A great book for the lost and weary soul, very encouraging

For the person who has longed to please the Master and has gotten discouraged along the journey, this book is a great encouragement on waiting in God to do the next thing

Inspired by a Godly Life

I have personally met Elisabeth Elliot and read some of her books. I was privileged to hear her and sit under her teaching at our church women's retreat. There is no end of my admiration for her. Her life story showcases God's deep love and care for each of us through trials and triumphs. All we need do is trust and obey! Wonderful book. Thank you Selah Helms!!

Very inspiring and easy to read-

Very inspiring and easy to read. A book I am passing on to others. Her life is a testimony to God’s peace and contentment in the midst of life’s storms.

Poorly written

I ordered this because I am a fan of Elisabeth Elliott and thought it would be a good way to introduce her life to the young ones. However the book is so poorly written that I would not even consider giving to anyone.

A CHALLENGE TO EMBRACE ELISABETH ELLIOT'S GODLY CHARACTER

Though written for a younger audience, "Elisabeth Elliot, Do the Next Thing” provides a stimulating character challenge for readers of all ages. Well documented with personal research drawn from the Archives of the Billy Graham Center in Wheaton, Illinois, numerous chats with Elisabeth’s husband, Lars Gren, as well a visit to the Gren home, Selah Helms paints a compelling portrait of the woman who daily lived her motto to “do the next thing.” The comprehensive timeline and practical questions at the conclusion of the book enhance this must read volume. Compelling

This is a very compelling, informative biography on Elisabeth Elliot. Even though I’ve read many of Elliot’s books and have known about her for years, there were many things in this biography that I had not heard before. Would definitely read again.
