great for travel

this item arrived on time and in good condition. These are a must for travelling. I have a gps, compass, good sense of direction but I don't go exploring a new state without getting one of these to study and plan with. easy to use, sturdy construction, well laid out. I have 6 of these (not all Utah).

Old Reliable

Used gazetteers for years. Always good quality maps for outdoors use. Bought this for an upcoming 3 week trip to Utah backcountry. Thanks!

This is a MUST have if you like the outdoors!

I know we have electronics and phones .... when we have a signal, but there is something about being able to see it on paper and your destinations relative position to other sights. I lost one in a break up and immediately bought another. The additional information regarding lakes and fish and recreational information is great to have when you're on the road. Nothing more fun than going 'old school' and looking at a map! God forbid anything should happen I'd know where the roads lead!

If you haven’t ever picked up one of these gazetteers, why do you even bother?

Okay, yeah everyone has Google maps on their phone and whatnot. But what do you do if you’re out in the wild beyond cell phone coverage? You get lost and possibly get trapped and starve and die. None of this need happen if you just pick up one of these useful and awesomely awesome gazetteers. They also have stuff like your pitiful Google maps doesn’t, like points of interest and topographical maps. Oh, and these maps don’t use electricity and they don’t drain your data plan. Just buy one and you’ll thank me.

DeLorme is the best, no competition IMO

DeLorme makes the best maps. Period. Look no further.

Great resource!

Just what I need for off-road adventures.

Topographic atlas has lots of features to make hiking in the back country easier and more fun.

My husband was very pleased with the atlas. He has been using one that was published in about 1993.

A MUST HAVE

Excellent detail. A great reference and well worth the money.

It's Big

Maybe you're like me and didn't read the details about this and thought it would be a small folded over paper map. It's a book. See pic for reference. We brought it along the road trip just in case...but yeah. Maybe I'll take a gander through it now.

It Works!

Didn't get lost in Utah.
