Great Devotional that is Very Positive and Uplifting!

For the past several months, I've been attending a mom's group at church and one day they were giving away the Jesus Calling devotional by Sarah Young. I hadn't heard of this author before and I was very interested in the devotionals. When I started searching Sarah Young on here, I came across the Jesus Always devotional as one of the top results since it is a new release. Having no experience with this author, I decided to take a chance and purchase it since I had heard great things about this author. Jesus Always: Embracing Joy in His Presence is a new devotional by missionary Sarah Young. The devotions included in this book and her other books are her personal thoughts and reflections. She writes in this introduction to Jesus Always that this book was a "marathon" for her since she worked on it for several years while living in Australia. After traveling for awhile and dealing with illness, Sarah Young strives to find joy in her everyday life so she wrote this particular devotional with that in mind. She writes these devotionals from the perspective of Jesus speaking to us as we read them. She also includes some Scriptures which are italicized and a few Bible references at the bottom so you can look those up if you'd like. Jesus Always is 384 pages long, with one-page devotions for every day of the year, including February 29th. The book measures 4 1/4 inches by 6 1/4 inches by 1 inch. It has a hard, yet puffy, purple cover and the pages are smooth and slightly glossy. Included with the book is an attached ribbon bookmark so you can keep your place. I love this devotional and find that no matter what my day is like, that particular day's devotion is so fitting and exactly what I need to hear. I might be having a great day or a difficult day and reading this seems to relax and refocus me. It also helps me to slow down and remind me of what's important. I do my best to read it daily but it doesn't always happen. I love that I can read the devotion for one particular day or just flip it open to whatever one I'd like. It's the perfect size to stick in your purse if you need something positive and uplifting to read when you are at work or out and about and it makes a great gift. I bought this for myself and purchased one for a good friend who loves it as well! I ended up purchasing Jesus Calling and Jesus Today, both by Sarah Young, because I love this book so much! Whether or not you are familiar with this author, this is a devotional I'd highly recommend if you are looking for one for yourself or a loved one!

Great Devotional but not as good as Jesus Calling...

This 365-day devotional is written in the usual Sarah Young-style in the voice of Jesus. Yes, some people may feel this is heretic but these devotionals use scripture to help the reader understand and feel God’s Word as if it’s coming directly from Him. As usual, Sarah Young doesn’t put loose words in and ascribe them to Jesus, everything is biblical and there are scriptures to back up every devotional. I used this devotional in 2017, having been excited to find that Sarah Young had done a new devotional in 2016. Prior to this, I’d done 2 back-to-back cycles of Jesus Calling (2015 and 2016) and before that I’d gone through Jesus Today a few of times. Although I really enjoyed this 365-day devotional and the additional month and a half of bonus content and found it to be a blessing, I didn’t feel it was as impactful to my heart as Jesus Calling was or as healing and encouraging to my soul as Jesus Today. There’s nothing wrong with this devotional, it’s just that unlike, Jesus Calling, I didn’t necessarily feel like it spoke to me personally everyday and after finishing it, I didn’t feel the “I want to do this again this year” that I felt with Jesus Calling. This is still a very good 365-day devotional and definitely worth giving a try.

Have discernment

I realized that we should be seeking the Lord in his word, the Bible, instead of trying to hear his voice through others. We are told to test the spirits to discern who is actually speaking. I know a lot of people who purchase these books (including myself and now regretting) are looking to hear from God maybe the easy way. But sometimes the easy way isn't the right way. Who knows where this woman got this word from. I want to be sure that any word I get is from the Lord and him alone from me building a relationship with him

THIS BOOK WILL USHER YOU STRAIGHT INTO THE PRESENCE OF JESUS!!!

This is absolutely the best devotional that I've ever read. I used it on a daily basis. I loved it so much that I bought books to give away at a conference where I presented in a women's workshop. My topic dealt with personal devotions. Every woman that I know who reads this devotional is as excited about it as I am. I spoke with a male friend who was going through some issues. I shared with him a part of the devotion that I read for that day. I noticed a few days later, that he was also sharing the book with friends. Sarah Young is definitely a gifted writer. Reading this book helps me to easily experiencel the presence of Jesus. There is nothing in the book that I didn't like.

Keeps the closeness with God going worded as if God is speaking directly to you.

I think I have purchased every single one of her books. I keep them where I can read a page several times a day to keep my focus on what is important. I underline the parts that speak to me the most. When I finish them, I begin again. My problem between church services from one service to the next, was trying to keep the closeness with God going. Just reading the Bible didn’t do it for me. I would get discouraged, because the feeling never lasted. The way this speaks to you directly from God makes all of the difference. What she says, though, is taken from scripture.

A WONDERFUL BLESSING! 😁😁😁

I have read many of this blessed ladies books & they ARE ALL FANTASTIC! BE SURE TO read the forward, as it is she tells a bit of the story of her life and her years of physical pain and suffering. She is such a beautiful tool in the hand of GOD, used to BLESS each us. You WILL BE RICHLY BLESSED & REJOICE as youread this Daily Devotional!

Fair Warning! Not what you think!

After purchasing this book for me & a family member, the author was googled & found to be very deceiving as a God-fearing woman. We discovered that she said she channeled the voice of Jesus. Which is nothing but a book to train clairvoyants, mediums & new-age practitioners. If you are of that ilk you only have our Savior Jesus Christ to answer to. But if you are a true believer we are urged to warn you & even encourage you to do your own research! For all - let your conscience be your guide! God bless you in your search! Amen

Truly a blessing.

A co-worker let me read the message written for that day and it blew me away. I was going through a time of confusion and sadness related to my health. I immediately bought a copy for myself. Each day has an uplifting, inspiring message and it's written in a way where it feels like the message is just for me. I try to read it every morning and highlight the areas that stand out. One thing that I really appreciate is that the author, Ms. Young, includes at the bottom of each page where in the Bible the message is coming from. Not to spoil one of the messages, but one that really helped me stated that we'll have more peace when we see and understand that ALL problems are temporary. I've been living by this fact and it has helped me to have a better outlook on life. I bought a copy for my mother and a friend at church and the love it. I think it's a must have for every Christian and anyone who wants to better understand God's plan for our lives.

So Personal & Uplifting!

This devotional book is amazing. I love how the author, Sarah Young, makes the readers feel as though Jesus is talking directly to them. They are strongly written devotionals that feel so personal. "Jesus Calling" is amazing, & this is just as perfect. I have already purchased it as a gift for two people who also have loved how it's written. With one devotional for each day of the year, it's the perfect read to help you get through the day or feel closer to him. Do yourself a favor and purchase this!

Jesus Calling has been my favorite devotional for years

Jesus Calling has been my favorite devotional for years, and this new book is just as good. I use both books, because each has meaningful insights, help and comfort. I highly recommend "Jesus Always" -- a perfect gift, too!

Jesus Calling has been my favorite devotional for years, and this new book is just as good. I use both books, because each has meaningful insights, help and comfort. I highly recommend "Jesus Always" -- a perfect gift, too!

Every morning

I have started my day with these books for several years. Whatever is happening in my life, whatever worries or joys are on my mind, there is something in each devotional to meet me where I am. These small readings are encouraging, and leave space as you are reading them for your own meditations to weave through them, your own prayers. In these quietly encouraging and gently prodding writings, I find a good beginning to every day, no matter what.

I prefer Jesus Calling

I didn’t find as much comfort reading this devotion as I did with Jesus Calling. As the subtitle suggest these passages are about finding joy in all situations. As well the reading reiterates Gods eternal love for you. The passages are a little longer then Jesus Calling, and at times I had a hard time connecting the verses. There are also more verses referenced each day then the average in Jesus Calling. If your are interested in taking notes there is little room on the page to do so. For some reason this devotion didn’t speak to me the way Jesus Calling did and it wasn’t as calming to my spirit. Though there is nothing wrong with this devotional it just didn’t designate as well with me. This is a nice devotional but I prefer Jesus Calling, Enjoying Peace in His Presence.

Jesus always..bonus content

I JUST BOUGHT THIS BOOK..DEC.18....READ DEC18 AND ALL THE BONUS THANKSGIVING READINGS..I FEEL.LOVED AND INSPIRED BY THESE...I LOVE JESUS CALLING TOO.I READ THAT A FEW YEARS AGO

Easily fits in a most purses.

The love of Jesus follows from each page of this small book as you read daily through your year. You most certainly will be put in Jesus arms for any extreme time you are facing. Enjoy!

entries tell lies instead of focusing on jesus's love

this book is terribly written. the content does not align with jesus's first law which is the principle of love. for example, the nov 26 entry says this is worship warfare, jesus teaches us to love . the nov 28th entry says the truth is that you were dead in your sins, completely unable to love me. well I can tell you that as an experienced sinner, I will always love jesus and my love is bonded with his light which actually makes me alive. there are many more entries like this that are offensive and far from the teachings of jesus.

Relatable Devotional

I am a big fan of Sarah Young. I am familiar with her book "Jesus Calling" so I ordered this one to read as well. Wonderful daily devotionals to keep you in tune with your faith. A great way to start the day, along with some recommended bible verses to read that go along with the daily reading. The text doesn't make it feel like homework and I find each day is relatable to whatever is going on in my life. I recommend this devotional!

Very enriching, fulling, with biblical references. Beautiful

Very good for the soul, every one should read it to make an informed opinion for themselves. But if you have an open mind it should work for you too. If it makes you feel better light a candle, rub some rocks, sit facing east or west, but just read it. What are you afraid of? Being Truthfully Happy..

Jesus Always is an Amazing Book

Jesus Always was given to me by a friend after I suffered a terrible tragedy. It has been such a comfort to me. This is why I purchased numerous copies to give to friends who are struggling with difficult situations of their own. This beautiful book contains 365 devotions, one for every day of the year. It has helped me grown closer to Jesus and understand how much God truly loves me.

Jesus today tomorrow and always.

My husband passed away July 13 2018 we were married almost 53 years. My grief was destroying me! My dear friend gave me this book to read, it is so comforting during my grieving time. It is very inspiring, and the messages are about today, situations we have to face, but just knowing the good lord is always with us there is nothing to fear. I bought 3 of these devotional books for my sisters as well to help them to deal with my wonderful husbands death. I highly recommend this book JESUS ALWAYS to all Christians.

AMAZING book!

LOVE this insightful book that almost daily speaks to me appropriate to an areas of my life. Seller Warning: I bought 2 and am not as impressed with one if the sellers - ordered both as not written in, but one of the books had some not-so-neat underlining. Was VERY disappointed since ordered for a gift. Watch the seller ratings.

Jesus saves :)

Arrived faster than promised! Small book so I can throw it in my purse and read it wherever, whenever. It was recommended by a friend and I absolutely LOVE IT. A must have.

Beautiful Devotional!

This beautiful devotional by Sarah Young is written in the first person, as though Jesus is speaking directly to me. I received it as a gift & found so much comfort, joy & peace in it that I gifted a copy to a friend who was struggling with loneliness. It is a daily reminder of how much I am loved by my Savior & that He is always with me. At the bottom of each page are Scripture references to combine with the daily reading. What a blessed way to begin each day!

Unique devotional book

I rarely take time to write a review but I just really love this little devotional book. I’ve never been a big devotional book user. I mainly just read my Bible. But this book has truly encouraged me in the Lord every day this year. I look forward to reading it and am especially amazed at how it seems to often have just the specific encouragement I need on a given day. Highly recommend this book!

Wonderful Book

This book is wonderful because it gets me into the Bible every day with no excuses. It’s perfect for people who procrastinate reading their bible because they are busy. There is one very short “letter” to you each day and 3-4 corresponding verses. I love reading this in the morning with my coffee to street my day the right way. I will buy more of these as gifts.

Uplifting

LOVE this book - a very nice gift also - it's the second one bought - one for myself and one as a gift. It is a beautiful small book, which I love, to have at the bedside to read every day. Very uplifting. I got one for an elderly lady who worries a lot and am hoping she'll find comfort in the words as the speak to our daily lives.

It's like having a conversation with God

Each day I read that days excerpt and it's like God is talking to me for the situation I am going through. I read the Jesus Calling book in the morning and during the day I pull out this book and I'm connected to my Father. It helps me take that moment and drink in the peace in the whirlwind of life. Amazing book.

Book is fine, just small sized

Be aware that this is a small book in terms of dimension. About 5X7. Fine as long as you are not expecting an average sized book as I was. Sounds funny, but then you go to use your standard book light or your comfortable curl up position and Pfffffft. lol

Are You Lost In This World?

Sarah Young has another great book on our Savior! Her books bring you closer to Christ and brings you his Hope, Joy, Comfort, Grace, Rest and Peace! If you are lost in this world or your faith has faded for any reason Sarah can help put your mind, heart and soul where it should be with Christ. Mike Fisher 11-10-17

Sarah young for the win

These Sarah Young devotionals have been a huge blessing in my life for many years - I have them scattered about and read several times a day during the work week. I have given to several friends who say they love them or that the books have helped them learn to talk to God. The books helped me a lot particularly bc they emphasize scripture and biblical truths (God loves you) without that chastising, condemnation tone I’ve associated with some other works.

Companion book to JESUS CALLING. By same author, Sarah Young.

Books by this author are all treasures that every Christian needs. I don’t think I would have made it this year without her books (my husband died 4-27-18.). The worst day of my life. They give me guidance every day of my life. I have even bought extra copies of Jesus Calling, for friends & relatives.

Jesus Calling has been my favorite devotional for years

Jesus Calling has been my favorite devotional for years, and this new book is just as good. I use both books, because each has meaningful insights, help and comfort. I highly recommend "Jesus Always" -- a perfect gift, too!

Great

I bought this version for several friends, based on their feedback I’m rating this devotional 5 stars. I have Jesus Calling and absolutely love it. I’ve never stuck with a devotional as I have with Jesus Calling. I feel like I really miss out if I skip a day or two.

Wonderful, personal devotional

The book was as amazing as all of Mrs. Young's books always are. Imagine Jesus writing a personal to you! Of course, He writes many notes to us---in His Word--the Bible. Got the book in quick time w/all that's happening in our world. Great condition.

Best daily devotional. Brings you closer do the Lord

I received on of Sarah Youngs devotional from a very dear friend. It truly brought me closer to God than I had felt for awhile. I purchased this one and I love it as much as the other one. I will gladly give these devotionals as gifts as long as I can find them, and let each person know how special they are.

Encouraging and Hopeful

This is my second Sarah Young daily devotional. I couldn’t have chosen a better one to read during this year of COVID, but it would be excellent any year. I’m starting another of hers tomorrow: they make a beautiful start to my day.

Jesus Calling is her best. This is not necessary if you have her ...

Jesus Calling is her best. This is not necessary if you have her first book. It's like her publishers said write another book for us to sell but there's nothing additional to her first writing.

Jesus Always: Embracing Joy in His Presence... Sarah Young

It's OK. The passages she quotes to support her thoughts are minimal. But, her thoughts about them, as brief as she quotes are OK to read if could assist you in getting you "started" and go further in the Word; so, good for that. It's light, light weight so if prefer that, this will work for you.

Great!

Jesus Always has been the perfect way to start my day alongside my prayers. Listening to Jesus speak to my heart before the activities of the day crashes in on me, set a positive, thankful, and joyful mindset in me. I enjoyed the Bonus Content immensely. It gave me a taste of her other books. I'm undecided on which one to read next.

Joy is Necessary

I love Sarah Young’s Devotional books because I believe that what she writes is backed up with the Word of God. I don’t usually like devotionals, but I really have seen a difference in my walk with Christ because every time I read a page, she has verses that go with it. They have encouraged me in hard times as well as just kept me going through the good times. This specific one in regards to joy has been wonderful because the joy of the Lord is my strength, and I have definitely been in need of strength in this last year, so I am completely grateful for each day that is focused on choosing joy! Love love this!

Outstanding! Looking forward to each day reading another message from God.

Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, it really DID get better! The specific devotion I read for two days ago (June 20) was so good, I thought Jesus was standing right in front of me speaking to me Himself. I am extremely grateful for this book..and for God answering prayers through this book. Kudos to my heavenly Father and this author!

Talking to me

When read my daily readings, I feel it is directed to me and my life. It definitely helps me get through each day, especially during 2020. Can't wait to start the new year with another daily reading from Sarah Young. 🙏

A lovely daily reminder of God's love for us.

This book presents an opportunity to be reminded daily of God's love, patience, strength, forgiveness and, importantly, His availability to us. The Biblical citations at the bottom of each daily reading reinforce the main messages of the reading, further testament to God's consistency and the author's research. This book is a much loved tool for nurturing my relationship with Jesus.

Five Stars

Excellent daily remind and encouragement to seek God.

Feel God's Presence

Her daily readings are as if God is talking to you and are right on target. I recommend this book to all as it helps get your day off to a good start. Her 3 fourteen day readings bring much comfort. Enjoy these daily readings.

Great devotional reading.

Jesus Always is a very enlightening devotional book written by a good christian lady named Sarah Young. There are 365 daily devotions, one for every day of the year, written so even your younger children can understand and learn more about the scriptures. Sarah has written several other devotional books and a couple of children's books that I plan to purchase over the next year.

Excellent and Inspired

It is the last thing I read and ponder on before I turn out the light to sleep at night. Love that God has spoken through Sarah and appreciate that it is all based on and references Scripture for the insights. I love to be able to focus on an aspect of my relationship with Him as I prepare to rest.

Great Devotional series

Sarah Young has a wonderful way of making you hear Jesus as if he were talking directly to you. Finally, Jesus is speaking to you himself and not just a one way conversation. So Far, all her books are great!

Good devotional for those short on time

This devotional seems similar to her others. I sometimes feel like she recycles devotionals and uses them for multiple books. I think her books are good for when you need a quick pick me up but I wish they had more depth.

CDs

I saw audio book, I didn't realize it meant CDs. I thought it was a player that you put batteries in & it plays. I nor the person that I gave this to as a gift have a CD player.....my fault for not reading the description carefully.

Love it!

I absolutely love this book! I read mine every day and am giving it to my Christian friend for Christmas. It is like Jesus is talking straight to you. It grows you with the word. It is a daily inspiration to me

Sarah Young's books are such a comfort

My mother started us out on the original Sarah Young book, Jesus Calling. I have since discovered the subsequent ones and have given them to her as gifts and she in turn will the give a 3 book set as gifts to people she feels will benefit from them. They are a wonderful read and I would recommend to anyone....

Daily devotional book

I took off one star because this book is so tiny.Purse size. Jesus Calling was so good so I bought this one.Its a good one to carry around or travel with.Inspirational words as if Jesus was talking to you.

Favorite devotion

This is a great book and similar to other Sarah Young books. Love the daily devotions and have given this as a gift several times as it's easy and encouraging to read every day. The difference between this and Jesus Calling is the verses are not written out but I like that. You look up the listed verses for the day if you'd like

You Will be Blessed by "Jesus Always"

I have used and been blessed by Sarah Young's "Jesus Calling" for ten years. I looked at "Jesus Always" and decided to buy it. I am being just as blessed by this book as the other one. Her other books have been good, but this one speaks to me as much as "Jesus Calling"

Great Daily Devotion

It just keeps me focused each day. I received a "Jesus Calling" from a friend at Christmas. I have one that I have used until I bought "Jesus Always". Will pay it forward.

Jesus is always with us

This book had daily inspiration. I have used the Jesus Calling devotion for several years and purchased Jesus Always. Both books have just the message I needed for each day.

Needed the digital version of Jesus Always

I was gifted a hard bound copy of Jesus Always. My copy is being to show signs of wear from my travels. I use the digital Kindle version when I travel to preserve my book. Bonus of having less stuff to bring with me.

Jesus Calling has been my favorite devotional for years

Jesus Calling has been my favorite devotional for years, and this new book is just as good. I use both books, because each has meaningful insights, help and comfort. I highly recommend "Jesus Always" -- a perfect gift, too!

This book does not give the part of the psalm ...

This book does not give the part of the psalm, nor the bible verses it is referring to, but tells where to find them by displaying the psalm number and the book of the Bible.. I'd rather have the edition that displays that section of the psalm and the verses rather than having to look it up.

Great Daily Devotional!

This devotional is fantastic. Its small size makes it perfect to take anywhere. Great for daily inspiration with bible cross references. The ribbon bookmark makes it easy to pick up where you left off. Wonderful addition to any bible study!

Another good book by this author

I love my daily devotions before bedtime every night and I have 3 of her books. Have never found one as good as Jesus Calling but they are all thought provoking and comforting.

Love Jesus

I really like all of her devotionals I’ve read. And it’s my go to every day. Thank you Sarah. Looking forward to the new one I’ll be starting!

Best Devotional Ever!

The absolutely best daily devotional book I have ever read with the exception of her other book "Jesus Calling". They are really a great way to start and end your day with the Lord. Both books helps you put things into perspective. Really like this book!

This is the greatest book.

I received this book when my husband passed away 2 years ago from a friend and it really helped. It's like Jesus talking directly to you. I have given several copies to friends. It's a "must have" book.

Life Changing

This devotional is life changing you won't be disappointed. Get a few copies to give to someone close, they won't be disappointed either.

Great Devotional For Christians to Remember to Find Joy Even When We are On The Struggle Bus Of Life

Very uplifting and encouraging. A great way to start your day if you love Jesus and need a boost. Great reminder of how to take a few minutes to ponder how to find joy when we are on the struggle bus of life by focusing on the joy in our relationship with Jesus in His presence.

Great Devotional!

Great devotional. I read it (most) every day. Gave one to a friend and she loves it, too. If you want to start your day off on the right foot, this is the best way to go.

Inspirational easy to read

An inspirational book of daily devotions. Having never read any books by this author, I took a chance and very pleased with this daily devotional. So much, I will be ordering several copies for gifts.

One of the best devotionals you could ever read

One of the best devotionals you could ever read. Sarah writes from her heart where Jesus lives. I always feel like the Lord is talking to me when I read this. I recommend the Kindle version as you will get the scripture verses too. A must have!

Great passage guide, accurate website description! Thank you!

My step Mom is very dedicated, When I visit her, I never see the book. I laugh when she tells me, I forgot to check under her pillow! LOL! Gotta stay dedicated to it. Eventually there's overwhelming feeling, a pattern, message it's telling youI If you read the one verse, One day at a time!

Five Stars

Another great spiritual book from Sarah Young.

LOVE

I love getting my daily dose of Jesus! This is written in such a beautiful and poetic way, almost like a love letter directly from Him. There is always something written that feels like it was meant just for me! Beautiful Savior!!!

Just for me.

I enjoy this book so very much. It's like it was just wrote for me. Would be a nice gift for someone I like Sarah Young. The author I want to get more of her books.

Great way to start your day

Very good words to begin your day Its like saying to God thank you for loving me, protecting me and watching over me

Jesus Always

Just started reading it but I like it just like the first book "Jesus Calling"

I was happy when I found it in Amazon so I could ...

I bought this book about 8 times. I found it first at a bookstore and then started giving it as gifts. I was happy when I found it in Amazon so I could stop going to the bookstore. I absolutely love it. It is so inspirational. It's a fabulous gift.

Get one for yourself and several to share.

Not only do I read the daily message to keep my faith uplifted, I keep extra copies to share with people who are having difficulties in their lives. They often let me know how much it has helped them.

Beautiful readings.

My stepdaughter loves this gift. Great daily readings to keep you close to the Lord. I also bought her a bible for the Bible verses at the bottom.

Great Daily Devotional

When we were going on a long trip I bought the ebook and put it on my phone. I read through one year via the book before but love it on my phone. Great resource I often find just what I need to comfort me on my journey in these devotionals

Inviting

I had started reading the Jesus Calling book that was a gift to me. Upon reading a sample of this book I found it to be inviting to read also. Words if written advice at times

I believe she will enjoy it!

This was a Christmas gift for my mother and she hasn't really listened to it yet (I got the book on cd), she is looking forward to listening to it every day. I wanted something uplifting for her and from the sample I listened to, I believe she will enjoy it!

Quality & price

Bought 5 at Christmas for gifts. Love having the Bible verses right there. These always touch my heart and give me food for thought/meditate!

Real life experiences

I the daily devotionals, each author has a real life and his or her own story of their faith journey to share. Some you may go wow or omg but the messages are heart warming.

A wonderful book for morning devotions

I love this devotional book. It’s encouraging, challenging and insightful. I’ve bought a few for others.

Great Christmas Gift.

Excellent as always. A great way to start your day, especially in time of troubles. I thought Jesus Calling was a great starter book and this was good for the next year.

I love it as much as the 1st one

I swear by starting my day off with a daily reading. I just bought this as I had finished the previous book Jesus calling. You don't have to be religious to get enjoyment out of this book. She writes in a way that can apply to anyone.

My Daily Companion

Reading each daily devotion sets my outlook to Jesus as powerful and necessary. I'm so grateful that God chose Sarah Young to commonicate His love to us in such a personal manner. I strongly recommend this wonderful book to all!

Jesus Always is with you

Wonderful uplifting book with a passage/readings to get you through each day knowing Jesus is always with you and you can only find true joy with Him.

Great for building daily prayer habit

Book was great for opening my eyes and heart on a daily basis to the Lords calling and direction for each day

Amazing!

Sarah Young's books are a warm, soft place to fall. Everyone needs to make their own choices, but you can't go wrong choosing one of her books. 'Jesus Calling' is the best book to start with.

Not enough for me

This is a good book but I wouldn't consider it a stand alone devotional. Each day is one page and the pages are very small. Not your typical book page size. Overall the contents are great but expected a more comprehensive devotional. For someone looking to no more than 10-15 minutes on their daily devotional, this is the book for them.

This book is AMAZING! A MUST HAVE

This book is AMAZING! AMAZING. I have literally bought this book 10 times this year, I keep giving it away, I feel like everyone should have one. I’m buying 4 books today and giving them as Christmas gifts. God Bless Sarah Young. AMAZING. ❤️

Great Devotional

Have 3 of her devotionals and love them. Have given them as gifts and it's one devotional book that is loved by all in the Bible Study I attend. Always have one of them sitting by my chair, another in my office and one by my bedside.

Love letters from Jesus

I am so grateful for Sara Youngs god-given talent. These devotions are like getting a love letter from Jesus everyday. You cannot help but feel the joy! Thank you Sara Young!

Great book

I chose the 5 stars because it is easy to read and understand. You are talking with God and listening to him. Sarah young does wonderful writings I feel. I have several of her books. I would recommend to family and friends.

One of my favorites

I’m currently using this book. It’s one of my favorites and I enjoy the simplicity of it. I read it daily and I enjoy the daily devotionals. I’ve recommended this book to many others.

Wonderful!

Sarah Young does it again! Simply a wonderful addition to her series. You will be blessed

Very inspiring for quiet time reading!

Love these devotionals by Sarah Young! Inspired by God and always so timely reminders!

Awesome devotional

Highly recommend. I purchased one for every lady in our bible study group last Christmas & I have received so many compliments on how this book has blessed each of them. It's written in a way that is easy to understand and relatable to us individually.

I had been given one of these devotional books and loved it. I purchased one for everyone in my class room and then later purchased one for by son. He has two other of Sarah Young's books and I thought he needed this one about JOY in HIs presence.

Another well written book by Sarah Young

What better way to start your day than with God's word, written as if Jesus himself were speaking to you? I personally can't think of a better way. Another of Sarah's books well done.

My daily read, and direction with my God & Saviour

I read each daily prayer twice every day,and the Lord's guidance keeps me aware of his peace, direction and prayer. Thank you Sarah Young for your writings

Great Devotional

Very meaningful messages each and everyday. This book is a blessing.

I always buy 3 orr more of her books to give away as gifts, they are that good.

I have always been inspired by Sarah Youngs books. This one is no different. Her way of writing is deeply personal and she provides scriptural foundation for her writing. I usually purchase 3 or more copies so I have some to give away as gifts.

Great to share!

Reading this daily with a bunch of ladies. I am glad I have this devotional to carry with me. There are times where I have handed the book to someone to read that days' devotional. Its small enough to carry in your purse. You never know who you will have to share it with!

Wonderful Encouraging Devotional

Book was in Brand New condition. Great devotional. All Sarah Young devotionals are good but I prefer the Jesus Calling the best and this one the second best to my liking. Brand new condition. Received it quickly.

This has not disappointed. Each day is a joyful message

WOW! After completely enjoying Jesus Calling for 2 years, I was ready for a change. This has not disappointed. Each day is a joyful message, but not in an overly fake happy way, a true joyful message that you can apply to your every day life. Very relevant content. Sarah Young has hit a homerun with this one!

Jesus Calling has been my favorite devotional for years

Jesus Calling has been my favorite devotional for years, and this new book is just as good. I use both books, because each has meaningful insights, help and comfort. I highly recommend "Jesus Always" -- a perfect gift, too!

Best daily devotions ever

ANYTHING by Sarah Young is AWESOME. It speaks to me daily. The best daily devotions ever in my opinion. Thanks Sarah & Amazon.

Blessing to Start Your Day

So beautiful to read each morning and start your day with a great reminder that God's got your problems and you're blessed to have His word to guide you. Wonderful gift to give to friends!

This one is a real winner!

Wonderful book! So great I even bought an extra one for my neighbor's birthday. I highly recommend all books written by this author. If you like daily Devotionals, you will really enjoy reading them.

Five Stars

I loved anything that comes from this author. Very inspirational!

Love Sarah's books

Love Sarah's books . . . I have 4 of them now. Have read 3 of them at least 3 times over the years. I trade off reading a different one or 2 each year.

I strongly recommend these books. They've changed my life!!!

These books by Sarah Young continue to change my life. The first book I read, Jesus Calling, is what began my walk back to the Lord, and ultimately my salvation John Adam Caran

Great devotional

Gave as a gift, but this is my favorite devotional... speaks straight to the heart.

Love this book! Highly recommended!

Great daily affirmations and why/when God is by your side. Use it every day, along with the companion book, Jesus Calling!

loved the book itself but I came the size of a pocket book

While I love the Jesus calling books, when this one came in the mail I was surprised by the size. I was expecting a normal size book but all I got was a small pocket book size. Made me extremely confused. 🤔

Jesus Calling has been my favorite devotional for years

Jesus Calling has been my favorite devotional for years, and this new book is just as good. I use both books, because each has meaningful insights, help and comfort. I highly recommend "Jesus Always" -- a perfect gift, too!

I love it - I am moving through the sudden loss ...

I have read Jesus Calling....I read this as a companion to Jesus Calling. I love it - I am moving through the sudden loss of my 33 year old husband (5 months after we welcomed our son into this world). Highly recommend for daily bible study as it is scripture based.

Jesus Christ

Once you done reading this, read the KJV Bible - then you'll really be edified! Start with Romans!

As described

This is like a daily "Love letter" from the Lord! The devotional is truly a stunning Word that your own spirit will recognize is God's own Word to His children. Sarah Young has had a direct line to heaven and has acted as a faithful scribe to bring His Words to earth. What a spiritual treat!
