Omg, Loved Deedee and Karim’s story. Their chemistry is hot from the start. Deedee finally told Cross how she really felt about him. That she loved him, but Cross did not feel the same way. So Deedee went running away straight into the arms of her true mate. Of course it’s not that simple...lol As their story unfolds, so many questions are answered and so many leaving you wondering who is Cross’s mate. Who is Delacroix. Happy reading. I can’t wait for the next book to come out. Love this series. I recommend starting from the beginning with, The True Mate series. You’ll be hooked and want to read all the series by Alicia Montgomery.

I was excited to be on Karim's home turf. I've liked him since he was first introduced. Fate put Deedee right there for him. She was handling events in her life very well, so she ran. Rejected by Cross, assaulted by a perverted old professor, saved from a sandstorm, ending up in Prince Karim's bed, she's been through a lot. I liked the ancient magic surrounding Karim. The descriptions were so clear, I could imagine it. Actually, I loved everything about Karim. His soft spot for his sister and Casper was so sweet. His battle with Deedee's father was especially tense and had me on the edge of my seat. I loved them together. I highly recommend this book. I am excited for Delacroix's story next in Shadow Wolf.

Once again another book that is amazing. I loved every page of this. The story was intricate like some of the previous and I love me a good time jump. This is a book I've read several times. I was eager for this one since DeeDee's story is one I've been looking forward to since Daric called her "Daughter of the Dragon" in Temped by the Wolf. I did not see the end coming at all. I wanted to strangle these two for their misunderstandings and nearly peed myself when Astrid tore Karim a new one. I love this series and these characters.

Whenever I want to read a story I know will capture my attention and pull me into a character's life, I pick up a "True Mates" story. Prince Karim is a wealth of hidden talent. A best friend. A Mysterious charmer. A full on alpha dominant. And a romantic heart. Seen previously in other's stories, his tale about a wild adventure with Dee ties up the Generations series nicely. Secrets, desires and duty all collide.

This book reached the top of a barometer of magnetism. Ms. Montgomery’s excellence is all over this book. I fell in love in every chapter and character. Superb all the way! If you are looking for an exciting and awesome read Ms. Montgomery has plenty of books you will love.

Karim is a prince but is also a mighty dragon tasked with protecting his people from danger. When betrayal and lies nearly devastate him and the crown, he finds the love and strength in Desiree, with the help of her dragon dad Creed, Cross and her two bodyguards. A great story. I really enjoyed it.

I love all the books in the True Mates series, but this is one of the best. The story of how the prince and DeeDee get together is so much fun to read. A great romance story between true mates! I especially love the dragon shifters! Great job, Alicia. Can't wait for the next story.

This was a great book! Prince Karin is back, and we find out exactly what type of paranormal being he is, and when he meets Deedee Creed, sparks fly! I enjoyed the mystery of this book a lot, and there was quite a bit of action. And of course the romance and HEA were fabulous too!

Loved it. I didn't read the book as soon as I purchased it. I waited until I had the time to read it from start to finish. Loved the characters. Everything was if I could see it as it happened in the story. You will really enjoy the journey. I did.

I enjoyed this book very much. It had a good story line and good action in it. We also got some questions answered about events in other books that had not been explained. It is also a fast read, you don't want to stop until the end.

The store of how Sebastian Creed was crafted adds to the mysteries in this book. I can usually guess who the villain is but this one took me by surprise. This is a great read that answers many questions. Lots of suspense, romance and great writing bring a truly delightful fairy tale to life! A must read. Alicia Montgomery has outdone herself in this!

I enjoy reading this book. It was a surprise as to who was the villian and didnt quite expect that since the person seems very nice and helpful. The interaction between DeeDee abd Karim was great and it has it moments. I love her True Mates Generation series.

Strong characters. Twisty plot with unexpected turns. DeeDee is strong, smart and independent. Karim is imperious and demanding. Dragons, wolves and mages oh..my.

This is a great series, I find I can't put the book down once I started it. It has romance & suspense. But definitely a HEA. Can't wait for the next one.

I believe this is my favorite of all the True Mates books. It has such heart plus plenty of action!!!!! I highly recommend the entire series.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 💋💋 This book was so scrumptious I had to eat it all in one sitting. Divine ! The characters now have become so real it’s almost like reading a story about friends or family. Prince Karim is a character we’ve met before in Julianna and Duncan’s book , so finding out how he ticks is pure ecstasy . He’s leader of a country that is rich , private but also it seems on the brink of internal mayhem. He’s troubled, passionate and emotional, but strong, secretive and has a voice like velvet. Sounds good right . Deedee we’ve met many times , the daughter of Sebastian Creed the only Dragon shifter. She’s confident and strong , independent. Now 30 she’s looking forward to finding the partner she spends her life with, but has she chosen the right one and is it his wish too. When Deedee escapes to the desert on an archeological dig for 6 months, she has no idea her life is about to change . Secrets will be revealed and past question will be answered. A brilliant book loved every page and couldn’t stop reading. I received an Arc copy of this book and chose to post this review

DeeDee behaves like a toddler having a tantrum. Karim tells her that it’s a sacred time in his country and there are severe sandstorms, sandstorms that DeeDee witnessed herself. He asks her to remain hidden for 1 week because outsiders are not permitted. However, DeeDee is a rotten, spoiled, miserable toddler and cannot follow simple direction for even 24 hours. Her inner-monologue is that she is the daughter of a powerful billionaire who will bring war to the country, if she doesn’t get her way. When Karim has a night-terror, she pouts that he must be dreaming of a supermodel. Because she can’t entertain herself for 24 hours, DeeDee manipulates the teenager who saved her in the sandstorm. It’s utterly laughable that DeeDee is supposedly a graduate of Cambridge and works as a professor doing field research, much less published anything. How could a person who doesn’t have the intelligence to think her way out of a wet paper bag sit down and write a paper, much less a dissertation, or a book? She might have had to focus for more than 12 waking hours and the author insists that DeeDee would rather get a teenager killed or jump out a 2nd story window than think of anything or anyone other than herself.

A wonderful story, Desiree is excavating in the desert and the professor and working with follows her out on her midnight walk. She's been warned by her friends he's a predator. Desiree dismisses the idea and decided she can handle him, and at a conference a few months ago he tried to get into her hotel room but she strategically blocked him coming in. On her midnight stroll she's away from camp the director makes a pass and she shuts him down completely, spurned and angry her finds a rock and hit her in the head not once but twice, he starts to rape her but is physically taken away, and then unconscious she is carried away right as a sand storm hits them. She awakes in a strange while having a strange dream of someone kissing her and in the bed as her. Karim the crown prince and ruler realizes its not a dream and demands to know how she got there and why since the borders and communication is cut off during their holy time of Easifat. She remembers nothing after being hit except someone coming to get rescue. Karim calls for his young valet and he confessed it was he who rescued Desiree. The story continues with them getting to know one another since their stuck with each other. It's a unique story of course and several of our old friends are included especially when daddy flies in to rescue her and now we have two dragons instead of one. It's filled with passion lots of action and twists and unforeseeable turns. This was a truly enjoyable book. I voluntarily received an advanced reader copy of this book.

Slowly, the couple all in love, but the Prince refuses to offer Dee the position as Queen, only as a mistress. The clan come for her and she goes back home. But Karem is never far from her thoughts. He comes to her begging for forgiveness and then a coup is staged on his palace. The mages along with his Aunt is behind the chaos, and Creed finds out what really happened to him almost 40 years ago. But can Dee be queen? A must read!

I think we have all been waiting for DeeDee's story. I know that a lot of people thought Cross would be her mate. That would have been way too easy. After finding out her feelings were not reciprocated, she makes a decision that will take her on an adventure she never imagined. Prince Karim never even saw her coming. But his responsibilities weigh heavily on him. The romance is an amazing ride, until it's not. A lack of communication, an overbearing father and a betrayal in the kingdom, make the journey for these two extremely difficult. The story is filled with action, mystery, family and love. We get answers. But with that we are left with more questions. The introduction of new characters is just a promise of books to come. Another amazing read for this author. I have been waiting for DeeDee's story since we met her and I will be honest and admit that I was totally shipping her and Cross. However, I should have known Alicia would not disappoint. I adored this story. I am a sucker for the arrogant guys (and who is more arrogant than a prince about to be king) who are brought to their knees by for one person. For Karim, DeeDee is that person. With two strong personalities, their road to happiness was not easy but so very worth it. Their individual moments of realizing what the other meant to them were excellent. I could read Karim's conversation with Duncan over and over. This story also answered some questions that have been hanging around in the series for a while and in true Alicia style, posed new ones. I just hope Delacroix and Jacob get their own stories. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.

From the beginning, you can see the mystery and the way the story would evolve. That doesn't mean there are no surprises. Frankly, the ending was WHOA. I kinda wanted them to go back to their sand storm and castle surrounded by only his stuff and a comfy bed.... Yeah, I wasn't meaning for it to be an innuendo. Meeting Karim, seeing Cross again, that little clue in on the troubles Cross faces with his heart... Sigh. Now that I have told stuff without giving spoilers, go READ THIS BOOK NOW! What are you waiting for? It will definitely blow your mind.

I really enjoyed this story! It was a great read and I really liked this one. We get to go to a different country this time. This book is a standalone read but it is book 6 in this spin off series. If you have read the previous book then you will have met Karim in the one right before this. DeeDee you would have met in multiple previous books. I loved getting to know these characters better. Karim was fascinating and their history with The Great One (dragon). This book had plenty to hold my attention. There was plenty of action and intrigue and quite a few twists that I didn't see coming. I liked it. I am looking forward to more books in this series and hopefully getting to come back to these characters in Zhobghadi. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I have been waiting for this book since well....since Deedee was born! I was soooo sure that when DeeDee found her mate we would have a hell of a time(thinking how her dad would react!) This is the 6th book in the series and i can say that the author didn't disappoint at all. I loved Karim and Deedee's story. Intricated fairy tale story with political and historical parts woven in it it was magical. Almost like reading the story of Aladdin with the magic lamp. I loved the whole vibe of this story and we got some answers over questions from previous books. A job well done for the author!!!! Great book!

An amazing read. Just when you think she can't get any better, she produces a totally new dynamic to the story lines and takes it to a new level entirely. Her charachters in this book are so well written, we knew Deedee couldn't end up with Cross, Karim though suited her to a "T". Now it begs the question who is going to be Cross's true mate and I bet that this will be the last book to be written in this current series of True Mates to come. Delacroix is still a mysteryl. (Penultimate book maybe in this series....). I loved how the baddies and the Mages were woven into this story with a bit more history explaining their current allegiances. All round major success and brilliant to read!

Alicia Montgomery has set a new standard for herself with this book! The plot of the story had me anticipating its arrival. The start of the book with the vivid pictures it created pulled me in. The story was nothing short of a surprise. You can tell from the beginning that this was a total labor of love. Not only does this book have the solid story and well developed characters Alicia Montgomery is known for but there's more! So much more! With out adding spoilers trust me when I say it's her best work ever! You will not be disappointed! I received this ARC copy in exchange for an honest review. My opinion is my own. I loved it. Instead, she was thrown into the arms of a handsome prince. Karim is suddenly the new king. Karim has too much to do, and he does not have the time for romance. Will DeeDee + Karim be able to get past their ghost and give love a chance ? Loved the characters + the storytelling ! It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book! I can't wait for the next book in this series.

WOW, another roller coaster ride!!!!! Another exciting addition to the True Mates series. The gang is all there again in times of trouble which adds even more enjoyment to reading the book for me. Especially Sebastian Sr. - one of my favorites from the original cast of characters. There was, as usual, touches of humor, sadness, hurt, lots of moments of love and caring, and so much more. Be aware there are several great surprises that add a lot of action to the story. Also new characters that I hope become novel heroes soon. In other words, another fabulous read and hopefully one in a long line of stories to come!!!

The story of Karim and DeeDee (Desiree) is absolutely one of my favorites. This book blends their love story with past unfinished storylines of the Creed Dragon and Daric/Meredith/Cross. The author’s ability to bring in those unfinished storylines but still provide a story that was surprising and riveting even though you know the characters end up together was awesome. An amazing story. I loved Deedee and Karim. Both have hot heads and forget that maybe there is a reason. But what fun would that be? Their emotions will definitely cause problems and lead to some adventures. We get to see several characters from previous books and meet some new ones. Karim’s little sister is a great addition and the Cajun, Delacroix, brings a new mystery. I have a feeling we will see him in the next books. The bad guys will show up and leave some interesting twists that also explain some of the histories. This book and series is always amazing and has fresh ideas. I hope they never end. I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of the book.

Once again this author has written another great book. There were things mentioned that I didn’t remember from previous books, but it’s been a while so that may be the issue. I don’t want to give any spoilers, but I love the new people we are seeing, and there are so many I would love to have a story for. The climax of the underlying story arc (not the romance) was a little anticlimactic. It may have been slightly rushed, but it didn’t take away from the romance. I’m looking forward to the next!

Alicia truly hit a home run with this one with all the unique customs, beliefs and history of a foreign country all woven together splendidly. I can not wait to read the next book in the series. I love this story. Theirs is a story hot from the start. Deedee almost dies because she’s attacked by one a professor on her dig in the desert. Ramin finds and brings her in to city even though it is forbidden for foriegners to be in the city during holy days of Easifat. Once in the city she can’t leave until Easifat is over. She leads him a merry chase and then there is his little sister. Sebastian is not happy at where his daughter is being held. The fight between Karim and Sebastian was great, two powerful men each wanting to protect Deedee. I can’t wait to read Delacroix’s and Jacob’s I really loved their interaction and abilities with the people we know already.

Ms. Montgomery has done it again with DeeDee’s story. I always thought that she would wind up with Cross but that isn’t happening. As the daughter of the “ only dragon” DeeDee is an intelligent, beautiful and independent woman. When her love of archeology lands her in the desert, lost in a sand storm her life takes a 180 degree turn. Secrets will be revealed along with some surprises. This series is terrific. I received this book as an arc and I am voluntarily writing this review.

OMG!! It was well worth the wait for DeeDee's story! Her and Karim's chemistry is off the charts hot! So many twists involved in this storyline, and I love how it goes back to DeeDee's father Sebastian. Can't wait for the next book! I would suggest reading Taming the Beast from the beginning True Mates series if you haven't already. This book gives you the answers to the questions. This was a fun read even if you have not read the other five books in the true Mayes Series. (Just don’t miss them too!) DeeDee is a good match for Karim- there’s action, new and exotic locations, & interesting people! The drama of betrayal & DeeDee’s family jumps in the middle of it to help! Her friends are hilarious, the characters are all very strong. I love a happy ending!! I was given a copy for my honest review- and am so glad!!!

I really enjoyed reading this story. It's full of drama and steamy passion. The characters are exciting with a relationship that is not like the other true mates but just as fascinating. There is plenty of surprises which is intriguing and believable. I really enjoy that the characters from past stories are featured it's what I enjoy the most. This is a very emotional story that gives you more background on Deedee's father.It's a great page turner which is entertaining and absolutely marvelous read.

This was a fantastic book. DeeDee Creed goes on an archaeological dig to get away from the heart break she is feeling. Between getting attacked during a sand storm & ending up in a forbidden country her life just got very interesting. This book follows DeeDee's adventures as she meets Crown Prince Prince Karim of Zhobghadi after being saved from her attacker & the sand storm. It also answers questions about her father that can only be found in Zhobghadi. I would most definitely recommend this book. Another "True Mate" story . DeeDee Creed the daughter of the only Dragon they know of, her mother a wolf as is she. She tells Cross how she feels about him and he tells her he doesn't feel the same! She leaves and goes on a dig across the country from New York. There she's attacked by a coworker and left for dead! But saved by a young man from the country no one should enter! There the Prince finds her and because of their "laws" she must stay hidden in his private rooms. Things take a turn when feelings start between her and the Prince! Great storyline with awesome characters! Love these true mate's stories...definitely recommend this!

What can I say? Another amazing True Mates story from Alicia Montogmery. I have read every single one of her books, from every series, and I love them all, but The True Mates books, are special. I loved Dee Dee and Karim's story. It was a perfect blend of sexy, fun, and exciting. I loved how she explained how Sebastian got his "dragon", and it did not take away from the main storyline at all. Sebastian now understands the full story of how and why he became one with a dragon, and all of his family knows the truth now, as well. Deedee and Karim took their time to warm up to each other, but in the end, true love kept them together. I also enjoyed learning about some of the newer characters, and I can't wait to find out more about them in the books to come. Alicia is a brilliant writer, and I look forward to reading every book, as it comes out.

I love this book! I have loved all the books in this series, but I hold a special place in my heart for dragons. With Deedee being The Daughter of the Dragon I always hoped she would be one. She’s not but she is one fierce wolf as she needs a strong man to keep up. This story gives you that and a lot more. Action, strong characters and a story that reads like it should be a movie. It just flows so well. I love it and can’t wait for the next book. I received an advance copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest and heartfelt review.

I love dragons, so the title grabbed me first. From the first page I was lost, so involved I was reading into the wee hours every night. I'm 73, but I babysit my 2 yr old granddaughter every day, so I can't read during the day. :( It took me 2 nights plus Saturday to finish. The chararecters come alive, the plot twists surprised me, which is unusual! I now plan to go back to the beginning of the series and read them all. I may even re-read "The Dragon's Daughter " when I finish the ofhers. :))

Montgomery shows her skills as a masterful storyteller yet again. The characters are well developed, and the plot has been thought out to give readers a view into the magical world of shifters, mages, and dragons. I love how Ms. Montgomery weaves her characters together to connect her stories. DeeDee's story is my favorite so far! Of course, this may change with her next book! This is a must read for anyone who loves reading about shifters. And the intimate scenes are a bonus!

This is my second favorite book out of this series so far. I don’t want to be a spoiler alert but I knew there might be another you know what. Karim left his playboy ways behind to get his True Mate Deedee. This was a pretty long book but it was so worth it. I am glad Cross and Deedee were able to put their awkwardness behind them. I can't believe how many books she has written and finds new ways to surprise us. This was a great story about Deedee finding a way to move on from her childhood crush and find her strength to stand on her own. Being a crown prince is hard and when you have The Great One to also deal with, life can become complicated. These two are being pulled together by fate but must find a way to trust each other.

Another good story to the series,this is about Deedee daughter of the only dragon left they think. After Cross tells her he doesn't feel the same way as she does Deedee goes on a dig gets lost and is found by a servant of the Prince that's when the things start to get interesting. Great drama,mystery,twists and some answers are learned. The chemistry between Karim and Deedee is hot. Enjoyed the story. Voluntarily reviewed.

Wow what another great book by Alicia Montgomery.!!! I enjoyed reading about DeeDee and Karim. I also loved Getting the backstory on how Sebastian became a dragon. This book will keep take you on a emotional rollercoaster for Sure. Now I have to wait with baited breath for the next book to come out. I can’t wait!

Deedee Creed has a broken heart and she goes n an archeological dig to get away from everyone. She is walking around in the desert where a freak sandstorm sweeps her up and ends up in a mysterious prince arms. Nobody is suppose to be in the country during that time. Crown Prince Karin is the bearer of the Great Ones mystical creature that flies and protect their people. He can't seem to distance himself her no matter how he tries and she can't seem to think straight around him because of their feelings for each other .

I was a total cross and deedee fan. I was upset to learn he wasn't her mate but Karim was perfect for her. I ended up being glad it wasnt cross though I can't wait for his book!!! Of all the true mates Sebastian and Jade story was the best! When you started on the children of the true mates you truly made it better and better. Not giving away any details on how dragons are made, (I love your other series Blackstone) these books just keep you wanting more. I can't wait to hear who knocked up Grant and Frankie other daughter😉😂

Another great story in the True Mates series. These characters, from the prince’s ward to the mysterious “shadow wolf” grabbed your heart and interest. The story plot kept your attention throughout. Now I am waiting on the next book with the “Cajun” and hoping to find out what is going on with Cross.

I really like this series. The stories continue, but they don't really end in cliff-hangers. I thought this would be the last one, but we meet someone new in this book and I believe Cross has someone in his past which will bring on another book. I'm looking forward to the next book.

This was a long series but we made it . She tied everything together perfectly. Any previous questions I had were answered. You need to read each book in order to get the best out of the series. You will enjoy them. I recommend this book Heck I recommend the whole series. Great job Alicia.

Although I was disappointed that Cross wasn't the True Mate featured in this book, I did enjoy the story. I thought that the author did a good job of weaving together the continuing story of the mages and also incorporated background on what really happened to Sebastian Creed. I read an ARC of Daughter of the Dragon provided by the author and chose to leave a review.

Deedee is strong and independent trying to shake off her family's influence and finds love. All she ever wanted was to be an archeologist and she ends up being a queen. In the process sexual harrassment/ almost assault, jealousy, intrigue, power struggles, and so much more is thrown in to the mix. Great story!

DeeDee is one of my favorite characters. I was so excited when her book came out. This book holds a lot of emotion becuase of everything DeeDee goes through. The adventure is absolutely captivating. Hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. Happy Reading.

Great story. The attraction between Deedee and Karim is immediate. They overcome one misunderstanding after the other. The best part was an explanation of how and why Deedee's father, Creed, became the golden Dragon. A new character is introduced which leads into the next book (still waiting for Cross's story).

Daughter of the Dragon is great! It's so good that I had to read it twice. In fact the whole series is good. It's like nothing I've read so far in the paranormal genre and I read a lot of this genre. I recommend you read True Mates and True Mates Generation. They are worth it.

Waited for this book with baited breath. I was not disappointed. This book had everything. If you have not read books from Ms Montgomery you should. Her books are awesome and they keep getting better

This was a fantastic paranormal romance. A story filled with excitement, steam, and romance. What an amazing story ending with an unexpected twist. It was binge worthy reading til the end.

I loved this book. The story was well developed and the characters were so well defined within this story, you had no issue living them. The chemistry was great and the ending was great.

Sad to hear the series is ending and so many characters may it be getting a story, I hope she does cross! I LOVE THIS series have read all the connecting stories but this is one of my favorite ones besides astrids I love it and love how all the characters connect in the stories as on big family here’s till February for the next one..

Loved Deedee and Karim's story. Enjoyed reading Deedee's adventures and how all of her family came together when she needed help. I'm intrigued about Cross. Hopefully, we'll get to read his story.

I was unsure of the last book but this one is back on track and 100% amazing. I really enjoyed this story, it had everything you could want in a book. This series has moved on around 30 years, but it is lovely to catch up on the old ones, and to learn more about our first dragon. The characters are just perfect. They just pull you in, and you don’t want to leave. Deedee's and Karim's story more than makes up for the last book, which I liked but thought not as good as a usual.

I like how this book was sweet and endearing, but still hot and sassy! I also loved the new dragon and how that intertwined history comes back to the Creed family!

I can’t get enough of Alicia’s “True Mates” series. I have read all of her books and these are filled with lots of action, emotions, and of course romance and sex. I look forward to the next one!

This story has a very compelling plot and interesting characters. So many misunderstandings between the couple made the drama more real life than fairytale but in a good way. I like a Story where the twists and turns are not predictable.

This book is a page turner. There is a little mystery mixed in with a budding romance. I was excited to learn more about a prior main character. The twist on "who done it" was totally unexpected. I volunteered to read an advanced copy of this book.

These series are lighter reading. I’m a bit of a psycho reader so I will sit and read a whole book in one sitting, usually 4-6 hours start to finish, great series with a captivating story line.

This is 3.5 for me......I really enjoy this series and this author and for the most part this book doesn't disappoint. Deedee is a strong, independent woman. She is highly educated and well traveled in her chosen profession. She is super cute, funny and just plain entertaining. Astrid is one of my fav's and she reminds of her mother's character, Meredith, so I always love when she shows up in a story and here she is a scene stealer. The story is well put together and keeps you totally involved and into it from beginning to end. Karim was a very, very interesting character, especially his past and the connection he ends up having to Deedee's family. But..... So, why not 4 or 5 stars like everyone else. Well, this story contains one of my biggest pet peeves in this genre generally, one which sometimes is believable and works with a story but sometimes just really doesn't. Here is just really didn't work and wasn't I didn't think is was believable. Deedee being a 30 year old virgin didn't work for me, at all. She is born and raised with a strong set of parents and siblings. She is very smart, well traveled and per her own description wasn't out to save herself for anyone, including her crush Cross (she pretty much knew they weren't true mates), yet somehow she makes it 30 a virgin????? Also didn't like the way Karim viewed that at all, he was thrilled he could train her up basically to how he liked and of course he was a total playboy who only ever had lots of casual sex apparently. Just don't see that as believable. One of her first genearation books - Fated Mates about Alynna and Alex had a similar story line, but it worked there because Alynna was much younger and forced totally alone and forced to care for herself, so no opportunity or life experience made sense there. Doesn't make sense to me here. And...while I understand it's about my personal like or dislike of certain elements, I just couldn't give it a full 5 stars because of it.

Desiree (DeeDee) May be running from her broken heart but I think her broken heart made her run right into the arms of her True Mate! Fate plays fickle games with DeeDee and Karim; they are both completely and utterly clueless to the pull of their mate and instead run around in circles with their miscommunications and assumptions. It’s definitely a merry go round but in a hot and steamy way and I loved reading every minute of their story. My favorite moment in the story though was the moment that it finally dawned on DeeDee that Karim was her True Mate because it was like everything aligned up for her and she was determined to fight for him and their future! I love the story that plays along and links DeeDee’s dad to Karim just revealing more of the storyline but also showing how it was their destiny!! Love...love...love Alicia Montgomery she’s incredible!!!!

The storyline is very exciting. You will love the characters personalities. Desiree aka Deedee is a spunky half wolf half Dragon shifter. She works as a professor of archeology at a university. Deedee is on a dig when a fellow professor attacks her. She is rescued by a young man named Ramin. Ramin is the ward of the Dragon shifter Prince Karim. When though it is forbidden to bring a stranger into their country. Ramin sneaks Deedee into Karim's bed! When she comes to Karim informs Deedee she can not leave for at least a week! Even though she is very attracted to him. Deedee sets out to escape. Can Deedee escape or will she lose her heart to Karim?

Man, DeeDee's life really did not turn out like she was thinking it might. I mean, she always thought she would end up with Cross, for starters. This book has so much adventure to it. Actually I feel like each book in the series takes things up another notch into the unexpected. Prince Karim has a country to protect, secrets to keep, and a lot goin on. DeeDee totally crashed into his life, not by choice. Their love story is like a whirlwind. Other characters from previous books do make appearances and there is an ongoing story arc that flows through each but this could be read on it's own as well. It was a fun read and hard to put down!

This is officially my favorite story in this spin-off series. It's only fitting as "Taming the Beast", which is the story of Deedee's parents, was my first "True Mates" book. I fell in love with the series then and that love continues with every new book. If you are looking for some great binge-reading material, I suggest starting with book one in the original "True Mates" series and keep reading until you finish this wonderful story. DeeDee and Karim, what a story! Just met Karim in the last book. Their story begins in a far off land. He is amazed that she is a wolf and she’s flabbergasted that he is a ....wait for it......dragon! But wait! Her dad, Creed is the only dragon! Not anymore. This book also explains Creed’s beginning as a dragon. I could not put this book down. Received the ARC before Thanksgiving and even though I should have been cooking and cleaning, I read this book! Loved it! Can’t wait til the next one.

This is the sixth book in the True Mates Generations series. It's a fast-paced and standalone book that will keep you engaged from start to finish. In this story, questions are answered but more questions pop up. If you love books about sexy shifters and the strong women they fall in love with then you need to read this book. I absolutely loved this book I'm not exaggerating either I really did. This is the the sixth book in this series definitely not your typical fairytale romance. Which I loved. We also finally got the answers to DeeDee dad dragon. Overall a enjoyable and entertaining read. This is by far the BEST book of the series so far. Dee travels half way around the world to get away from heartbreak, so yes, basically running from her life to dwell on a dig, and what shall she find? Oh I can't tell you that, but I will tell you, there is more than 1 dragon in the world and Creed isn't a happy camper. Excellent story line, once again, and the characters are amazing.

I absolutely loved this book and was honored to have been able to read and review. It was such a phenomenal read and had amazing characters as well as an amazing story line. Really enjoyed this fairytale romance. The prince and the archeologist what a pair they make. A few pop ins but sense set in a different country not as much as in previous books. Daughter of the Dragon went in a whole new and exciting direction. Some, but definitely not all, questions are answered, and there are new intriguing characters added. Dealing with the evil mages is still a challenge, and the mages have also added a few new twists. The next book needs to be published sooner rather than later...just sayin'!
