Incorrect Book Description
The book description on this page is for Dennis Stevenson's book "Study the Bible: Six Easy Steps." I bought the book "I Will Sing of My Redeemer" (this page) because I love the old hymns and it is a devotional book focused on 52 of them as the book title describes. I have read a few of the devotions so far and appreciate what they say.
Dennis is sharing the light given him.
I like all your books Dennis because they show that you are genuine in your study and service. Thank you very much. God has blessed.
Start the day encouraged!
Dennis has chosen well known favorite hymns. He links each to Scripture and explains the doctrine in everyday language. This devotional starts my day with encouragement and puts my focus on our great God. I find myself singing the hymns and keeping my mind on what really matters and it changes my perspective.
Great devotional
This book makes a great daily devotional. It's nice to see appreciation for the old hymns that have so much to offer, yet are sadly being rooted out of modern worship practices.
