My daughter has special needs and I knew that this would offer some benefits for her if she'd actually be interested in it (which I was concerned about). Turns out she loves it! I was shocked at how long it held her interest. She even paid attention to the affirmations on each page. She'd read it over and over as she was coloring. It helped her focus and she slowed down enough to pay attention to each color she used and then work on staying in the lines. I was so happy to see her excited about a 'project,' that I hang all the pages on the fridge. :)

This is a beautiful book full of positive affirmations and whimsical illustrations, designed to build confidence and self-esteem in young girls. It allows them to explore their imagination and encourages conversation with adults. Illustrations are full page and each bordered with a thin, black line. The stapled binding makes the book easier to lie flat, making it more comfortable for both left and right handed users. There is adequate space to allow for easy removal by removing the 2 staples, or using an exacto or pen knife down the center. The illustrations are of varying line sizes. The designs are detailed but not highly intricate, making this not too difficult for those with vision or dexterity issues. While this is heavier paper, images are still double-sided, making it impossible to use markers on this without the picture on the backside being damaged by bleed through. I recommend using colored pencils, pastels, crayons, and watercolor pencils, (if you use the water very sparingly). Test your gel pens first. Some do bleed through, but not most.

It has great little pictures that are relevant to the sayings on each page. Very positive book, more coloring books should be like this.

It is a coloring book with one short inspirational message on each page. The description of this book is very much overstated. While the messages are important to hear, I thought it would have more substance. No thought-provoking questions to ask yourself when you're feeling inadequacies, no advice on how build up your confidence or help your friends. My daughter always hears positive messages, coloring the words isn't all that thought-provoking or profound.

I love this coloring book! I wish they had stuff like this when I was a kid. I’m giving this to my niece for her fifth birthday. It’s a wee bit narrower than a piece of paper and about a 1/2 inch longer than a piece of paper. The book has tons of different I am statements. Just a few: I am Intelligent, I am Tenacious, I am Capable, I am Creative etc. The designs around the statements are spread out - not jammed together and not itty bitty. There is space to write things or add your own flare. Very appropriate for a five year old girl. Can’t wait to see her face when she gets it.

I provide different coloring sheets to my class of 5th grade girls which they really like. I provided these yesterday at the end of class and they squealed in delight! As we went through the pages of positive affirmations, written in first person tense as a preview, their confidence grew on their smiling faces as they took turns reading each page announcing “I am confident”, I am capable, I am intelligent, I am kind, I am inventive” etc. Lovely to see. Recommended improvement would be perforated pages and printing on one side versus back to back in case markers bleed through. I plan to look at other options from Hopscotch Girls and hope they have or create coloring books on STEM activities for girls so they can expand their horizons thinking about what they like to do and the career possibilities stemming (pardon the pun) from developing those skills. Very happy with this purchase and the timely delivery. Thank you

The pictures on here are so nice I mistakenly assumed the pages would be one-sided so you could color each picture with confidence the colors wouldn't bleed. There are also very few pages--only 22 pictures. I don't think it was worth the price. I bought it for a Christmas gift for a needy 9-year-old girl who wanted a coloring book and nice pencils. Thankfully I bought a couple coloring books. I haven't decided if I'll return this one or give it to her.

Not as nice as I thought for the price. The pages are not as filled as it looks on the cover I would not recommend I got it for my 5 year old but there is not 22 pages and they are back to back so.... don’t color with marker it will soak through

While this produce sends a great message, it is not worth the amount charged. I bought this for my little sister, because I loved the message it sent. However, 22 pages total is not worth it.

This coloring book is about 1/4 of the size of other coloring books for children, and adults, in this price range. There are 22 coloring pages, but the pages are front to back so 11 pages total plus ther cover page. Which means there are 12 pieces of paper that make up this whole book. For that I feel this is way over priced. Now, my issue with the pages being front to back is if she uses markers to color, the other page will get ruined. One of the reasons I purchased this was so she can decorate her wall with pictures she colored with positive messages, but if she hangs one side you can't see the other side. The pages themselves are good quality and the simple art work doesn't outshine the positive yet simple message. I don't dislike the book, just disappointed in the layout and size. It would have been better if there were 22 one sided pages. If I were to pick this up in a store I never would have purchased it.

Not exciting for children to color . Wonderful for a 10 or older girls who is still into art, coloring, and needs a boost of self esteem ! I got it for my almost five grand daughter and although she colored some, she has no idea what half of the words mean.

You must embrace the experiences of your life — the good ones, the bad ones, the shameful ones, the right ones, the wrong ones, the happy ones, and the sad ones — and stop running from your past if you want God to use it for good Don’t run away from your past! Because of pain, many people deny their past, ignore their past, discount their past, regret their past, or resent their past. They revise their past and make up stories because they’re happier dealing with the lie than the pain of the past. But if you’re in denial, God can’t use your experience for good. God can use every experience in your life for good, but you’ve got to stop running from those experiences. You have to embrace them. Maybe your parents weren’t that great, maybe you weren’t that hot in school, maybe you weren’t the football captain or the prom queen — so what? They’re your experiences. Own them. Stop pushing the bad experiences out of your mind. You’ve got to remember them. Deuteronomy 11:2 says, “Remember today what you have learned about the Lord through your experiences with him” . That verse is saying that the important thing is to remember the lessons. To remember what you’ve learned about God, keep a journal. Then you can look back and remember what God taught you so you can be encouraged. ;~PB

My five year old who loves books and color has been drawing on her princess coloring books and frankly I've been very much hoping she'd outgrow liking them, so when she didn't I wanted to find her another book that would be great for coloring, keeping her busy, give her positive messages without just pretty images of women in nice dresses. At first she thought it wasn't pretty enough, so we looked at each page and read the message, with the images all around such as "I am bright" with fire and light bulbs, etc, "I am kind" with hand holding, so we are talking about spelling, the idea of the quality and the attributes as well. Pretty sweet book!

Bought a couple of these books as Christmas gifts. They are amazing. The girls really enjoyed them. Great idea for the young girls.

Great images and good message. The problem is There’s not a lot of it. See photo. So it’s a very very thin book for the price.

This was purchased as a gift for a little seven year old friend. She loves it. I confess, I want to get one for myself! Each page is jam packed with encouragement and words for building self esteem. They are depicted in such a way as to enable one to color just a little or a lot. Each page is a complete picture composed of smaller complete pictures. Coloring these pages should leave any little girl, or grown woman, feeling elated! Some reviews remarked that the book had few pages. Yes, it is a slim book, but to me, worth every penny! I will definitely buy more of these books for other little girls in my life. Received quickly and in perfect condition.

Would have given a 5 star but the coloring book is pretty thin on the other hand, a very positive gift for girls. The journal is pretty darn nice and the whole set is very wonderful for girls My great gran-daughter is 7 1/2 just wrote her first book with words and pictures she drew it's about 15 pages and I am very impressed. She reads 2 classes above 2nd grade.She apparently has a gift for writing I'm a proud great gran-nana. LOL ( Sorry but I just had to brag but this is perfect for girls to help help develop a positive attitude )

In a society of pushing good self-esteem and reinforcing how smart, creative, humorous and beautiful our girls are, this was was certainly reinforcing that! The book was made of heavy weight paper stock which I loved. None of my little artists instruments bled through. These pages can be used easily for displaying. However, there are only 12 pages in the book and they are back-to-back. Making there be 24 pages.

Beautiful artwork and sayings. Purchased as a gift for my nieces. My sister wants them to wait until they are a little older (currently 4 and 7) to colo them so that they can really appreciate what it says.

I bought this for my pre-teen nieces! I helped color with them and we talked about each work and what it means and the be mindful. Then one of my nieces helped a older girl in the bathroom who was crying she was sick my niece hugged her and helped her clean up and when to get a school nurse. I am so proud of her!

The coloring pages are very cute but the book itself is poorly made. Several of the pages were stuck together and had to be cut apart at the top. I wouldn’t purchase again.

My daughters school was having an online book fair with Scholastic. Their website kept having issues and I finally gave up. I cam on here and found the books priced the same or less on Amazon and arrived a lot quicker with prime. She really enjoyed this coloring book and it was such a positive book to continue to teach her to be strong and love who she is.

This is a MUST for every young girl out there! It's a beautiful coloring book encouraging your young girl about her worth and her inside beauty. My granddaughters love this book. They are 4 and 7 and really take their time to make it pretty. We went over three book together first and read all the self affirmations first. They will love it!

Well done! I'm actually going to buy another one for myself. This is great for adult women as well as young girls. It's very important to remember these daily affirmations, and in fact it is recommended by psychologists to review these on a daily basis when you're feeling kind of down or out of sorts. If there's not already an "adult coloring book" like this, there should be. My 5 year old niece will really enjoy this too.

I got this for my 8 year old niece for Christmas and she thought it was cute, as did I!!! When it got delivered to me, I skimmed through the pages and I thought it was so cute and an amazing thing for young kids to see while coloring. She’s hitting the age where self esteem starts to become an issue and she’ll start to question a lot of things about herself so I thought the positive affirmations on every page of this book was such a great idea and could help her in so many ways. I wish I saw more of this before I paid attention to my looks and such!!! Would 100% buy again, and I encourage even teens and early adulthood to buy this too! It’s a great reminder and also great when you just want to color (I know many people use coloring as therapy!!)

My niece is 33 years-old and illiterate, with zero self-confidence due to abhorrent neglect and abuse. A gifted artist, I purchased this special *Confidence Booster* along with markers, bright pencils, crayons, and a 'Leapfrog RockIt' for her birthday (all from Amazon). What a special day, indeed. This order delivered so quickly, one would think that I paid for overnight shipping! And right on my niece's birthday! Thank you so much!

I’m giving this 3 stars because my daughter loves it and has been coloring in it non stop. That said, I was disappointed. There are not many coloring pages and each page contains one inspirational word, not even a message. It’s not very much for the price.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She like most girls her age (10) are going through that awkard phase and she loves art so I thought this would be a cool way for her to empower herself while enjoying her art. I wrote a note in the front of the book so I hope she enjoys it. Great price and cute book!

I got this as a gift for my little sister! I can’t see her during this COVID-19, I knew she was bored, and a little stressed out! She’s 11 so she loves to color, but feel like an adult and not color baby coloring books! This was perfect for just that ! Great quality and lots of pages ! Purchased for my 10 year old foster daughter. She and I color a page together each night. It’s a great conversation starter about self esteem, self worth and empowerment of others. Empowering and great teaching tool!

I have seven great nieces and I am giving this book to each of them to promote feminist values and ways to view themselves as more than just pretty faces so they can be prepared for the world ahead of them.

What a wonderful coloring book for girls of all ages. I bought this for my six-year-old daughter who loves Crafts and art, but I could see it easily being a gift for an older girl too. Each page has a beautiful and positive message. Paper quality was great and will hold up well to markers. I’d love to see more of this type of kid-friendly product in the market. Kids need to hear more of these positive and inspiring messages!

Very good coloring book! There are not very many pages in this book, but I was aware of that before I ordered it. I absolutely LOVE the quotes in this book! Children can never hear these too much! Other than the fact it was a much thinner coloring book than normal especially for the money. The actual coloring pages were thick & great quality. I would buy this again if the cost were a little less without losing the quality.

Got these for my young nieces, ages 4 & 6. Really cute coloring book, not a lot of pages but that's not a deal breaker for me. Thinking about getting one for myself because who can't use positive affirmations in they're life. Super cute girls coloring book. For use with fine tipped instruments like colored pencils or gel pens. These are cute, fun, and inspiring but not impossible to Complete. My 7 year old loves them.

Beautiful statements that help young girls feel good about themselves and gives them confidence in who they are. Perfect coloring pictures for my granddaughter turning six with awesome positive thoughts to go with them! Now a days, we can use all the help that we can find to raise healthy youngsters, like they say, it takes a village. This is part of the village.

I got these for my granddaughters, ages 7 & 9. Both were very excited to see that each coloring page had a different message and had quite a conversation about being brave and beautiful while they were coloring. They have both been bullied a bit but they also have a tendency to be unkind - this book was a really good reminder of all of the amazing aspects of themselves that they can be proud of!

This is the 3rd one of these I've purchased and they changed it as now it is very thin and not nearly as nice as the previous ones. Worth $2 but definitely not 10!

Ordered this for my 7 year old but could be given to a younger/older girl. Great messages/sayings on each page with words and pictures to color. Others made comments about how cute of a coloring book it was and they had girls in mind to gift this too. Would recommend and order again!

This is a great coloring book for all ages. My youngest granddaughter is seven and the oldest is 19. What a wonderful way to promote a positive attitude about yourself. I gave it 4 stars and not 5 because there are only 23 pages and I wish there were more. I’m looking forward to giving them at Christmas

I have five children (four of which are now adult) and I got this for my eight-year-old. In my 26 years as a parent, this is the best coloring book I have ever purchased for my kids. My little girl loves it! It is encouraging and empowering and really well done.

It’s a decent coloring book with inspirational messages as described. I was disappointed in the delivery, however, as it was rolled in half. The envelope was even big enough to fit the book laying flat, but they bent it before inserting into the envelope. I received it in less that desirable conditions, but I really didn’t have any other option but to go ahead and keep it for my daughter’s Easter basket.

Thick pages suitable for crayons, pencils or markers. Images are complex enough for teens, but also suitable for younger artists.

My best friend's daughter is starting kindergarten, and I wanted to get her a special coloring book as a gift. This coloring book is AWESOME. Each page has an inspiring phrase to grow a little girl's confidence, which I could not support more. I think I will buy more of these to give as gifts to the daughters of my friends. I purchased this as a gift for a young cousin. It seems great for building self-esteem, encouraging interest in science and other areas, and all in an entertaining way. It's all about coloring fun pictures, not being lectured to. I think it will be perfect for her age and interests, and a fun summer activity!

This is such a wonderful coloring book. Great for beginning readers with inspiring affirmations and great pictures to color. I love that the entire book is girl focused and clearly a lot of effort was put into pictures that would capture the spirit of a capable, strong, brave, independent little girl. My 7 year old noticed there are no boys in any of the pictures and it's clear this is very empowering for her.

This was a birthday gift to my daughter for her birthday. She loves these kinds of coloring books. She really liked the sayings. It made her color certain pages and give them to people in her family that needed some words of encouragement.

What good thing is there not to write about this coloring book? IT IS BEAUTIFUL. I got it for my niece for her 9th birthday, and turns out her mom actually bought her the same one (she colored one with colors and one with markers lol). I can’t wait till my daughter is older to buy her this as well.

I couldnt take a picture of the pages since this is a gift. I ordered this book for a 9 years old girl who is struggling with self acceptance since in her eyes shes not as pretty and skinny as her friends. From what I'm told the affirmations has helped tremendously with being kinder to herself.

I got this coloring book for my niece when quarantine first started and it was about to be her birthday, but sadly we couldn’t all gather for it. I got myself a copy as well and some colored pencils for both of us as a birthday present and we have been video chatting once a week or so to show each other the pages we’ve colored. My niece is 8 and she LOVES this book, it’s super cute and fun for young girls of any age. Messages that focus on intelligence and being yourself are so important when growing up. I highly recommend purchasing!

This is a great coloring book for a young girl. The pictures are cute and each page is printed nicely. I wouldn't recommend markers as they will bleed through to the next page. Hopefully next one will have one picture per page with the other side blank.

The title of this caught my eye and she seemed to like the book. Of course she didn't have a lot of time to color while she was here, but I know she loved the illustrations.

7 year olds birthday gift. She loves it, she loves the phrases, she loves the pictures. There is not too much going on in the pictures to distract or bore your daughter. You can color a lot or just a little as there are many small pictures on each page. We color together. Great book.

The pages are cute but I would not recommend using markers/felt pens because the pages seem pretty thin. Plus, it says 22+ pages but it literally has 22 pages to colour (plus the first page inside with its title and on the back a few nice words. Really unfortunate, would've expected more.

This is a great book for my students however the size is odd which is going to make it difficult to staple or tape the originals into journals or books that are standard sizes.

Bought for my granddaughter while they stayed with me after Hurricane Laura kicked them from their home. She loves to color and this was a color book she loved to color in.

I bought this for my granddaughter when she comes to visit. Last time she had a friend over and they both chose the page they wanted to color and then took it home. I like that it's positive and the pictures are interesting to color.

For the price I thought this book would have more pages. The book only has 11 pages which isn’t worth the price I paid. I was very disappointed, so I’m returning.

My granddaughter loved this. She is 9 years old. She doesn’t care much for straight forward coloring but loves these doodle type coloring book. Maw maw liked it because it also offers tidbits of inspirational sayings or quotes.

I don’t know why I thought this book would be a thicker coloring book. Probably because I paid $6 for a book I could of bought for .50 at the dollar store.

Not at all what I expected. It's only about 20 pages, and so is super thin. Way overpriced for a coloring book that's thinner than books you can get at the Dollar Tree.

Such an inspirational gift for my niece. She loved it. It took a lot of strength for me not to start coloring it myself as I love to color.

It is perfect for my 6 year old. I have adult coloring books that are too tedious and this one had the perfect size objects in each page. The message was nice and it was fun to color... even ditched my book to color with her.

This was the perfect gift for my daughters birthday. She is 8 and she was so excited. It's a little more advanced coloring than a coloring book and I think for her age she enjoys it more than a character coloring book. It gives positive quotes which also help a ton

I got this for my 5 and 7 year old girls. They love it. The only reason it’s getting 4 instead of 5 stars is that I wish it was only one per sheet and perforated. My daughters really wanted to color with markers on them but the paper is thin so it would bleed through.

This is really great. I bought one for my goddaughter. She is six and she loves it! It was such a hit I bought another one for a friend's little girl. The coloring book has a great message for girls and women of all ages!

I did not care for this book and my daughter had no interest in it. It's filled with repetitive words and pictures to color. In my opinion, just an expensive coloring book with really nothing more than pictures of fairies, unicorns, crowns, ballet shoes, and not many words. Would not buy again.

I ordered this as gifts for my 2 nieces (Ages 5 & 7). It may have been a little bit challenging for the five year old since it’s more intricate than a traditional children’s coloring book, but she did pretty well with it. It has simple yet important messages on each page that encourage self-esteem. With fun illustrations and good overall quality, I think this is a great product for girls. Depending on skill level, I’d say this is good for girls ages 6-11.

My little Granddaughter loved this and as a grandparent I don’t think we can overstate the affects of positivity with our little ones..

Brought this for a friend's daughter and she loved it. It is filled with encouraging words and the perfect coloring book between a kid and an adult.

This coloring book is lovely – the message and drawings are great! My only complaints are that the pages are double sided and not pre-cut for easy removal.

I love the idea behind this diary! The pages in the book are well done with prompts that are suitable for multi-age groups. However, I gave this 2 stars because it doesn't lay flat when you are trying to doodle in it. I am very disappointed and not sure that my 8 year old will be able to successfully be able to apply pressure to hold the pages down while she is painting, drawing, etc.

I loved the graphics of this coloring book: lots of different kinds of pictures, all simply done. It is not just pictures of princesses and unicorns but also of girls doing science, sports, math; becoming ballerinas or farmers or astronauts; being kind and sincere, intelligent, and tenacious. The message in these images help girls expand their world and futures. I bought three for my great nieces, and I'm looking for something similar for my great nephews.

My daughter is 28 yet she's disabled. She's to advanced for kids coloring books and adult ones are sometimes small and confusing. These pictures are going to be fun for her to color. I bought the 30 pk of glitter gel pens to use in it.

I love this coloring book!! But found out the hard way, do not use sharpie markers with this book, it will show through on the other side. I did find a set of crayola markers that work great.

I spent time reading the book/coloring book and knew that I had made a very good purchase. I purchased two books for two special girls and they both have found a lot of support and kindness towards their feelings and thoughts. Really enjoyed watching their response to each page and feeling better about their decisions to be their selves. We need more literature age appropriate for young girls growing up in a conflicting culture.

Short book, she wasn't really interested in it. The chemical used to make the book and pages glossy stinks a lot! It was read once, then left to air out!
