Savannah Martin has always been a good girl, doing what was expected and fully expecting life to fall into place in its turn. But when her perfect husband turns out to be a lying, cheating slimeball—and bad in bed to boot—Savannah kicks the jerk to the curb and embarks on life on her own terms. With a new apartment, a new career, and a brand new outlook on life, she’s all set to take the world by storm.
If only the world would stop throwing her curveballs...
The end is near.
The end of Savannah’s pregnancy, that is. Less than a month to go, and she’ll be the mother of what will surely be the most adorable baby boy or baby girl in the world.
But before that, there’s Thanksgiving with the Martins to get through. Not to mention a little spot of murder at the group home where Mrs. Jenkins, Savannah’s grandmother-in-law, lives.
A spot of murder that leaves Mrs. Jenkins covered in blood, and with no memory of who else might have hurt night nurse Julia Poole.
With Savannah’s friend, homicide detective Tamara Grimaldi, investigating, and Savannah’s husband Rafe insisting that the detective can’t find out about Mrs. Jenkins’s involvement, in case she doesn’t share his rock-solid belief that Mrs. Jenkins would never kill anyone, Savannah’s caught between a rock and a hard place.
Can she help Mrs. Jenkins figure out the truth before Detective Grimaldi throws them both in prison... or before the real murderer comes back to finish the job?
“I have loved this series since book one and have enjoyed being along for the ride as Savannah has grown from the princess on the hill who tried to live up to her mother’s outdated expectations into a strong woman who stands up for her own beliefs and the man she loves. Jenna Bennett has tackled a sensitive subject with honesty, Southern charm, and laugh out loud humor. And the series keeps getting better. I can’t wait for the next one.” Amazon Reviewer Karli

Excellent
Excellent as are all the others, just hope this isn't the final one!
Five Stars
Couldn't wait for this to come out - any more sometime soon??
Five Stars
Good now just waiting for the next one
Good story
Home Stretch is another easy read in the Savannah Martin series. The only disappointing part of the series is knowing you have to wait for the next book to be finished.
Great characters, good mysteries
Another of my go to series. Great characters, good mysteries.
a good read for fans of previous novels
#15 in the series....a good read for fans of previous novels.
Disappointing
I have enjoyed all of Rafe's and Savannah's stories , all fourteen of them, but this one has left me so disappointed. Mostly recapping of the other books with the exception of the birth of the little girl. I agree with one of the reviewers, Shoe Lover who would like to see this series wrapped up. It was a great ride but it should end gracefully!!
This is one of the BEST Cozy Mystery series out there!
This is book #15 in the Savannah Martin series and it is one of the best! It takes place around Thanksgiving. Rafe's grandmother shows up at their house in the middle of the night with blood on her clothes. She has dementia and can't remember what happened. Rafe & Savannah get to work solving the crime. It is a very exciting cozy mystery with some twists especially with the family! Plus Rafe & Savannah ' s baby arrives!! It is what we have all been waiting for! This is one of the best series I have ever read!
Fun, enjoyable, fast, well written read
The best part about this book was witnessing the character growth that has happened in 15 books. So many relationships have grown, shifted, and intertwined in such an endearing way. While the mystery itself in this book was fairly predictable, it was still a fun, enjoyable, fast, well written read.
Another excellent read
Books by this author always please me . I love this series and enjoy finding out what surprises Jenna Bennett will spring on me in each new installment of Rafe and Savannah 's life.
I thought it was great but I hope this is not the end of ...
I thought it was great but I hope this is not the end of the series. I have enjoyed every book and hope she will continue. Thank you for such good entertainment.
Loads of Fun
All of the books are fun to read. It is great to read them in order. Enjoy.
At Last!
I was nearly as impatient for her baby to be born as Savannah was. There was a lot of excitement first, most of it around Rafe's grandmother. Secrets are revealed.
Fantastic series. I didn't want it to end
Fantastic series. I didn't want it to end ! Brilliant plots and style of writing, always had you wanting more. Definitely recommend this series if you love a good read.
My favourite book series and this one didn't let it down
I really enjoyed this book but I loved the series from book 1. You get to know the characters worth a read.
Home Stretch
Another great book in the series, well worth reading
Outstanding ❤️🎈🎈
Loved it❤️❤️❤️ It was so exciting and touching. Can't wait for the next one!!
Savannah Martin Series is the Best!
I am so addicted to these books! I adore Savannah and Rafe!!!!
Home Run!
Good read. Definitely need to read the entire series. They are all good books. Always looking forward to the next book. I do wished they were longer but it leaves you wanting more! Love this Arthur. You can tell she has a passion to write.
Four Stars
I have enjoyed all the Savanah Martin books and this one does not disappoint. Great read!
Fantastic Series
If you like a romantic mystery then this series is for you. The books are so good! Cant wait till the next one comes out!
Lots of twists and turns and surprises! Great book!
I loved this book. I could not wait for this book to arrive on my Kindle and I was not disappointed. Savannah, Rafe, Mrs. Jenkins, Savannah's mother, Darcy, Dix, Tammy, Audrey, they are all back to continue Savannah's story. Savannah is in her ninth month and looks out the window and lo and behold, Rafe's grandmother is outside, wet and with blood on her. They must find out what happened as they are worried the elderly woman with memory issues will be blamed for a crime. What they uncover is just nothing that I would have thought of at the onset of the story. A clever and interesting plot. Also, there is the story of Audrey and Savannah's mother and their rift. I was just flabbergasted by the next surprise in the story which I will not give away. And--the baby, also which I will not give away. A masterful plot and a story I which I wish could keep I going on as Savannah and her family always entertain. Highly recommended!
Finally!
Great story! So glad Savannah finally had the baby, but I still want more of Savannah's (mis?)adventures! No matter how slowly I try to read these books, I always end up burning through them and wanting more.
Five Stars
Totally love Savannah Martin
Easy read but entertaining
Love This series
It's About Time!
I love the adventures of Savannah and Rafe. I hope her mind is still tuned to murder while she raises her daughter.
Absolutely fantastic
I could not put this book down. As with all the Savannah Martin books it was wonderful. I can't wait for the next book.
Start with the first issue. You will not be disappointed.
This story was as great as her other books in this series.
Satisfying and thrilling!
Another good book in this great series. Jenna Bennett delivers another mystery with twists and turns along with further character development. A satisfying installment that leaves you hoping for more books in this series.
Continues to be a favorite series. I always look forward to the next ...
Continues to be a favorite series. I always look forward to the next book and they have never disappointed me. This author does a great job of keeping the story and relationships fresh.
Loved it!
Such a fun series, and so many secrets revealed in this one! Murder, mystery, suspense, sexy tbi agents, seriously pregnant ladies, and wandering grandmothers make for a fun, quick, read!
Fun, fast read.
Love the author's descriptions of the characters and the way she immediately immerses the reader in the story. Hard to put the book down once you get started.
Another great one
I have read the whole series , more than once, and love it. So excited about the new baby. Can't wait for more!
Another homerun!
I love the Savannah Martin series. I read the first book a year after it came out, and I was instantly hooked. The characters are relatible and interesting. I usually read each book in one sitting because I just can't put them down!
Savannah and Rafe Are the Best!!
The best yet. Love Savannah and Rafe. They have the best life story. Can't wait until the next one!!
Great mystery
Great characters with developing lives. However could be read as stand alone book. Entertaining to the last word.highly recommend the series.
Finally baby arrives!!
Loved it as usual!! Recommend it to all! Love the characters, and now a new addition to the family Tree
Great series
This book is an excellent read as is the series. I can't wait for the next one. Read the first one in the series and your hooked. Don't miss a great story adventure.
Good installment to the series.
Great mystery and wonderful characters. Love this series. Feel like I know the characters personally.
Love
I love this series. I love Savannah and Rafe, they seem like they should be my family. Please don't ever stop writing about them! I'd be lost without them.
Loved it
Love this series and have been following Savannah and Rafe story from the beginning. So many bumps in the road, but each time they get closer. Definitely worth reading.
Loose ends tied up!
Can't wait for the continuation of Rafes and Savannas story. Characters are great, lots of humor. Fun story and a good mystery.
Love this series!
I never want the stories to end. I am invested in the lives of this family and find them relatable.
I love this series
I absolutely love this book and the entire series. I always look forward to their release, and read through it very quickly - they have all been very hard to put down. Now I'm disappointed that it's over and will have to wait for the next book in the series .... is there going to be a next book in this series?
Good read
Entertaining and humorous. Characters storyline of previous books seamlessly matched. Momentum is kept upbeat and to the point. Good read
Savannah and Rafe. Do it again
Loved the story and how it played out. Hardly wait for the next book to see what kind of trouble they get up to
The book we have been waiting for!!
It was with great satisfaction that I finished this book. Why? Because Savannah and Rafe FINALLY have that baby we have been waiting for so long. After saying that, I should definitely tell you that this is a series that MUST be read in order. It is simply too complicated to explain every detail that has happened in the past to Savannah in order for you to understand this book. So start at the beginning and read them all in order! Rafe's grandmother arrives at their home in the middle of a rainy night, covered with blood. The nursing home doesn't even know she is missing! How did she cover the fifteen miles in the middle of the night? Who's blood is it? None of these answers will come from Mrs. Jenkins who is suffering from dementia and confusion. It is up to Rafe to figure it out and for Savannah to keep a close eye on Mrs. J, so she doesn't wander off again. With only three more weeks until her due date, Savannah is content to trying to keep Mrs. J happy, fed, and in sight. Only that is a lot harder than it sounds! Once again Ms Bennett has woven mystery into the Collier's life and it impacts everyone around them. From the detective to Savannah's complete family, it takes them all to solve the mystery and keep Savannah safe. These character's personalities and behaviors are so real after 14 other books, that it is a little like being with old friends. The book is fast paced and enjoyable from beginning to the very end.
Murder, mystery and a new baby
I love this series, following Savannah and Rafe, along with Margaret Anne, Audrey, Sheriff Bob, Darcy, Dix, Catherine, the kids and who can forget Detective Tamara Grimaldi. This book was written with a sense of humor, I mean really, who wouldn’t suspect nine months had passed and a baby was probably going to be coming before the end of the book. The way Ms. Bennett describes Savannah’s pregnancy if you have ever had a baby you start shaking your head, omg I remember that. Mrs. Jenkins, Rafe’s grandmother arrives in the middle of the night, soaking wet and covered in blood. After Savannah checks her all over and finds no sign of any injuries she is tucked away for the night. Savannah wants to contact Detective Grimaldi and for some reason Rafe is holding back. Could Mrs. Jenkins be involved with the murder of Nurse Julia Poole? The plot continues with another killing of the Doctor at the retirement facility and Savannah watching over Mrs. Jenkins. As you remember there was a surprise in the last story regarding Audrey and Margaret Ann, be prepared to see even more surprises in this book. All too soon the story ends, really leaving you saying hurry up Ms. Bennett and write the next book.
I adore this series, I love this book!
She has done it again, Jenna Bennett captured me from the beginning of Home Stretch and refused to let me go until the end, not that I was fighting the draw to read one of my favorite series from beginning to end! I adore Rafe and Savannah and most of their friends and it was interesting have Rafe grandmother with us throughout the book. She is such a sweetie whether her mind is at peak, seldom, or if she is lost in time as usual. Seeing Savannah and others working with Mrs. Jenkins was wonderful. What isn't wonderful is seeing her covered with blood and watching Rafe's fear that someone might think that the dementia plague woman might be accused of murder and might be put in a place where should would be miserable. His law enforcement license could be jeopardized if he withholds evidence but he would sacrifice anything for three people, Savannah, David, and Mrs. Jenkins. When part of the action shifts to Sweetwater, Savannah is concerned about how her move will react to an uninvited guest. So much happens that pieces of several lives in Sweetwater are altered for good or for ill. I am ready to preorder the next book in the series!
Baby's Here!
I love this series and looked forward to the birth of Rafe and Savannah's child. I was not disappointed and felt the whole "in labor" part was really hilarious. The new twist with Mrs Jenkins was interesting and if it was hinted at in previous stories, I completely missed them. So, this relationship between Mrs Jenkins and Savannah's mother's friend was a surprise. Wonder where that will go? My only complaint is the chemistry between Rafe and Savannah didn't feel the same - I get she's at the end of her pregnancy and doesn't feel sexy, but I had a hard time believing that Rafe would leave her alone so much to take care of Mrs Jenkins - I felt he would stay close and, if anything, hover over his concern for Savannah. Especially leaving her in the backseat of a car she couldn't get out of. Just a thought since I've read each book and that just didn't make sense. Still worthy of a 5 star because the author still tells a good story and I love the characters.
The baby bump
It's the home stretch for Savannah, whose baby is due in three weeks. Then Mrs. Jenkins shows up at the house on Potsdam in the middle of the night, soaking wet and covered in blood. Once again, Savannah finds herself in the middle of a murder investigation, even while sidelined looking after Rafe's grandmother. And when the murderer discovers Mrs. J. survived the attempt on her life, Mrs. J. isn't the only one in danger. This is a great addition to the series that so far covers only a little more than a year in the life of Savannah Martin Collier. I am so glad to have been along for the journey and look forward to the next release.
Home Stretch
Savannah is nearing the end of her pregnancy and the body count still finds their way into her life and the lives of her grand mother in law. Mrs Jenkins has dementia so she often does not know what is really happening around her. Rafe and Savannah thought they had put her in a nice safe place at Brentwood, but one night she escapes and somehow finds her way back to her old house in Nashville, covered in blood and soaking wet. The writer sets the scenes up with more excitement for Savannah and Mrs Jenkins and the final show down happens in her own home town. I really like this writer and if she continues this series, I would probably buy another book.
Another great addition to this fabulous storyline
Savannah #15 continued the storyline of the previous stories admirably. The evolving relationship between savannah and rafe is wonderful and heartwarming. Ms. Bentley tells a story that grips you from the beginning and never let's up until the conclusion. I sincerely hope this series continues on for some time. If you like to readcozy mysteries this a step above the usual rote mystery. Ms. Bentley draws her characters wonderfully and drawsx you in from the first sentence. I highly recommend this series. It is better to read in order due to the development of the storyline.
What can i say?
Wow Jenna Bennett you did a heck of a job on #15! I LOVE it!!! I'm sitting at work on lunch hour wiping tears from my eyes! The story of Rafe, Savannah, and Baby Carrie Collier is breathtaking! I want more stories please ma'am! I'm going to have to start the series all over. I caught up with all? Books and waited patiently for #15 I tried to take it slow so I'd have more time with my favorite couples and their lives together! Thanks
Another great adventure for Savannah from Jenna Bennet
Another great adventure for Savannah from Jenna Bennet. What I loved about the book was the non-stop action. It flowed seamlessly. The surprise twist involving Audrey was outstanding. I would have given it 5 stars if the ending had not been such a disappointment. After all the waiting and anticipation of the baby's arrival, I felt like it just a mention in passing. Oh, baby's here. Let's talk about something else now. No tender moments or heart to hearts. Margaret Ann did nothing more than glance at the baby. Huh? Also, Rafe seems to be relegated to saying mostly "take care of my grandma", "are you okay?" and "you're not fat". I miss the cheeky banter from the first books. After reading the first couple of chapters, I had hoped this would be a book where Rafe and Savannah work together to solve the mystery. Those were fun times. But, they were off in their different directions. The heart of the books is Rafe and Savannah's relationship, and it was sadly missing in this one. The last paragraph left me, well, flabbergasted is the only word I can come up with. Not in a good way either.
Another fabulous installment
This was one of my favourite installments yet! I had face time with Rafe and got to experience Savannah once again, solve another mystery, without putting little Carrie aka Caroline in jeopardy. It was un-put-downable! I enjoyed the synergy between Rafe and Savannah and noticed the growth in their relationship. I would not mind seeing Savannah sell some houses in the future and I'm kind of missing Tim. However, I cannot wait to see how Sanvannah juggles motherhood and crime solving and how Rafe reacts to everyday fatherhood. I'm in love with this series.

Jenna Bennett does it again
Savannah and Rafe are shocked when Rafe's Grandma, Mrs. J,, is found wandering in their yard in the middle of the night and she's covered with blood, though she isn't hurt. Now to figure out how she got out of the assisted living place and wound up miles away. As Rafe and Savannah try to solve the mystery, a murdered nurse from the assisted living place is discovered -- could Mrs. J have killed someone? Another outstanding Savannah Martin story and by the end of this story, we find out if Savannah is having a boy or girl. Don' miss this latest Jenna Bennett story.
Fantastic edition to this series!
Another home run!! I LOVED this book! There was SO much heart to it and a LOT of surprises! I simply can NOT wait until we get to visit with Rafe, Savannah and all the rest of these interesting characters again! I don't want to give anything away but there is a lot of excitement and several answers to questions from previous books in this series. Kind of a who's who! GREAT job once again by this fabulous author!
Another Fun Read
I love this series! Can't believe I've finally caught up and have to wait for the next book. I tripped over a few things in this one--that almost every character is related to each other somehow and that Rafe would leave Savannah trapped in the car--but overall, I love the characters so much, I just follow the story. And Rafe's reaction to his new baby was priceless. A great read.
Nice to know Officers Spicer and Truman are still around.
I was okay with the ending. Unless there are complications women have babies, no muss, no fuss, no fanfare, everyday. Everyone was happy. I loved the red herrings, plot twists and turns, subplots, and felt the entire storyline was quite progressive. Can't wait to learn how Savannah and Rafe cope with marriage, parenthood, work, and being involved in and solving mysteries. Please let us be there when Katherine's kids learn about their family tree. The reaction of her eldest should be priceless.
Another winner
As always, Jenna delivers another cozy mystery, with all the characters we love from her previous books. But it is the tale of the changing South that has pulled me in and kept me entranced. It amazes me that a Norwegian has tapped into our prejudices and our struggles as compassionately as Jenna has. But in her books, as well as in our lives, love triumphs over skin color.
Great Series and Wonderful Addition to It!
This is such a great series that the characters feel like old friends, and I can't wait to catch up with them when each new book comes out! Several loose ends were tied up in this book, and several surprises awaited us readers, too. The murder mystery might not have been the most thrilling of this series, but it was quite entertaining. All in all, this book was wonderful, and I'm ready for the next one!
Wish I Could Give this 20 Stars!!!!!!
This is the best Savannah Martin Collier book yet! It has everything you could want in a book - intense action, lots of suspense, & loads of spicy yet sweet romance. Savannah & Rafe are my favorite couple. Quite a few surprises to be had also. And the ending, it was absolutely perfect!!
Once i again I couldn't put this book down!
The Savannah Martin series is one of my absolute favorites. I absolutely love the characters! The twist and turns makes me nervous and excited while reading. I never want the book to be over when it comes to the end, and I anticipate the next in the series to find out what she has stumbled into next.
Great Read
Love this book. One of the best in the series. So much was packed in this fast-paced drama with Savannah expected delivery to another familial delivery that brings everyone together. From Mrs J right down to Audrey...this book had me immersed in all that was happening and I could not put this book down until the last page was read and that ending...put a smile on my face. A great read and I can't wait for the next book in this wonderful series.
Love this series
I have loved this series since I picked up the first book. I liked watching Savannah becoming her own women and I'd run off with Rafe in a hot minute. He's everything a woman wants in a man. That being said. this last book is a bit of let down. I can't see Rafe leaving Savannah alone so much especially since she was in danger and very pregnant. And while I liked all the family ties, it was just a little too pat. But all in all eagerly waiting for the next book.
Five Stars
Great book. Sorry it is the last one or is it???
Five Stars
Can't wait for the next installment
Wonderful
I love how each book is tied in to the series but you can still read as a stand alone. I love the plots
Five Stars
great book
Exciting
Excellent book. Involved all the characters from previous books. Left the story line open for multiple avenues to pursue. Can't wait for more adventures with Savannah, Rafe and friends.
Fantastic story line! Love It!
I absolutely love this series! I can't wait for the next book.
Fantastic
The whole series is awesome! Love the author. Great twists and turns. Witty and suspenseful, great read. I fell in love with all characters.
Expected more
I agree with another reviewer that this book was disappointing. I have read all the books in the series and I wish this one was better. There was more interaction between Mrs. J and Savanah than between Rafe and Savannah. The birth was also disappointing. I would have liked to see Savanah and more importantly, Rafe, interacting with the baby. I wonder if the series has run it's course. How will Savanah investigate with a newborn to take care of? Just my personal opinion, but I would like to see a novella to wrap-up the series - maybe Bob Satterfield could retire and Race could take over (I believe that was mentioned in a previous book). Again just my opinion, but I think it's time for a new series - maybe Darcy and her boyfriend? This has been a great series.
Five Stars
Loved the series am looking forward to the next book.
Best ending ever
After 14 book number 15 was a proper ending, Need a spin off. Grimaldi and Dix, or a Todd and Marley
love it!
