God and Me! Devotions for Girls Ages 6-9

They devotions are good, but was very disappointed when she told us that scripture verses were not included in the daily devotions. We want our grands to be acquainted and familiar with the scriptures on a daily basis.

I purchase these devotional series every school year for my homeschooled daughters. The content, questions, daily prayer/memory verses, and activities are all excellent. My girls enjoy their devotions and I feel good knowing that they are growing more and more spiritual each day. I'm looking forward to purchasing the boy version for my son.

This is such a fantastic book. I do it every night with my 8 year old and it is so easy to keep up with. She LOVES it. I like that it asks questions and also has a little activity to fill in. It is perfect for her and her age. I highly recommend it. It has spurred on some great conversations with her and we talk daily about the Lord with it and pray. She had to make a list of people she wanted to pray for and it was so sweet to watch her go through her list and pray for each person.... even people who are mean to her at school. It is teaching her how to walk with the Lord daily and be in His presence.

I love the Author so much, her life and purpose is to share How powerful; How amazing, How blessed and purposeful our life’s and families, Cities, and Nations can be, When a child believes, and understands the Love our Father has for them!!!they we can do anything when we walk with God, we can move any mountain. You will be blessed to witness Our Fathers Love poured out, God and Me God And me! will make great Christmas present! You will be very blessed!

Gifted to my 7 yr old granddaughter. She loves that she can write things in it, in response to the topic. I Only flipped through it, so I cannot speak to content. Nice colorful pages. She’s too old for kiddie bibles and too young for a teen bible, so I bought this. I added a pencil loop made from ribbon, and a matching bookmark. She was excited.

Very good book. My 6 year old and I do this together each night. This has great activities that open the door to some conversation. Really like the book this was a excellent purchase.

We just got this today and my 7yr old is already loving this! So glad we bought it! I might buy more for my ministry class!

My 7 year old was so excited to get started, she enjoyed being able to write and draw in her work book. It came new just like described, no writing inside. It is capturing her attention and getting her to dive more into the scripture, to ask questions, and giving her a deeper understanding of the word! You can't put a price on that!

I wish the journal was more pages or seperate. My 8 year old granddaughter is flourshing in her relationship with God. Thank you and blessings to your ministry.

This is such a well done book. Each day is a verse, story, and exercise. It take a few minutes to complete but bc it’s different everyday my daughter is not bored with it!

Bought this for my 7 year old niece and she loves it! She tells me about what she’s learning in the Bible and she hates to get behind in it. She’s homeschooled and so it’s part of her school time.

The best devotion I have read for girls! Both of my girls grew up on this book and I gift it at baptisms now. I love the format and the content!!!

I think the activities are a little less exciting than I thought they would be but my 7 year old enjoys it. They ony take about 15 mins to complete each day.

I like the activities inside. But each page you read a day has soooo much reading. My 7 1/2 year old sometimes gets frustrated to read all that prior to bed. She still does it she wnt give up.

We have this series and my 6yo (now 7yo) enjoyed it mainly because it enables her to do a devotional workbook like her older brother. The fictional anecdotes are sometimes too short and often a bit awkward in the attempt to make a scriptural application. Same for the puzzle/activity pages. There is a brief scripture at the opening of each entry but it appears to take a back seat to the author's text. We have countered that by reading the passage from our own Bible before hand and discussing that as well. Although the material is "fluffy" is does provide a springboard for discussion, and it has helped to encourage my child to create the habit of getting into God's word daily. Cute little book, but if you are looking for "meat" keep looking. When she gets a bit older we will use "Real Life Encounters with God" by Child Evangelism Fellowship/TyndaleKids, an excellent devotional.

I would HIGHLY recommend these to anyone that wants to have meaningful conversations about God with their daughters. I can't wait until my son is older so I can buy the boy's version. This book is a great way to involve children in their Bible study with activities and puzzles daily as well as a great devotion that inspired wonderful discussions!! I had not expected to have such clear teaching for my girls at ages 4 & 7, but I am thankful for this book that helped us to do that!! I bought this for my 8 year old granddaughter for Christmas. She loves it.

I expected it to be a devotional but the spiritual element seems more incidental. It leaves so much to be desired. I don't get the positive reviews.

This was a Christmas gift for my 7 year old daughter. She loves the fact that it is like a journal so she can write in this devotional. The words are a little too hard for her so she wouldn't be able to do much of it by herself.

Unfortunately my daughter has to be guided through the book. Can't really do on own. ..not really into it. Has some questions she definitely can't answer herself.

We do devotions with our girls after supper and this has some really great devotions! I'm very happy with this purchase!

This devotion book just doesn't have enough to it - the devotions are too short, there's not enough meat to it. My 7 year old is bored by it. Keys for Kids, a devotional magazine, is more to her liking.

I bought this book for my 7 year old for her birthday. We had Diane Cory's previous devotion book for girls 2-5 years and we really liked it. When my daughter opened this book, she was very excited! The questions and activities in this book really point girls to growing closer to God, others, and themselves. My daughter loves the stories that talk about girls her age, she can really relate to those. She reads the stories and does activities on her own and we also have a one-on-one date one night a week where we read and talk together just she and I. Other times, we use the book for family devotions too. My daughter is already looking forward to being old enough for the next book!

We had received the Devotions for Girls ages 3-5 from a neighbor and when my daughter was about to turn 6 she said she really wanted this one since she'd be six. She loves reading it and especially loves reading it to her little sisters and asking them the questions with the stories.

Good for teaching girls about the Bible, but I was hoping it would use real life situations to teach the girls what the Bible says. It's a little hard for my 7 year old to follow.

This is a Ring Binder Book. It is very thick, and has a ton of pages, worksheets, games, and activities in it. I bought it for my Boyfriend's Daughter, and she loved it! This is a great way to get children closer to god. There are two more books after this one, and I plan on getting them for her for upcoming events, birthdays, and christmas!

This book is for my granddaughter, and although I just briefly scanned it, it appears to be a wonderful devotional for young ladies. I do think it is a bit "advanced" for a 6 or 7 year old. But with some help from mom and dad, I know my granddaughter will get much out of it. Coming from an already strongly based Christian upbringing.
