We bought this book for our 8 year-old granddaughter on 10/30 and she already has it read. She throughly enjoyed it.

Filled with humor, lovable characters, and fun facts about sea life, my son and I could not love this series more! The exuberant Narwhal shares his excitement for the holidays with his best buddy Jelly by informing him of the Merry Mermicorn who spreads cheer each Christmas. The graphic novel format with large panels and comical dialogue draw the reader into this amusing tale.

I'm a dad and I read Narwhal & Jelly to my daughter. Who owns all the books along with a poster. She absolutely loves them! And I really enjoy reading them to her. It's a unique series and as long as the stories continue, we will continue being fans!

My daughter started reading Narwhal and Jelly when was 4 and she still loves them as a 7 year old. The latest one was eagerly awaited and consumed right away!! This series is my favorite gift to give younger kids. Merry Mermicorn was a big hit with my daughter.

My daughter loves it. She enjoys reading this book.

This is my first time reading any tales of Narwhal and Jelly, and I found the stories both sweet and funny. Puns certainly abound, which is always fun in a children's book. The illustrations are simple, yet the illustrator is able to get across some very lovely expressions on the sea creatures’ faces. The two main characters are waiting for the Mermicorn (half unicorn, half mermaid) to show up. Jelly doesn't believe in it while Narwhal does. We see some different winter holiday traditions of some sea creatures, like lighting the minnow-rah with bioluminescence. Jelly believes that Narwhal has given him a nice gift, and much of the book is Jelly looking for the perfect gift for Narwhal. The author scatters information about the sea and sea creatures throughout the book. The creature who gave Jelly his gift is a surprise at the end. One fun thing I enjoyed is that it included two Christmas carols that had been changed to reflect the sea environment. Fun book. I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

'Happy Narwhalidays' by Ben Clanton is the 5th book in the Narwhal and Jelly series. The holidays have come to the undersea world. There are narwhaliday carols and snow (!) and warm waffle pudding. The culmination of the event is the arrival of the Merry Mermicorn, but first Jelly has to find the perfect gift. This series is always a must read for me when a new volume comes along. I always wonder how the creativity is going to go, and Ben Clanton always brings his A game. This book is wonderfully festive and adorable. I enjoyed the short graphic novel narratives, and it brought great joy to my curmudgeonly heart to see an illustration of a shark wearing a Santa hat. This is fun for kids and adults who enjoy this series, and can also be a fun introduction for people who aren't familiar with the previous books, but think that a Christmas book about narwhals would be a lot of fun. It is!

I adore Narwhal and Jelly! This book is perfect for the coming holiday season. Its fairly open ended in terms of any actual holiday celebrated but it touches on several traditions. Best of all, it highlights the spirit of giving and being together with loved ones. Can't wait to share this with my littles.

Another wonderful addition to our Narwhal and Jelly collection

If I'm honest, every Ben Clanton book I buy is actually for me, even if I pretend it's for my kids. I adore Narwhal and Jelly and so do my preschool and school-aged kids. I pre-ordered this and I'm glad I did. I'm sure reading it at Christmas time will be tradition by next year.

Our 3yo son finds these books hilarious and enjoyed this one as much as the other in the series we have to the point of gasping for breath through laughter. I love a good pun, so I'm thrilled to be instilling this flavour of humour at such a young age!

It's exactly what it's supposed to be & in perfect condition, my grandaughter will love it .

The Narwal and Jelly books are some of our household favs. I was super excited to discover a holiday one this year to put into my boy’a stocking. I could wait to read it with my son, I went ahead and read it early, it was awesome, as expected.
