Not just for children
My 92 year old Mom has dementia. I am doing whatever I can to help her brain stay active. I purchased two sets of these I will lay down a word from my stack and ask her to find the matching word in her stack. She is engaged and all smiles as she gets the matches right. The second thing I do with her is like down four or five words on the table and ask her to construct a simple sentence. I watch as she thinks about it then puts the words in order to make a sentence. Our visits are more productive and she gets to exercise her brain. I wish maufacturers would actually develop more tools that I could use with her as she battled this insidious illness that is touching so many of the elderly.
Great reading cards!
I love these cards because it really forced my son to sound out the letters and really read the word as opposed to the cards with the pictures that he just guesses the word because of the picture. These cards are great quality and price and there are a lot of words. Great find.
Not what I thought.
It's a FRY List instead of DOLCH. my kids school uses dolch. Should be included in the description
Cards are really thin...
I gave 4 stars because I feel the quality of the card is not up to par for what I think the standard in flash card strength should be. These cards are a bit flimsy, not thick, pretty thin compared to other flash cards I just purchased, so I’m a lil disappointed. Not sure how they will hold up seeing as how they are really thin and bend very easily. The colors and words are awesome, easy to read, good size' easy to hold onto. There are sight words on both sides of each card. One side is laminated and the other is not.
Not the best choice of cards
Not happy with this set of cards. There are different words on each side of the cards. A few cards have a word we needed on each side of the cards so it’s impossible to stick them in the wall for practice as the other side of the card has a word we need too. Also, only one side of the card has a shiny laminated finish. Very unhappy and we will be purchasing a better set of cards. Disappointed in this well known brand.
My 3yr old enjoyed it
Fun an colorful. My 3 yr old enjoyed playing with me. Went through the whole 50 deck 3 times im a row and going for a 4th as I type. Only negative is the box was opened. I counted the cards and everything seems to be there
Nice quality cards at a great price
I wanted flash cards for our grandson with no pictures on them, as the pictures kind of defeat the purpose of learning to actually look at the words to learn them. They're colorful, good sized, and have a good variety of words of varying difficulty. For three bucks and change delivered, can't beat it.
Sight Words Flash Cards are a good choice.
I have found these very helpful. I have two PreK students who are learning sight words, and we use these cards at the start of each short session to review what were have already learned. I also, then, use the cards with the 3 new words they are learning that day. They are very helpful!
If you can read this, you dont need sight word flashcards
I'm new to this whole teaching a kid to read thing so when this showed up I had no idea there were so many sight words. I take out about 10 cards and then go other them with my daughter. When I tried with a lot of cards it was too difficult.
Quality could use a bit of improvement.
The cards were helpful with a nice variety of sight words. The cards began to peel and separate after a few weeks of use.

Great Learning Tool
These flashcards are great for teaching little ones the basics of reading. Included are all the words one needs to know to read the English Language.
Easy and effective
Great for my 3 years old, he started reading 2 letter words, he like them a lot but it will be great if they come with synthetic cards instead of regular cards but great for the price
Better than janky homemade flash cards
My kindergartner is learning sight words at school and this pack of flash cards is a vast improvement over my janky homemade ones.
Great cards, But...
Cards are awesome. But seller not so awesome! Buy them somewhere else. Ordered December 1st, just arrived January 10th. Kept saying processing, not out of stock. Then one arrived already torn open. Was supposed to be Christmas gifts.
Great buy for my grandson!
These cards have def helped my grandson with his site words! He was struggling before these and he loves using them and showing his little brother them! Highly recommend.
Great cards
Perfect. These are great cards. They have words on both sides. They are colorful and the words are clear and large.
Good for the price.
Con : The sight words are on both the front and back of the cards. I would have given another star if each word was on its own card. Pro : Big letters and on laminated cards
Perfect !
Perfect for my daughter! She needs extra help and these are perfect to learn sight words!

She is learning this cards so fast I believe is more fun,I am please.
Great price, easy to learn.
Purchased for my granddaughters, they love them. The 8 year old is learning and helping the 2 year old learn. Great price and quality.

Great set of flash cards!!
These flash cards includes words commonly taught to kids around 4-5 years old. This is one of tools we use to get them exposed to sight words before preschool.
She loves her sight words.
My granddaughter loves learning from these cards.
Visual Aide
Great visual aide for helping with sight words
Good
There's simple easy learning tricks and games at the back of the deck to help with teaching. the cards are kinda durable, one side is laminated and the other is textured.
Very nice cards
We use this for our homeschooled Autistic son and it helps him learn to read and learn his words. He really enjoys the cards
Regular quality flash cards
The cards have words on both sides.
Makes Learning easy with large letters and bright colors!
Cards are double sided and has a different texture on both sides. The actual card is made of a thick material so they won’t bend or break easily. The actual words on the card are bright and large.
We really like these flash cards.
Great flash cards for learning.
Great product!
Just what we needed!

Great for my 3 year old. She loves these cards! She even tries to teach her 1 year old sister.
Great for homeschool
I love flash cards. Hole punch and a key ring you’ve got traveling sight words . Good quality cards, box was ripped a little but it’s alright.
Fast shipping
Great learning tool for son.
Great buy
Great cards. Love this. Good size bright colors and directions for activities.

Wrong images posted for product
As I'm reading the reviews for these cards I'm realizing that the pictures being posted are the incorrect cards for this product. I purchase these cards and these are the actual cards. With that being said I used these cards with my 2 year old and since she has phonics already she actually tries to sound the word out when I show them to her. She can enunciate these words very well.
Material algo endeble
Material algo endeble pero practicar y jugar con mi hija por algún tiempo esta bien.

Perfect for getting your child to recognize words and spell worthy the buy
Simple, easy and effective
I have a 7 year old and a 4 year old. These are the same type of sight words that the school use to send home for my older boy when they were teaching him how to read. They do work with patience and repetition. Choose 5-6 sight words and work on them everyday (5-10 minutes) for a week and then only change the ones you feel your child has mastered, keeping the ones they still need more work on, and repeat for another week.
Great cards, but you have to know which list they are based on
We boght these flash cards and are very happy with the thickness of the paper, readability, etc. Half of the words are on the back of the cards which is not shiny and not coloured. There is no explanation for this. However, nowhere in the description does it say that these cards are based on the FRY list of words, not the Dolch list. Since our son's school is working based on the Dolch list, there are several gaps as there are differences between the two lists. So minus two stars: One for the mono-colored back sides, and one for the lack in clear description on the website.
Same as grade 1 Sight words
Happy 😊 These will help my son catch-up. Double sided cards 50 in all, so 100 words in all. I put them in a pocket chart (perfect fit) which i ordered from Amazon aswell. Take a look in my reviews, you should find it there. THANX
Great flash cards
When public kindergarden failed my daughter we only had the span of the summer to get her private school ready, the catch? She had to have at least a good number of sight words down... or they suggested kindergarden again.. these flashcards over the span of the summer the cards put her ahead of some of the kids in her new grade one class
Excellent educational product
Good quality and great range of words, plus hints and tips. Excellent educational product!

Very good
Lovely sight card's
PERFECT for Kindergarten!
I LOVE the vibrant colours and BIG letter print of these Scholastic Sight Words [Flash Cards]. There are a total of 54 Sight Word cards. On each card there is a Sight Word on the Front and Back. The Word cards that have a Purple and Blue border can be used to play additional FUN and Creative Literacy Games (such as...Say it with a Silly Voice & Loud or Soft). Included in the Sight Words card deck are Educational Tips/Steps on ways to introduce and present each Sight Word to Students Ages 4 and up. These Sight Word cards can be used for Whole Group Instruction, One-to-One Instruction and even for Literacy Centers.
Unfortunately double sided with different words on each side
Nice cards but I wish they were not double sided with different words on each side. Many cards have beginner words on one side but advanced words on the flip side. For this reason I only give 3 stars and will purchase new cards that have only one word per card.
Good way to teach kids sight words
There is good collection of commonly used words and ideal for 4-6 years old for them to teach new words.
Great size for the price you pay.
These are a great size. The words are clear. I don’t like that they are double sided. Two words on one card. I wanted them to put up in the house for my son the practice. I ended up having to buy two sets. I also don’t like that one side of each card is colourful, red, green, yellow and purple. The other is always blue.
Too good
My son loves sight words. He has learnt all of them and has infact started reading story books. They are also called dolch wordsand they help in forming sentences.
Not worth it
I plan to use this with my baby as soon as possible. I know these will be a great start for her. However I think this pack could be much more comprehensive than it is. For this reason I would not recommend this product.
Good
I love it. The colours are really bright and eye catching no which makes it easy to use. The way the cards are helps my three year old stay focused and she actually loves playing with them.
Good way to Practice Reading!
These cards are great. I'm a teacher and I use them for my virtual learning. It's unfortunate that they are on both sides of the cards, but can't complain as they offer more words! This would be a great way for kids to practice their sight words from home.
great 👍
that cards are good to learn sight words. my son is in grd 1.now he is learning the sight word .these cards are very helpful for him to learn more and more . recommend

Gross
Product arrived today The box had something sticky all over it!! It got packed in an undamaged envelope not I’m not really sure why they would ship this item Smell like coffee/some sort of cooking/baking substance Super gross
Great learning tool
These flash cards are great! Bright, colorful, large print, and a great size for handling with adult or preschooler hands. My four year old loves when we take them out.
Very good product
Very good product for kids. They will identify the alphabets and diffenciate the images. Highly recommended for ages 9 months and above.
Good product
Useful for children. Parents, teachers and therapists should go ahead with this product.
Laminate them
Great set . My 3.5 year old has mastered half of them already . I’d suggest laminating them as they are rather thin and can easily be torn .
Why double side??
Cards are great, but they are printed on both sides so when I'm teaching both words it's really hard and I have to rewrite one on a cue card or paper
My 5-yr old was expecting Cards Against Humanity.
5-yr old requested for Cards Against Humanity. He wasn’t impressed. However, I give this 5 stars as a party game.
Great for kids!
I have been using these for a few months and have definitely seen improvement with my child. They get excited for words they see often and remember.
Good
Good sight words. Paper isn’t that thick like some scholastic cards have bought but also not that cheaply made.
Worth buying
It really help with my lil boy to start reading. Great value for quality too. Double sided words. Win win!

Recommend
So useful for kids learning to read
Great for our kids!!
Amazing flash card set!!! Very helpful and enjoyable for the kids to learn
Super fast service
Good quality and super fast service.
Great resources
I bought this flash card for my grade one boy. It is a great tool to review the words with him at home.
The kids made up games with them
Children in the family loved the cards
Educational
Helped my brother a lot, Educational, would recommend
Daughter needs these
My daughter is in grade 1 and needs some extra help, these are great for the most common beginner words.
Perfect.
Bright and simple design with double sided cards for maximum learning. Covers all the basic sight words. Inexpensive and good quality.
Product arrived with damaged packaging- a torn box with a big piece of it missing
The product itself is good and it is a good tool to use, but I was VERY disappointed that it arrived with the packaging torn and with a big piece of it missing.
Helps with early literacy
My toddler enjoys learning from these sight words, highly recommended.
Great find.

Damage and used
Items arrived damaged.
