My daughter and I both enjoyed reading this book.

I saw the I still believe movie (which was really good) but then a while later came across the book Melissa' mother wrote containing Melissa's journals and ordered it and was astounded by the faith and love of this girl. Then i saw this and thought well it might add a little more of his feelings/story than the movie so i ordered a used copy and wow, i am truely impressed by the faith of this man. So much more information about him and his life and his faith I always liked his music but now i just have such a tremendous amount of respect for this man. These 2 books his and her journals really challenged me as a Christian making me want the kind of faith the she had and he has. I highly recommend both books.

I never give a 5 star review but this deserves it. I loved the love story and even the death story even though it rips your heart out. I think it's when you find the blessings from tragic circumstances that God used the most. Melissa dying allowed many others to live eternally because of her testimony. Man I hope I can leave that kind of legacy. And Adrianne what a woman. She loves Jeremy and God enough to let Melissas light still shine because it matters to the audience she's reaching and because she was a lovely human. Jealousy hasn't interrupted their marriage and caused Melissa's story not to continue to shine. Jeremy was blessed with two wonderful women. Enjoyed the movie too. I cried so much but felt Gods presence all around it.

I've sung the title song with the radio. I've read the book. I've been through my own Journey of Faith through the valley of the shadow of death, grieving, and at times the grief still strikes. Camp does an excellent job of consistently pointing to the cross, pointing to the love and grace of God as the place where peace can be restored and healing makes us whole again. Strongly recommended for anyone struggling with grief that distances them from God. Draw near to the Lord in all circumstances, and understand that He is always near. Thank you for these reminders, Jeremy Camp. Reading your book drew me into worship God again and again.

I was so disappointed I immediately downloaded the book and read it. What an awesome story of Jeremy, Melissa and Adrianne Camp what they went thru how God used them to win other souls into the kingdom. God is an awesome God he never leaves us nor forsake us no matter how tough life gets no matter what comes out way we have to have faith and believe in him..trust and pray he WILL see us through. I highly recommend this book you will be moved by the life experiences and how God has used The Camp family.

Wow. I cannot begin to describe how timely finding this book was. This book helped my faith in a way that I almost cannot put in words. Thank you. I will never forget how God put this book in my path at such a time when I truly needed to be encouraged. I will never forget Melissa's story, Jeremy's story and Adrienne's story. Thank you for writing this and inspiring so many!

In 2009 I lost my youngest daughter who was 21 and though it was the hardest thing I had ever had to deal with or will ever have to deal with, Jeremy Camps music..the words of his songs that came from his broken heart, helped get me through that time of struggling with my own beliefs in the God I once knew. For the first year, all I did was plug my iPod in and get on my elliptical and sing Jeremy's songs at the top of my lungs. It brought me comfort, healing and peace in a way I don't think anything else could have. I couldn't pray, couldn't read my Bible and couldn't function on a normal, every day basis. This music and his story helped me through. I am now just finishing reading this book and it is a great one to read if you are struggling through a loss and grief that comes with it. I encourage you to download his songs and listen to them and let the healing begin. The Bible says we are able to comfort others with the comfort we have been given and this is just what this wonderful man of God does through his story and through his music! Thank you Jeremy for sharing your journey and for being obedient to God when He called you to pick up your guitar!

I saw the movie trailer in the theater and wanted to read the book before I see the movie. As Bart Millard wrote in his introduction, the book contains details of Jeremy's life that couldn't be included in the film. While the book mainly focuses on what Jeremy went through losing his first wife, it's much more than that. All throughout the book are other stories of how God worked in the lives of Jeremy's friends and family. As a musician, I also appreciated reading how Jeremy's music ministry started and succeeded, and how he used that success to reach thousands with a message of hope, healing, and salvation.

The book, "I Still Believe" is one that is very personal. For years I have listened to the music of Jeremy Camp but after reading this book there is so much insight now knowing what the driving force was behind the creation of many of his songs and the challenges he was facing. Jeremy Camp really opens up in this book not only as a Christian but one who is in the spotlight quite often. He talks a lot about where his family was at one point in their lives, the temptations that he himself faced and how he either overcame them or how they overcame him. This book reveals another human while very famous, still faces challenges and opposition and doesn't always rise above it from the start. For anyone who isn't saved and that has ever dealt with or is apart of a family that struggles with alcohol and death and overcoming those battles this book is a must read. Jeremy shares that through everything there is a God who loves us and wants us to live with him forever in paradise. I've enjoyed so much reading this book. It speaks a lot about how following your own will vs. following the will of God can change your life drastically.

Jeremy Camp bares his soul in his memoir. It is open and honest, heartbreaking and haunting, but above all, it is a testimony as to what the Lord has done in his life. He has had moments when he lost his focus on the Lord, moments when he struggled, but his faith is astounding. He seeks God in all that he does and God has done amazing things through Jeremy. Powerful testimony!

I'll listen to Jeremy's music and lyrics with more understanding in the future. It's good to know that his words are deeply sincere and embedded in his own experience of God's faithfulness.

I watched the movie first then I read the book! Both are truly inspirational. Jeremy is not afraid to mention his downfalls, but he really resonates how Christ has taken him through everything in his life. This is a very good book. Her name was Malisha and lived on earth for 28 years old. She and my nephew Brian were married for 7 years, had two young children 2 and 5, before she went to heaven. I watched your movie this past weekend and just finished the book and what a impact it made in my faith in Jesus. So thankful you shared your story.

A very well written true story about Jeremy Camp and his first wife Melissa as well as his second wife Adrienne. The faith demonstrated by them all throughout Melissa's fight with cancer and later Adrienne's support for Jeremy, his music ministry and witnessing is truly amazing. Very well worth reading at least once and probably several times due to the depth of it's message.

This is the third used book I have purchased from Goodwill of Colorado Springs. All three were in excellent condition. They looked brand new. Everytime I search for a used book, I always go through the sellers to see if this Goodwill has the book and buy from them.

I was awed by the movie and had to read the book as well. God's hope and grace shines through with each page. This story has ignited something in my heart that's changed me forever. I feel God's love for me deeper than ever before. It would not be easy to share such a heartfelt and tragic story to the public. I deeply admire that and I'm grateful that Jeremy was given the courage to do so that we all have the blessing to receive God's light through this beautiful story.

It is a great book to pass on to someone that may be struggling with their faith.

While many autobiographies are lacking in a heart warming storyline, "I Still Believe" checks all the boxes for a read of a fantastic true story. The heart felt honesty can be felt throughout the book as the author shares his own weaknesses and doubts,, relinquishing those to God and the wonderful way God uses Camp to spread his gospel message.

If you have seen the movie don't bother reading this. Usually the book is better than the movie but not in this case. I fell in love with the movie after being drug kicking and screaming knowing how predictable it was going to be and I had never heard of Jeremy Camp. I just didn't like this book it was way too much.

This book was so much more than a love story between Jeremy and his wife. It is a love story between him and God. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire book. It is so inspirational and sincere. His story telling is so honest and from a heart to serve the Lord above all. It makes me reflect on my faith and encourages me on my own walk with God. I would recommend this book to everyone.

Jeremy shares his pain after losing his wife to cancer but more importantly he shares how God can bring healing and comfort through pain. Romans 8:28 God works all things to the good for those who love him. God used Jeremy's pain and his first wife's love for God to bring others to Christ in a big way. Jeremy's second wife brings him love, understanding, and support with such compassion and a deep love for God. A must read!!!!

This is absolutely a beautiful story. I have been a Jeremy Camp fan for years, but only knew a little about his testimony. As I read "I Still Believe" it completely touched my heart. This book draws you in and it is pretty impossible to put down. It is written with such transparency and packed full of hope and encouragement. As I said above, I have been a Jeremy Camp fan for years.. loving his music and relating to it. After reading his book I now see where so many of those lyrics came from. Truly, this is one of the best books I have read in a long time. It is captivating and relatable! I have loaned the book out to a few friends and they all say the same thing! For me, it was a life changing book.. I came away from it wanting a deeper relationship with God and really wanting to see how God works all things out!!! So worth the read!!!! Loved it!!!

I chose this rating because the story held my attention all the way through. It showed the raw emotions & reality of coping. It also showed how great to have parents that taught & lived the truth of God's Word! How this was a rock to build life on.

Jeremy’s life reminds me in some ways of King David, from the Holy Scriptures. He has had trials and testing. But, he has a heart for Jesus Christ. It is evident that Jeremy, with the love and support of his family, will continue to live a life to give glory to God.

Beautiful how inspiring his life’s work inspires how God’s grace and mercy is with us. His eyes are always turned to the Lord. The Lord uses our hardships to bring us closer to him. Our hurts are never wasted it brings us closer to the Lord. Can’t wait to see the movie.

Such an amazing book, movie & songs. There will be a Day was the 2nd song that came on the radio when my uncle passed away unexpected. That song has been with me through lots of deaths. Such a blessing to know we will see them again.

I had to buy this book after watching the movie. Both Jeremy and Melissa are huge fans of mine, with their Faith and Hearts for Christ! I’m thankful that Jeremy shares his upbringing, and his struggles in this book. I recommend this to anyone looking to grow in their Faith or have questions/struggles with a Lossed One!

He has always been one of my favorite musicians. I've seen and loved the movie, of course the book is more detailed and so much better. Reading it and you feel all the emotions that he went through it was tough but it was an awesome book. I highly recommend it.

I’m sharing this book with everyone I know. It is a great autobiography/memoir of Jeremy Camp’s life and is a reminder of God’s faithfulness and love for us if you trust in Him. I cannot say enough great things about this book. The writing style is so easy to follow. I recommend reading this and then seeing the movie that is coming out next week and sharing with all your friends!

I loved the raw emotion and tender filled honesty of the less than perfect life Jeremy brought to life with his words. He had a beautiful (but over before it began) marriage to a woman who truly loved The Lord and Jeremy and everyone in her path! His honesty and love made me hunger for this same type of relationship with Jesus that he had. I rooted not only for Jeremy but for his parents as well! While some may believe Jeremy fell in love quite soon after Melissa I believe it was because of Melissa. Melissa looked on with love and found someone to heal the heart of her wounded and grieving husband for Melissa's love really is eternal! Melissa had moved on to her heavenly home and meant the words she said to Jeremy to not stay long in his grief!! Some things happen by chance and some by fait! 5 star review and a must read!

I watch the movie for it first. It was really good. The book is so much better it goes into greater details about before, during, and after. It will defeat challenge you to trust God through it all. It is an amazing story and the way God worked everything out. Definitely worth reading.

Very ministering book. I always loved Jeremy Camp. Now I know the whole story, I connected in many ways.

I pray that anyone who reads this book will let Jesus into their lives or let Him increase in their lives. I am so happy that I have Jesus in my life though I was 45 before that happened. I feel that in bringing my children up they missed the experience of a relationship with the Lord.

This book touched me to my very core. I am amazed at the faith displayed by this young Christian man through one of the most difficult times in his life. God has truly used this book to demonstrate the joy and goodness He can bring to our lives if we still believe.

This is a powerful and wonderful story. Jeremy’s honesty is powerful in itself. But, add in the faith abs trials that he faced and walked through, and you have a powerful book! Definitely a must read.

I have seen Jeremy Camp in concert and I wanted to read his book. I still believe is so heart breaking but I love how he praised God through his storm of life. It wasn’t easy but God got him through it. Also I saw the movie 2 times and I cried both times.

This book is so well worth reading and rereading. While Jeremy relates his life story, he shares how to grow in your relationship with God. Though my life story is very different than his, I could identify with the valleys in my own life that have occurred. Learning to trust the Lord should be everyone’s life mission.

A very touching and vulnerable story. It makes you realize how real Jesus is and how He is daily there for us. I love Jeremy Camps music and now his life story. It’s so worth reading.

I ordered a used copy of this for a friend and had it sent to her house. She said it is in “great condition”, so that makes me happy. I have read the book and I really enjoyed it. It gave me a new perspective and helped me work through some of my own grief. I am hoping it will help my friend as well. I have seen Jeremy live four times in the past five years and he always has a wonderful set. I recommend this book to Christians andnon-Christians alike.

I chose this rating for I Still Believe, because it helps the reader to see just how faithful God remains through all we go through. We may not understand, but through trusting, obedience and believing, God will show Himself strong. What an Amazing story! I was truly blessed!

I recently went to Jeremy Camp's concert in Houston. The most powerful, soul cleansing, and spirit lifted experience, by the way! I was already a fan of his music but unaware of his testimony. He mentioned having a book so the next day I ordered it on my kindle. I loved the start of his parents obedience to The Lord and how through every trial and tribulation they remained faithful. The same remained true in Jeremy's life. I was saddened for his hardships but grateful that he hung in there to ultimately listen to what God was telling him, to go where he was led, and to do what Our Father wanted him to do. Time after time he was obedient. I'm glad he wrote this book.

I had never heard Jeremy’s story before the movie came out. After watching it, I HAD to read the book. I am amazed at his faith and strength. May God continue to bless his ministry.

While Camp does not write with the grace of a novelis, this book reminds us all that walking by faith is not a piece of cake, but full of sacrifices. And when we choose Christ our lives will be rewarded.

This book was so inspirational. Jeremy Camp has went through a lot of tribulation, but has survived by knowing that God is loving. For those who do not know, Jeremy Camp's first wife, Melissa, died from cancer very shortly after they got married. This book shows how his parents became Christians and his struggles during his teenage years, how he grew in his faith due to his first wife's passing, and how he came to love his second wife, Adrienne. For me, this book encouraged me that God is always with you even when you are suffering, everything happens for a reason (God's plan), and that God always wants the best for us. This is a must read!

I saw Jeremy Camp in Tucson, Arizona on Easter 2013 for Resurrection Celebration. I knew I enjoyed his music but was unaware of his testimony & Melissa. With our pastor dealing with his recent loss of his wife, it seemed fitting to have Jeremy at our celebration. God works in our lives whether was it or not. I read this book with hopes of understanding grief & the challenges it can bring. I felt inspired to share this book with my sister. It was a heartfelt & honest book that glorified God in all circumstances. Thank you Jeremy for sharing.

This book is simply one of the best I've read in ages. Jeremy walks you through his testimony in full detail. The ups and downs, the highs and lows. Throughout it all, he remains humble and always goes back to the reason he is even doing music in the first place. I usually take a while to read through books, as I'm a slow reader, but this was one book I could not put down. I would recommend this book to anyone that is literate.

This was a beautiful book. It is written as if you were sitting across the kitchen table from Jeremy Camp and he was just telling you his story. If you have ever struggled with pain and loss and wondered if God is real and how He could love you... you must read this book. If you just want to be blessed and stirred by God's faithfulness... this book is for you too. Your faith will be encouraged and and you will be inspired to grow closer to Jesus and trust Him yourself.

As I read this book God spoke to my heart. He spoke to my own dealings with suffering, loss of loved ones, and the gripping fear of feeling that pain again. He used this book to emphasize a conversation that I'd just had with one of my closest friends/my most trusted Christian mentor. I highly recommend!! It doesn't matter if you're in the valley or on the mountain top, this book is one everyone should read. And I would like to say, that I STILL BELIEVE!!

Excellent read. It is so amazing how God is working through him to bring more people to Christ. He has endured a lot for such a young man. His first wife and his present wife and children along with his parents must be so proud of him. I am. I enjoy his music so very much. Keep on keepin on Jeremy.

Sometimes we don't know what's behind a story or the songwriter and this book was very enlightening. It was a little slow to start and then I couldn't put it down. So glad he followed God's plan and found happiness.

Gives a person a true picture of completely trusting God in everything. Love the way the book is written like you're talking to a friend. I like this book very much! He is open and honest about his experiences and where it has brought him today, and how he has been able to get through and still be a positive influence. I have attended Jeremy Camp concerts and found him to be such a sincere and upbeat person, if you like his music, or want a story that will give you hope - this book is a must read!

I got a lot of inspiration and hope reading this book. No matter what life brings we have to trust that God knows what He's doing. It is great to get to know Jeremy through this book to better understand his heart behind the songs he writes and sings. They will have even more meaning to me when I listen now.

From humble beginnings this man was blessed by God to have an amazingly unheard of gift for music, but so much more. He teaches you how to love the lord and trust in him through hard trials coming out with praise. And seeing Gods goodness and purpose for your life.

Great book

My husband passed away in a car wreck a couple of weeks ago. Jeremy's book helps me know that I'm not alone and reminds me God is always with me. I appreciate him allowing God to use him as a tool to help others.

I related to this book on a personal level. I have had hard time in my life. But reading about the strenghen of Will and Faith that Jeremy Camp has is remarkable. His music is what final what turn me to a life of Christ. I feel I have more of a understanding of the artist beyond the music now. Now I'm waiting for another awesome CD.

I really enjoyed Jeremy Camps life story and loved that he incorporated the verses that he would study when he was going through certain things in his life. He is a remarkable singer that has inspired me through his words. I recommend this book to any reader.

Great story with many aha moments. The writing sometimes sounded like a conversation with a young person full of digressions but the message is powerful and helped me reaffirm my faith. The history of my favorites songs development was cool too. I gave it to my brother to support him after the death of his wife from cancer.

I LOVE Jeremy Camp's songs- the song I Still Believe has brought me so much comfort- because like Jeremy I too have lost a spouse- and that song has given me so much hope for my future. His songs are so beautiful and poetic, so I thought his book would be very well written too. Sadly it's not. The book does not have good flow and is overall boring- because of the way it is written and does not go more in depth in regards to his feelings- so it falls flat to the reader. I kept waiting to get to a better part- but it seemed to say the same thing over and over. I am a bit disappointed I purchased the book- because I usually don't pay much for books- and at $10 I feel I just threw my money away and it would have been better spent buying one of his music CD's instead.

What an incredible story of faith. I truly enjoyed Jeremy's story. I've experienced personal tragedy and his words really hit home, and helped ease some of the pain. I'm even a bigger fan of him now.

Good read for young and old alike. I particularly enjoyed the powerful story of his parent's conversion before he was born. All is not whitewashed here, there is struggle, sin and even poverty. But what a wonderful testimony, thank you Jeremy

Excellent!!!!!! Learning that we all have a story called life. However, when God's the center, the core, the purpose of your life, the story will always have a happily forever after. Eternity with our King of Kings sounds like a happy ending to me.

I read this in two sittings. I was not a fan of Jeremy Camp, just a casual listener; now I have been really drawn in to his life's message and love his music. This is a very engaging book.

I really enjoyed reading the life story of Jeremy Camp, where he came from, and the journey to where he is now. It is a story of a young man who's faith in the Lord brings him through the toughest of circumstances for someone so young. Would highly recommend "I Still Believe."
