The deck is very tight in shuffling which makes an already hard thing harder. The size of these cards are standard so having them tight (meaning they don't want to pull apart or move). I have had these cards a few weeks and I have worked on shuffling them over and over. I don't know if in the manufacturing of these cards who handled mine but they must have been in a horrible mood because these cards held that energy being time. Such beautiful cards shouldn't hold such nasty energy or be so hard to shuffle. the card stock is a nice weight when you hold just one card you can tell it's Doreen's standard card stock and a nice weight. and the printing is down well and is nice and clear. The images are prefect and the messages clear. over all it's a good deck but I am just having a few issues with them I am sure in time a night under some crystals and maybe a night with the full moon and they will feel better energy wise. As for the sides I will learn to deal with them.

Great deck for beginners and great ford ain't one card reading. It offers words of encouragement and the mermaid vibes are very cooling and kind. I can't explain it, but there is something whimsical about this deck. A beginner would truly appreciate this if he or she loves mermaids.

Pretty art work, cards are easy to handle, fun to work with. However, I find I personally get much more detailed results from other decks, so have not used it much. Best use so far was as reference to paint mermaids or for quickie readings.

I am new to tarot reading. I was very hesitant and fearful at first. I was drawn to these cards because I really have a fascination with mermaids. Since I was a little girl, i've always had a special place in my heart for mermaids!!! The readings are beyond accurate. I did 10 readings, circling the same question worded differently, and i got the same exact answer. I pulled out the same card OVER and OVER again! It was surreal how consistent these cards are. I feel very drawn to them, and treat them with respect. I notice I do a better reading if i listen to music and ease my mind then when im upset or frustrated and need a quick guidance. These cards are beautiful, the artwork in them is so stunning and magical. It makes me feel like I did when I first heard about mermaids for the first time as a little girl. I hope to use them more. What a beautiful deck.

I have wanted these cards for years...and I recently bought them and I'm very glad. I also own the Goddess cards which are the best! These are different... with positive and helpful messages - they are more fun and it is nice to pull a card every day. I would recommend them to anyone who feels a connection to the ocean.

Really sweet cards. I like the straight forward messages, so far they have been right on. Only reason for 4 out of 5 stars, is that a few images could be a tad less tacky. Don't love all the artwork.

The art work is beautiful, the package it came in was beautiful, every reading I have done with this deck for my clients has been spot on and people have been amazed. I feel a deep connection with this deck and it's healing properties.

Some of the cards can be a bit judgy. They start off by saying something magical is happening, but further into the description suggests to you that your negative thoughts are likely to ruin it all. I love cards like this, but know that bringing up the negativity is most likely to cause it!

I am a huge fan of Doreen Virtue, I collect her decks and find them to be of great quality. Unfortunately I can't say the same about this deck. The quality was not the same as her other decks. The cards are very flimsy and bend very easily. I found them to feel a bit "cheap". The images although some are pretty feel a bit disconnected.

Lovely set of cards! The cards are big, glossy and illustrations are sweet. It's a nice deck for beginners who might get afraid to star tarot head on and find the "less-than-nice" cards. The oracle really helps, most messages are quite upbeat and they make a nice gift for those who want to start using oracles.

GREAT fun! Kind and inspiring messages, The little booklet is quite good and I suggest you always read the page with the card because it's quite enlightening, but i wish there were more dolphins!

Really love these cards! I've done a few readings so far and they are so accurate and I feel so connected to them. The artwork is beautiful and mesmerizing, and although as one commenter mentioned it is not all the same type of art, I feel like it perfectly and effectively communicates the feel and energy of each card and situation. If you are a lover of the water and connected with the ocean realms this is the perfect deck for you. All the cards are concise and clear and it is very hard to not get a precision-pointed reading. I think the dolphins are my favorite part as they have this happy, springy energy. I really recommend this and will be looking into getting more of her decks when the time feels right. Thanks.
