A critically-acclaimed yuri manga series!
Yamada may be shy and rather clumsy, but the flower gardens at her school have always brought her happiness. Suddenly, a different sort of beauty catches her eye―the vivacious track star Kase-san. Although the two girls don’t seem to have much in common, they soon start a romance where each must learn an important lesson in tending their budding relationship. Can the two girls, so different from each other, learn how to make their first love blossom?

Future plans and dark clouds
As their third year progresses, Yamada and Kase try to make the most of their time - going to the pool, supporting Kase during training, and trying to take their relationship to a more intimate level. But decisions need to be made soon about their futures and where they are going to college, local - or in Kase's case - Tokyo. But those are not the only clouds in the future as Yamada meets for the first time Akane Inoue - Kase-sans track sempai and former girlfriend who goes to the university that Kase's endorsement is attached to. This one has everything you would want in a building relationship- humor, affection, uncertainty, and a bit of jealousy. While reading these two girls working on their relationship, I loved the scene with Yamada and Kase over Yamada's house. Her learning that there could be more intimate things, and her doing research later, was hilarious (swear the little plant that shows up on her head almost burst into flames a few times). But this series is still good and I cannot wait for the next volume.
Love!!
I accidentally ordered the third book instead of the first but since it says they can be read separately I read it and I adore this story. It is so cute and I do plan to get the other books!
Sweeties.
Another great short with Kase and Yamada. We get to see them grow together a little more. The drawing is endearing and pleasant. Kase with tanlines is an even more striking Amazon goddess. I love the romance of the ending, and I dearly hope they stay together. I want it to end with them as a loving couple. I knocked off a star for the "Ruining the Glorious Moment. " Yamada is naive and sweet, but the squeamishness went much too far. What should have been a wonderful first (even if implied) ended in stereotypical teasing for the reader, and just didn't feel natural for that point in their relationship.

Adorable series.
Cute
Stars: 3.5 Stars Format: Print Steam Level: Kinda Steamy Series: Incomplete I’m enjoying this series though this installment isn’t my favorite. Quick Thoughts: - Art is cute and it amuses me greatly that the artist puts a little plant/steam on Yamada’s head during reactions - Unlike the first two volumes, this doesn’t feel like a bunch of one-shots put together. Though it does mention in the beginning of each new chapter that the two are dating though they are both girls which gets annoying - This volume is a bit weird in that the two characters are getting closer and are looking to be more intimate but it is all kind of done strangely - The reason I put this as “Kinda Steamy” is that there is some making out with their button up shirt unbuttoned but bra on - The formatting in this volume is off kilter. Not sure if is the specific book I have or a problem with the whole run. - I like that we are following them through their last year of high school and their plans for college Overall I enjoyed this and will continue on with this series. It’s just too adorable.

This third volume continues to be adorable and cute as they start their last year of high school together. Yamada is naive but enthusiastic as she continues to grow her relationship with Kase-san, but there's also worries about college, and how long they can be together like this. I'm not sure if the series could support it without widening the cast somewhat, but I'd love to continue to read about them both in college and beyond, too.
