Everyone is young and innocent - virgins, in fact. All four boys have always been in love with Rogue, but she has never even noticed. The air of waning childhood was executed beautifully, as was the climax of the novella that shoved all five of them over the cliff and into adulthood overnight. This book takes place 10 years prior to Sinner’s Playground and is critical to the full arc of the story. So don’t wait. Go read it today!

This story allows you to learn how the guys and Rouge go from a seemingly unbreakable bond to plots of revenge. Is the revenge due to an unbelievable betrayal or a misunderstanding self sacrifice? I will leave that for you to decide. Be prepared for your mind to be racing with lots of daydreams. I am anxiously wanting to know what has led to the attempted murder of Rouge. What type of men will Maverick, JJ, Chase and Fox be? I enjoyed some of the symbolisms the ladies write into this novella, from brief hints to their other series to the use of keys that must all be used together to open a vault. Will they all be able to move past their differences? I certainly can't wait for the rest of this series starting with Sinner's Playground.

Peckham and Valenti writes so fluently and engaging that my heart broke, right along with all of them. These girls can do no wrong and I can't wait to begin this series after this intro. I already love all these characters.

I am so glad that we got this little prequel novella! I personally read this book before diving into sinners playground and and so glad I did just cause I love a back story to what’s happened in stories... not to mention the fact that this prequel is absolutely amazing and makes me have so much love for rogue and even though I HATE what the guys did to her I understand why they did it. This book helps understand both sides and get in the mindset of what the past hurt is and where it all comes from.

Wowza! This was such a tantalizing glimpse into the perils ahead for Rogue and her boys. There’s so much bad happening to poor Rogue, and the only good thing she has is her friends, Fox, Maverick, Chase and JJ. This book evoked all the feels in me, and I can’t wait to see what happens next for this group, especially with that little peek at the end of what’s coming! Only 6 days to wait, so let’s hope it doesn’t drive me crazy before then!

So this is not typically the kind of book I would go for, but I love these authors so I decided to check it out anyway. I'm so glad I did because I was blown away! Typically I'm not a fan of RH, but the groups' dynamic is already so good that I find I don't mind it. There isn't any steaminess yet in this prequel, really, which helps as well. I was also a bit put off at first by the fact that the characters are all around 16. I usually stick to books where characters are all adults, but since this was just a prequel it ended up being okay. The heroine, Rogue, is your typical badass in combat boots and I find I'm excited to read more of her and her boys' story!

Boy do these authors know how to make you fall in love with some pretty hot men and then take your heart and shatter it into a million pieces. But we keep coming back for more. If you love Reverse Harems and bad boys in gangs then pick this novella up. The first book in the Harlequin series comes out tomorrow Nov 13. You are going to want to pick that one up to because boy was that cliff hanger rough. I can't wait for Rogue to show the Harlequin boys just how it feels.

OH MY GUADDDD. This back story just made me have a roller-coaster of emotions. It was so good giving insight to the main story. LOVE IT!

Prequel novella for new contemporary enemies-to-lovers RH series, or more accurately friends-to-could've-been-lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers, featuring gangs, violence, and other dark and mature themes by an amazing author duo who have created their own throne room in my favorite authors' area. Is it too early for me to call this my new favorite series of theirs? I don't think so! How a novella can wrench so many strong emotions from me, take me on an emotional rollercoaster, and throw my ass in the deep end, wide-eyed, gutted, and pleading for more?? It's really telling how talented these authors are. I highly recommend joining their FB readers' group cause you'll need the emotional support and likely become obsessed with everything they write. Girl (Rogue) and 4 boys (Fox, Maverick, Chase, JJ) who have grown up together, in a beachside town run by a gang (Harlequin Crew), as a tight group of close friends - the guys are her soul mates, her whole world, she loves them all and they fit her heart/soul in different ways; the guys are brothers by bond and all love Rogue though fear the day she will inevitably choose one of them to love as more than friend, which will break their group and whoever she doesn't choose (fortunately for us readers, we can take comfort in it being a #whychoose series) And one fateful evening tests how far they're willing to go for each other ... Spoiler: it's not all hugs, kisses and rainbows ... but there will be HEA by the end of the series. Be prepared to have your heart smashed to pieces, get teased with glimmers of hope and then crushed and broken apart before being put back together (and maybe crushed again) -lol- But in the best possible way! The emotional highs and lows and everything in between in promises to be an incredible journey, and I'm here for all of it! The story is told in Multi-POV (h and Hs), adding great depth and dimension to each character and their story. I fell hard and fast for each of the main characters. Each has their own pain, fears, dreams, insecurities - but with each other, they find the strength to deal with what life throws at them. I love broken characters who find strength and healing in each other and fit perfectly, in their own way. This series has become my new obsession by these authors - and Book 1 hasn't even release yet

Sometimes friendship that you think are unbreakable can shatter overnight. What happens when your friend gets nearly raped and she ends up killing her rapist? Said rapist is part of a gang. If there’s a witness and that rat narks to the notorious gang leader that rules the town?! Stuff goes pretty haywire when one of the boys in the friendship is the gang leaders son. These four boys love Rogue and are willing to kill and die for her but unfortunately they must shatter their relationship in order to save her life. Left her alone to fend for herself you can only imagine the bitterness and hatred that she brews her mind against the people she called her family and her best friends. This was a lovely prequel to the book Sinners Playground. I sent a bully romance, enemies to lovers, and definitely reverse harem! This prequel had some pretty dark moments so I’m definitely excited to read Sinners Playground!

Holy crap! This Prequel is the set up for a brand new series that the twisted sisters worked on secretly.. and I am definitely here for it! These two sisters are amazing authors by themselves but when they co-write together they bring magic to the show... I am so excited for you all to meet Rogue, Chase, JJ, Fox and Maddox! These kids haven’t had an easy life by any means but they have each other.. they had plans to run away and start their lives together but one fateful nightmare of a night and everything changed.. sometimes to protect the one you love the most you have to push them far far away.. and that’s exactly what they did.. I can’t tell you how excited I am to dive into this world and see what happens 10 years later.. whatever it is I’m here for it.. nothing these two have written has been short of epic and I promise you this one is going to be amazing ..they are the most entertaining duo..they keep me laughing all while putting out incredible books in record breaking time.. so you don’t want to miss out on any of this!!

So, yea. I freaking ate this prequel up in under an hour. Devil's Pass was a quick, coming of age, thrilling introduction to a series I know is going to hit me in the feels! Rogue, Chase, JJ, Maverick, and Fox had a bond I FELT, y'all. The way they orbited each other, the way the boys protected Rogue, loved her, and fought over her (had me giggling) was so detailed it blew me away that THAT was possible in such a short story. Oh God, and the heartache? I felt that too. The ending killed me. After reading the blurb to Sinner's Playground, I couldn't fathom a bond so deep between these guys and girl that it hinted at. I'm not sure I'm glad I read this because it was heartbreaking but I know it will help me appreciate the series more. Simply amazing this little novella packed such a punch. Of course with Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti guiding the way, I shouldn't have doubted them lol

I already had mixed feelings about this book before I even read it - Susanne and Caroline are two of my favourite authors (literally my only insta-buy authors these days), and I loved all of the three Solaria series to date...but I knew the Harlequin Crew series wasn't going to be supernatural in nature, and that disappointed me immensely (unfair to the authors, I know - it's just my reading preferences run towards fantasy). Maybe it was that reluctance that dragged out the first half of Devil's Pass for me. It wasn't that the premise wasn't interesting, nor the characters boring...it was just that there wasn't as much spark...magic, as I wanted. And another pet hate of mine (completely irrationally, I know) is that I don't like meeting characters who already have pre-established relationships. I like to be at their side as they meet, as they fall in love or hate or whatever it is that befalls them. So for Rogue and her boys, I felt like a spectator, an interfering passer-by who was trying in vain to scratch the surface of a relationship that had already been in place for years. To this end, I am more hopeful about the series itself, as the 10 year gap will put me back on a more equal footing. Thirdly, I found that I kept needing to flick back to see which of the boys was narrating at the time. I'm sure their voices will become more distinct as we read, but the novella was short enough that it took a while to distinguish them. Yet the second half of Devil's Pass flew by, with my irritation at Chase for the cliche you-made-a-false-assumption-and-now-it's-going-to-screw-everyone-over-just-talk-about-it-you-idiot arc, my breath in my throat for Maverick's solo quest in defiance of his adopted father, and the bitter sadness that the ending left us enough. it was enough to whet my appetite to give Sinner's Playground a try, and I have great expectations that it will be as breathless and heart-stopping as their other books. Give it a whirl!

I’ve never read this writing duo before. Mostly because I’m waiting on series to be finished, lol, I’m a binge reader. I may have to make an exception though. This novella grabbed me so quickly and I couldn’t stop reading. “None of my boys came for me when I needed them like I never had before. This was short and packed full and I am dying to read more about Rouge and the guys. The book after this starts after 10 years and I can’t wait to find out where everyone is at when it begins! Also, that peek at Sinners’ Playground blew my mind!

I don’t know how these authors do it! I swear they have magical abilities. It’s the only answer I can come up with. After reading this novella I’m already hooked and need more of these characters. I absolutely loved this short story and can’t wait to read the series. Wonderfully written and easy to read. It’s a great intro to Sinner’s Playground but I absolutely need more. Captivating from the start and sucked me right in to the story.

Umm. Can you say obsessed? I decided give Devil’s Pass a whirl and oh my word, what a great decision that turned out to be! I immediately bonded with Rogue, something about her that just connected to something in me. She’s brave and fearless and just has this... energy to her. But she was also vulnerable and that didn’t really work out to well for her. The Harlequin boys though, Fox, Maverick, JJ, and Chase... those boys are something else. Love them, hate them... they’ll make you feel things, that’s for sure. Their bond, although fractured, is one I am living for. I cannot wait to dive deep into this new chapter of the lives because this crew? I have a feeling they’re going to own me completely.

wow, okay, how did a novella pack so much in an itty bitty package??? My heart has already been stomped all over and I haven't even read book 1 of the series. I call it an accomplishment if any book can create tears, and this book definitely does that. I'm still thinking about this book days later. All these kids have rough lives, and I'm over here suffering from a stubbed toe thinking bout' my life struggles. Puts life into perspective I'll tell you that for sure. But it's definitely a sad but beautiful book, because you get to see these kids and how they truly loved one another. But like I said, they're kids, and some of them make a big mistake, and you know what they say. Theres nothing like a woman scorned, so watch out boys. You'll be paying soon. Needless to say I can't wait until this book comes out. Need it. So i'll be here waiting...

Must read! I'm telling you do not skip this prequel. It is so unbelievably good but expect to be heartbroken by it. I was smart and waited to read this until the first book released and I downloaded both so I can start reading immediately.😁 I'm so glad I stumbled upon these authors when they released Darkmore book two and I'm now a fan for life. This prequel gives you a glimpse into each character and the depth of their feelings so worth reading but yeah I might have shed a tear or two or twenty. Really makes you feel their pain. Mav is so my favorite gotta love the psychos

When I first read that Susan & Caroline were bringing out a new series the excitement was surreal. I love all their work from the ZA world and knew this would be another smash hit. Then they spoilt us with Devil's pass which is the prequel novella to Sinners Playground and let me tell you.. it made me want to sin. These yummy yummy boys and another fearless, sexy, strong FMC are so good. The novella covers how things got to where Sinners Playground will start and I cant wait for the 13th November to arrive.... Read it now and be swept into these 2 sisters amazing world where they make you want to close up shop and move to an island where you can read all day.

Well I'll be damned. I'm hooked! This was bloody amazing. The Devil’s Pass is a novella in the A Harlequin Crew Series. It is set 10 years before the first book in the series - Sinners' Playground. It's where we meet Rogue and her guys Chase, Fox, JJ and Maverick. All these kids have rough lives, but they have each other and that's all that matters to them. They're chasing the future with a gleam in their eye. But then something happens and suddenly all they know is hurt. Fresh, unique and painfully affecting the feelings. Devil's Pass is designed to make an impression.

I read Sinner’s Playground before Devil’s Pass so I had a little knowledge of what was going to happen here, but Omgeezus it was still so good! I love this group and loved this snippet to get a feel for how happy they were before everything went crap and life just kicked them in the butts. This definitely makes me want to see the boys redeem themselves because they need to all be together again. They need it. I need it to happen. So much happens in such a short novella and it sets you up perfectly for Sinner’s Playground.. especially that last line!!

Dead lord, the twisted sisters did it again! I’ve already fallen obsessed with this new story and these new characters. My heart already aches for all the characters have already gone through. Like whew, WHAT A BACK STORY. I’m so excited they released the prequel and we get to understand how they used to be and just how betrayed our main character felt. I can’t wait to see the grownup versions of Rogue and her men! The new dynamics are going to be amazing. 10/10 get the prequel as we wait for Sinner’s Playground to release

Oh this pair knows how to write a book. So far everything I have read from them has been a stellar read. I read Sinners Playground which is the next book but even reading it and knowing what was to come still didn’t make this read any less gripping. Seriously an an emotional rollercoaster that likes will stomp on your heart but seriously read it! It’s so freaking good! You see the group as teens and you fall in love with them and then well crap hits the fan and you’re left broken. Don’t worry the next ones already available and you will want to read it too!

How these authors packed so much into so few words i don't know. I felt like I had just read a full length novel. All the characters were unique and detailed. I was able to see each individual personality vividly. I was drawn into their lives in such a short time I was surprised it was even possible. The plot was engaging and believable. I found myself rooting for the characters at points but also my heart breaking for them at other moments. This was brilliant.

A novella by Caroline and Susanne is pretty much a regular book for other people lol you would never know it was just a snippet of a much bigger story! It set the most perfect tone for what will be an amazing ride. I LOVED getting a glimpse at the characters in sunset cove.... I got just enough to fall In love then have my heart broken by the boys. I’ve been panting for this series ever since the Queens share a snippet with me. This prequel novella is set ten years before the main series starts. It does not disappoint. Little baby teenagers being teens and getting into trouble. Rogue and her boys are going to get into major trouble and subsequently put themselves in a dark path. This novella has me hooked on these new characters and series. Definitely give it a try if you’re into contemporary RH.

You promised a cliffhanger; you delivered! I mean it was a prequel and you warned us. I'm so excited whenever a new book in one of their series I've read is released or in this case a totally new series. These two ladies exceed my every desire as a reader. I cannot wait to find out what happens, and perhaps what has happened these last ten years since that rainy, muddy, deadly night! I'm ready to take up my shovel, err Kindle that is, and dig right in!

This little teaser is for a sassy orphan girl who grew up with a group of friends and was starting to see them as more then friends. Something terrible happens and the gangs fates had been sealed and it doesn't end happily. I have to say that I really quickly got into Rogues character. The boys sound hot but definitely need some work and the right woman to kick their butts. I can't wait to find out the story 10 years from this point. Get it NOW! You won't regret it.

I have loved each book in every series by Caroline and Susanne, so I was all in before I even started this novella introducing this new series. And it did not disappoint. Rogue was awesome, and I cannot wait to see her take on the guys who broke her heart. I am already hooked and am so excited for book one to come out in just a few short weeks. I like how this book started out different than most bully/ reverse harem stories. She was close to her boys before they became enemies and I liked that dynamic a lot better. This prequel let’s you know how they became a group and what led up to the feud that now takes place in the next book. It lets you know the characters and the motive behind each of them that allows you to have feelings for each knowing why they made the choices they did. I love it!

Another series I’m immediately hooked on! This novella lays it all out for you. You get to meet all the characters and learn their background just to be thrown into the angst that is sure to come with that type of cliff. The FMC is tough as can be and the men are so different from each other it’s going to be hard to choose who is the fave in the end. Right now you go from hating to loving but we all know book 1 can change so many things. Cannot wait for it’s release! I’ll need a lot more of the Harlequin crew!

You know when your reading a book and the whole story is based around events from the past? Usually girl loves boy or in this case boys, boys break girls heart and she come back with a vengeance. While most of the times authors can give you the general idea of what happened you still feel kind of needy and wanting more of their life before... a deeper look.and this novella delivers. Its the perfect foundation to what you know has to end in a great story. It leaves you in suspense knowing gahh they are 16 and going through it. It leaves you wanting to know how it made them grow and what its going to take to fix all the wrong. I really loved this lil tid bit into the past before the first book I really felt like I knew the characters before the first book started but man was I wrong... just start here and keep reading!

Great introduction to what I know will be a kick a$$ series! I can't wait to read more. This novella introduces Rogue and her boys Chase, Maverick, JJ and Fox and the terrible event that changed their friendship and lives forever. This series does involve gangs and all the dark matter that goes along with that kind of life. If don't mind reading about people getting their hands dirty then forge ahead. You won't want to miss out.

This novella sets up the new Series by our queens Caroline and Susanne. These are my one-click authors. They are amazing and if you have never read any of their books, start now. With this book. This short story sets up their new series and is definitely good to read before Sinner's Playground. They sucked me in with this short story! I love how well they set up relationships with characters. Sometimes books I read have characters that you really can't connect with and their relationships feel shallow. This novella sucks you in and breaks your heart in a short amount of time. I thought I knew where this was going, but I've read the book that follows this and I can tell you, it is not what you are expecting! It's so good and I want all the books now.

This is a great novella, setting us up for the series! It’s an addictive, dark and violent storyline as we follow this enemies to lovers romance! Well written this had me on the edge of my seat as we are introduced to some awesome characters. One kick ass female mc and four black hearted men , will this end well? Only time will tell. I’m very excited for the first book!

This novella will make you feel all the feels....so be prepared! I don't know how these guys do it, but Caroline and Susanne have created another world that I can't help but be sucked into. I was given an ARC for an honest review. This was a great background story to start this new series! In a short read I'm already in love with characters and feel emotions for all of them! This pre-quel will make you thirsty for the first book in this series to come out! Did I mention the organic teenager angst you get from this story! It is what makes you feel the realness between these characters!

First book by this particular pair of authors and I'm not really sure how to feel. The story was really good. And I preordered Sinner's Playground so I could jump right in but I don't know. There's something about the writing that is just keeping me from being fully enthralled. I felt like I was trying too hard to enjoy it and the effort took away from the overall experience.

When you have 4 best friends that will do anything for you and they are all guys life isn't easy. Life hasn't been easy for Rogue but the boys were her world and they always said they would be there no matter what for eachother. When things go wrong Rogue learns things with the boys aren't always what any of them wanted. It can and will get worst.

I mean wow! This novella knocked it out of the park and left me wanting more more more. First let’s start with the fact that this was hardly novella length- I got to know the characters, I can’t wait to read what happens when they get older, I fell in love with the dynamic. Sunset Cove...I wish I could live there. Seriously can’t wait to read more!!!

Love these writers and can't wait for this series. Just in this novella they give you backstory and really connect you to the characters. Don't be put off by the cover (I was). Fantastic start to a promising new series. These ladies manage to take less than 200 pages and introduce you to new characters who instantly grasp your attention! As a prequel to their upcoming series it accomplished everything it should have. I'm already in love with the five people who have been laid out before me and am DYING to read their story. I can't wait for the angst, heartache, and eventual love I know is to come. These authors are legit pros at dragging you into their created world and throwing you twist after turn. There's never a dull moment and always a gut wrenching cliffhanger that leaves you literally begging for more. If you haven't read anything by these two before this feels like it's going to be an amazing place to start.

This prequel Novella was perfect! It gave us an insight as to what happened 10 years ago before we pick up in Sinners' Playground. We also get introduced to teenage Rogue, Fox, Maverick, Chase,and JJ. I definitely fell in love with these characters in this novella. I highly recommend reading this first if you're interested in reading the Harlequin Crew series. As I think, it contains very important information and insight into each character. Ugh, it left my heart broken by the end of it and excited to start the series!

I was skeptical about this book series, because it didn't sound like something I would read....but just like i do with all of Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti 's books, i devoured it....now i REALL have to read it....that novella is just what you need to wet your appetite. The history/back story these ladies offered... the pain, the sacrifice, the regret- it’s palpable. The cliffhanger at the end?? It’s the perfect setup for an amazing series!

Omg what an great start to the series. I could not put it down and cannot wait for the next book. Its so hard having to wait but it will so be worth it. The characters are great and so many feels. I recommend to all adult book lovers to give it a try. I give it 5 out of 5 stars and two thumbs up. This is my kinda book.

I usually don't like prequels, this one stayed true to the extraordinary writing skills of Caroline Peckham and Suzanne Valenti. The best part is you don't have to wait long for book 1 The worst part is you have to wait for book 1. This was the best appetizer you'll ever have.

Perfect novella for building up the characters that all you want is to know MORE MORE MORE! Lots of dirt in these characters as teens and their start to gang life and love. I am now fiending for book 1. I am horrible at waiting.

This is a great novella that’s sets the stage for Sinner’s Playground. You get a more in-depth look at the events that happen before SP and the characters. You don’t have to read this one in order to understand SP, but I highly recommend that you do.

Honestly I love a good prequel, but not when its written either after the first book came out or, like in this case, there are parts that are different from what was written in the original story. It takes away from the story when one book describes taking her phone and smashing it on the ground vs he snapped it in half and threw it on the ground. Nit-picking, maybe, but isn't that what a true die hard fan does? Also in America, its Takeout. Not Takeaway. It ruins the ambience when the slangs are crossed over.

Devil’s Pass is the perfect introduction to the Harlequin Crew. It gives you a glimpse into who they were at 16, individually as well as a unit, and the defining moment that changed their lives forever. It’s both heart warming and heart breaking and sets it up nicely to rediscover the characters ten years down the road in Sinners’ Playground.

As a prequel this book does everything it should. It provides a teaser to the main story yet to come, an intro into the characters as well as providing enough backstory and intrigue to make you come crawling back for more. Read it...you wont regret it.

This novella - although I would hardly call this just a 'novella' since it has a larger word count than some of the novels I've read in the past - kicks off a new series by these two amazing authors. I got to know these authors through Everlake Prep and have been hooked ever since. Knowing how they like to build up the angst and tension, it came as no surprise that this novella was just that. Introducing new characters and a new plot that will for sure rip my heart to pieces on several occasions, but I digress. I totally recommend this novella to be read before you go in the first book of the series, as it gives you some background information you do not want to miss out on. You see a different side from the characters and what lead them to be separated in the first place and it adds to the character development because you get to see the different points of view and just know how they feel about each other. That in itself made this book a gutwrenching read, but as usual, the authors have a way of writing their story where they manage to balance that feeling out largely. It still packs a huge punch however, but I have faith in the journey these authors will take us on. The narrators are the same ones that did the Kings of Quarantine books and I really enjoy listening to them A LOT! They did a great job of giving personality to these characters.

Just when I thought these sisters couldn’t surprise me more than they have.....they hit me with this brand new series to rival all others! . . . . . . . . . . Whoosh and hayyyyy! I’ve been given some new reading material to pour my entire life into. This new series has me on pins and needles. This novella is set before the series so we all get to glimpse into the lives of these characters before age and life happens to them.......or more like death. The genius that is Caroline and Susanne have once again made sure I’m up to date in my most recent cliff dive too. Like HOW DO YOU PULL THAT OFF IN A NOVELLA? Well C&S was like watch this and boom. They drop you right on your head. I’m so excited about this series and can not wait to indulge in the characters of sinners playground!

This is an interesting novella which introduces the main character Rogue and her "boys" whom are her best friends. The author's do a great job of harnessing the angsty teen vibe from the boys point of view of struggling with their awakening feelings towards Rogue and the fear of change of growing up. They mix this with added struggles of living in a gang ridden town run by a murderous gang leader. This introduction provides a platform for the series where we will see the group grow from young love to adulthood filled with deeper darker feelings. This was a great start to I am to another addictive series by these authors.

I don't know how these authors do it. Now I am addicted to yet another series with just this prequel. This series is going to be amazingly addictive and I already know I will be going crazy for more. Just take my word for it and read this prequel before the first book in the series comes out. You will not believe how wonderful this story is and I know you will not be able to put it down until it is finished!

Honestly I wasn't really sure i wanted to read this series, but im so glad I did!! Im curious about the relationship side of the guys!! Maverick especially!! Its a revenge to love series and I am impressed that these ladies keep kicking out amazing series & just when u think they can't top the last series you get surprisingly stunned and captured by the new ones!!!

Just jump right in! This novella will captivate you and excite you for the books to come in the series. Immediately the characters draw you in and you can't help but love them. If you know these authors you know how well they create worlds and characters. If not, and enemies-to-lovers RH romance is your style you will want to read this.

This book lets you in on rogue and her boys and where they are and who they are, definitely need to read this before the sinners playground for a better understanding. It’s so heartfelt and heartbreaking!

Had me hooked from the first page! Rogue is a badass and the men are drool worthy! Susanne and Caroline have a way of drawing you in and leave you wanting more! Can’t wait for the next one!

Perfect prequel book! I’m already in love with all the characters and can’t wait to see how they’ve changed over 10 years. The only bad thing about reading this is now I can’t wait for Book 1.

This is the prequel novella to the Harlequin Crew series. This novella is set 10 years before the start of the series and gives a great background for why the relationship between these individuals is as broken as it is. This book isn’t necessary to read before starting the Harlequin Crew series, but it is definitely helpful with understanding the dynamic later on. This is a great quick read & this series is one you shouldn’t pass up.
