This book made me sad, glad, weep with joy, and laugh out loud. I have dearly loved Terrence from his first video. He has a common sense beyond his years and his laugh makes me laugh for no reason! He deserves EVERY bit of success he has earned and thank God for the people in his life that helped him through. We LOVE you dear man!

I was able to download this book on its original launch and was ready to give my 5-star review, but due to some publishing issues, I was unable to do so until now. The original publication had major formatting issues and was unlike any other Kindle book that I had purchased, it also excluded the ability to customize fonts, make notes or highlights. In spite of all this, I was determined to read it, as I am a fan of Terrence and was eager to learn how he became so popular and well-known to the public and President Trump. I ended up reading it in one sitting. The book is so moving, and I was very touched by Terrence’s honesty, and yet, his way of looking at his situation from all different points of view, showing his insight and compassion to those around him. Anyone is his situation could have really stayed stuck in a negative mindset and spiraled downward, but Terrence made the decision to move forward and fight for a better life. Although it wasn’t easy, he shows that it can be done, especially living in the USA, the land of opportunity. The end of the book was so perfect and heartwarming…what a sweet surprise to come upon him. Terrence is authentic and everyone around him knows that, including President Trump. Terrence also gives all credit to God, who of course, was the One to lead him out of the darkness and into the light. What a great book!

I always thought my childhood had its challenges, but this family has a much greater struggle and sister Keisha is an inspiration story, the epitome of strength and love for her b siblings! What a great example to others. I’m just starting the book, but heck, this is s story of courage and conviction in the American Dream! What a read!

I just finished reading the introduction of this book and feel as if Terrence and I are kindred spirits. I sit here wiping tears from my eyes because the introduction is so beautiful. I hope people will read Terrence’s book and benefit from it. I believe he speaks from the heart and what he has to say will be inspiring.

I rarely leave reviews for books but I had to for this one. What an inspiring story! Terrance shows that one can rise above the circumstances of life, no matter how terrible they may be, and achieve what might be thought impossible. Thank you Terrance for having the courage to talk about certain aspects of your life that I am sure were difficult for you to speak about. May others look to your example of determination, faith and humor to overcome their difficulties and not play the victim. Also, as a side note to those reviews speaking on formatting, the latest update resolved all of those issues and it now reads smoothly.

This book is straight from the heart. You will cry , you will be shocked to your core, and you will laugh. Terrence let us in on his life and how different it was from most people. And it makes you not take for granted anything in your life again. I found the book smooth to read, I read it it in an hour , I didnt want to put it down . Congratulations Terrence! I'm so proud of all you have accomplished and my heart goes out to you as well. I thank God that you never gave up, and that you could feel the love of your heavenly father ,even through all of that! .

I thought it was a good book.it shows how a young man came out of bad situations despite the odds. Not everyone faced what he did and he still came out ahead..Through hard word and believing in yourself you can have the american dream.Don't let circumstances dictate who you are or who you can become.

The Kindle version is done very poorly! Words run together. I’ve seen four words run together as one. Terrence Williams has an amazing story to tell. Who ever did the Kindle version owes him an apology and a complete refund!

Hey Terrce, Funny story, I saw your enthusiasm about your book on TV. Your attitude was so joyful I downloaded your book, wanting to know your story.. It was only towards the end when you wrote about the viral chicken video, did i realize who you were. My adult son who is not political came in one evening, took the remote and played your video. It reminded me of the old comedy, Sanford and Sons, the Jefferson's TV shows. Just a good laugh wrapped around a real message. I too grew up with a single Mom snd 4 siblings. My Mom had one year of secretarial school which helped get her foot in the door to earn a living. In the book i cried when your mom got her degree, and when you sat at our President's side., both times. There is a truth that all of us deplorables know., America is not perfect but still great, that Trump is not a racist and that a free thinker with good heart is a rich man. Thank you for sharing your journey, it was quite the ride. You deserve and chose to be happy. Gratitude and tolerance heal many hearts. I am not wealthy but have also been lucky to help others, a few homeless people get back on their feet and help support a few families in Mexico. I cut my own hair and wear second hand clothes. I appreciate the funding Trump added to the foster care system, and i appreciate what you have done too. We must all help, not just the government, it should be personal, an awakening of the unheard, the foster care children and you helped give it a voice.

When I purchased this book, I expected something quite different. This is a lot more than a political book. It's the story of a boy who overcame insurmountable odds but who did not allow his upbringing to shape his future. I laughed and cried. So inspiring! Thank you for being so transparent, Terrence.

TK Williams’ account of his life re-enforced the idea that this country can make dreams come true if you give it your all. It doesn’t matter your race, religion, color, or creed. It doesn’t matter your situation in life. God blesses those who allow Him to be a part of the journey. Mr. Williams, you are blessed! Thank you for sharing your story and providing light in this world!

I just finished reading this incredible book. It's been a long time since I read a book that compelled me to carry it around with me until it was read. I read it in a day and wish there was more of his story to read. Terrence Williams story is gripping, honest, heart wrenching, humorous at times (as would be expected from Terrence), triumphant, and incredibly inspiring. For those wondering if they can give it to their teenagers or people who've experienced trauma, I feel it is safe. He describes abuse but is careful to leave out details that would be too graphic or upsetting. Additionally, it is clear he had young people in mind because he is honest about his mistakes including drug use, but states what he should have or wished he had done. It is not preachy, just states the facts. Terence's inspiringly hopeful perspective and attitude shines through, but he does not pull punches and say it was easy. He simply chose at every step to learn and use his experiences to strengthen his spirit and resolve. As someone who has worked with children in the foster care system, this is exactly the book I'd want them to read. The book provides the reader validation of the incredible pain of poverty, the quandary of still loving parents that have hurt you, and most importantly, the message of hope that could only be told by someone who has experienced all those things. He addresses the need for change in the system, but not from a place of bitterness, but rather contrast between the foster family he called "home" and others who were there only because the system is desperate. There is something so incredibly human in the way Terrence tells his story. Of course I know that he made it through these circumstances but I couldn't wait to turn the page to make sure little Terrence was going to be okay. No matter who you are, this book will touch you. I had to put the book down to weep when he described the reunification with the people who taught him about love. This book is for everyone. I was caught off guard at how Terrence's story personally challenged and motivated me to rethink my perspective regarding my own life challenges, that are dwarfed when compared to his. At it's core It is a message of acceptance and forgiveness. A lesson so few of us fully learn.

I can't believe the way this unbelievable boy grew up...ndthe amazing man he became. After all the turmoil in his life he never gave up. I read this in 2 days. Very humbling and I can't imagine how much courage and strength it took to stand up and believe in himself and his journey that took him to the white house!

Disclaimer: I have been a fan of Terrence Williams and all of his very funny posts on social media mocking current events for the past 2 years. I did not know about his youthful days and the difficulties he experienced before I began reading about his life. This book was an eye-opener, at least for me. If you watched the movie DAS BOAT or read the book, the one aspect that came across loud and clear was that most of the time the German sailors spent underwater was extremely monotonous and boring. The first half of Williams book at first seems to be repetitive but that is exactly the point he desires to make regarding the turmoil in a very young boy’s life when they are brought into this world by a mother addicted to drugs and alcohol. The repeating of his treatment and the treatment of his many siblings is exactly the point of his book. To the young mind like his, there should have been no hope of ever escaping the abuse or looking forward to a brighter future. Just more of the same, day to day to day. The title of Williams’ book nails it. Williams went from the depths of living in total poverty, not knowing where his next meal and clean clothes would come from, to sitting next to the President of the United Stated in the White House. This is a book about The American Dream and how it is available to anyone who sets out to achieve it in spite of their good or bad life stories. Williams story is heartbreaking to say the least. He relates his ultimate success in believing in the will of God even when Williams gave God every reason to abandon him. While on his way to meet President Trump, Williams was involved in a very serious auto accident that resulted in a broken neck when he spent all of 2019 in recovery. His life story, thus far, is compelling and well worth reading. Many within the Black Community will undoubtedly take exception to his beliefs and HAVE taken exception to his position on advancing the wellbeing of Blacks and freeing them from the status quo of governmental dependency as evidenced by the many vial death threats he has received because of his beliefs and positions. This is a book about making choices, achieving what you want to achieve in spite of roadblocks thrown in your way to distract you. Who should read this book? Everyone but especially any young child currently living in the foster care system Would I read it again? Probably not but not because it is not worthy of a second read, just not necessary. Would I give it as a gift? ABSOLUTELY!!!

This book is so good !! I could barely put it down. Finished it in two nights, in about 4.5 hours. Terrance knocked it out of the park !! He shares his story with so much grace, yet it is so real and draws you into what he went through growing up, and how God helped him to get through the difficulties. His life is an example of how God takes extra special care of the fatherless. God literally becomes a Father to the fatherless. So many emotions were felt reading this book, I cried, I laughed, and I prayed. Terrace has a real gift for writing, and it shows in this book. Behind his humor is a great mind that puts his critical thinking skills to use in this well written book. I hope this is the first of many more books.

Great Book from a hero and Patriot who lives the American Dream & refused to be a pawn of identity politics but instead an example of why freedoms must be protected that allow the hard working to achieve their own destiny. Amazon is BLOCKING reviews just as Twitter/Fakebook & other Big Tech are doing. Couldn't leave a review for the book Case against masks by Dr. Judy Mikovitz, another great American hero. This only proves why these books matter, and why we cannot allow them to silence us when we disagree politically with the communist left. Lawsuit in play for Amazon over this, to my surprise, I am one of 6800 others who added my name to the illegal censorship by a company that is supposed to be a neutral forum. How many conservative stores on here are affected by this discrimination by Bezo's against republicans? These books tell the stories.

You absolutely have to read this book no and if or buts . Written from the heart and heart warming!

This book was an easy read and page turner. I just couldn’t put it down and read it in a few hrs. I didn’t rate it as a literary masterpiece but rather for content. Terrence is an amazing individual who had an extraordinarily rough beginning that most would have succumbed to or would’ve chosen the wrong path. Through his persistence, strong work ethic, belief in God and the love and guidance from two of his foster families, he achieved the American dream. He’s truly blessed with talent and spirit. The only thing I wish the book would’ve included was to inform the reader as to the outcome of his siblings and to include some photos of his family today. Thank you Terrence for making us laugh, for sharing your story and for the work you do for children in foster care.

This was such, and touching, and inspirational book. My wife literally cried while reading it. It typifies the American Dream, and shows how in this wonderful country, no matter how difficult a person's upbringing, one can accomplish anything, they set their mind too! It gives a wonderful account of how Terrence Williams was able to rise up from an upbringing, without a mother or father, in foster homes, to literally make it all the way to the White House! And, probably most importantly, he kept smiling the entire time. Just look at the cover photo, which shows Terrence as a young boy, and today, and see how that smile is the same, and contagious. I highly recommend this "feel good" book!

Terrence gives a real, unvarnished look at our child welfare system. He gives both the good and the horror of growing up in a tumultuous cycle of poverty and foster care. Through his personal ordeal he gives you eyes into the uncertainty and pain. His humility, faith in God and sense of humor kept my interest from beginning to end. Terrence is a shining light.

I really enjoyed this book and am thankful that Mr. Williams chose to share his story. It really shows how God is at work in our lives and how even the most awful circumstances can be overcome with faith and hard work.

Mr. Williams ability to over come the life he was born into is absolutely incredible. While the kindle edition has some editing issues, I could not put this book down to upload the corrected version! Highly recommend reading this book no matter your political leanings!

The book seems ok, but the digital quality is difficult to ready and not visually easy to read. All other books i down loaded are easy to read. Cant see any pictures either.

Just finished a wonderful book "From the Foster House to the White House". I literally could not put it down. For those who were not raised in filth and poverty, whose mother was not debilitated by 'crack', this book gives an insight that is crushing. For those who might have been raised in those circumstances, it give you encouragement to reach beyond...way beyond! "My mom chose to give us life..." "I could blame my mom for the choices that she made. Her decisions caused pain and heartache for all of her children. I don't make excuses for this. However, in all the things that she did wrong, she did some things right. My mom chose to give us all life, and I love her for this. Life births opportunity, and we are each responsible for the decisions we make with our given opportunities. ..We can't control the circumstances that we are born into, but this does not negate the value of the life that we are given. Everyone deserves a chance to live and learn from experience." Terence Williams

Terrence’s book was a short, but impactful read! He recaps his life as a child born to a drug addicted mom, and living in and out of the Foster Care system. With the odds stacked against him, Terrence recognizes God’s hand in protecting him throughout life, putting the right Foster Care parents and situations in his path to lead him to success and the White House! He reiterates the importance of hard work and using adversity to grow. Terrence speaks about the American Dream, that anyone can achieve it, and that he is a living example of it (as is his mother)! I also appreciated how he was such an independent thinker, despite what society deemed he should think or feel. Thanks for all you do to help educate others, Terrence! And i’ll look forward to seeing you in an acting role in the future! 😉

Really enjoyed this book. Very quick read but touching. Felt very honest. Did not need a dictionary to understand what was being said. Great for younger people as an educational tool. My opinion. Loved his attitude toward lif. If you want something then get up, stop making excuses and do it. If you don’t then blame yourself. America is full of opportunities.

From the 'no holds barred' beginning of life story, taking the reader through the hellish depths of hunger and despair, then finishing with the kind of happiness that only God could supply, brought unexpected tears of joy to this reader. Thank you, Terrence Williams, for helping our President make our country great again.

This book is a must read. Just received and am on Chapter 5 - plan to finish today. Such a wake-up call for those who work in the ‘system’. A testimony to what we already know - the ‘system’ is broken. My heart is broken as I read his story. Thank you for your honesty and vulnerability. What an amazing sister you had to help you along the way.

Terrence K. Williams' book is an enlightening read for anyone. In a country filled with vile people who hate and attack others constantly, Williams' love and appreciation of life wins the day. This despite of horrific circumstances he has had to overcome. He is a grown man who doesn't make excuses in a country where 30, 40, and 50 year old children endlessly blame others for their own shortcomings. Open your mind like Terrence has done and read this book!

I just want to wrap my arms around the little boy who was let down by his parents and the system put in place to help children like him. If looking for a story to inspire you-look no further! You ARE loved Terrence! You are helping to open the eyes of America and God will continue to bless you.

We LOVED this book. I have 3 adopted kiddos (all teenagers now) and the oldest would occasionally blame his shortcomings on 'being adopted'. Oh no, sir! You are blessed beyond measure and you are what YOU make of yourself! (Enter Terrance's book as an adoptive mamma's best back up ever) As soon as my copy arrived I parked all 3 of them on the couch and read a few chapters each night. They loved it! This book completely changed their perspective. Hearing someone else's story of trials that were similar to their own, has been life-changing for them! My youngest is actively promoting your book to teachers at school as you're one of his favorite people now. 😊 Terrance, thank you for being such a beautiful determined person and putting your life's story on paper! There will always be a plate of my grandma's world-famous fried chicken waiting on you if you're ever in ATL! 💜

Great lesson about how you can rise above your circumstances. Terence's voice shines through as he describes his faith in God as well as his trust in the leadership of President Trump. Williams has been blessed with some amazing opportunities. With these opportunities come responsibilities. I hope he continues his work to change the foster care system. His insight to how the welfare system works would also benefit him in the area of politics. Keep up the good fight Terrence and thanks to President Trump for giving Williams the accolades that he deserves.

I could not read this book because I only ready by tablet and the words were run together and the digital format was quite poorly done. I borrowed a more recent Kindle and am now finally able to read it. I guess I give the book 5 stars and its download only 1. Mr. Williams tells it how it is in so many poor drug ravaged families. I just want to say he has come a long way down a rough road.

For one thing, I love the content. For Terrence to write out such a perfect book, I applaud him. The book itself is very nicely done, smooth pages, beautiful cover, and not a long book to read. You can sit down and enjoy it in one sitting. It reads quickly, and is very inspirational. I feel bad he had to go through so many obstacles, but his main idea is that there is a lot of opportunity in life, you just have to reach out and grab it. I am a fan of Terrence Williams so I wanted to be supportive and buy his book.. I did not expect it to be as good as it was. I think it is so inspiring to see that you can come from nothing, but take personal responsibility for yourself and not take on a victim role. His story is inspiring and I love how he has always been grateful for whatever he has no matter how small.. His sister is also a strong role model for him and what she went through was also very moving. It is heartbreaking at times, but also makes you think just how very fortunate those of us from loving families really are.

Good book showing what one man, who had a terrible start in life, was able to accomplish. The various foster homes that shaped or inspired him, his hunger as a young child, his belief in God, his incessant talking all made him the man he is today. I don’t know how he made it through his young life but I’m glad he did.

This story is so inspiring on many levels, least of which is how the author overcame the genuine struggles of his youth. But what makes it doubly refreshing, is that he didn't blame racism or oppression or some other Woke boogey man on his troubles. He saw them for what they were: drug use and poverty can cause a host of other problems. He thanked his mentors along the way, and loves what this country has to offer anyone who is willing to work hard and make good decisions. Williams is a welcome voice to the public discussion! My only criticism, albeit small, is that it's not excellent writing. But it makes up for it in excellent content. Youth of all races should read this!

This is a well written biography. His ability to remain positive, and trusting God after all of his troubles is inspiring it is wonderful that he is not a victim, but an over comer. He reiterates that we are all responsible for our own choices. What others do can only destroy us if we let it. I have enjoyed reading it, and appreciate that Terrence is sharing his life with the rest of us.

Poverty doesn’t make you a victim. Gender doesn’t make you a victim. Skin color doesn’t make you a victim. Your faith doesn’t make you a victim. Gender preference, sexual identity, None of it makes you a victim. You are what you Choose to be, despite your circumstances. God/Life deals you a hand and you get to play your hand the way you want. Terrence K. Williams was dealt a crappy hand and he played wonderfully! I am inspired! Great story and very wise! Read, Think, Learn.

I’ll never complain again. I give the hardcover book 5 stars. I noticed that the 1 stars are only because the kindle version was technically messed up... not one complaint about the book itself. Terrance is adorable.... can’t say that enough!

What an inspiring story. After teaching for 37 years in an intergrated system , I am so dissipointed in the black community's entitlement mentality . Our black students went through school with the same teachers , administrators, desks, books , food, and other opportunities as the whites , just as Terrance. It's time we , as a society, focus on success stories , like Terrance's . I only wish I had understood more about the foster care while I was teaching. Through this book , I hope more attention will be brought to light about the Foster Care Program.

I loved this book. It takes a lot for me to read a book in virtually one sitting. It's witty, heartbreaking, exciting, encouraging, and more. I'm very proud of this young man for refusing to fall for the lie that you can't because of your upbringing. He's proof positive that you can succeed, despite your upbringing. Way to go young man!

I very much enjoyed this book by Terrence Williams. I knew from social media that Terrence is SOOOOO funny! I laugh so hard when I hear him speak. What a gifted young comedian. His book taught me of the harsh and difficult realities he survived through his life to be a guest at the White House not once but many times. This book is SO uplifting, so remarkable, and a great autobiography. I found it inspirational. It is truly a book that shows you that the American Dream is alive and well. Get this book-- you'll LOVE IT!!!

Great book, I read it in about two days. Terrence Williams takes you on a journey through his life and when you are thinking: "How much can one person take?" He always comes out stronger and more faithful in God. I found this book to be very motivating and it really helps you to always see the light at the end of the tunnel and how important it is to remain positive. Thanks to Terrence Williams for always standing up for what he believes in and not to be bullied into a corner because of his upbringing or skin color. Great book, would definitely recommend.

I love that Terrance shared his story and how it’s not about what you are given but what you make of what you have and pursuit to a life that you want through hard work and following your dreams.

This book was great! Sad that so many of our children have to go through a system where they aren't always sure what they will be facing, but Terrance attitude is wonderful! You are what you make yourself, not what circumstances make you! We all have opportunity, we just have to take it when we have it and make the best of what we have. Read it! You won't be sorry.

What a incredible book. Once I started reading this book I couldn't put my phone down. Terrence Williams has gone through sad moments that made me feel sorry for him. I laughed and was sad as I was reading this book but the most amazing thing was Terrence Williams got to have lunch with President Trump.

Ok, so I have not actually read the book yet, but Terrance Williams is one of my favorite political pundit / Facebook / YouTube stars. I know a little bit of his story already from interviews. If this book is anything like his videos, I am in for a treat!!!

After finishing i one day I must say it kept my attention to the end. Being familiar with the foster care system it did tug on a few heart strings and brought back to mind some life experiences. Life is not easy for anyone and some clearly have it harder.

Terrence’s book revealed a lot about his rough start in life, how God blessed his Life with Kiesha, the Solomons, and his good foundation in Christianity. His book is inspirational, bringing me to tears one chapter and laughter the next. He really gets that life is all about the choices we make and understands that our choices are few. He shows the value of one’s word, which is all we have in life. Highly recommend his book.

It is a sad day in this country to have children treated this way in foster care. Terrence you are a special young man and a shining example for future generations. So enjoyed reading this book. It is written on a level anyone can understand. It was certainly encouraging and uplifting. Having worked in the area of foster care for a short period, Terrence Williams has carved out the life that you desire on a similar level for all children who go through the foster care system. Unfortunately, too many are doomed to repeat the mistakes of the family they were reared in because these children do not have the role models and mentors like the Solomon's and the Terrence Williams'. Also, as a Christian, I am so glad Mr. Williams found strength and comfort in the leadership of his heavenly Father and he was bold in giving God the glory. Mr. Williams is still a very young man so I look forward to seeing what else God has in store for him..

Terrance is a role model for what is possible in life despite our struggles. He is inspirational and is a role model for all those who want to live a life of triumph instead of victimhood. I was enlightened to the foster care systems weaknesses that need to be corrected. No child should suffer abuse in their own home or a foster home! Terrance has brought this issue to the forefront. I have been following Terrence for a while, finally bought the book. The cost is worth it! I ordered the actual book and it came quickly and in great condition. Terrence seems like a kind, sweet person. I'm so glad he overcame all that he went through. We might not start out where we want in life or things happen that put us in a horrible position but we can always redirect on where we are headed.

Inspiring story about a young man who overcame seemingly insurmountable odds to become an amazingly valuable patriotic citizen. This is a great read for the average citizen who hasn’t gotten a real image of how sad and desperate children are in American families who have drugs, poverty and lack of family structure. It could also be an inspiration for other you g people.

This young man is just full of genuine love, and he doesn’t pull any punches, either. He shows the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of his life all while celebrating a strong faith in God and celebrating our rights to have differences in opinions WITHOUT being hateful to one another. It’s so refreshing to know the story of the man whose videos I’ve been enjoying for some time now!

It must have been difficult for Terrence to share his life story so openly with the world, but if it makes a difference to one person, it will be worth it. I was saddened by his childhood experiences but heartened by his uplifting attitude, and his love for our President. You will laugh, cry, and be inspired. Terrence does a good job of telling the story of his childhood and the foster care system. It gives you an insight into what goes on in poor households with lots of children and what happens when the government gets involved. He also sings the praises of the 45th POTUS and recounts his experiences at the White House. It is a short book but worth the read.

I was saddened reading the hardships this man had to endure, at the same time impressed with his sheer will to go on and make something out of what he learned. Terrence is funny, and his love for God will move you. I loved reading about how he came to head to the white house! I think a book 2 should be in the works, so we can continue following his career!

Got this book tonight when my husband got home and then finished it in a few hours. I couldn’t put it down. It really opens your eyes to things that I never had to experience in my life. Terrence story is truly inspiring. Love of freedom, opportunity, God, Hannity, and the Trumps.

I was I. Tears for the first half of the book. The thought of children growing up in these circumstances is very sad and disturbing. This book has a happy ending for a little boy is has every thing against him. Through his own perseverance and attitude and will , he rises above all odds . Read his story of struggles and success.

This was a good book. That simple. It was inspiring and sad and heartwarming and all together a good read. It’s amazing to see how someone can grow up having so many challenges and still have such an amazing attitude and willingness to share their story. I’m glad I bought it and I’m kind of disappointed I didn’t buy a hard copy.

Excellent read. It was so sad how much Terrence and his siblings had to endure. With God’s guidance he was able to rise above all the bad. He truly loves President Trump.

Terrence had a rough childhood as he wrote in this book. But he turned out to be a smart and successful man. He didn't let the challenges he faced destroy him. He refused to be a victim. This was an incredible book. The first half I was in tears, unable to comprehend the pain Terrence (and I'm sure millions of others), have endured from the effects of poverty, addiction, violence, and broken families. However, his story of triumph is such a testament to the power of the human spirit. He made me laugh on social media; he has my deepest respect and admiration after reading his story. Just finished this memoir ... It was quite painful in places but, as it develops, Terrence's story is wonderful and uplifting. Charles Dickens could have written it, but his account would have been fiction. This author's story is all too real. He's today's Horatio Alger. I highly recommend Terrence K. Williams' FROM THE FOSTER HOUSE TO THE WHITE HOUSE.

This book blew me out of the water! I meant to just read the preface, as I was in the middle of finishing a different book at the time, but I couldn’t put it down and read the whole thing in a day. WOW!!!! What an incredible story and testament of overcoming no matter what life throws you. It was gut wrenching and beyond inspiring. Terrence did a wonderful job writing this amazing story. He didn’t hold back on his honest truths about his mother and family. He gives credit to positive influences and to God throughout. He also owns his mistakes and poor judgements at times in his life. A pleasure to read and very inspiring.

Terrence does a magnificent job of describing the pain, the anguish he felt as a child in poverty, in the foster system. I could just see the disgusting conditions, smell the acrid stench of urine soaked mattresses, etc. I love his videos, but I had no idea of his background. The American Dream is alive.

Terrence knows how to tell a story in this page turning book. Given the extreme poverty and starvation in which he grew up it’s beyond impressive how he turned his life around. This is the American dream. I love his positive attitude and was amazingly inspired. Must read!

Terrence opened up the window of his heart and welcomed us to view and share the painful details therein. But he didn’t stay there; he chose to see God’s role in the life of a little boy from Oklahoma. The result: a life of joy and service to others!

Heartbreaking hardships of sadness and substance.... an all-true-too-often raising of our precious youngsters into adulthood. Yet a true, open story of how God turned a life around. Nothing but love and admiration for Terrence’s example of God’s love.

This is a wonderful account of an amazing man that never gave up. It also shows us a sibling that struggled to do her best for her family. Although Terrence didn’t have much of anything, he made the most of everything he possibly could to survive, advance, succeed, and help others. It gives great insight into a life that many of us could not even imagine or would ever wish on our greatest enemy. We all have struggles in life and this book inspires us to never give up!

Great reading for anyone who wants to appreciate what they have, and at the same time admire a patriotic man who successfully make his own way in this country despite being born into horrible circumstances. Such a wonderful person.

I was searching for a book that would have meaning and substance when I saw a post on Facebook about the story of Terrence Williams. This book filled my heart and my soul with its amazingly true account of one man’s ongoing life story from poverty to faith and prosperity, and how that journey has been enhanced by The President of the United States of America.

An excellent read of the heart of someone who is not ashamed to tell the story of life as it really is. To encourage thinking and dialogue for the good of one another is becoming estranged. This book is perfect. Couldn't put it down.

The kindle version is unreadable due to formatting issues. The words overlap and no matter what setting is used it is unreadable. I have it on a kindle paperwhite and downloaded it to the kindle app on my tablet. Someone that downloaded it to an iPhone said theirs was working properly.

Terrence has a very compelling American success story, and he tells it well. The various stories he shares are relatable, even stories that are unimaginable in my life. I read it all in one day, and I feel like I have gained compassion and understanding just through reading this book. I definitely recommend it.
