I Do, or Dye Trying (Curl Up and Dye Mysteries,#4)

Continuing saga of Josh and Gabe. They're more in love, committed to their future together and planning the next step, marriage. This book pulls all the loose ends from the previous 3 books together. The mystery of who trashed Georgia's house (book 1) solved with a plausible character. The mystery of why Nate was murdered (book 2) solved but seemed a little weak reasoning IMO. The mystery of who killed Gabe's brother Dylan was solved but the killer was too convenient IMO. The Miami Internal Affairs finally gets enough evidence to charge Gabe's old partner Jimmy of murder and he flees Miami, presumably to hunt down Gabe. When he does he does the old song and dance of confessing all his crimes to Gabe which didn't come as a shock, with the exception of one that would be a spoiler alert so I'll only say you'll understand after you read the book. I agree with one of the other reviewers that the two bird's verbage was OTT at times but still funny at times. Looking forward to Dr. Dimples/Chaz's and Emory/Silver's stories and hopefully there will be some Josh and Gabe in those, because how their story ended, something's are just beginning. Really liked this book but it felt a little off for me. Maybe because so much is going on, not sure. I just think books 2 & 3 are better.

With everything that has been going on and Josh and Gabe's lives I'm surprised that they actually made it down the aisle. But they did. And it was amazing. But, that's not what the entire book is about. Nope. We finally find out who is after Gabe this time and not Josh. Or is he after Josh? Do you have to read the book to find out. But it was an amazing book and definitely was a great way to say" so long for now" to Josh and Gabe. Because we will definitely see them again. We found out a little more about Kyle and Chaz but not much about Emery and Jonathan. I am very excited for Do Me Dr. Dimples. And I just know that their story is definitely going to be worth the wait. And we really cannot forget about Sassy. Even Savage now has someone to make moony eyes over or in bird speak “bob his head up and down and swoop it down to the left.” It will be incredibly interesting to see if Josh and Gabe are able to get Sassy and Savage's language cleaned up in only three months. My bet is no.

But what holds it together are two wonderfully developed characters in Gabe and Josh, their friends, family, and in this one two absolutely hilarious cockateels with vicious, dirty mouths. And, of course, a wonderful love story wrapped around two dastardly criminal plots, one of which is a holdover from the previous book and the new one a truly frightening possibility that raises an ugly head and leaves an unsettled pall over the last quarter of the book. That is unfortunate because that portion of the book involves plans for Gabe and Josh's wedding, expansion of their close coterie and introduction of a new family to their lives. If I had a complaint in this one it would be that there is too much side play and chatter in the last quarter of the book, but there is enough heat in these two characters to keep the pages turning, sometimes I felt, on their own. I am ordering the spin-offs which should be angsty and hopefully as entertaining.

Was loving this continuation of the series, but had a really hard time when the narrator used a completely different voice for Gabe's adoptive mother and his adoptive father. First time we met Gabe's parents in Florida, his mother had an hispanic accent and we learned that Gabe's father was African American. But when Gabe's parents showed up for the wedding, both parents sounded like caricatures of New Yorkers with heavy rasps. I'm surprised that this detail slipped by the author and the producer of this audio book. This lack of continuity almost ruined this book for me.

I am absolutely in love with this series. In this book we see Josh and Gabe nesting and planning their future together. Sure they still experience some bumps in the road but what holds true is their chemistry for each other. Their teasing and sexy moments are genuine. I absolutely adore their interactions. We glean more insight into their friends, getting to know them all better. Once again they encounter seedy elements that, while having them look over their shoulders, has them nevertheless moving forward and not letting anyone or anything ruin their big day. Aimee's books are a delight. Not only does she write the main MCs well but she has us caring for the secondary characters as well. They add so much to her books. I took delight in Xavier and Ben from her Fated Hearts series making a cameo. And Josh bringing home Sassy who quickly becomes "Sugartits" to Savage adds to the amusement in their home.

Like her other books, Aimee managed to stuff enough sass and snark into what could have been painfully saccharine. I do feel like she set us up for some of the other "almost couples", so I'm waiting with baited breath to see what comes next for Kyle, Chaz, Jonathon, and Emory. She lined up some delicious teasers for them, but there is no way those stories are over!

FANTASTIC, ENTERTAINING AND FULL OF LAUGHTER!! This was the perfect wrap up to all the loose ends from the previous stories. I enjoyed the characters of Josh and Gabe beyond belief. They were pure entertainment. From their friends, family and even the pets. The insta-wet moments were tastefully written and loving. But above all, this story has parts that are laugh out loud funny. I think that is what made this series so FANTASTIC for me, was the humor. I hope that this isn't the last we will hear from Blissville. I want to know what is going on with Silver, Emory, Kyle, Chaz, Mere and Harley!!?? Thank You so much for the MAGNIFICENT EPILOGUE!!! That made my day. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THIS INCREDIBLE SERIES!!!!!!

This was a great installment in a series I love. Gabe and Josh are one of my all-time favorite couples, and each book just makes that feeling stronger. Don't jump into this one without reading the previous books first, or you'll be lost; but know that the series is worth every minute you will dedicate to it. The entire cast of characters makes me look forward to more, and I can't wait for #chimples to have their story, followed by Emory (who is in desperate need of some loving!) and Jonathan. I'll be happy to read about these people as long as Aimee Nicole Walker keeps writing about them. Love them so much!

OK, I just loved this last book in the Curl Up and Dye series. The addition of Sassy took it to a whole new level. The entire series has evoked all of the emotions, and I enjoyed every one of them. This culmination of Gabe and Josh's journey is supremely satisfying, and their HEA is well earned. I could say so much about so many things in this book, but I will leave it to the reader to discover all the little gems inside. Suffice it to say; you will not be wasting your time if you read this and will be sad when it's over. I could read about these guys forever.

Ms. Walker has done it again. In a terrific way. It is tough for a series to have each book as good as the last. These characters grow, AND the story grows. Each book ties to the last. The continuing drama is intelligent, not too complex to overshadow everything. A good blend. And our MC's keep their sass, while being completely head over heels for each other. The supporting characters are really great, and some continue to tease. There has to be at least two more stories in our futures. AT LEAST!! You have to start at the beginning, but believe me, it is a great ride!

I almost never write a review. I had to after reading this series! Aimee did such a great job with these books that it almost felt like committing a sin not to share how much I enjoyed these books! I truly felt apart of the story! The characters feels so real! I wish I knew a couple like Josh & Gabe!!! The story lines are entertaining, funny, happy, sad, believable! I want the story to continue forever! Sassy, Savage and Buddy are the luckiest pets ever! I'm not going to give away of the plots, read this series.... and be prepared to fall in love!

DO NOT READ THIS BOOK IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE PREVIOUS BOOKS FIRST. It is very important to read this series in order. If you have read the previous books, then you will love this one. If you haven't, you will English at times. Josh and Gabe are perfect for each other. They are very different, but they work as a couple 💑. This more of a personal story instead of a mystery. The guys are adorable.

It's bitter sweet whenever you find out that one of your favorite series is coming to an end! I have formed such a memorable love with the characters of Gabe and Josh from the very beginning! I was blessed to have went through their journey with them! This book was everything that I hoped it would be and more! From the coming of friends, to the beautiful I do' s, meeting of new family members and finally solving and laying to rest meanfully cases! Thank you Aimee for letting me a part of your men!!!

I dont want these to end! Although I can't wait to read the books about Chaz and Kyle and the others, I'm not ready to read the last book for Josh and Gabe. I love them. I know... i know, i griped about some repetition in the first two books and ended up taking a break. I came back after reading someone else's work, picked the 3rd book up again and felt stupid for ever putting it down.

This was by far the best of the series. Josh and Gabe's wedding and honeymoon were fantastic. Gabe meeting his birth mother was a nice twist. And, most of all, there were no long investigations taking place. Gabe found closure for the death of his brother, Dylan and all is well. Would love to read a book about Emery and Johnathan Silver and Kyle and Chaz.

There is a reason this woman has become my all time favorite Author! Did it again! Josh and Gabe, Wow! This final story was just right. Between mysteries, surprises and having a wedding just topped the cake. I loved that the book didn't end with the wedding but continued. I recommend, again, starting with the first book and reading on order or you might miss a couple of things. It's hard to write this without spoilers. Love, surprises and a cussing bird. Doesn't get much better than that.......or does it!

Aimee Nicole Walker as always has out done herself with this book. I love all the characters in this series. It was so nice to see Gabe and Josh finally get married. I love the twist of finding out who killed Dylan Gabe's brother. It was also nice to meet Gabe's biological family. This is a phenomenal book I highly recommend reading. As always with Aimee's books, I read this book in one sitting. I can't t wait to read Chaz and Kyle's story.

Josh and Gabe had me smiling so much in this book my face hurts!!! The development of their relationship over the 4 books was amazing. I aspire to have that in my own life. Knocked this one out of the park, nailed it....pick your saying - they all work. This book made me laugh, it was intense as hell, it was sweet, it was smoking hot - it really had everything you need ... including a few teasers about upcoming romances. I've come to adore Gabe and Josh and their growing brood of animals, friends and more. I can't wait to see what more life can bring to all of them.

Loved this continuation of Josh and Gabe's story. This wrapped up pretty much everything, and I can't wait to read the stories about the secondary characters from this series. It was a little rushed at the end, but still felt satisfying. Hot, sweet, funny and heartwarming, this is a must read for fans of this series and for m/m mystery romance fans.

This was another absolutely delightful book in this series. I love that Josh and Gabe grow individually, and as a couple, in each book and that we done have to endure any backsliding from one book to the next.

Another great story i love this series. Josh and Gabe are great together they love Gabe expresses for Josh is heartwarming. This story s about Josh and Gabe getting ready for their wedding and moving house. There is so many things about this book that had me laughing to myself the interaction between Josh and Gabe and the animals. Please read this series you will not be disappointed.

this is one of my absolute favorite series to read (i've read it AT LEAST 10 times). it's definitely a "feel good" read! the characters are wonderful and funny and was super sad when this series ended. i was super thrilled that bianca's story was added to the first book! that was the only thing i felt was missing...and now it's not! an absolute must read!!

I really like this series. My only problem with this one is the main issue that drove the story forward was over before it barely began leaving many questions. Still I would read it just to get a little more of the birds.

I love anything that Aimee Nicole Walker writes and this was no exception. I love Gabe and Josh and getting to know them in the first three books and finally being able to be with them when they were married. I laughed and cried all thru the story. I really enjoyed this new book in a fabulous series. The lead up to the wedding was typical for Josh and Gabe; lots of drama, shenanigans and loving. There were some good laughs, heartwarming moments and resolution of past events.

I at first balked at a mystery series, I don't know why since I enjoyed Chas and Kyle's and Jon and Emory s books, but I'm glad that I read this this way. I can't wait to dive into the Holiday book and see how everyone celebrates the season

As with the other books in this series- there is so much packed effortlessly into the pages! New beginnings and wrapping old wounds, finding new family, becoming a family, and more. There is humor to balance the serious moments. And I love the birds! Savage and Sassy might be my favorite characters.

This author can do no wrong in my eyes. Every book she's written has me hooked from the first to last page. What a wonderful ending to a great series. And I've no doubt we haven't heard the last of them. Once you read the epilogue you'll understand why.

This is the 4th of 4 volumes to the series by this author. And, by now, you know the major characters. I thought I would be bored this far into the series. That was not the case.

I really loved this series. I really want to read more it that it's over. But seriously we need more of Gabriel and Josh since now there is babies involved please write more for the series.

Yes, this is a mystery. BUT it's the love and the laughs that make this 5-stars for me. This is NOT a standalone, go grab book 1 and get started!

I so want to rate this one higher because I really truly love Josh and Gabe but, unfortunately, this book didn't blow me away like the others in the series. It was a tad underwhelming actually and that's something I feel sad about. Yes, Josh and Gabe were great together but this was almost a little too sweet to me. What I Loved: I really love the characters in this series. Not only Josh and Gabe who I think make such a fun and sexy couple but also the secondary characters like Chaz and Kyle, Emory and Silver, Dorchester and Adrian. I even love Savage, the foul-mouthed bird. Josh and Gabe are extra sweet in this story, planning their future, their wedding and their new home. While they still steamed up my Kindle, it was a detour from the passion I felt from the previous books. Obviously, things are different now, they're more settled but at the same time I missed the drama and the intrigue. What I Liked: I'm glad to finally know what's happening with Chaz but I'm gonna admit I was kind of let down. It was a cute and entertaining secret but I was hoping for more. I was hoping for something more salacious. What I Didn't Like: As much as it pains me to say, I didn't like the fact that the story was lacking in good suspense. I loved the previous books because there was a whole lot of whodunnit going on and that combined with the witty banner and quips, as well as the sexy and passionate relationship between our MC's kept me hooked. I didn't feel that here and it was a let down. Overall, I found the story gave us closure to Josh and Gabe's story with a good idea of their Happily Ever After. At the same time we get hints at more books to come featuring other characters. I loved the whole series, I cannot select which part is better. They started like something impossible to ending as an example of love and loyalty. I'm going to miss them a lot!. They should be selected as the most romantic couple! The author dis an excellent job blending the romance with the mystery. If the book is good.. wait to listening with the master narrator voice of Joel Leslie, this guy genuinely did AGAIN an EXCELLENT JOB, he keep the audience satisfied with his voice and make me look for more books narrated by him. I could imagine both of them with his voice, superb!!!

I would suggest you read all the prior books in this series so you can follow their journey. As soon as Josh and Gabe get back from their vacation they are ready to start their lives together. They want to get married, buy a house and also have children. Their plans get put on hold when Emory has a promotion about something bad happening to Gabe. Josh tried not to let it get to him and focus on the wedding. Gabe and the police are still investigating the murder from the prior story and are trying to find a new lead when strange things start to happen again. by the end of the book all is put to rest. Josh is still fabulous and sassy and Gabe is still the level headed one. Their chemistry is still hot and their dirty talk makes me blush. I love how Josh and Gabe try to play match maker for their friends and I hope Aimee writes a story for at least the 2 other m/m couples in this story. We get to see how Gabe and Josh start their marriage and also Gabe gets a surprise I didn't see coming which really tied up more loose ends for me. The banter between these 2 made me laugh quite a but in this series and with the additional of another parrot and the words they teach her it was hysterical. I would suggest reading this series in order so you can get the full effect f Josh and Gabe's relationship. Reviewed for Alpha Book Club.

The Curl Up and Dye series is just fantastic. The characters are some of my favorites, and I’m utterly enraptured with Josh and Gabe, and their wonderful love story. This is the fourth book in the series, and it’s definitely not a stand-alone. In order to fully enjoy this book, you should read the first three books. Aimee Nicole Walker’s writing skills have definitely improved, and the writing was much smoother. However, Walker has always delivered a sizzling romance with snark and sass, and she does not disappoint on that front. Gabe and Josh are just as wonderful and delightful as I expected from previous books, and their love is so strong that I could just bask in it. I loved this book and highly recommend this series.

The struggle is real! That’s what Gabe can sing a song from these days, because if it rains it pours….. The, under normal circumstances, very laid back Detective Dirty Talker stumbles from one nightmare into the next, as if he wouldn’t have enough already on his agenda with making Josh his forever in a few weeks. The roles are reversed and for once Gabe is the one struggling and fighting with all kind of emotions, we only knew from Josh so far. I’ve been wondering for a while now at which point Aimee Nicole Walker would bring up Gabe’s past to bite him in the ass and therefore would say that she did an amazing job with keeping the reader on the edge with suspense. Life is not easy on Josh these days either, seeing his man struggle takes its toll on him and for once he has to be the strong one in their relationship. It was amazing to see Josh surprising everybody and his man the most, with being the laid back one this time and how far he had come since the very beginning. Instead of turning back into his old insecure, control freakish self, he refused to be the victim yet again and have faith in Gabe and their future. With not being prisoner to fear this time, Josh is ready to accept whatever life will throw at them and so much more. The last part of the book I’d call heavenly caveman style and therefore can’t wait for the story of Mr. Bestseller and Doc Paws…. I’m sad that Josh and Gabe’s story came to an end, but look forward to see hopefully more of them in the following books in the series. A big THANK YOU to Aimee Nicole Walker for a few hours of immense reading pleasure!

Big Daddy and Little Daddy are home! Josh and Gabe get their much deserved happily ever after. The fourth and final book in the saga of Josh and Gabe. *Cue tear of sadness.* I love these two soulmates. They have spark and sass. Okay, Josh has a monopoly on the sass, but Gabe thinks it’s adorable so it’s all good. As always, Aimee Nicole Walker presents us with a well-written story filled with true life characters and raw emotion. I Do, or Dye Trying has a little bit of everything: Suspense, romance, HAF love scenes, and a couple of foul-mouthed, scene stealing birds named Savage and Sassy. This book isn’t just about the wedding of the century. Josh and Gabe grow as a couple. Blood relatives and friends meld into one large hilariously loving family. It clears up all the unanswered questions from the previous books and we find out who is after Gabe. There might even be a hilarious bake-off or two instigated by a couple of troublemaking detectives. I love the way Josh and Gabe interact with the secondary characters. These “lessor” characters are extremely important. They add depth, humor, and unconditional love to an already heart-melting love story. This last installment gives us more insight into the relationships to come in spin off books such as: Kyle and Chaz and Emory and Johnathan. Savage and Sassy. OMG, that mating dance was the best, was it not faithful readers and Dye Hards? And don’t get me started on the epilogue…le sigh. This is not a stand-alone book. This series must be read in order. You can’t go wrong with this or any Aimee Nicole Walker book. I will now sit back and not so patiently wait for the release of Unscripted Love (aka Do Me Doctor Dimples, LOL.)

Well developed plot and characters with personality and depth. Josh and Gabe are perfect for each other. I sincerely enjoy how each facet of their personalities support and augment each other's. They are deeply and passionately in love and it is BELIEVABLE. It feels real. The romance feels epic and yet down to earth, which makes me envious of what they have--a sense of yearning for the fantastic ideal of romance, which is really the entire point of reading a romance novel to begin with--for me, at least. I read for escapism, and for a contemporary romance novel (and series) to grab and keep my attention, it has to be stellar. This book caps a fantastic series that I will come back to again and again. The fourth book in this series has the resolutions for the entire over-arcing story line, as well as smooth setups for what could be new main characters and pairs. The hint of paranormal was believable and not at all overdone. Each supporting character has depth and authenticity to their personalities. There are no overdone and stereotypical character tropes here--the author has made a sincere and earnest effort to make these characters into PEOPLE, and not mere plot devices. The pets are charming and sweet, too. One of the great things I've noticed about this series is that all of the books could be combined into one volume and read as a single book--(it is NOT a serial, all installments are full-length novels)--in terms of plot lines and events, excellent cohesion in world building and maintaining continuity. With each book this author releases, her craft improves, and I can say with firm conviction that Ms. Walker has earned her place in the romance genre.

I am now in the 4th book of this series and wasn't sure whether I would like them once I discovered they were a "continued" series. Mysteries are generally complete stories as far as I am concerned but this series has several plots going at the same time and so far at least one mystery is solved in each book which means you aren't completely left hanging. If you're going to do a continued series at least this is the way to do it. Kudos. Characters are interesting and believable and engaging and you know that their stories will be taken up somewhere in the future. My only real problem is that the main duo are toooooo sugary sweet. Almost makes my teeth hurt.

Finally Josh and Gabe made it down the isle and what a ride this has been. I have enjoyed every second of it and by the way this one left so many avenues open I have to assume there's more to come. What prevented the 4 star rating is the fact that it seemed to have more filler things rather than continuing the story-telling. Some of the fillers were pretty hilarious but the same thing repeated can get old especially when you're wondering about Chad or Emory. I can't wait to see what ANW has coming up next.

I am so happy I stuck with this series. It ended up being more enjoyable than I had anticipated. The book wouldn't be right without someone being killed or someone trying to kill them. But unlike the previous books where they mystery went hand in hand with the relationship, here it kind of takes a backseat and the story focuses more on these men and their relationship. This was a great ending for this couple who totally grew on me. They've had a lot of ups and downs but through all that their love for one another is what will stick with me. They have become one of my favorite couples I have read about so far this year. They were the perfect definition for the saying, Opposites Attract. Josh is flamboyant and can GNF of what you thin about him. He knows who he is and makes no apologies for it. Gabe is the Alpha male type with a soft side that he has no problem showing when it comes to loving Josh. He too is very confident in who he is and doesn't waste a minute concerned what others might think about him or the man he loves. They were just so good together and for one another. I am going to miss these men, but I know the author has plans for a Christmas book. I am totally thrilled that we will see some more of these boys in the future and hopefully in the spin-off series. Nice ending to the series. Enjoyed reading Gabes and Josh's story. The deserved a HEA and they get one. This book is mostly focused on them, their domestic bliss, their upcoming nuptials and their friends and family. There is also a nice big wrap up of all the mysteries from book 1 to this book. Nothing is left open except the blooming romances between Silver/Emory and Chaz/Kyle. Which I'm sure we will be getting spin-off of or at least hope for.

Once again Ms. Walker has taken us on a wild ride with the guys we love... Josh and Gabe. This was a fast paced conclusion with several loose ends being tied together. I found the Epilogue a little confusing with Bianca in it, since she's alive the last I knew. I see there will be a fifth book so we can follow the antics of Kyle and Chaz. Plus I want a HEA for Emory.

I have been reading Gabe and Josh since the very beginning. Following their mysteries and reveling in their suspense. Whether it's romantic suspense or other, it's thoroughly enjoyable. In I Do or Dye Trying we are coming to Josh and Gabe's conclusion in a sense. Though I think the author will be writing about other characters we've been seeing, for all intents and purposes Gabe and Josh are coming full circle. Loose ends are being tied and their future is an adventure waiting to happen. The banter in this book is probably my favorite part of it all. Josh is the king of snark but Gabe has learned well. I love Gabe and John's back and forth and Adrian's too. The wives rock and Meredith will forever be my queen! I've read everything Aimee Nicole Walker has ever written and I can say this series is probably my favorite and Josh is the best character she's ever written. I don't know how Aimee outlined this series but she nailed it. I didn't have questions afterward. Everything made sense and even in the heartbreak, there was sunshine. Namely, Josh. So many amazing things happen for these guys in this from weddings to birds to honeymoons and babies! It's a thrilling ride you have to start at the beginning. When you're done, do it all over again because it's that good!

This great series just kept growing and getting better. This is book four for Josh and Gabe, and has many hints for more to come with other characters. Gabe and Josh have a wedding to prepare for. We see all the awesome people, animals, and marvelous situations. Of course, the murder mystery is being investigated, there's a psychic, and a bad guy looking for revenge. So much is happening, and Josh and Gabe are as tight and close as ever. We see their hot sexiness, and all of the lovable, snarky, snazzy banter. We are reacquainted with the filthy mouth of Savage the bird, Gabe's German Sheppard, Diva the cat, etc.. Gabe is blindsided by a P.I. delivering a letter, and the shocking past murder revelation, shatter's Gabe. Plus there is the planning, the parents, the parties, the camaraderie, and the fierce friendships. I love these guys, loved this series, and look forward to more from this terrific author. We get fun, drama, intensity, sizzling sex, levity, and truly loving men. Highly recommended ! ENJOY =====================

Book #4 - awesome! I very much enjoyed the entire series - Gabriel and Jazz are adorable! I was lucky enough to read all 4 books within a week (this was my first experience with Amiee Nicole Walker, but it definitely won't be my last). Cool setting, great characters and a good story - what more can you ask for?

To say I am sad to finish this book and post this review is an understatement. I’ve enjoyed every single step of the journey I’ve shared with Gabe and Josh through their four books and I didn’t want it to end. These are two very special men with hearts as big as oceans and a lot of love for each other. They are hurtling toward the biggest day in both their lives, and in normal Gabe & Josh style, nothing is ever going to go smoothly. On the other hand, if it did, we’d have NO book to read! Challenges and adversity are what brought these two together, and they face what life throws at them head on. I love that the love they share grows with each and every page I turned, and that Gabe has taken a leaf out of Josh’s book and is rivalling him snark wise. Chuck in the ever hilarious Savage the potty mouthed parrot, who steals every scene he’s in, and you have a winning combination. I really, REALLY don’t want to give any spoilers for this book other than to say that it was the perfect ending to the series, but I would love to get a glimpse into their HEA.

This is book 4 of a series. If you have gotten this far then you already know that you love Josh and Gabe and you love this author's writing. No current new mysteries appear but we do get to 'wrap up' the previous mysteries. Josh and Gabe's love story is the important thing in this book. They are their usual loving and funny selves. I personally enjoyed how they have opened up their circle of friends more and more. I also loved that the sketches of each of the boys are back at the beginning of each chapter. Those drawings are.....mmmmm. Though this is book 4-4 in a series, I know we deserve to find out what happens with Kyle and Chaz as well as Jonathon and Emory. OH and btw, fans of this author will nod and smile when Gabe and Josh meet Ben and Xavier. Yep, THAT Ben and Xavier. (The Rhythm of Us, book 2 of the Fated Hearts series).

I don't know what to say.. This book is everything and more in Gabe & Josh's journey. Gabe & Josh are happy and fiancé. They prepare their wedding and plan their future together as husbands. But a threat hangs over their happily ever after. I loved this book, it's so far my favorite of the serie *for now*. We see how Josh & Gabe plan their futur together, how after everything they've been through, they remain stronger and more in love than ever. We see how their love for each other, help them individually. It's also the most emotionnal of the serie. I laughed and cried with them, my heart broke and healed with them too, and I sighed a lot. Yes sigh, you know when you read/hear/see something absolutely beautiful and you sigh full of hope that one day you will live the same thing ? ...That's what this book is for me. Sigh of joy, hope, happiness and love. Aimee Nicole Walker ended their beautiful adventure brilliantly. Come sigh with joy with me and read this book, no, read the whole series, you will not regret it

This review is really for all four books -- I read books 2,3 and 4 over the last three days, so they are like one big book in my mind. I loved everything about this series. All the characters were likable and I especially loved Gabe and Josh. They struck the perfect balance of humor, love and snark and all the little details, like the birds and Josh and Gabe's relationships with their friends and families, made the books even better. I can't think of anything I would have liked to be done differently and that doesn't happen very often with a book -- usually there are a least a couple of minor nit picky things I'd like to be different. I will say if you're looking for a gripping murder mystery you should probably look elsewhere -- the mysteries in the book were entertaining, but not very hard to figure out and not really a very big part of the book. It was definitely more romance than mystery.

I lovely wrap up for two unique and fun characters. I look forward to reading some of the spin-off books of their friends and hopefully seeing more insights to their life as things progress!

First, if you haven't read the first three books, stop now and go to book one and read your way through to this book, I Do or Dye Trying. You will not regret it!! Lots of love, sex, sass, and snark, although they are both a bit more mellow this go around. Gabe is a detective and Josh owns a beauty/spa salon. They just mesh together and their differences really solidify their relationship and makes them both better men. The first three books lead up to this moment and it is wonderful how it all came together. There is a fabulous cast of supporting characters and I'm hoping a couple of 'soon to be' couples in future books; the epilogue is unexpected and perfect. I have loved every book that I've read by Aimee Nicole Walker and this book and series is no exception. You truly cannot go wrong reading her books so don't miss this one!

LOVED! LOVED! LOVED IT!!! Aimee!!! GAH! I don't even know what to say. This series has me so consumed. I've read this in one sitting because I just could not bear to part with it for even a second. The ever growing love between Josh and Gabe. Be still my heart!! The friendship amongst the Sunday dinner crew. The secondary characters Kyle and Chaz, Emory and Jonathan. The damn birds. Love those little f***ers!! LOL. The beginning, the in between, the ending.....Ahhh! That ending! I loved everything about this book. EVERYTHING!! This author has some serious talent. Love her writing style. The emotions, passion and chemistry flow right off the pages. Josh and Gabe are scorching hot together. I am eagerly anticipating more from this author. I need more Josh and Gabe! I need Kyle and Chaz! I need Emory and Jonathan! I NEED, NEED, NEED MORE!!

I absolutely adore this series!! I can't get enough of Gabe and Josh. They are absolutely adorable together and I don't want their stories to end. The love they have for each other is just heartwarming and beautiful. I wish I lived in Blissville and was part of this group of fantastic characters. I can't wait to read more of Gabe, Josh, Chaz, Kyle, Mere, Emory and Jon. I am totally hooked and I can't recommend this series enough.

I have mixed feelings when Walker wraps up a mystery in the first couple chapters and then introduces a new one. It confuses me. However, I loved reading about Josh Nd Gabe’s wedding and home renovations. Good book!

This fourth book in the series is yet another entertaining read. Walker continues to give us more information to fall harder for Josh and Gabe. She also keeps constructing all the characters around them to build a great universe here. I am hoping for more books centered on Kyle and Chaz, Emory and Silver as well as more details about the other characters we've come to know and love. The mystery/suspense part of this one is not as intriguing as the first three books but it doesn't detract too much. There are a couple elements that are thrown out but never touched again which I always find irritating. I'm hoping it mean details will come in future books. This is a great series that you will not regret investing the time in!

The long awaited wrap to Josh and Gabe’s wedding is so worth the path that we get to follow. We got to watch Josh and Gabe grow so much in love that it just fell off the pages in pure bliss. I personally think that when you have comedy in any book then the reader should be informed before hand. I don’t think that my husband enjoyed being woke up at 2 a.m.! I couldn’t help it the funny just snuck right up on me! There is plenty of mystery and some scary moments so when you set down to enjoy this book, and you will enjoy, make sure you have snacks handy! This is not a stand alone, to totally enjoy you need to read from the first in the Curl Up and Dye Mysteries. Beautifully written Aimee!

...OTT innuendo in this, which spoiled the book. This book wraps up the romance between the leads, and that element is done in a way that I did like, with stuff being tied up in a pretty sweet start of a HEA. But, it's a tale that had so much filler-y stuff in it, that my mind boggled a bit and I lost track of the main themes that had been running through the previous books. I forgot completely about the deaths and if baddies were still out there, and who they might be - and when the baddie was introduced and conveniently overpowered and dealt with, it was anticlimactic and, apologies, the scene rang kind of faux. There's a talking bird that's been a large feature in the series, but then the leads add another and tbh, things descended into the farcical and the innuendo got crude, rather than funny. Yes, it's nice that the leads' parents were fully supportive of them, but for the life of me, I cannot fathom parents of roughly my mother's age repeating some of the MM innuendo and cackling over it. Stuff got tied up in this for the most, but there's scope for more tales connected to the series, as there were hints that one loner who arrived in town not so long ago might find happiness again and might or might not be quite who he seemed, and that one of the leads' BFFs might be finding his own HEA. But, it was all used a little too much as plants for future tales, rather than anything integral to the series, so it was a little irritating. The very final chapter of the ending, once I re-read it, became clear and it was kind of sweet in a way, but it was confusing and out of the blue - not sure what the author was aiming for with this, as she added an element of the paranormal to that had been an entirely contemp tale up until now. And, why introduce a character who'd never been in the tale, other than a brief passing mention? And, yes, sorry to go there, but there was filler in it. Quite a bit of filler to do with food and food cook-offs, bake-offs, and by introducing a would-be thief with a mother battling cancer, which was the reason for his thieving. This was not part of the tale, so I'm not sure why it needed to be dropped in. ARC received for my reading pleasure.

Big Daddy and Little Daddy finally say "I do." A lot happens in this one. There are new additions to the family and we finally get answers to some of the mysteries. The epilogue is very cute too.

Most series dwindle in excitement and originality as the series varies on this one just get better with better developed characters and more original love stories simply amazing this was the best one yet!!!! Please this is a must read!!

Reading the adventures of Josh and Gabe has been a pleasure! The two men are wonderful characters. There differences serve to make for wonderful stories and adventures. Josh is snarky, Gabe is serious, but together they're MAGIC. This book is about them finally taking the plunge! Heck even Savage gets a partner. Past problems come back to haunt them, but in true Josh and Gabe fashion, nothing is allowed to ruin what they have. The book was fun, dramatic, sad, happy and everywhere in between. The kicker at the end has me anxiously waiting for the next book! Oh, and I loved the heavenly epilogue.

I love this series but am very pleased with the Angels added in. There's nothing in any book so far that I dislike.

I can't get enough of this series! I love the snarkiness from both the MCs and the love they have for each other and their circle. I don't want this series to end! I've had so much fun reading these stories that I feel that I'm part of their lives. Aimee does such a great job of drawing you in and keeping you involved that I have a problem putting down the book to do my everyday stuff. Sometimes I speak and read in the closet, break room, and even in the bathroom just to get my fix and find out what happens next. Needless to say she is on my must read list.

I have been a fan of this series since I read the first chapter of the very first book! Obviously the feel of their relationship changes thru each book but each book has events happen, as well as Josh & Gabe's blossoming love, that keep you turning the pages until the end! And the best part of Aimee's writing is that she's very good at not keeping you waiting long for the next part of the series! I'm looking to see what happens with Josh & Gabe next, but I can't wait to see what else happens in their sleepy town!

I love, love, love this series. Aimee Nicole Walker is one of my go to romance writers. I have loved all 4 of these books and she has always delivered with great writing, longevity of a story line and keeps me turning page after page. I can't wait to see what happens with Gabe and Josh's romance. I have read all 4 from the beginning and if you love M/M romance and an excellent story line that carries for 4 + books- this is one to turn to. Ms Walker delivers the goods and makes me wait impatiently for the next installment!

Dear Ms Aimee Nicole, I love this story/saga romance between Josh & Gabe so much. It is so funny, it’s so well written, it has fun and dramatic elements: tying up loose dramatic ends, a wedding, crazy animals, zany sidekicks and sexy times. I love the guys!

I adore Josh and Gabe and this book was more than I could have ever asked for. Their love for each other, their families and friends is beautiful. This book made me laugh out loud and cry both happy and sad tears. Do yourself a favor and read this perfect series!

Squee! I got the end and saw the two grooms illustration and about died! So CUTE! *ahem* A terrific end to a fun series. All mysteries are solved, and the epilogue is something else.

Excellent Series!! Just discovered this author, and went back and added her other titles. Love the MC, human and non-human secondary characters. LOL, shed a tear or two, and just enjoyed the ride. I especially enjoyed how the "something" developed over the course of the 4 books, I don't like when the MCs jump right into the "r" word, and there is no conflict or struggle to get to the HEA. This book wraps up all the loose ends, and sets up more stories, (I hope).

I love their love!!! It's steady, strong, loyal, romantic, sexy, hysterically funny...what everyone in the world longs for...dreams of...writes for... As I said in previous reviews, I could read about them till they are old and in rockers. I hope it's not really the end....my heart will break. I actually put aside another series/ romance to have another piece of my favorite couple Joshua and Gabriel Roman-Wyatt

I want to start by saying that I loved the epilogue. This book was so good. I really enjoyed it. The characters will always remain in my heart. I love Josh & his sass & Gabe with his huge heart. The secondary characters are still fabulous and I can't wait for their stories. The birds are still hilarious. Very well done.

Savage and Sassy, They are just so awesome. and my favorite through this whole series. I want some birds like them. LOVE THIS BOOK, sad it came to an end. The epilogue was a perfect touch, you can't help but shed a happy tear because of the impact that part had. I love the romance plus mystery. I will recommend this series very much so.

This has to be one of the best series I have read in a while. I don’t typically read contemporary. I guess that is going to change.

A perfect ending for Josh and Gabe in the concluding story of their series. Any left open story plots from the previous books is closed by the end of this book. And I loved the afterlife scene with some deceased characters of the series overlooking the MC in their happily ever after.

The ending was such a delight and a surprise! I love this author and all the series that she writes but this one is my favorite. Josh and Gabe are my favorite characters. I fell in love with Josh's personality! This is a great series to read over and over on rainy or snowy days! Thank you Aimee

How weird would it be to have talking birds in every book? Seriously they provided some excellent entertainment. Josh and Gabe were so much fun to get to know and the plots were fun and fast paced.

Another book to dye for. The wonderful characters we all love with new adventures, even one for the bird. Not a book that could be put down, had to read it all the way through.

I've loved the series from the beginning and this book is no exception. Gabe and Josh are endearing as are their group of friends. The humorous foul mouthed bird(s) are comical. I'm hoping for Kyle and Chaz's story and Emory and Silver's. Can't wait for the next book to come.

For this series! All four books were so fun to read, Gabe and Josh are so stinking cute. Even the mysteries involved in the series were well developed and not put in as a second thought. Each character in the story helped make these books page turners.

What a wonderful way to bring this series involving Josh and Gabe to a big bang. Enjoyed this series from the first book and it hasn't let me down. Will we now get a spin-off story with Chaz and Kyle? I hope so!

You must read this series. I get so into Josh and Gabe that I forget they're fictional characters. The characters are wonderfully endearing and delightful. I hope to read more about Chaz. Kudos all around.

I've loved this series from the start Josh and Gabe are truly amazing and one of my favorite m/m stories. I'm really hoping for maybe a short story about Kyle and Chaz

Another fabulous book in this series. Be sure to read them in order or you'll be terribly confused. I rarely enjoy series that continue with the same couple but this series keeps you engaged.

I love to see Josh and Gabe get their happy ending. I would love to see a with Kyle and Chaz and Emory and Nate.

What an amazing end to the series!! The epilogue made me tear up, it was so perfect. I can't wait for the author's next series.

This book focuses on the marriage of Gabe and his Sunshine. They spend their time planning their wedding, redecorating and moving into their new home., and waiting for Jimmy DeSoto to show up as predicted by Emory. It was fun watching Gabe and Josh get their happily ever after. This book had no big mystery and my rating reflecting that.

I only kept reading to ascertain if the writing could became any more trite or plot more predictable. I know the author obviously has readers and a following, but all she has done for me is insure that being gay does not include taste in the package.

The series use to be fun to read. But Book 4 to me became to repeatative and dull and so sappy with the domestication I started to flip through the pages. I lost interest and put the book down.

What an amazing conclusion to Josh and Gabe. I don't know where to begin, the amazing wedding, the honeymoon or the secondary characters including the animals. It was brilliantly written and delivered and captivated me from page one to the epilogue. Well done Aimee

I had many laughed throughout the book will be reading more. Recommend it to anyone needing a lift. Give it a go.

The struggle is real! That’s what Gabe can sing a song from these days, because if it rains it pours….. The, under normal circumstances, very laid back Detective Dirty Talker stumbles from one nightmare into the next, as if he wouldn’t have enough already on his agenda with making Josh his forever in a few weeks. The roles are reversed and for once Gabe is the one struggling and fighting with all kind of emotions, we only knew from Josh so far. I’ve been wondering for a while now at which point Aimee Nicole Walker would bring up Gabe’s past to bite him in the ass and therefore would say that she did an amazing job with keeping the reader on the edge with suspense. Life is not easy on Josh these days either, seeing his man struggle takes its toll on him and for once he has to be the strong one in their relationship. It was amazing to see Josh surprising everybody and his man the most, with being the laid back one this time and how far he had come since the very beginning. Instead of turning back into his old insecure, control freakish self, he refused to be the victim yet again and have faith in Gabe and their future. With not being prisoner to fear this time, Josh is ready to accept whatever life will throw at them and so much more. The last part of the book I’d call heavenly caveman style and therefore can’t wait for the story of Mr. Bestseller and Doc Paws…. I’m sad that Josh and Gabe’s story came to an end, but look forward to see hopefully more of them in the following books in the series. A big THANK YOU to Aimee Nicole Walker for a few hours of immense reading pleasure!

I Do, or Dye Trying the fourth book in the Curl Up and Dye Mysteries series was a lovely, delightful story. That completely enthralled me. Even though there isn't much of a detective mystery to it. But, you do get to find out who is responsible for murdering Gabe's brother Dylan. And more importantly Gabe and Josh say I do, and I loved the build up to the big day. As well as the introduction of Gabe's biological family, and another pet who is appropriately called Sassy. And It was undeniably sweet, sexy, and fun to read. Which is why I can't wait to dive into the next book in the series. Would happily recommend.

Being back with gabe and josh in I do or dye trying was such a wonderful place to be I love how much stronger Gabe and josh's love is you cash feel from page to page I loved the next installment of there journey and how far they have come It feels like I'm side by side with them going through ups and downs its such a good feeling I loved the little twists and turns in there journey With Gabe and josh you are guaranteed fun laughter hotness seriousness and intensity I love Gabe and Josh I fell in live with them all over again they stole my heart I'm looking forward to what's up next

Aimee has done it again she has created an awesome story and its the best one of the series so far Josh and Gabe's latest trials are so overwhelming for them there love is tested like never before All our supporting characters return as well I loved this book so much made me laugh so hard and cry as well I only wish I could give more than 5 stars as it deserves so much more Aimee is an incredible writer she creates these characters that we fall in love with So well written I have no faults for this book If you love romance suspense twists then you will love this book

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and would give each book 10 stars if I could. Josh and Gabe are wonderful characters and have quickly become my joint favourite m/m couple (together with Jory and Sam from Mary Calmes' A Matter of Time series). I really hope that Aimee Nicole Walker writes at least one more book in this series as I'm far from ready to say goodbye to Josh and Gabe and would love to see how their lives change with their expanding family. I love the heat and passion between Josh and Gabe, but also the tenderness and romance. More please!!

The Sass the mystery the meeting the family, I loved everything about it, Josh and his skills at taking out the bad guys, Gabes sexiness and his ability at keeping Josh on his toes, I just loved it, I DO hope there is more to this series. I really dont know where to go now. Maybe IL Read it again.. and again and again, Aimee Nicole Walker Did NOT disappoint me at all. Thankyou..

This book was everything - brilliant, sweet, hot and hilarious. I need Savage and Sassy in my life - they're hysterical. If you haven't read this series yet, you're missing out.

Nothing seems to go smoothly for our two guys. Just as they think they're able to relax, something pops up to rock their world. I also wonder what the future holds this amazing group of friends

I have loved all four books in this series. Snarky, funny and endearing, I definitely hope that's not the end for our Curl Up and Dye pals, I would be happy to read about them and their expanding family & friends for quite a while

The guys finally got their wedding! But still have a bad guy on the loose trying to kill of one of them (no spoilers!).really wanted for the other couple to have a story too.
