Good eye opening and inspiring book.

Purpose and significance are important concepts at this point of my life and Dr. Munroe has given me insight into knowing if I am on course to fulfilling my God given purpose. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to or needs help finding their purpose.

I'm very pleased with my purchase.

This is a must read for the young and old. After reading the first few pages of this book I ordered 5 more copies for my children and my younger brothers. Reading this book has enriched my life and I had to share it with those I love. My youngest son told me that after reading the first five pages he couldn't put it down. As a mother that made me proud. I does my heart a great service to enfluence the young African American population to read! This book will not disappoint you. It will teach you a lot about yourself and how you view and treat others. I love it!

The author comes from a very christian background which is ok because I believe in a higher power also. He doesn't drown you with the word of the bible but indeed makes much needed occasional references. In my opinion, I dont think he's an author. Author's are expert writers who know how to engage and inform the reader in a manner that is digestible. He is a speaker that put his words on page. To me there is a very big difference, because the craft and expertise of finding the best words and story telling is missing. It still has an excellent message which everyone should enlighten themselves with.

The book is a must read for all.... He makes you ask the right questions and he gives you the right direction for life form God's Point of view.

The idea that we all have a purpose is so true and the book started off well. I just found it to be too much of the same thing chapter after chapter and actually had a hard time finishing the book. What started out as an exciting read left me more than disappointed. Somehow I think it went off course for me about a third of the way in.

In his book “In Pursuit of Purpose” best-selling author Myles Munroe writes to encourage his readers to discover their purpose and develop their full potential. The book is written for those who desire a purposeful life characterized by effectiveness, efficiency, and fulfillment. Dr. Munroe encourages the reader to ask probing questions about themselves that will challenge and unleash purpose. These questions stimulate discussion and reflection that lead to motivation for taking action steps toward application the key principles covered in the chapter. I especially appreciate that the basis for every principle or key to personal fulfillment presented throughout the book is Biblically based. The chapter summaries become resource tools for assimilation of the material. Of the many lessons I learned, three stand out: the chapter titled “Principles of Purpose” helped me identify five people or influencers in finding my life’s purpose, to find out who I am, to be myself, recognize my special niche and work toward fulfilling my dreams. The principles regarding time and purpose helped me recognize the danger of mistaking busyness and distracting activity as productive purpose; this becomes an important reminder of the importance of prioritizing. I was challenged and inspired by the keys introduced in the chapter on “Purpose and Vison” and the need to unify my decisions, companions, choices, and priorities in a quantitative and qualitative standard of measure. I was impressed with the importance of saturating each area of my life with prayer and to make it my goal to be “A Man after God’s Own Heart.”

This book is a major revelation. I have heard many people talk about purpose. But, no one has made the principle of purpose and destiny as simple as Dr. Myles Munroe has. He discussed the fact the God is the manufacturer of people and when He releases them from eternity into time, it is for a specific purpose. He brings to light that God had a special assignment for every individual that he creates and when he sends them to earth, there is a specific way that they are supposed to impact the earth while they are here. He compares humans to a product and discusses the fact that the manufacturer of a product has in mind when he creates the product, what he wants the product to do. Interestingly, he says when the product is not used for its intended purpose, it is being abnormally used, which is abuse. He also goes on to discuss how each product comes with a warranty and the warranty is good as long as the product is used for which the manufacturer created it. Basically, when we obey God and do what God sent us here to do, he always covers us and because we are under his warranty, we can always go back to him and be restored even if we get broken. This is a must read for every believer that really wants to understand why God created them.

This book is an INCREDIBLE READ!!🔥👏🏾🎉 However, the only reason that I’m giving this book 4 stars is because of the NUMEROUS TYPOS! Just a heads up to whoever publishes this book, PLEASE take a look in this book and fix the typos. It got hard to read this book at times because of the misspelled words and misused and misplaced commas! You’ve gotta fix that! With that being said, I recommend this book to everyone!

. This book can't help but for you to look at your life with the understanding that we will all stand before the Lord someday and be measured by what we did in relation to what we were called to do. In Pursuit of Purpose Myles Munroe sets us on a path toward fulfilling our purpose by giving us needed information and basic principles that characterize purpose as God designed it. It is like a purpose 101 course and I would recommend it to young people beginning careers and to others seeking direction for their lives. Worldly success from Godly success will be distinguished in which the latter is all that should matter to us and by which we will be judged. Myles Munroe warns us that it is not how many years we live that determines success but how we live it in terms of purpose. He further explains the necessity of knowing Him and how through Him you can persevere through the trials knowing God will sustain and equip you for your called mission. There will be pitfalls along the way, as Satan doesn't play fair, but you will be equipped to deal with them after you heed the principles. The author's heartbeat is for us to live a life of joy, hope, and peace. In order to do so we must discover and live out our purpose with intentionality. Never underestimate what God can do in and through you as you climb aboard in His plans for your life.

Doctor Myles Munroe provides readers with a true revelation as to their purposes for being, how to acheive those purposes in a righteous manner, and the consequences of failing to achieve the purposes for which they were created. Amazing book by an amazing man of God! I have lived life feeling lost and aimless, wondering if this was what life was supposed to be all about...nothing! However after reading this book, I have since learned that God created each and every one of us to have a purpose, and I have since embarked on a journey of discovering what my purpose here on earth is and to work on fulfilling it. Much better than purpose driven life. Easy to read. Bulletpoints highlighted and summarized at end of each chapter. Clear and concise. Great read. Your life will be transformed by the insights this book reveals. I've read it twice now!

Excellent book, Recommended every one to read.

This book did not meet my expectations. The whole book goes around the idea that you have to ask God for your purpose. Which is common sense to me. I would call this book "why do you have to ask God for your purpose?" Just my personal opinion. I recommend it for people who don't know why to ask God for their purpose. The positive point was that it was easy to understand.

Must read.

It re-enforced what I was always wondering. It encouraged me to continue to connect with God to know my purpose and to pursue that purpose.
