When a savage creature, known only as the Adversary, conquered the fabled lands of legends and fairy tales, the famous inhabitants of folklore were forced into exile. Disguised among the normal citizens of a modern New York, these magical characters created their own peaceful and secret society, which they called Fabletown.
But when Snow White's party-girl sister, Rose Red, is apparently murdered, it's up to Fabletown's sheriff -- the reformed Big Bad Wolf, Bigby -- to find the killer.
Meanwhile, trouble of a different sort brews at the Fables' upstate farm, where non-human inhabitants are preaching revolution...and threatening the carefully nutured secrecy of Fabletown.

Great content, too big for my liking
Overall this is a great graphic novel. Content and artwork is spot on and engaging. It is 1,180 pages total which is a very thick book. I'd give it 5 stars for content, 4 stars for size and construction. The binding is thin but holds together, but the pages are very thin, making me concerned I will tear them if I open the book too much or too quickly. The book overall is too big to comfortably carry around in my bag or on trips. Good intro into the series and definitely the best bang for your back price wise over buying the volumes, deluxe editions or individual issues. There is also no index or contents section so it is difficult to flip to a certain issue quickly. They are only separated by a single page of art between the different issues. Summary, great story and artwork, and good for getting into the series if you don't plan on traveling with the book. If you are lokoing for something to bring with and read on the go, I would recommend choosing the individual volumes for a sligthly higher price in total.

I am a fan of The Wolf Among Us. These are the comics the game is based off and they are great.
A phone book worth reading
The size and weight of the thing make it awkward to read but it’s well put together. I still have to give it five stars because the material is so good. Totally worth it.

Awesome Value
I really think this was a good value. It's a big book, in full color amd the quality is pretty nice. I saw in some reviews people complain about how thin the pages are, but i don't see the issue. The pages are a little thin but they seem strong, and if you take care of this book nothing will happen to it. Overall for the price this book is totally worth it if you lile the Fables comics.
