Lola Dutch I Love You So Much (Lola Dutch Series)

We love Lola Dutch! We have loved everything Sarah Jane Wright has produced for years, but Lola has a special place in our hearts because she reminds us so much of our niece--same spunky personality. What I especially like about this latest book is that it shows how Lola isn't just creative and active in her own pursuits, she is that way with how she loves those around her, too (also, just like our niece!) Everyone has at least one Lola in their life, so it makes it all the more enjoyable to see her come alive on the page--and then you can take it one step further and play with her and her friends as paper dolls (included in all the books!) Such a thoughtful extra touch. I am including this photo of when I found my daughter happily "reading" to herself--she chose Lola! That should be all the review you really need.

This is such a sweet addition to the wonderful Lola Dutch collection, though one does not need to have read the others for this book to be wonderful. Lola helps each of her friends feel loved in the way that is most meaningful to them. In return, they show her love back. All my kids immediately loved this book and my 4yo has claimed it as her favorite. This is a beautiful book to celebrate love all year round but would be especially perfect for Valentine's Day.

Lola Dutch is so sweet and whimsical. The pictures are precious too. We fell in love with “Lola Dutch” when she was just a little nameless girl dancing with her animal friends. I was pregnant and bought the print hoping my daughter would love dancing and animals just as much. 5 years later, she is thay sweet girl with a wild imagination just like Lola Dutch. Now that Lola Dutch has written stories, my 8 year old son and 5 year old daughter enjoy reading about Lola Dutch’s creativity, kindness and tender heart. I especially love how (simply) the authors tied in the 5 Love Languages. It’s a fun story and great conversation piece.

As a grandmother, I’m always looking for beautiful books with inspiring messages to share with my grandchildren. I have purchased all three Lola Dutch books because they fit that description so well. My grandkids (ages 3 and 5) love these books and the darling cutouts too. I love the concepts taught by the Five Love Languages series, and this third book is a lovely illustration of each of those different languages that young children can understand. Anything that helps a child (or anyone) show love in a more meaningful and personal way is a good thing, right? Kudos to Sarah and Kenneth for another beautifully written and illustrated book!

Lola Dutch is as charming as ever in “Lola Dutch, I Love You So Much”. The illustrations are beautiful and the story line sweet. I love how Lola Dutch books inspire creativity and kindness. I ordered this book as soon as I saw it was available for pre-order and it was a fun New Years Eve surprise for my 5 yr old Lola Dutch fan. We also love the paper doll book covers.

This book is so sweet and the illustrations are gorgeous! We love Sarah Jane’s illustrations and have several of her prints in our daughter’s bedroom along with many of her fabrics. This book was icing on the cake! We can’t wait to read it to her over and over again! Thank you so much!

This might be my favorite yet!! It can be hard for kids to think of ways to love others beyond a hug or saying the words, I love you. This book opens up conversations about how we feel and show love and that often it takes work. Darling illustrations and the endpaper puppets and backdrop make this book an absolute must in our home library!

I think this is my favorite of all the Lola Dutch books so far! My daughter read it aloud to me in the car and something about that role reversal made me think of all the ways I can show love to my children as their mother. We just love these books, and the illustrations are darling.

We loved the first two Lola Dutch books, I ordered this one the day it was released. It is absolutely beautiful! Though it is intended for a little bit older audience, my two-year-old loves her Lola Dutch books—very captivating and engaging in words and illustrations!

Delightful and heartwarming! Lola Dutch is an example of one who loves others and knows just how to bring them happiness. An important message for children and adults alike on looking outside of yourself and finding ways to bring joy to others!

My daughter loves this series

This is such a sweet story of showing your love to others. Its release is perfectly timed to be used for Valentine’s Day, but it’s also a wonderful story for any time of year. I love how Lola has to really think about what each of her friends needs to feel loved and that it is not the same for each of them. As always, I found Sarah Jane Wright’s illustrations so sweet and darling. And just like the first two books in the series the book cover can be removed to be used as a play scene along with the cut out paper dolls.

Lola Dutch loves showing her friends how much she cares. When her friends are grumpy, Lola Dutch knows just what they need, and she quickly jumps into action. Making the most of every situation, Lola Dutch is here to make every reader’s day a delight. Complete with paper dolls and a fold-out scene, the Lola Dutch books give readers bounds of fun and excitement, while also being able to continue their own Lola Dutch adventures. Where will she take you?

This book is an absolute delight. The illustrations are gorgeous and whimsical and the message is heartfelt and sweet, for anyone of any age. Both children and adults I've shown this book to fall in love with it instantly. 10/10 would recommend adding this to your collection and making it a nighttime routine tradition.

Lola’s energetic creativity fills the pages. Beautiful illustrations of this sweet story of kindness show Lola thoughtfully considering what her friends Gator, Crane, Pig, and Bear need. It’s a great lesson on love for children, parents, grandparents and anyone who wants to know how to show they care. A great book sure to be a classic.
