Very good book. I learned a few baking tricks from this book.

This is a HIGHLY advanced cook book and you really need to be a highly trained profesional baker for these recipes. Even the easy recipes are quite complicated. The ingredients are quite strange and not likely something you can find at your local groccery store. For example, some of the items are sweetened black sesame paste, and beet powder. Some recipes require a cupcake steamer, whatever the heck that is. There is even a cake recipe that when you cut open the cake there is a pusheen inside. I think these recipes are the ones from the Pusheen Pop Up Cafe in Singapore. If you are highly trained or just want to look at this book then I would recommend it, but if the reason you are buying this book is neither of those than I wouldn't recommend. It is not that I don't like Pusheen, I am a huge Pusheen fan. But I think that the description needs to be more clear that this is not meant for your average baker!

When we first heard Pusheen will be releasing a new cookbook, we preordered this right away! Recipes are easy to follow with clear photos and there are templates included. There are recipes for all skill levels. We made the Pusheen Shaker Cookies in the photo and we must say that the recipes will require some time to make (even the easy recipes). This is mostly due to presentation and making the Pusheen character perfect! When attempting to make a recipe, we highly recommend allotting some time to make it. If you really love Pusheen, you will love this. It is adorable, colorful, and the instructions are detailed. That said, I returned it. I am an avid home baker, but by no means an expert. Several of these recipes are fairly complicated and require specialty ingredients. For example, several recipes call for cold gelatin sheets. I'm sure substitutions could be made but none are given in the book. If you adore Pusheen and are interested in 40 different ways to recreate her, and aren't intimidated by the ingredients and techniques, you will LOVE this book. I think I'd mostly end up making the cookies and donuts and that wasn't worth it for me.

If you're like me, you read the reviews. I ended up ordering this just to see what's advance about this cookbook in particular since it should be a basic cute-thing baking book. Well, there are recipes like your standard "shaker/snowglobe" cookies that appear on Pinterest around the holidays and I am leaning to try that butter cookie recipe... But a lot of the recipes are very much in line with Asian baking such as a recipe for raindrop cake and a cupcake recipe that uses to steam. While this will be daunting for most US bakers, this does inspire me to try out these new recipes and techniques. Also a possible visit to your local Asian market for some of the items. Overall, this book was a surprise since I wasn't expecting a lot of the recipes to be of the kind you'll get in dessert cafes in Asia and the coastal areas. So if you're the type that always wanted to try to bake or taste one of those Social Media worthy desserts or just want to get out of your baking comfort zone after you tackled some European baking after watching the Great British Bake Off, you might want to pick this book up. The only downside is that the pastel pusheen cheesecake cup recipe uses gelatin so it's a no-bake cheesecake which makes me a sad baked cheesecake fan. :(

This is such a cute cookbook! It is an awesome gift for any Pusheen fan. The recipes are easy to follow and include pictures, there are also templates in the back to help, highly recommend this product.

I am an avid baker and love so many things about this book. The photography is gorgeous, the recipes are clear with lots of photos, and the techniques used range from beginner to intermediate. I like that it has recipes I’m comfortable with and some that challenge me. I’m also gluten free and all the recipes can be easily converted- some of them even use naturally gluten free flours (sweet rice flour, for example) which makes me so happy! Some of the ingredients may be unfamiliar, but they are worth the try. If you aren’t sure about the flavors, I would recommend walking the Asian section of your grocery store to find something with the same flavor- sample some sesame seed cookies before you buy the paste, just in case you don’t like it. Try a matcha latte at Starbucks before you get the tea powder- it can be expensive! This book is a great introduction to basic patisserie techniques and unique Asian flavors, as well as adorable versions of familiar bakes.

This super adorable book has SO many recipes! They’re very helpful also, with step by step photos of how to do certain things. There’s easy recipes like simple pusheen butter cookies and more advanced ones like fondant pusheen cake. I will be making pusheen treats for every occasion now!! They have some Japanese recipes and western ones as well.

This book is ADORABLE! I'm sure a lot of the recipes will have a learning curve because they range from easy up to difficult for the more complicated ones, but theres something for everyone! Everything is so cute and I cant wait to make them. Theres even templates in the back to help shape your pusheen treats! I know I'll for sure be making the pumpkin pie for the holidays, and want to work my way up to the chiffon cake. 10/10 would reccomend!

I bought this as a housewarming gift for a friend. Though I haven't made anything from the book, I read through all the recipes. Every recipe is styled to look like Pusheen. There is a variety of foods, but mostly desserts. The recipes are described in thorough detail and there are lots of pictures demonstrating various steps of the recipe. Recipes vary in difficulty -- there are quite a few difficult recipes but there are also easier ones to balance it out. All of the recipes are cute. Even if you were to never bake anything from this book, it is cute enough to be worth a spot on your bookshelf as a collector item.

Very cute book, lovely pictures, but the recipes are extremely complicated - for professional bakers only. My son was disappointed - Pusheen is for mainly kids - this should be geared to family friendly food - most of these require specialty ingredients.

I love it I love it I love it I love all of it they are soooooo cute and adorable i almost cried I love it so much I can't wait to get more pusheen products.

This is a lovely book with some amazing ideas. My daughter is a pusheen fan and bought it hoping we could make them together. Unfortunately, most of the recipes and decorating techniques are too faffy and tricky for the average amateur baker. We did make the macarons which were delicious but looked nothing like the desired result. Great for an expert with lots of equipment but too advanced for us!

If you are a Pusheen lover this is the book for you! It contains loads of different recipes for cookies, cakes, desserts and pastries. More than enough to hold a Pusheen themed party with. The recipes may be time consuming so I would suggest practicing before making any of these for parties. Even if you don’t make them the pictures make the book such a joy to go through. My only suggestion is that there are some pans that you require for it, would be great if we can get a reference of size or maybe where we can potentially source it from as someone living in a different country to the authors.

This book is pretty funny. Every recipe ends up looking like Pusheen which I didn’t realize but definitely made us laugh and love it more!

Je m'attendais à quelques recettes, ce livre DÉBORDE de recettes avec beaucoup d'explications et de photos pour bienn les réaliser! Ça prend quelques fois réussir à donner la bonne forme par contre! Bon appétit!

If you love Pusheen, and you've seen those Youtube videos of vloggers eating at Pusheen Cafes, this book is for you. I love this book, nice glossy pages, yummy recipes, and great photos. What's not to like?

This book is filled with a lot of super cute pusheen themed recipes. There are templates in the back of the book and the instructions are well written. I can’t wait to try my hand at these recipes!

I love Pusheen and I've recently started baking. Sure some of the recipes are more advanced, but they've been fun to try and so cute.

I haven't tried qny of the recipes, but they are all so cute. Even if you don't cook, I recommend this book for the pusheen fans!

This book is soooo cute. No need for cookie cutters etc as it comes with template in the back of the book!!

All the recipes are super cute and have detailed instructions. Many of the steps come with pictures. They're all on the slightly more difficult side. It has a lot more recipes than I thought it would.

Pretty pictures, but as other reviewers note, recipes are not kid- (or adult-) friendly - complicated, unusual ingredients, and too time-consuming. Daughter loves Pusheen so enjoys flipping through pics.

Super cute and wonderful recipes. Some recipes are a little more complicated than others, but it does rate the difficulty level. I would highly recommend this book. It is definitely worth the price.

Awesome book,but the adorable cover art was all scuffed up and damaged around the edges because it was not transported in a protective bag. Can kind of rub the smudges off but they are definitely still visible.

Cat lovers and Pusheen lovers, which is almost everyone, will love Let's Bake!: A Pusheen Cookbook, by Claire Belton and Susanne Ng. This is a delightful cookbook, with every recipe ending up looking like Pusheen. Although the main recipes are easy to follow, the detail in making the Pusheens is a lot of work and takes a lot of patience. Most are recipes to be saved for a rainy day project. The recipes are reminiscent of something you would find in Japan, and the attention to detail definitely has a Japanese slant. The book includes step-by-step photographs to help bakers make picture-perfect baked goods. There are mostly sweet treats in the book, including desserts, cookies, cakes, pastries, and tarts, but there are a few savory dishes like Pusheen pizza and Pusheen pancakes. The recipes make small amounts, and it seems that only making a few when it’s quite time consuming to make them that making more wouldn’t take much more time, The book includes templates with different sizes and shapes of Pusheen, so bakers can get their creations exactly right. While the whole point in baking these adorable creations is to make them look like Pusheen, the recipes are good and easy to follow and will make mouthwatering treats whether or not they are decorated like the photos in the cookbook. Many of the recipes are unique and not ones found in most cookbooks. Let’s Bake!: A Pusheen Cookbook is one for Pusheen aficionados who don’t have any problem spending time to make some of the cutest treats on the planet. I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This is a beautiful cookbook! But the recipes look more complicated than expected. I think with some time I could pull off some of these recipes, but even the 'easy' section is a bit complex. That being said the results are beautiful! There are great pictures throughout the book of the finished product from pudding to pastries and pictures showing each step. There's a variety of recipes and cute edible pusheens to look at!

I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I have been a Pusheen fan for a long time. I love that crazy and sweet cat. This book is to mark the 10th Anniversary. It is broken up into a five sections. I love baking and I have read through the recipes. I would to be able to make them like in the pictures. They are little pieces of art. I have not tried all of them yet but I want too. I enjoyed the Pusheen Butter Cookies which is the first recipe in the book. My aunt loves butter cookies so I had to try this recipe.
