Very Inspirational

This book is well-written & researched. A lot of the methods mentioned for coaching are easy to implement. The only thing I didn't agree with was with the Law of Attraction & the author mentioning the "universe" giving you opportunities if you have a positive mindset; it's great to have a positive mindset, it changes a lot of things & even people around you, but I believe God opens up those opportunities for you, not the "universe", the world & stars aren't a being. Overall, this book is very inspirational, & would make a wonderful gift if you know of someone needing a good uplifting, I would definitely recommend it!

If Oprah has a life coach ... !

I have to say that "You had me at the book title." It was just so witty and fun and so understandable and believable that it gave me an insight into what type of book and style this would be. It didn't disappoint. This book gives a great combination of tips and tricks but also digs deeper into the different types of life coaching that exist. It was clearly written with heart by coaches who love what they do and want to share that experience with newer coaches. If you're a new coach or are thinking of becoming a life coach, this is a great book to start with.

Good research mixed with alchemy

I like helping people, and life coaching is a new area I wanted to explore. So far, I have provided little coaching and some other training and development services in a professional area only. I have experience with counseling, but this is also another life development discipline. The author presents Tony Robins, the most famous life coach who helped celebrities and sports figures. What surprised my initial thoughts was that a life coach assists in growth in every area of our lives, from personal to professional. Great advice is don’t do life coaching for money but deeper purpose, like loving helping people. However, the author uses nonscientific approaches that are actually dangerous, like hypnotherapy, crystal or chakra healing, or reiki, and includes statements like negative emotions send out negative vibrations. This is a bizarre mix of a scientific approach and own 'belief' presented as a proven method.

Lifecoaching 101

Life coaches have become trendy in recent times. In this book, the case is not only made why life coaches are essential in today's world but that being a life coach is a career field worth pursuing. What I liked about this book is that there is plenty of science and references utilized, not just opinions or beliefs. There are plenty of examples, step-by-step processes, and how-tos for an aspiring life coach. If you are thinking about stepping into the realm of being a life coach, this book is a good place to start.

Must-Read for Life Coaches

A terrific book that lays out all the important reasons to become a Life Coach, particularly if you love helping people, have a higher purpose, and value time and freedom then turning into a Life Coach can be very gratifying. The book delineates how renowned people like Oprah Winfrey, Nia Long, Metallica, Von Miller, Andre Agassi, Serena Williams, and Hugh Jackman leaned on their life coaches to become very successful. What interested me most in the book were the the chapters. "Intuitive Coach," "Business coaching" and "Mindset Coaching." The book imparts powerful coaching techniques and lessons and aptly enumerates the reasons for hiring a life coach - they bring accountability, expertise, and speed of progress. Life Coaches are not counselors or therapists as is demonstrated in the book. A wonderful book to understand who we are and why Life Coaching can be a beautiful and inspiring profession.

Solid advice on many levels.

I have no interest in becoming a life coach, but I would definitely take advice from one. There many times in our lives when our focus gets foggy and we lose sight on our main objective. Sometimes that all important quest gets put on the back burner of life. Having someone around to keep your desire and ambition on the right track can be very helpful. I love books like this that put that necessary info in my head and keeps the inspiration going!

Essential nature of life coaching

This book outlines the essential nature of life coaching and discusses why a career in the field is a worthy one. The text is based on scientific research, not mere opinions or speculation. The author explains in detail how to succeed in the career of coaching, including the use of practical examples and step-by-step processes.

A great guide to effective life coaching!

This is an excellent guide to self-direction and having a life coach. The book goes into famous examples of life coaches (like Oprah and Tony Robbins) , the benefits of becoming a life coach, and helpful motivation techniques such as The Eisenhower Matrix. I find this book an inspiring and well-organized read. Highly recommended!

Great Into to Life Coaching

This book did a great job of explaining the different types of life coaching, as well as how to actually help your client. It provided multiple ways to get your clients to think through their own problems (you're their coach, not their advisor) by approaching those problems from a different angle.

Fantastic

A perfect mix of light-hearted enjoyable reading and actionable info. A lot to learn from this book even if you're not planning to become a coach; after reading this book I have become much more self aware in the way I talk to people! Asking questions first is a superpower lol
