This book looks at a person' emotional intelligence. Specifically, the author examines social skills and ability to communitcate. What I liked about this book was that thw author showed where these skills can be used in real life. For example, when discussing needing to be aware of body language, the author looks at politicians and how we the viewer can interpret their facial and body movements to tell us what they really mean. Also, when looking at persuasion, the author examines how parents can use some of these "dark psychology" skills ro help communicate better with their kids. Overall, I thought this book had some really great insights.

Only purchase if you have very little knowledge on any topic covered. The NLP section is a joke.

This book is the biggest scam I have seen in psychology. Not only is the writing quality less than that of a middle schooler with a large vocabulary, the book barely gives information on any of the topics besides learning how you yourself think in the first chapter. Having just graduated high school and passing AP Psychology with a substantially good grade. I can say that this book is hugely mistaken as a good source. The name Benedict Goleman barely even pops up online and is not even a credible source. In fact the name Goleman comes from famous psychologists who lived in the early 1900s! I read about three sections in thinking the later parts of the book would redeem itself, it did not. If you are looking to learn about human nature, then you are much better off reading a psychology textbook or forums online. This book is full of vague information with very little truth behind it, generalizing everything to a few small key points. Please, do not buy this book. It will teach you little to nothing if you already know anything about psychology. Thanks for reading all the way through :)

This 6 book collection goes into explaining dark psychology, as well as NLP, emotional intelligence and cognitive behavioral therapy. It talks about the different psychological disorders associated with dark psychology how to recognize them, how they differ from each other, and how to identify abusive behaviour. This is a good resource to have it is full of information and is very well written.

These books can help you decide it another persons energy toward you is destructive. Learning to take notice of your reaction you can better yourself by taking the challenges of being grateful and positivity. This will strengthen you. Awareness is power.

This book starts off with psychology , what it is and the history .Then discusses ways to analyze people .Also ways to tell when someone is lying and learning body language . There is just so much to learn in this set of books. I would definitely recommend .

I got this book for my niece. She loves to read about Psychology. She has enjoyed it; I got to skim through it before I gave it to her and found it more interesting than I thought it would be. I'm planning on getting a copy for myself.

Interesting book, very knowledgeable

This book is false advertisement. I will not read it as upon receiving this book I noticed that any reputable book would have bibliography, a works cited, and or/anything notating that there was some sort of peer reviewed study(several) that was published backing up the authors claims. This book was self published, and any village idiot with mama’s money can get a book published. The onus is on me for being drunk and carelessly purchasing this item. But buyer beware, this person, without having read the book, is a snake oil salesmen. He does not have any studies, nor education backing up his expertise. This book can only be held as satirical at best. Or for the more empathetic, a sad review on your society’s inability to rein your village idiot. It even had a preface in the book stating they’re not experts and are not legally binded by that.

About to place an order. As a human and spirit guide, this definitely gives me the chills not as much as the goosebumps growing up ahaha . Even though this book is about dark psychology, it gave me a very good crash course in psychology itself. Reading this book I realized how a lot of other books on leadership have used basic psychology principles. If you are a frequent reader of books on leadership, negotiation, habits forming, business management, etc., perhaps you should read this book as well to get a good grasp of the basic principles that you will see in a lot of other books.
