Forever Devoted is a wonderful romantic suspense tale! The suspense is a brilliantly complex thriller with pulse pounding danger, betrayal and anxiety inducing threats! Layne and Walker endure several harrowing moments at the hands of desperate killers and of course the Davies family scrutiny! Both are about equally deadly! While trying to avoid Layne's overprotective family and the famous Keeneston gossip mill, Layne and Walker manage to find their forever love! The grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles, cousins and grandchildren ( to many to remember) are joined by the long lost Faulkeners and the family tree becomes beyond cumbersome. Fortunately Kathleen has an addendum with the family tree as the reader tries to sort who's who! If you've read most of the series you will be familiar with most of them, as well as, the Keeneston characters! The bottom line.... this title is a great read! It has happy and sad emotional moments, laugh out load banter and cringe worth suspense! I truly recommend all the series and branch off books too! These book are why we read romantic suspense! Add Kathleen Brooks to your read list! (The Lies series is also amazing)!

Loved it. I have enjoed everyone of the series books. You become part of their town and life. I do have a problem with the editing errors though. So words are wrong in the sentences, towards the end Layne introduces her dad as Lt. COLONEL. But a couple paragraphs later he is called Lt Commander. If the author is going to mix the military branches she needs to keep the ranks straight. I cant give. 5 star only because of the editing errors. Disappointed these were not caught.

Awesome book. Layne is getting some much needed R&R at a conference in South Carolina..while there a physician asks for a consult for someone with a secret and she jumps on board to help. Walker needs to get in 100% shape to exact revenge on the teammember who betrayed him and his teammates. In order to do that, he needs some PT to get him in fighting shape..while he’s fighting for revenge, he’s attracted to the pretty PT who’s life is now in danger. When he needs to lie low for a while, he decided to take her up on her offer to go home with her. Hell soon learn that not only can Layne take her of herself, she can take care of him too..with the help of a town full of bad asses. Loved Layne and Walker together..even though she is a Physical Therapist..she is her own badass thanks to her dad, Miles. Walker, as a service man..can kick ass and give out sarcasm with the best of them. We got to catch up with the gang in Keeneston, but m6 favorite part is anything and everything Aniyah. She is hysterical and worth the midnight Maugham in bed. There were some nice surprises, hysterical laughs, and touching moments. In addition, I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the long lost family members and eagerly await their stories. Kathleen has done it again with an awesome read that leaves you trying to explain to those who don’t know, exactly where Keeneston is and who lives there. Every time a new boom comes out, you feel like your going home for a visit and can’t wait to see what stories you hear now. Get the book you’ll never be disappointed.

This is Layne's story and her time to find love. I couldn't imagine the man that would stand up to her Dad, Miles Davies, but DEVGRU, Walker Greene, does just that. He is handsome, hot, smart and very cool. He's been betrayed and left for dead. He is wounded but he is arrives undercover to Layne Davies for healing. When he sees beautiful, hot and smart Layne, right from the start you can tell they were meant for each other. They are both tough, loving and protective of one another. As usual, we also have the wonderful humor from the Keeneston characters we've come to love so much. Between laying on the floor laughing, you may also need to read carefully and even twice to find the cues showing us who might be the next love birds or the ever missing panty droppers! We're also introduced to another branch of the family from Shadow Landings....do you feel another series coming. The suspense is ever present and the bad boys don't stand a chance against Keeneston! I am so excited to see the next Bluegrass story "Forever Hunted". These stories are so nicely written with humor, romance and suspense. So very enjoyable.

Kathleen has delivered again on her Forever Bluegrass Series. Forever Devoted may be her best yet in the series of the offspring. Layne Davies and Walker Greene are the ultimate couple with truly a lot in common. He falls for her bad assery and can’t believe his perfect woman truly exists. She falls for him because he doesn’t cow down to her Father and does respect her father and understands. There’s enough excitement with proving Walker was the wounded true hero on the mission that saw his teammates get killed at the hands of the supposed leader and to get him taken down. You’ve got the residence of Keenston helping like they do. There is no other place like Keenston. You will enjoy getting to know Marcy Faulkner Davies long lost family, a beautiful wedding and lost family finding each other once again. This book is an awesome amazing read you can’t go wrong with Kathleen Brooks just enjoy and go on the ride with her imagination.

This was an amazing addition to the Forever Bluegrass series with the Davis family and all of Keeneston helping to clear the name of a former SEAL now a member of the elite group DEVGRU, Walker Greene who survived a massacre of their men by one of their own Jed Melville. He falls in love with Layne after his friend Gavin, who happens to be her cousin, introduces them when he is suffering injuries from being shot by Jed then having to swim for his life to reach his friend who is a doctor. Layne is a doctor who specializes in rehabbing soldiers and takes him on and hides him because Jed wants him dead so that he does not tell the truth about what really happened at the Nigerian Waters op. It is fantastic how the story unfolds with the whole town and the Davis brother's accept Walker and take down the bad guys overcoming several serious situations. It is amazing how these two, Layne and Walker fall in love with her even saving his life at one point. He loves how she is so tough and capable to fight by his side because her father, Miles taught her so well. They get their happily ever after and the betting pools go wild with Reagan the next cousin to find love with Carter in the next release. I highly recommend this exciting action packed romantic book and am looking forward to the next book in this series

Wow! Layne is awesome in mind and body. She is a no nonsense woman that can "kill you with her pinky"! Green is just sex on a stick! He is a SEAL, so you know he's tough. But he is protective, loving, charitable, and a perfect match for Layne. His toughness lets him fit right in with the Davies men. Walker is injured when the two first meet with danger not far behind. That doesn't deter Layne nor any of the folks of Keeneston. Walker wants to protect Layne but realizes she belongs right by his side in the fight. Another great Bluegrass story from Kathleen Brooks! I can wait for the next one....Forever Hunted!

Knocked it out of the park yet again! I was hooked the moment I discovered the very first BLUEGRASS book. With each and every book there after in fell more and more in live with this motley cast of characters. They all now feel like family to me... I look forward to seeing what antics occur in every new story. Especially what's up with the infamous Rose sisters hehehe. You can read this book without having read all the others, HOWEVER in highly suggest waiting to read the others first. That way you gain a rich backstory to all these brilliant characters. Tons of suspense, and amazingly strong women who fight side by side with their alpha men fill these pages. Lost family found and old pain healed. I cannot wait to see which relative falls in love next... And also to see what type of trouble heads their way. I never tire of the stories in Keeneston... And with finding new relatives maybe a new town to see what trouble and love hides? Here's to the future!

Loved this book. Kathleen Brooks is really a good author. I always look forward to getting her books as soon as they come out. The continuing stories of the characters from Keenston Kentucky is great. I also have this in audio and love it also, in fact even better than the book. The absolute best part of her books at least for me. Is she doesn't go into long drawn out sex scenes. These kids of the original character's are most entertaining. Specially when the girls do some major rump kicking. This particular book is Miles and Morgan's daughter Lain and Walker who ends up being a friend of her Cousin that lives in Charleston. And gets her to help with getting Walker back on his feet. Of course they run back to Keenston Where all of the protection that anyone could ask for is. The antics in this book like most of her books had me laughing out loud. Can't wait for the next book to come out. .

There is nothing that I like the least about this book except maybe I wished it would go on with more chapters. I love this author because she has the town of with the most amazing characters. You will always laugh if she takes her stories to this little town who will protect the innocence. I love the Rose sisters, the other families from the other stories from the beginning. This story is just a continuation from the first book about the people in this town in Kentucky. I would highly recommend this author , Kathleen Brooks if you like romance, laughter, suspence, over protected fathers with their daughters, military involvement, government, just exactly what a book should be about. Enjoy.

Miles and Morgan's daughter Layne is leaving for a conference in Charleston, SC and she is looking for a nice break away from Keenston. While there she hits on her cousin, meets a man and brings trouble back to Keenston. Walker is fighting for his life after his commanding officer kills everyone on his team, including Walker's brother in law. The town is thrilled to come together again to fight for what is right and bring justice to those who lost their lives. Author Kathleen Brooks has another great book and leaves her audience looking his more. I am very excited about the next installment of the Bluegrass Forever series.

Once again Kathleen Brooks hit it out of the park! I loved this book. Layne and Walker were great together from the get go. I loved how the lost extended family was brought into the picture. I cannot wait for that to play out. I think this book made me laugh out loud more the antics of Miles oh heck all the brothers protecting their "girls" is hysterical. Love how Pierce is not handling or at least his mouth is not handling Tammy being pregnant too well! Anniyah is absolutely hysterical with her gun fetish. Amazing how she keeps getting them! Also love how Walker picked up on Fr. Ben and that there is more to him. Hope he gets a story in the future. Love how the entire town comes together and gets the job done. I had my family chart at the end trying to put everyone with everyone. Bring on the next one!!!

I always love to be back in Keeneston. So much so, that I'm going to re-read all Bluegrass series now. Yes, it's quite a stretch to believe that so many spec ops/intelligence people live in one tiny town. But neverless the stories are highly entertaining. Whenever I read one of Kathleen Brooks books, I know I'm going to laugh out loud at least a couple times. I'm going to enjoy great actions scenes and I'm going to swoon over all the great guys that live in that town. This time we meet a couple new characters, who are going to get their own series and I can't wait to read those books.

This is another amazing book in Ms Brooks Forever Series. Layne is the co star along with Walker Greene and the reason is because I fell in love with both of these badasses. Layne is the daughter of Miles thevtough guy who it is hard to get close to. Walker is avseal who was almost killed by a fellow seal. He is severely injured and Layne is the physical therapist who steps in to help. The plot thickens as everyone of the Keeneston so called retired military plot to bring down the group who betrayed Walker. As usual, you won't be able to put this one down. It is hilarious and sad as all of the Keeneston residents, the Rose sisters included, get in the mix. I cannot wait for the next book and highly recommend this one!!

I so love these books! It is so nice to pick up a book and feel as if you are coming home. The characters are so life like. The plot is one that keeps you guessing. The emotions felt by the characters are so real to life. While we know these books are works of fiction, we can easily imagine spending an afternoon with any of the bunch! Keep the books coming! And I’m so glad we are finding relatives in other towns, because what would we do when everyone has found his or her happily ever after. GREAT JOB!!!

I truly did not think that Kathleen could out do what she has done. One would think with how many books have been released, something was bound to get boring. Then, Hooyah!!! Yep, she inserted a sexy SEAL who gave better that what he received and accepted his equal with open arms. Betrayal, death, embarrassment, introduction, training, and support. It was a remedy that left you laughing, crying, and wanting more. This story was addictive in a way that had you wishing for the bond and love that may never be outdone. Ultimate son-in-law versus daughter versus dad/ uncle equals one accepted froggy.

I don’t know how she does it but these stories just keep getting better and better. Miles had been favorite Davies brother so I couldn’t wait to see how things would go when it was his turn to watch his daughter fall in love. This story didn’t disappoint and walker is everything you know he needs to be to win Layne and earn acceptance from Miles. I can’t possible day enough good things about those story and the whole series. Kathleen Brooks has built a town that as a reader you have come to love and want to be a part of and looked forward to reading each new installment.

Wow!! I absolutely loved Forever Devoted!! The story pulled me in, & kept me reading, wanting to find out what happens next. And boy, it did not disappoint. I thoroughly enjoyed reading every word of the book. It is an awesome romance suspense story about Layne & Walker. They met while is was he on the run, & his best friend introduced him the Layne. Walker is a Navy Seal, injured on the last "mission". Layne works with injured military, helping with their recovery. Their chemistry is undeniable. It was great to catch up with everyone of Keeneston. A MUST READ FOR EVERYONE!!!

I love Keenston (sigh). I want to move there just to hang out at the Blossom. Layne is totally awesome, but that shouldn't come as any surprise. Another winner for Kathleen, how does she keep getting better and better. I've already read it twice cause I zppmed through so fast the first time I was afraid I missed something. Very excited for the new series too, should be a different set of characters since they aren't all obviously military/law enforcement. Can't see how Father Ben's story will unwind but I'm sure Kathleen knows. I'd give it more than 5 if that were possible.

This is by far my favorite book. I loved Walker Greene and the fact that he is a Navy Seal and able to stand up to Layne's dad, uncles and cousins. But I also like the fact that Layne was her own person, raised by her father to defend herself and in the end didn't need her strong boyfriend to protect her. I also loved the fact that we were introduced to Marcy's family and getting them all together. I also loved the fact that we find out the characters of the next book in the epilogue. I can't wait for Reagan and Carter's Story.

Layne has a PHD in physical therapy that she works with wounded soldiers. Walker is a SEAL that has been betrayed by one of his own and has been shot. He needs help with recovery with the gun shot to his leg. Layne agrees to help and takes him to Keenston to hide and recuperate. Layne and Walker can't keep there hands off each other even with Miles threatening him. I love these books, they make me laugh, cry, and laugh more. Can Layne and Walker make it as a couple or will her father scare him away like all the other men she has had in her life.

Wow! Kathleen Brooks outdid herself with this one! I laughed, cried and sat on the edge of my seat throughout this entire book. This book was impossible to put down once I began reading it. It was exciting from beginning to end. Walker Greene is the perfect match for Layne and Miles couldn’t have chosen a better man for his daughter if he’d tried…that is if he’d wanted to! The blurb gives a good description so I won’t give anymore away, all I can say is don’t miss this one as it’s definitely worth reading!

If you want to know what I am omg-ing about read this book you’ll never guess who is next and omg I am so excited but first let me tell you Walker lived through the family dinner. I will tell you that, and he is Hot Hot! Layne is a bad ass even more than Nash cause she beat him up,lol! but that is all I am going to say. read all of these hilariously funny sexy books they are awesome. This author puts out a winner every time. I adore her books. Can’t wait for the next one!!!

Each book in this series is better than the one before it! I've laughed so much revisiting this series while I run, and I forgot to stop listening to after I got home! Finished it in 2 days! From new family members to over protective dads to family binding initiations this book had everything.

I laughed, I cried, I bit my nails! Another great read from K. Brooks. I love the saga of the different generations. The writing is so well done (except for the few typos in the beginning,, rush much?) and the stories so engrossing, you keep coming back for more. This particular one will be one of my favorites even though I felt the relationship was somewhat rushed but then you got to the good parts faster. All my favorites from the past series were there if only by honorable mention; now I want to go back and read the previous ones again! Who is Carter again? Hmmmmm?

Kathleen Brooks has done it again. Forever Devoted is a terrific addition to her Forever Bluegrass series. This book is about Layne Davies and the man who isn’t cowed by her father, Miles. A rescue attempt that went terribly wrong, a traitor, a kidnapping, a misguided flirtation, macho man contests, her trademark humor, and, of course, the Roses sisters all make this book a non-stop page-turner. Add in a cute little dog who apparently can melt the hardest of hearts and you have a winner.

Another home run for Ms. Brooks and her series!!!! With an action packed punch and an estranged family reunited.... This visit to Keeneston has it all. Not to offer spoilers, but you definitely need to read this book! If you have not read anything from this author.... It is wise to start at the beginning and really immerse yourself in the small town charm of crepe wielding grannies, smoking hot alpha men and strong women. 5+ stars!!!

This story reveals another side of the family I'd forgotten about. I am now hopefully looking forward to reading all about the extended families trails as well. Can't wait to see what happens to Poppy and her sister and the rest of the group. I find myself wistfully thinking of what a great town this would to be a part of an extended family like this is a dream come True for most.

It was nice to get out of the town of Kenneston and start in the Atlantic Ocean. Love the introduction of Shadow’s Landing and the long lost Faulkner’s. Layne and Walker are perfect for each other. And the last paragraph - can’t wait to read the next book!

I am never disappointed by Miss Kathleen but wow I loved this book! It was so much Keenston love and less suspense than some of the past stories but I loved every moment of it! I love hearing Keenston friends and family dig at each other and laugh together... it makes me feel like I am a part of the joke, their town and part of their family! I can’t tell you how much I loved this book and incredibly sad it’s over! Now how can I wait until Reagan and Carters story?!?!

I think this is the best one so far! It was so full of adventure and suspense and laughter! I couldn't put the book down! I always love getting to come back to Keenston and getting to read about all of our favorite characters. :-) And the twist at the very very end! Oh my! I just cannot wait for Reagan's book now! That end... I am an avid reader. Reading fast you can only imagine how many stories I can store up in my brain. By Kathleen Brooks man she has me waiting for each release. Having been sick yesterday I didn't set my alarm for midnight. For four hours I was immersed on a storyline that had me going crazy feeling like I was home and with family. Seeing as love unraveled, how Gramps loved and how parents protected. Too long I had waited, or so it feels and too long I will wait, it seems... When and where can I place a bet on who is the panty dropper!?!

Layne's story is probably my favorite of the series. She heads out of town, away from the prying eyes of Keeneston (I mean, who wouldn't need a break) and ends up in SC where she meets not only family members who she didn't even know about but also a Navy Seal who was lost at sea and needs her help. Lots of action in this one. A great story. I wish I lived in Keeneston...part time.

LOVED IT! I just can't get enough of the people from Keeneston. Don't mess with Lanye. Layne needs a strong man that won't run away. Walker fits that description. So many badass guys in the story it is a contest. Love the updates of all the people in town and how they come together to protect and help each other. They make me laugh so much. I laughed so hard in places at the antics of the Davies dads. It was great for Layne to meet her match finally and have her dad accept her "froggie".. it had a lot of action with the Rose sisters involved too.. I definitely recommend this read for another great visit to Keeneston..

Love, love, love Kathleen’s Keeneston series. Also love that she has Eric G. Dove narrate all of them. So far I think I have listened to Forever Devoted at least ten times, but I bought it before it was available on Audible, so I’ve read it even more times than that. Fabulous series, great writer, great narrator.

Walker & Layne a story of danger, finding love, family & Siblings Reunited Kathleen has wove together another gr8 story featuring my all time favorite small town with Heart Keeneston, Kentucky. This is another must read for all Kathleen Brooks fans. The only downside was I missed the usual dose of the Rose Sisters in this story but the good outweighed the bad plenty more story lines with HEA of Keeneston siblings also a possible spin-off of the Faulkners of Shadows Landing, SC. Another gr8 book a 5 star rating for KB

In the style of Ms. Brooks, another book that hits all the points. There is laughter, love, intrigue and fatherly intimidation. I thought the book was missing some core elements of the Keeneston population and their antics but this may be due to Ms. Brooks introduction of the Faulkner family. Overall it did not disappoint. I cannot wait for the next installment!

This book is just about my favorite one so far. It is funny, exciting and romantic! My daughter (8 yrs) had a snow day today and is home playing video games. (yeah mom of the year I know). Well, she started fussing at me because I would just burst out laughing (guffawing really) and scaring her so badly she kept getting killed. LOL She finally put down the controller and went to play barbies until I finished the book. lol This series is pure magic! I can not wait for the next one!!

I really liked how this story hooked the reader from the beginning. New characters were introduced and the plot quickly thickened. Kathleen Brooks is a master at intertwining the familiar , the new, and the unknown in this romantic suspense novel. This is a book you will not put down.

Once again Kathleen Brooks has made me want sit back with some Rose Sister's Special Tea and live life in the town of Keeneston. Layne and Walker's story is a fabulous and the tease at the end makes it so you can't wait for the next book to be released. I love catching up on all of the citizens; none of whom have lost any of their spunk. This is a great read and I cannot wait for the next one to be released!

The raising of Layne. This was delightful. I'm the earlier books her character was described only as the being tardy. To find that her character e As trained and conditioned along with the other Davies was both surprising and delightful.

I love every one of Kathleen Brooks' books. Her characters are not only enchanting but very believable. You can connect with the town of Keeston and all of the wonderful people there. Her stories make you want to be from there and to be related to these wonderful people who protect and defend.

If you love a good mystery, wrapped up with a romance and a fun loving family, then this book series is for you. I read these books, then re-read them because they are so entertaining! Kathleen Brooks is the bomb! Please keep writing about Keeneston and all of the lovely characters that you have created.

WOW! I think this is one of my favorites in this series. I loved the books. She brought in a different group of people from a different southern town and made it work so very well. And love how the women in the book were tough. Without giving away the story, I love Annie and Cade's hidden room and how it's like a candy store to them. Loved this book!

Awesome! I loved this story. Layne and Walker have an amazing story. Being a Keeneston fan and reading theses books from the start I love all the family history and devotion. There is nothing better than good overcoming evil and this town does it together! A must read series!

Badass Layne Davies gets partnered up with a hot navy guy in trouble. She’s not only beautiful and brilliant but kicks some major tail in the arms department which really turns a Walker on. Great read!

Wow, Walker and Layne's story was intense, captivating and just downright good. We saw a side of Layne that was only ever talked about. She and Walker together are formidable. I love visiting the Keeneston world. Marcy got her long awaited reunion with family members. I am eagerly awaiting the next book. The Davies men are such bada$$es. 😍😍😍

I loved both the male and female lead. It was great the the hero was in no way intimidated by the strong independent woman who was combat trained by her father. It was also great to see the whole gang again. Cannot wait for the next installment.

As always, I waited for this book to become available impatiently. It is, as all of them are, wonderfully written and with a keep you on your toes plot. I know how it will end but the getting there is sooooo much fun. Please don't quit Ms. Brooks, I love them all!

Another enjoyable read. The rating signifies how I love this authors work. She never leaves you without completely entertaining her audience. Whenever a new book is release I have to take a block of time out to read to completion. I would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys laughing out loud as they turn each page.

I really enjoy all of Kathleen Brooks' books. Forever Devoted doesn't disappoint. I liked the additional storyline of Marcy's family. I like the strong women characters. I would like to see the men do something more with their lives than workout.

This book is one of the best in the series about the younger Keenstown generation. A notable improvement over the last couple. Layne and Walker’s story is intriguing. A good balance between the characters of old and adventure, intrigue and development of the new. Looking forward to next in series.

I just planned to read a chapter last night so when my kindle fell out of my hand because I was so tired I was shocked to see it was 5am. The story is riveting and the characters are awesome. Loved this story.

You will love this badass couple right a wrong for a Navy Seal and join two true souls in the process. An aggressive father and a crooked Seal commander could ruin everything. Can Walker and Layne pass the test of overcoming all their obstacles? GREAT book!

I love this whole series of course, but this is one of the best, with the side story of Marcy's family. Always the right amount of action, humor and romance. I highly recommend this book!

I enjoyed the "bad ass" women in this book and the men who love and respect them. The thrilling story line kept me wanting more. This is so action packed I couldn't put it down. From Seal team adventures, good guys and bad guys to passionate love to strong family ties with characters I laughed out loud with. You will love this book.

Man I love sailors! So does Layne it appears. Another great book most decently worth the wait. You can read about the biggest bad@ss of the all. A strong caring bad@ss always gets her man in the end!

Kalthleen has done it again she took us back home to Kenneston Kentucky and it feels like we never left. By reading this book you get to reconnect with old friends and people who feel like family. It was perfect as always your books don't disappoint. I love It! I couldn't put it down reed it in a couples of hours because it was so good! One of my favorites storylines so far I have read them all since bluegrass the first 3 after that , the Davies brothers stories, the single ones and now the forever series. This one was just genius.

I've read many of the books in this series and was familiar with most of the characters. However there were just too many of them at times! But if you ARE familiar with the entire series, you'll enjoy catching up with everyone. Over all it was a great book.

Another fast paced continuing story. You manage to do continuing stories without repeating a lot of excess history. A great stand alone story or as part of the series.

Forever Devoted is another hit on the Bluegrass Circuit! It is filled with love, action and all the antics of Kenseeton Kentucky. I highly recommend this book!
