Two Thumbs Up!
As a fan of The Witcher, this art book really excited me. GWENT is a great card game, with fantastic art to go along with it. The book is laid out into seven chapters that covers Monsters, Northern Realms, Scoia'tael, Skellige, Nilfgaardian Empire, Neutral Forces, and Special Cards. Each card is gorgeously presents with the name, which artist designed it, and a brief detailed description of what is captured on each card. It's presented in a way that anyone unfamiliar with Witcher lore will certainly pick it up quickly (in my opinion). I found myself absorbed into each page, soaking in all of the detail. Dark Horse has done a wonderful job publishing this book, and I highly recommend it.
Up for a round of gwent?
I am a simple man I see the Witcher I buy it. All joking aside, explore the gorgeous art of Gwent The Witcher card game! See the simply glorious art of all five current faction the Northern Realms, Skellige, Nilfgaardian Empire, Monsters, and Scoia'tael. Plus the neutral cards that go with all the current factions. I am a causal Gwent player who only plays friends for fun and not competitively and this book's art is stunning. A step up from the mini game in The Witcher 3. The art book comes with book and game lore as it adds more characters from the books. It's great art for those who love the Witcher or good artbooks. Well worth it.
Gorgeous Artwork from the Witcher
The Witcher 's Gwent Gallery essentially acts as an art book for both the trio of Witcher games (especially Witcher 3) and the upcoming standalone Gwent game that will expand the Witcher 3's popular card based mini game. The book breaks down the various characters and monsters into their respective categories from Gwent (monsters, Northern Kingdoms, Nilfgaardian Empire, etc) and presents each gorgeous piece of art alongside a brief description and amusing notes from the artists and creative teams who put these images together. It is an expansive collection that touches on events from all three Witcher video games and is a worthy collectible for any fans of the series. That said, I do wish that CD Projket Red would release an art book that directly ties in with the Witcher 3 instead of just being a collection of all the Gwent cards (there was an official Witcher 3 art book released but only as part of the collector's editions; these books cannot be bought on their own unless you go through second hand vendors). I'm also a bit disappointed that some of the Gwent cards' images are breezed over without any notations or background information and smashed together four to a page. It may have helped save a bit of space, but some of the images that were chosen to receive less attention were of major or popular side characters. These are minor complaints however, as a huge fan of this franchise I loved this collection and encourage any other die hards to pick it up.
Great but...
Some of the pictures are completely ruined by how they are placed, key areas right in the middle of the book where you have to struggle to actually see them. For some reason important characters share a page with other 3 cards while a piece of wood takes an entire page, really dissapointing. Anyways, the book has a good quality and the drawings are interesting, they do get boring once they start to show random unknown characters or medieval weapons, but if you are a fan of the witcher you do get here and there characters that only appeared in the books. It is anice art book to show to friends.
Fantastic Art
My review fornanything Witcher related is probably biased because I absolutely love all things Witcher. The Witcher III is probably one of the best, if not THE BEST game I’ve ever played! And within that game there was another game called gwent that I absolutely fell in love with and would sometimes play the Witcher just to play gwent. Now gwent has become a free to play game and the artwork on each card is just fantastic. I didn’t even know there was an art book specifically for gwent until it just randomly popped up on my “things you might also like” field. This is a fantastic book and looks great on a bookshelf full of other art books.
Beautiful illustrations, informations - GWENT & The Witcher Lore
If you loved playing GWENT in The Witcher games then you'd probably want to try GWENT from CD Projekt RED. This book is a great companion to the latest Witcher Game called GWENT that surrounds only about the fun and addictive card game GWENT! this books includes very beautiful illustration of most of the GWENT cards and adds extra lore information on them as well as extra lore on the The Withcer universe itself. very exquisite book!
Nice Collectible Coffee Table Book
Nice coffee table book, full of beautifully drawn artwork from the Gwent card game. Complete with information on the particular cards themselves. Although I had a problem with the delivery and condition in which I received my book, overall I am satisfied and would recommend to anyone who considers themselves to be a fan of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt"
pretty
every corner was bent, and the book was filthy. I doubt this was a new book. if you want this as a collectible I suggest purchasing it elsewhere so you can handle it with your own care. that aside, the pictures are wonderfully rendered and the size and weight could definitely be used as a weapon. very substantial book.
Absolutely gorgeous!
Gorgeous book. I was expecting something beautiful, as I already know many of the Gwent illustrations, but the book is even more stunning than I thought! Many illustrations are characters, so you might be a bit frustrated if, like me, you're a big landscape lover. But the illustrations are really amazing. Many of them could be paintings on a wall.
Beautiful artwork and decriptions
This book has beautiful artwork, interesting background descriptions, and fun comments from the artists themselves. Witcher 3 is probably the greatest RPG game ever made and this book is a wonderful complement to it and to the super fun game of Gwent!

If you're a fan of the witcher do yourself a favor and get this. Absolutely lovely artwork
Beautifully Classic
A Must have for fans. Nice tidbits of lore added and a focus on the Artists makes this a fantastic art book. Not to mention the materpieces of Art contained within. Wonderously brilliant.
Awesome Gift!!
Bought this for my boyfriend and he loved it, this was before I was a fan of the Witcher myself and knew nonthing if it. He liked that there is a card game and the book isn’t just pictures
Art work is fun to look at
Cool photos to look at, not much else.
Wonderful to look through
Just got into Witcher 3 and fell in love with Gwent; the artist’s notes and explanations for card layouts in the book are interesting and fun to read. My housemates watch me play now and then and like to flip through the monster and character card pages as they see them in the game
Great book
Excellent artwork! Informative as well

Very good,
Fantastic art book!
This book is fantastic! I love the witcher universe and am an avid collector of art books. I was a little hesitant to purchase this book as i had purchased the art of the witcher awhile back and felt like it was lacking a little bit. I saw some of the art for this book floating around online so i went for it, and am so glad i did! Every illustration in this book is amazing, you can see the love and passion that went into this product. If you like the witcher, art books, or are looking for some artistic inspiration - this is your book. Just get it, you know you want it!
Good background for game
Brings some needed imagery while reading the books to some of the creatures and all of the Witcher series books.
CDPR goodie
Great book for the fans of Gwent, the art is really good:)
Beautiful
Very beautiful book of art!!!😍
Adds to Lore, Artistic Considerations, And Game Info
With a coffee table book, sometimes pretty full page images alone just isn't enough. Fortunately, for this collection of the Gwent stand alone game card images, we get more than pretty pictures with informative accompanying text. Yes, at times, the text can feel very self congratulatory, but then again, the sheer amount of time, talent, and especially collaboration put into the stand alone card game clearly provided a truly exceptional achievement. The book is broken down by factions: Monsters, Northern Realms, Scoia'tael, Skellige, Nilfgaardian Empire, Neutral Forces, and special cards. All the art from the Witcher 3 in-game version was completely redone for the new game and many are quite spectacular. Each section has an introduction to the theme, discussion of the characters, and thoughts on what the artists were hoping to convey. About half the cards are given a full page treatment with a discussion of the background of the character, the art approach, and a quote that tells about the card. Then there are several pages with 4 cards to a page and no descriptive text. Some cards were challenging (e.g., the shadows - how to show detail of a shadow creature) and others were about being creative (e.g., the cover showing Geralt casting Igni - but from the perspective of someone about to get burned by it). There were a few characters/cards not in the game/books but created for this big Gwent deck. And the new mechanics expanding the game beyond how it appeared in Witcher 3 are also touched a bit upon. The book does a great job of exploring the universe, discussing the mechanics of a card game, and presenting the creative aspects of the artists and their commissions. Characters only briefly discussed in the books (e.g., the succession of Nilfgardian emperors from Emhry to Voorhis, to Jan Calveit are all covered here, though we only see two of them really in the games) get cards, which is also neat. I admit that I would have liked to have all the cards have accompanying text - E.g., Fringilla, Vattier De Rideux, Priscilla, Sile De Tansarville, Ves, Radovid, Dijkstra....none have accompanying text. Instead we get text for Trebuchet or for Lesser Fog monsters. I really wanted to learn more about the characters, why they were designed as they were and why they were wearing what they were wearing. This felt like it would have been the perfect place for more lore. That said, to see so many of the beautiful artwork full page was impressive. And the cards cover all Witcher games as well as characters only appearing in the books. Game mechanics and strategy are briefly touched upon in some places. In all, a beautiful collection with stunning fantasy artwork and nice accompanying text about the art, the lore, and the game. Reviewed from an advance reader copy provided by the publisher

Only next to the Witcher World Art Book.
you're going to love this! The same applies if you're into fantasy ...
If you're a fan of the Witcher games and/or books, you're going to love this! The same applies if you're into fantasy art. If you've played the stand-alone Gwent game, you'll have seen most of this art before (although there are three illustrations from cards which have yet to be released), but when you see them as full page pictures you can appreciate their quality so much more. A number of artists are involved, but for me the works of Bryan Sala, Anna Podedworna,Bogna Gowronska and Bartomej Gowet stand out. The inclusion of explanatory text on all the full page illustrations is really welcome, although its a pity that the smaller pictures tend to have 'quotes', which are not so informative. My only gripe is with some of the choices of which cards to illustrate full page. You don't really need that much contextual text for cards like 'Savage Bear' or 'Torrential Rain' (examples of full page illustrations), whereas major characters like Dandelion, Lambert, Eskel, Olgierd and Keira Metz are smaller pictures when there is quite a lot to say about their characters.Despite this, the quality of the art and of the book itself still easily merit 5 stars.
Beautiful display of artwork
Wether you are into Gwent or just into the Witcher 3 this book is packed full of artwork depicting the character found in the novels as well as the games
Gorgeous book
Although it's clearly just making the most of the Witcher's current popularity to squeeze more money from us punters, it is nonetheless a lovely book and well worth poring over and admiring the artwork for die-hard fans such as myself.
The pictures are really well drawn and even I liked looking at the pictures from the cards
My boyfriend has spent hours playing Gwent and so I got him this for his birthday. The pictures are really well drawn and even I liked looking at the pictures from the cards. Good quality and a great gift for any Gwent fan.
I love qwent!
I got this as I became addicted to Qwent within the Witcher. Excellent great art prints, it really focuses on the art with short explanations of the cards. Some of the art are large full page spreads not in card format others smaller as the cards were in the game. If you enjoyed the game and the art style you'll love this.
Stunning!!
Was a little hesitant about getting this in digital format as I usually buy this type of book in a physical form. Amazing fantasy art for both Witcher and Gwent fans. So good I'll be buying a physical copy as well!!!
Amazing
A amazing book. I do not play the card game but I buy this just for the art. It is amazing!
Five Stars
Beautiful book, worth every penny. The quality of the book is excellent, as is all Dark Horse’s art books. It’s been months and months since I have bought this and I still occasionally pick it up to look through it. My only (minor) criticism is that some of the more major characters are relegated to small images while less significant characters have full pages.
The artwork is top quality, but the binding is not.
This book is crammed with the highest quality art, and for that I can’t recommend it enough. However, I have only looked through it a few times and already the binding is deteriorating.
Amazing
Amazing art and some additional information on every card. A must have for every withcer and gwent fan!
Five Stars
Beautiful book! Perfect for any Gwent/Witcher fan.
Great, but out of date
Good book, it’s out of date though and missing a lot of the art I bought it for, also would be nice for some of the pieces to be bigger
Absolutely worth it
Wonderful quality, shows all main factions in clarity. Beautiful book. Just note for fans that the Toussaint section for Nilfgaard was added after this was made, no TS cards. 10/10 though.
it's an enormous hardback
Beautiful artwork
An excellent coffee table book
Stunning artwork. An excellent coffee table book.
A must for all Witcher 3 fans
This colourful fabulous book meets all of my expectations. The quality is good and I feel that it’s a must for all fans of the Gwent card game.
Five Stars
Beautiful artbook and a must-have for any witcher fan.
Amazing for Witcher fans
I LOVE this book! Goes great with my Witcher collection!
Brilliant
Quality book full of beautiful art.
Great book but poor photographs and graphics
It’s a great hard bound book (rather big too for most conventional bookshelves) and a good addition as a coffee table book, especially for the witcher series fans. The page and print quality is excellent, however many pictures and graphics seem blurred and out of focus, which is rather disappointing and retracts from the overall beautiful feel of the book. It seems as though the original gwent card graphics from the game have been stretched and enlarged due to which they aren’t so clearly defined in the book. In some of the graphics this is quite easily apparent, and in some a little less evident.
Perfetto
Arrivato velocemente e in condizioni ottime, ancora incellophanato.
Excelente!!
Me encantó.
All about illustrations n not about illustrators
The book was really good. The illustrations were amazing. But there was just that. Nothing about the artist(s). I was looking forward to the artist notes.
Perfect
Super quality as expected. Must have for all witches fans. Beautiful artworks from different artists. I just love the book so much.
Hermoso
Hermoso libro de arte. Recomendado para cualquier fan.
EXCELENTE
