This New York Times bestselling cookbook from Danielle Walker presents 125 recipes for grain-free, dairy-free, and gluten-free comfort food dishes for holidays and special occasions.

NAMED ONE OF THE FIVE BEST GLUTEN-FREE COOKBOOKS OF ALL TIME BY MINDBODYGREEN

When people adopt a new diet for health or personal reasons, they worry most about the parties, holidays, and events with strong food traditions, fearing their fond memories will be lost along with the newly eliminated food groups. After suffering for years with a debilitating autoimmune disease and missing many of these special occasions herself, Danielle Walker has revived the joy that cooking for holidays can bring in Danielle Walker's Against All Grain Celebrations, a collection of recipes and menus for twelve special occasions throughout the year.

Featuring a variety of birthday cakes, finger foods to serve at a baby or bridal shower, and re-creations of backyard barbecue standards like peach cobbler and corn bread, Danielle includes all of the classics. There’s a full Thanksgiving spread—complete with turkey and stuffing, creamy green bean casserole, and pies—and menus for Christmas dinner; a New Year's Eve cocktail party and Easter brunch are covered, along with suggestions for beverages and cocktails and the all-important desserts. Recipes can be mixed and matched among the various occasions, and many of the dishes are simple enough for everyday cooking. Stunning full-color photographs of every dish make browsing the pages as delightful as cooking the recipes, and beautiful party images provide approachable and creative entertaining ideas.

Making recipes using unfamiliar ingredients can cause anxiety, and while trying a new menu on a regular weeknight leaves some room for error, the meal simply cannot fail when you have a table full of guests celebrating a special occasion. Danielle has transformed her most cherished family traditions into trustworthy recipes you can feel confident serving, whether you’re hosting a special guest with food allergies, or cooking for a crowd of regular grain-eaters.

Celebrations an Essential Paleo Resource!

If you are Paleo by necessity (or have someone in your life who is): this is the book you’ve been waiting for! My Christmas dinner last year was a couple of boiled potatoes and a few slices of the (conventional but at least gluten free) ham my husband made. A few family members (we do Christmas as a pot luck) mentioned afterward that they knew I couldn’t eat what they were bringing, but were stumped for a Paleo option. For as great as the Internet is, it becomes a game of roulette when you’re searching for special occasion recipes – recipes you’re going to make once and don’t necessarily have time to test beforehand. That’s what is great about Danielle Walker’s recipes – they are foolproof. I have been Paleo for almost three years and have made countless recipes from her website and now all three of her cookbooks, and have yet to have a recipe fail me! Every possible event from New Year’s Eve, to a baby shower are covered in Celebrations; big meals (with the recipes scaled appropriately to save you the math) and small plates and seasonal treats are included, with gorgeous photos of every recipe throughout. The recipes I’ve tried so far have all been winners: - Buffalo wings with herb ranch dressing (p. 53) - Chile garlic rapini (p. 80) - Lemon bars (p. 117) – this was one of my favorite desserts as a child and I’m so glad to have it back in my life! - Skillet “corn” bread (p. 131) - Margarita (p. 135) – yes, really! - Mini “corn” dog muffins (p. 143) - Heirloom tomato, watermelon, and basil salad (p. 168) - Special sauce (p. 172) – great on burgers, eggs, pretty much anything! - Blackened salmon (p. 177) – great as chicken, too - Truffled bacon deviled eggs (p. 187) - Butternut sage carbonara (p. 224) - Roasted garlic mashed cauliflower (p. 237) - Pumpkin spice latte (p. 263) – works as a creamer, too! - Blender bread (p. 323) - Whipped coconut cream (p. 331) The only things missing – and this is as someone spoiled by Danielle’s first two cookbooks – are clear cooktimes at the beginning of each recipe and a picture index of the recipes. These formatting preferences aside, Celebrations is the essential special occasion resource for anyone following a Paleo template.

Cause for Celebration

I have all of Danielle Walker's cook books and love them all. Celebrations does not disappoint. Actually, I think her cook books just keep getting better. This one is separated according to the different events we celebrate in life. From most major holidays to a birthday party to a Super Bowl party, you will find something in here for everybody! Some of my favorites are Cauliflower Buffalo Bites, Sweet & Sour Meatballs, Cupid's Arrow Pancakes, Skillet "Corn" Bread, Curry Pumpkin Soup, Roasted Autumn Harvest Salad, Herbed Drop Biscuits, Green Bean Casserole with Crispy Shallots, Apple Sausage Stuffing, Grain Free Wraps, Sausage Breakfast Casserole and her Blender Bread. Those are just some of the savory dishes. That's not even mentioning the sweets! Some of the recipes are super easy, some of them are a bit more complicated, but I have yet to try one I didn't like. If you want to recreate some of your celebratory comfort foods, but need to eat a grain free, dairy free diet then this book is a great choice!

Another incredible book from Danielle Walker!

My husband is on a strict diet by choice and I am on a strict diet by necessity and it's such a relief to be able to pull out this cookbook and just make anything I want out of it knowing it meets all our needs. It's a relief that Danielle has spent so much time really figuring out which foods are in their purest form and which ones you should stay away from. Her cookbooks are my greatest asset in the kitchen. Everything I've made from them has always turned out great. I've taken so many dishes to parties and no one ever had a clue they weren't filled with flour and refined sugar. If you want to eat the foods you love without all the terrible ingredients you've got to get Danielle's books!!

everyone needs this cookbook

This is my new favorite cookbook. If you eat a paleo diet, or just are looking to clean up the way you eat, this cookbook is for you. Danielle walks you through every holiday with a full menu of recipes to enjoy. But, if you think this cookbook is only for the holidays, you are very mistaken. These recipes can be used year round. When you start out with a diet change, it can feel incredibly overwhelming. When a holiday comes, it's easy to fall off the wagon. The menu plans in the cookbook take out the guesswork and make planning easy. The recipes all look and sound delicious, and aren't made with absurd ingredients that are hard to track down. I live in a small farm down, and am able to find everything needed with ease.

A must-have kitchen staple

This cookbook is a must-have kitchen staple in a home with an autoimmune disease sufferer. The mother of a teen young lady battling UC, I have found Ms. Walker's cookbooks extremely helpful. She has taken most of the work out of trying to "adapt" recipes so they are tasty and keep ingredients out that may instigate disease symptoms. We still have to make minor changes sometimes but find that the Against All Grain cookbooks require fewer changes than other books. Thank you for doing all the hard work and for sharing your wealth of knowledge. We have used this cookbook's recipes for birthdays, Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays and will be using it for many celebrations to come. Not the best photo, here is the first cake we made from this cookbook: vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. When someone in your family suffers from an AD, it is beyond a blessing to be able to still give them treats such as this.

Love this book!

I seriously love this book. I've only made a few things out of it, as it's clearly for special occasions. However, with Thanksgiving having just passed we had a good chance to test some stuff out. As always, Danielle didn't disappoint! We've made ( and loved) the leg of lamb, green bean casserole, chicken chili soup, buffalo cauliflower, and a cake! Can't wait to try out even more stuff!!

Another wonderful Paleo cookbook from Danielle Walker!

I can not say enough positive things about this incredible cookbook. What is so special about Celebrations, is how Danielle has remade all those iconic meals that you eat during holidays and celebrations, but into healthier, paleo versions. She has recipes for New Year’s Eve, Game Day, Valentines, Easter, Mother’s Day luncheon, Father’s Day Cookout, Birthday Parties, Fourth of July Barbecue, Summer Shower, Halloween, Autumn Dinner Party, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Not only does she include incredible, well tested, reliable recipes, she also has filled the book with so many tips and tricks. Most recipes have tidbit notes on how different brands of paleo products fair in the recipes, or make-ahead tips to simplify a party prep. The front of the book is filled with more grain-free recipe tips and ten wonderful tips for effortless entertaining. And just like her other two books, she includes an extensive ingredient glossary and substitutions and her recommended kitchen gear. The recipe index in the back makes for simple holiday meal planning. You can access all the nutritional data for each recipe online. One of my favorite little perks- this cookbook LAYS FLAT ON IT’S OWN. Which is basically mind-boggling to me and makes cooking so much easier. Even though the recipes are geared towards holidays, they are simple enough and delicious enough to make as part of an every day meal as well. These have been added to our regular rotation. My family doesn't eat paleo or have any dietary needs, and yet they have loved these recipes just as much as I have. The recipes cook up like traditional non-paleo recipes, but in a healthier way, which is really fantastic. I don't feel the need to make 2 separate dinners for paleo and non-paleo people. I have cooked through many of the recipes including: - A,B,&J Hand Sandwiches (pg. 144) - Deviled Eggs, Four Ways (pg. 187) - Skillet "Corn" Bread (pg 131) - Mini "Corn Dog" Muffins (pg. 143) - Chocolate Cake (pg. 152) - Vanilla Buttercream (pg. 160) - Lemon Bars (pg. 117) - Pumpkin Spice Latte (pg. 263) - Gingerbread Latte (pg. 272). I promise, this cookbook will not disappoint!

Best Grain Free Recipes Around!

Danille Walker's "Against All Grains" is an incredible cookbook. My family and I have loved pretty much every recipe that I have tried so far-a considerable number! I used the "Celebrations" book and made a grain free Thanksgiving meal this year. No one had any complaints and the general consensus is that they wouldn't have even notice if I hadn't mentioned it. I have been gluten free for close to 10 years and have been refining my diet to exclude corn, oats, and other grains and starches often used in GF recipes. The recipes offered in Walker's books are by far superior others I have tried. Great job Danielle Walker!

Without exaggeration one of the absolute best cookbooks you could own

Without exaggeration one of the absolute best cookbooks you could own. Danielle Walker is an exceptionally thoughtful and talented cook and baker, with ample testing going behind each one of her recipes. If you choose to be Paleo, or are on an allergen free diet for medical reasons this will be your guide book to all things navigating holidays. I miss bread, and the occasional sweets, but mostly just not feeling like everyone else at the dinner table. I have tried multiple recipes out on my family, and majority of the time they are asking for seconds, or the recipe. Danielle has mastered the balance between feeding a community in desperate need of good and healthy food for our bodies, while satisfying all audiences who may never know what they are missing. I always walk away from a recipe of hers, encouraged at the ease (in how she writes her instructions and in the process overall) and feeling WELL. When you eat well, you feel well. Food is medicine, and you can still enjoy fudge too. Paleo fudge at least...in moderation! :)

So much to love in this one

So much to love in this one! Purchased this in the fall and have happily followed the holidays & seasons of the book. So impressed by much of the baking, which I think is the most difficult part of paleo or grain free. The gingersnaps are ridiculously good; made them four times in December. The 'cornbread' was a hit with family over Thanksgiving with many recipe requests and surprise once I mentioned the bread to be paleo. Could go on and on, am once again thoroughly impressed by the work Danielle Walker puts into these recipes. This book is especially valued as someone with Celiac Disease, holidays are often stressful and require more meal pre-planning than usual. These recipes are so delicious those who don't have any medical dietary restrictions will be more than happy to eat them all!

In Love!!!

We recently discovered Danielle Walker when I found her marshmallow recipe online. I have 3 little kiddos (3 yr old, 1 yr old, and the other still baking) and we don't do refined sugar, so recipes can be hard sometimes. We use to do a lot of monk fruit as a substitute, but it tends to have an aftertaste in many recipes. In her book, she uses mainly honey, maple syrup, or coconut sugar, and sometimes maple sugar. We've made about 10 different recipes and love this book! It's a hit with our family. We read ingrediants on everything and love that Danielle does too💗

Delicious, easy, multiple allergy friendly recipes

What a fabulous cookbook! Having major food intolerances to egg, dairy, gluten, yeast (plus reactions to other foods as well), I had begun dreading mealtime. I have made a few recipes from Danielle’s blog over the years and thought that this cookbook looked like it might help me find some joy in cooking (and eating) again. It is fantastic. Easy to make dishes (with easy to find ingredients) that please the entire family. She gives alternate recommendations for substitutions when possible. Her recipes help me focus on what I enjoy about eating and cooking ... not about what I can’t eat. ❤️

For those who are completely committed to eating a super healthy diet with a fancy spin

I purchased this book because a family member had it on display while visiting. When I went through the cookbook, I felt the recipes were too much of a challenge for me to put energy into. For those who are completely committed to eating a super healthy diet with a fancy spin. This is your book. I regifted it to the Whole 30 cousin in law & they were happy!

Great for an SCD-friendly Thanksgiving dinner

Used several of the recipes to make Thanksgiving dinner for my family. My husband follows the SCD diet and we had a hard time finding options he would be able to eat, but this book has several. I do wish there were some "simpler" recipes. Many of them are more complicated than I would like with too many ingredients. Great for someone that entertains a lot, though.

Cue the Confetti

Celebrations is worth celebrating!!! As a mixed dietary needs family, this cookbook provides so many options that are pleasing to everyone in our family. It has been stained and used over and over and I have both hardcover and Kindle versions. I've also gifted it to several people and recommend it repeatedly. Think of your family favorite recipes and they're likely in here made allergy friendly (and tasty!). The Marshmallows are on regular rotation in winter months and Blender Bread is easy and versatile for many recipes such as Egg Benedict Strata. One of my personal favorites is her magical Whipped Cream - yes, it's dairy free and it tastes like the real deal!!!

Great Cook Book - Highly Recommend

We have all Danielle's books and was really looking forward to purchasing this one. We have not had one recipe that she had in her that we didn't love. We rate all the recipes that we prepare on a scale of 1 to 5. With being bad and 5 being great. We have never had a recipe by Danielle that has been rated less than a 4 with most being 5's. Her recipes are always great. And those in this book appear to be fantastic . The pictures with the recipes are unbelievably good and the directions, as usual, are easy to follow.

Love this cook book

I'm breastfeeding and my son is currently allergic to dairy so I had to start eating dairy free. My sister wanted this cook book for Christmas. I got it for her and loved it so much I got myself one. The recipes are delicious and easy to make. I started following her on Instagram and I just love her down to earth personality. I can't wait to buy more of her books.

You need this boot!

All of Danielle Walker's recipe books are AWESOME. I haven't made a recipe I haven't loved. Makes Paleo eating a piece of cake- and yes, you can have cake (lots of recipes in the book). I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and chronic neurological pain, and going Paleo has helpeded so much. Good food is medicine but it doesn't have to taste like it, and Danielle Walker shows you how to make it not only palatable, but absolutely scrumptious.

Great healthy cookbook

This book arrived promptly ( earlier than expected and was in excellent shape (better than described). The recipes look delicious and healthy-although I have only tried a couple of them. Everything is well explained. I am very pleased with this purchase and would buy again.

She and her recipes are amazing!!!

I have made numerous recipes from all of her books and they always taste great! Danielle uses ingredients that are not "weird" or hard to find like some others use. She has gone way above and beyond to make healthy food taste good, children approved as well! You will not be disappointed if you buy any of her books! I choose to eat and feed my family a gluten and grain free diet, we do not any any autoimmune disorders. This is the way everyone should be eating no matter what the situation......eat real food with real ingredients! Danielle is a wealth of knowledge....follow her and you will see for yourself!

Beware of by muting used....great book

First, I really like Danielle walkers other cookbooks and this one does not diss a point either. Tried a few recipes and oh so good. Now, I did do a reseller and bought used and recently going through the book in more detail looking for specific recipe I found four pages torn out. Was originally listed in excellent condition....nope. Not when pages are torn out. Didn’t realize it until about 5 months later so huge bummer. If you buy used, check thoroughly when receiving.

Yum!

I’m made several things from this book and never been disappointed. Since trying to get healthy post baby & autoimmune struggles, Danielle’s recipes have kept me on track & for the first time in almost 4 years, I feel like me again. Her Dairy Free Ranch has been a major staple. Desserts and breakfasts are the other two areas I use the most. You will not be disappointed by this book.

It is a lovely book, but I was hoping ...

It is a lovely book, but I was hoping to have a more meal planner type cookbook. However, if I want to make desserts in the future I am sure this will be very helpful. It had more dessert recipes than meals.

Best Gluten-free recipes I have found! And dairy free to

I love this book! Finding gf foods that are delicious are so hard to find!! The recipes are delicious.. not all simple.. make sure you go through all the recipes and make a list of ingredients.. I thought I had most, but she uses some things that aren’t that easy.. we eat organic on top of it. So just watch for the food ingredients that are in the book.. some I found on amazon. Just ordered another book..

Absolute favorite cookbook ever

WOW! This cookbook is a MUST HAVE! Not only for holidays and celebrations, but for any day of the week. There are so many wonderful recipes in this book and you can mix and match so many main dishes with sides and desserts to make the perfect spread for you and your family or for any occasion. This is my go to cookbook for pretty much everything. Whether I am cooking dinner on a weeknight or having some friends over for a party. The pages are bright and colorful, with gorgeous colored pictures to match and the recipes are clean, straight forward and so easy to read. I love how Danielle leaves tidbits and make it ahead notes on so many of the recipes.

Empowering celebratory cookbook

By far the best cookbook with delicious paleo alternatives for holiday dishes. I recently transitioned to an AIP paleo meal plan to help treat a health condition. Was terrified the holidays would be impossible to navigate. This book inspired me and empowered me! Loved the visual glossary in the back of the book and the photos throughout. Highly recommend.

Nice for special occasions

I don't like this book as much as the her other two books, as they are a bit more complicated and also ingredients seem more expensive, but if you are looking to make special fancy treats for occasions, it is very nice. The pecan sticky buns are DELICIOUS!

DANIELLE DOES IT AGAIN!!

Wish I could give this book 6 stars - 5 isn't enough. What a beautiful job taking all the unhealthy things I grew up eating and changing them into more healthy options that I feel good about making for my family. Can't wait to try some of the Christmas and Thanksgiving recipes this year for my family. This book is a must for those of us trying to make a difference for our families. I have post it notes all over the book as recipes to try. The fudge and the pumpkin soup are soooo delicious You NEED this one!! - Sheri

Great resource. Recipes work wonders!

I have a large collection of paleo cookbooks but I keep turning to this one! Fantastic ideas for special occasion meals and the recipes are obviously tested! I loved it so much I bought it as a gift for an employee who said she had trouble with holiday eating. My personal favorite is the carnitas on tostones. I can’t even type those words without wanting to make it!

Good special occasion cookbook

I don't really like cooking much but I bought the kindle version when it was on sale mostly for the desserts. I've made a couple different cake and cinnamon roll recipes. My family loved them! They were so good and not over sweet. This cookbook helps us have special occasion sweets that aren't filled with crap and white sugar. *Some of the ingredients in these recipes can be hard to find and expensive. But anyone on a gluten free, paleo or special diet would be familiar with them. That wasn't an issue for me--they were all ingredients I keep on hand. *I don't usually like kindle cookbooks but have had no problem with the format of this one. There is a recipe index by meals and I really like having it on my phone when I go to the store.

Thank goodness for apple pie!

Beautiful layout. I love seeing the progression of her books with crisper imagery and added tidbits. You can really tell how much effort she puts into her recipes. I wouldn't know where to begin. I've already made the roast, beans with mushroom sauce, spinach dip and apple pie to name a few. We had a competition between Danielle's apple pie and Paula Deans recipe. Everyone preferred Danielle's filling! I even preferred the crust. I tried to make the mayo, but failed miserably twice. I think I need a better machine.

Saved my holiday family meals

I haven’t found a recipe I don’t like yet. Having different needs in the family this Celebration book has saved me so much time and money. I can make holiday meals everyone can eat.

Don't get bored with food on Whole 30

I love Danielle's recipes. I cook from her all of her books, almost exclusively, at home. I am on my last day of a Whole 30 and without Danielle, I don't think I would have been able to successfully complete the program. She keeps food interesting and tasty without using grain/dairy/legumes. I cooked the bulk of our Thanksgiving menu from Celebrations and have tried a few others from the book since I purchased it. As my Whole 30 wraps up, I look forward to enjoying some paleo Christmas goodies and mulled wine from her Christmas menu! Highly recommend this and all of her books.

Great allergy friendly cookbook

I found out I was allergic to gluten and dairy right before thanksgiving, this book helped me make food that I could eat & that tasted good enough to share with my family. I have used this for Thanksgiving and Christmas recipes so far and have loved everything I’ve tried

Love, love, love!!!

Love this book! who would’ve thought I could eat Paleo all the way through the holidays!! In my life I’ve never lost weight during the holidays, but I’m continuing to lose weight during the holidays and I feel healthy and proud of myself for making good food decisions this book makes it easy!

Great ideas for food substitutes and new types of foods

Great ideas for food substitutes and new types of foods. Good pictures and instructions. Also, a great explanation of the food process, why you substitute foods, oils, ingredients, nutritional yeast etc. Highly recommend if you have food allergies.

Cakes & cornbread & kids treats...oh my!

WOW!! This holiday paleo cookbook is fantastic! My favorite recipes are the cake/frosting options, cookies/pies/cobblers, kids treats, & the side dishes. Way to go Danielle--you have hit it out of the park again! I would highly recommend purchasing her e-books "Thankful" & "Joyful" (precursors to this cookbook from a couple of years ago). Some of those recipes have been included in the Celebrations cookbook, but they are so worth buying for all the other recipes included. I am looking forward to Thanksgiving & Christmas thanks to this cookbook ;-) Oh, and...the "cornbread" is DEEE-LISH!

Foods I missed!

I've switched to a strict paleo diet over a year ago under the recommendation of my doctor to treat Lupus among other health issues. There are so many foods I've missed surrounding holidays and the recipes in this book really hit the spot! It's definitely indulgent, celebratory food that I wouldn't eat daily but it's a fantastic addition to a paleo collection, recommended in any paleo home!

Great book.

Love this book. Ive made the apple pie 5 times in 2 months!! I got my sister one for Christmas. We dont eat soy dairy corn ect. Great great book. I got 2 used, they are in 100% perfect condition!

My favorite cookbook

This is my second purchase of this book, the first is on my kitchen, and this one in my iPhone. It is THE BEST cookbook being grain free, gluten-free, dairy free, refined sugar free. There’s not one single recipe in the book that I don’t like, full of taste and happiness. All my celebrations have at least 75% recipes from this book. Recommend it more than anything ever. Thanks Danielle Walker.

I love all of her cookbooks but I love this one ...

I love all of her cookbooks but I love this one is for special occasions. Special occasions is typically where I feel stuck because you don't want to take something so healthy and crazy that no one tries it. Danielle was really able to turn holiday favorites into recipes that taste GOOD and are better for you. We now use this cookbook for dinners during the week not just special occasions because we have so may favorites. I have cooked through almost the entire cookbook and my FAVORITE is the spinach artichoke dip. I have not cooked any of the dessert though. I will have to try those recipes with the holidays coming up.

Danielle Walker's recipes are consistently the best version of any particular dish

The recipes in this cookbook are phenomenal, and she's added a lot of variety to keep you cooking for each special occasion throughout the year! Danielle Walker's recipes are consistently the best version of any particular dish. I also love the hardback version for kitchen use: it sits much better in my cookbook stand than the paperback version does. Highly recommend!

Allergy friendly, paleo, easy to follow

Recipes for the family, but adapted to Paleo / Grain free / dairy free. Allergy friendly recipes, additional substitute options listed in the book as well. Easy to read through, pictures to guide you.

This book is amazing! I loved using it for my first truly grain free thanksgiving and have made several recipes, even for non-celebrations! Celebrating with family who aren't grain free can be difficult but this makes it easy because the recipies are so good everyone loves them! The skillet "corn" bread is addicting!! Easily my fave so far! I love the addition of tips and tricks for substitutions in the book too!

Delicious!

I was so excited for this book release! Everything I have made so far has been wonderful. It's nice to have tried and true "celebratory" foods this time of year. I always feel better when I eat paleo, and this is a great resource! I have had: Pumpkin spice latte, maple Pumpkin pie, roasted garlic cauliflower, blender bread, herb drop biscuits, autumn harvest salad, and Candied sweet potatoes. More to come!

a few good SCD recipes

Having purchased all 3 of her cookbooks...I only found a few recipes for SCD...she is more into paleo recipes.

Must have book for those looking to cook gluten and refined sugar free!

WOW! I have purchase so many books to help me learn to cook good and healthy food gluten and refine sugar free. I have wasted so mush money and had many failed recipes. I am so thankful for this book! Every recipe that I have tried so, far has been a success. The recipes are explained clearly, and not too complex.

Just the right amount of sweetness in the cranberries and pie and incredible flavor in ...

Bought this book for Thanksgiving, as it was my first time hosting, I keep a largely paleo household, and wanted to draw all of the recipes from the same source to simplify things for myself. I used the turkey, cranberry sauce, brussels sprouts, stuffing, gravy and apple pie recipes. Every single one of them was a winner. Just the right amount of sweetness in the cranberries and pie and incredible flavor in everything else. Looking forward to using this book in holidays to come -- a masterpiece, and a staple of any paleo library.

Great dishes for all ages

Grain and gluten free dishes can be difficult to perfect but Danielle has made it easy to follow and complete amazing holiday favorites that delight and surprise people while keeping them healthy and groan free. I’ve enjoyed making may of the treats with my son (5) who is going through a gluten elimination diet.

Another great cookbook by Danielle

I have Danielle's other cookbooks, which I love....and this one doesn't disappoint either. Most of her recipes are extremely tasty, which isn't always easy to do with Paleo-esque restrictions, and she provides a tremendous amount of advise (including ingredient glossary, substitutions, kitchen gear, how to prepare ahead, etc.... Definitely my favorite paleo cookbooks.

... from it so far and each one has been amazing. Not one has disappointed but some of my ...

I have had this book for 3 months and have made over 20 recipes from it so far and each one has been amazing. Not one has disappointed but some of my favorites so far have been the fudge, marshmallows and the "corn" bread. I have all the Christmas cookies made for the upcoming holiday and also look forward to trying the cranberry cake and spinach artichoke dip this week! Go to cookbook!!!

Fantastic

I have had to eliminate dairy and gluten and I was SO tired of the same few recipes I had. Have tried 8 recipes so far and haven't been disappointed at all. I have 2 of her books so far and will be ordering her other 2 very soon. Very easy to follow recipes and tidbits!

I absolutely love this book

I absolutely love this book. I don't have any food allergies or sensitivities (that I've identified), but sometimes I like to clean up my diet where possible. I'll by no means an expert Paleo-cook or consumer, but regardless, I love cooking these recipes! I follow Danielle on Instagram and adore her ... so I originally bought this book out of support more than necessity. But I've made several of the recipes and absolutely love them. Sooooo this review is for the general public that may not be sold on the lifestyle but you too can enjoy this book! Oh and I always have a jar of her ranch dressing in the fridge. My husband might as well drink it. Can't say enough about the wonderful ideas and recipes in this book!

Celebrations

Use this book more on celebration basis. Love the ideas for all the different celebrations. I purchased this cookbook before the holidays and cooked a few holiday meals.

Delicious Recipes!

This book is full of delicious festive recipes that everyone will enjoy. I love using this book when I'm planning any upcoming holiday/event feast. Nice photography. Easy to read. And best of all recipes come out delicious! Would definitely recommend, for any diet.

Love, love

Love, love, love Danielle Walker recipes. This book was my 'go-to' book for t-giving,recent bday, and will look fwd to checking out at Christmas. I finally made a successful gluten-free pie crust! I trust her recipes to taste good and make them frequently-especially the baked goods.

Chocolate Frosting!

Every recipe in here (that I've tried) is super solid. Danielle really tests and refines. Why buy a cookbook when there are so many recipes online? These are the very best and ones you'll use over and over. The chocolate frosting recipe alone is worth the price of admission. It might be the most satisfying thing I've tasted in my grain-free, dairy-free, sugar-free existence!

This cookbook is AWESOME!

I LOVE this book. It was the first paleo cookbook I purchased after being told I could no longer eat grains. This book is wonderful. Recipes are delicious and easy to follow. I use the recipes almost daily. I highly recommend!

Pretty pictures, a bit complicated depending on the recipe

I am inspired by many of Danielle’s recipes, but sometimes here more complicated than they’re worth. The photography is beautiful, and is it a great book for inspiration.

Totally worth purchasing!!!

So thankful that Danielle has put so much hard work into recreating holiday favorites! We use so many of her recipes for holidays and everyday meal and this book has some of our favorite recipes!!! I also live that she has all her tidbits of advice and make ahead tips to help make holiday cooking easier! Definitely worth purchasing!!!

Love all the recipes I have tried so far

I love all Danielle Walkers books. I have all 4 of hers. Can't wait for another one to come out. This one has such great recipes.

Great resource for restricted diets

A great book for traditional holiday recipes that are gluten, dairy, and grain free. The blackened salmon is delicious! A lot of the baked items have arrowroot powder in them which my son is sensitive to at the moment so we have not made any of them yet. Hope to make them one day though because they sound so good!

I love this cookbook!

Wow, what an amazing cookbook! I'm so excited to try some of these recipes! I started eating paleo about a year ago and these recipes are perfect! I've gotten rid of most of cookbooks recently and I love this addition. It's extremely helpful that it is arranged around each holiday although I'm looking forward to trying some of these recipes ahead of the holidays. There are tons of beautiful stories and pictures to help guide you along. I highly recommend this cookbook.

Great book!

Love all her books. Looking forward to trying the wrap recipe! Now the holidays can have food that works for the whole family!

Great recipes for everyone

This is one of my favorite cookbooks. I love all of Danielle Walker’s cookbooks and this does not disappoint. Even friends and family that aren’t gluten free or dairy free love these Paleo recipes.

The first cookbook you will want to put on your table...coffee table. Simply stunning.

Beautiful book. Coffee table quality. Made the Cupid's Arrow Pancakes and the teenagers devoured them. Freeze great too. The mini "corn" dog muffins are so authentic. Great with the homemade ketchup that I make from the meatloaf meatball recipe sauce in the "white shirt" Meals Made Simple (MMS) cookbook. Just like Pokémon! Gotta Catch Em All! Get this cookbook to complete the trifecta or start with Celebrations and build our your library with AAG and MMS!

Fantastic food!

One of my favorite cookbooks! Used it A LOT during these past holidays—from drinks to sides and meals to desserts. Danielle is amazing and deserves every bit of credit for creating these paleo recipes that we can all enjoy.

I have all of Danielle Walker's cookbooks and this one is great! It gives hope of maintaining a grain free diet over the holidays. It is really nice how each holiday meal plan is separated. Its a fun, festive and informative cookbook. And yes as other reviewers have commented, there are a lot of dessert recipes, but isn't that Celebrations are for? :)

A cornucopia of confusion

The index must be a prank!

New fun special recipes that aren't too complex

I love having special recipes to bring to special events. I've tried several recipes and they've all been a hit. I like how they don't require tons of speciality ingredients. And I appreciate the beautiful photos with each recipe.

Highly recommend!!

What a gift!! This is my absolute favorite cookbook! For Thanksgiving this year I made all, yes all, of the Thanksgiving recipes for my family. It was a lot of work but the food was amazing! The garlic mashed cauliflower and the stuffing were my favorite. Because of an autoimmune disease I haven't been able to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal, but thanks to Danielle, I had turkey, green bean casserole, stuffing, and pumpkin pie. Another favorite is the green chile chicken that we make almost weekly. I highly recommend this cookbook!

Yummy and sometimes complicated

Great recipes! The one drawback for me is some are quite complicated with many ingredients. If you are looking to blow people away, this will do, but for simple healthy eating, not so much.

Great book, Great lifestyle!

My wife loves this. We have slowly shifted our eating habits and this book and Danielle's advice have gone a long way. The recipes are fabulous and I love everything my wife has been making from this thing.

Delicious healthy recipes to share

Delicious, Paleo recipes that are not too difficult to make and really are yummy. These are dishes you can bring to parties and share and people who don't normally eat Paleo will enjoy. I bought the kindle version and now I want the actual book to flip through!

Total change of coking

This book was my first exposure to this type of cooking. I prepared the entire Thanksgiving meal by myself mostly. Because of my own health issues and weakness, it was very exhausting. I only had two days to do it, buy all ingredients which I did not have, and then prepare all. I learned a great deal and will do much prep ahead of time of necessity. It was worth it as many family members have grain free needs.

Paleo celebration cookbook rocks. Buy this book!

Wow, this cookbook is amazing! I'm following paleo for autoimmune reasons. These recipes are fabulous! I bought the cookbook specifically for the buffalo cauliflower bite recipe. Wow! Pair that with the paleo ranch dressing and my non-paleo foodie friends were LOVING it. Couldn't believe it was paleo. These recipes are THAT good.

Creative and inventive ideas

This is a great book. Lots of creative and inventive ideas for healthy and tasty ideas for those different diets. Honestly, everything I have tried in this book is incredibly delicious. Most of the ingredients are easy to find at a regular grocery store. Danielle is known for her breads and desserts and the recipes in this book do not disappoint.

Must buy for paleo families!

In love with Danielle's cookbooks! Every recipe I've tried so far has been very tasty! I cannot wait to try more as the holidays through out the year come. Thank you Danielle for making my life so much easier with your books!

Danielle has done it again with an absolutely beautiful cookbook! Her first two books have been mainstays in my kitchen and Celebrations will be no different. This will really help take the work out of menu planning around special events and holidays. There is a great combo of treats and main dishes that I'm excited to cook through for years to come.

Delicious Recipes!

When planning for a social event, it's hard for me to find recipes that are delicious and gluten/dairy-free. This book has recipes that are not only delicious, but suitable for a dinner party. Every recipe we have tried so far has been a winner.

Love It!

Love all of Danielle's work! This one is great for creative alternative holiday recipes!

This cookbook is beautifully styled. I love the way Danielle gave each holiday it's own section and the adaptations of her recipes for holiday favorites are fantastic. She explains ingredients needed and makes the prep seem less daunting. Her family is precious and I will be anxiously awaiting her newest book! She gives hope for those of us who cannot eat like most everyone else and that is huge.

This is a great cookbook! My daughter is on a strict diet for her health, and she often cannot eat the traditional holiday recipes. We ordered this book to help her feel like she could enjoy tasty special recipes on the holidays, too. I love how Danielle offers many tips in the book, and she also has demonstration demos on facebook. I appreciate all her help she offers her customers.

Useful

Very detailed and explains all the different types of ingredients needed. Multiple varieties of meals for all occasions including desserts and drinks.

Excellent five stars all the way !

Great recipes , excellent photography , great taste. From the basics to exquisite this book is a must for any grain free home. She makes traditions possible , and cooking for the holidays and any day a joy with her yummy recipes.

Wonderful

Another great book by Danielle Walker.....wonderful easy recipes💜💜

Love this book

Love this photos and recipes in this books. Definitely helps with holiday or party ideas. Can’t wait for the holidays!

Makes me hungry .

Perfect for special , family times. Everything looks delicious.

Great cookbook!

Love, love, love this cook book! All the recipes I've made so far have been great! The chocolate cake has been a huge hit! Nobody could tell it was grain free. She has a lot of great tips and ways to make ahead to save time. Highly recommended!

Great GF Options!

I love this cookbook! Thank you Danielle for making GF eating bearable, but also exciting! I love that when my kids ask for something, I can turn to your books and find a way to make it for them!!!!

Against All Grains; Celebrating

Another fabulous cookbook! I bought it on Kindle but much easier to read in person. Going to buy the original copy which is easier to find the recipes you are looking for.

I love this cookbook

I love this cookbook! I have used so many recipes for so many different occasions. The recipes I used for Thanksgiving were perfect and made our holidays so very enjoyable! I would recommend this and both of Danielle's other cook books too!

I love her cookbooks

I love her cookbooks. I have two of them. The only thing about these cookbooks that I don't like is the fact that every recipe is from scratch (and i mean SCRATCH) which makes most of the recipes tedious and time-consuming. I just don't have that much time with a baby!

This book is amazing. I wish I had time to make everything ...

This book is amazing. I wish I had time to make everything in it. It is also written in a way that a first time grain free cook can read, follow and understand. It takes years of cooking and baking and testing to make grain free recipes this quality and to learn the ins and outs of living and eating this way, and this author has done all the work for us.

Danielle Walker makes her recipes so easy to follow

I adore this cookbook. Danielle Walker makes her recipes so easy to follow. Having food allergies in the house is never easy, and this cookbook makes every night dinners to big holiday events a breeze. People rarely catch on that they are eating dairy/gluten free foods.

Not What I Was Expecting

I was disappointed that I didn't find any dinner recipes that appealed to me and only found 2 dessert recipes that I might try.

Her recipes are spot on!

Her recipes NEVER disappoint. So much information and delicious recipes jam packed in this book. These recipes never fail and come out just like she describes. Our whole family loves her meals. No crazy, hard to find ingredients make this book a win!

Keeps getting better and better

I have all 3 of Danielle's books and love every one! They have absolutely delicious recipes and beyond gorgeous photos. This particular one is hardback and lays flat when on the counter for easy reading while your hands are full of ingredients. Grain free cooking rocks with her recipes, I promise you won't miss it! Any of her books would make a thoughtful and rewarding gift. I highly recommend!

Absolutely love!!

Absolutely love!!!! We've used recipes exclusively from this book for both Thanksgiving and Christmas and all of them were amazing! I can't decide what my favorite is, they are all that good! Highly recommend for anyone!

Best Paleo book!

I love this book! It has been a lot of fun making the recipes. I enjoy it mostly because I most of these ingredients in my house, so it doesn't require another trip to the store and the recipes aren't super complicated.

Worth buying

Great book for those with grain issues

great paleo recipes

I really do enjoy this cookbook. There's a nice assortment of paleo friendly recipes that will still be crowd pleasers.

Talented woman

Her recipes are easy to follow and make. I love that she answers people in her blog 💕

I've made 2 recipes so far & both were a huge hit with my husband 👍 I highly recommend this book or any of Danielle's other boo

I've been making Danielle's recipes for about a year now and I would say I cook about 70% of my meals from her recipes. So of course I just had to get this book! I actually bought one for my sister for Christmas. I've made 2 recipes so far & both were a huge hit with my husband 👍 I highly recommend this book or any of Danielle's other books. 😄👊❤️

Gluten Free Cookbook

Will use this cookbook for Christmas. My mother is gluten free and runs out of ideas about what to cook she can eat.

The BEST!!

I have tried some of her recipes and as always they came out fantastic. I made the chocolate pecan pie for Thanksgiving and my family raved about it! I so appreciate that i can trust these recipes every time! Thank You!!!

Another masterpiece by Danielle Walker

Danielle invites you in with her warm smile, but it's her kind heart and delicious, trustworthy recipes that keep you coming back. Like I do with any cookbook, I read this cover to cover before making a single dish. Her style is thoughtful, clear, and easy to follow. I'd also like to note that while the stars of the show are her recipes; the beautiful photography doesn't go unnoticed.

Smart buy

Quick delivery savory dishes great recipes

EVERYTHING GREAT

EVERYTHING GREAT, INSTRUCTIONS, RECIPES AND AUTHOR'S DEDICATION TO TEACH HER JOURNEY TO HELP OTHERS.

Beautifully executed and so delicious!

I have all of Danielle’s hard copy books for my kitchen but I love the kindle version of this one for holiday travel!

Great recipes

Love her story of healing

Pumpkin Pie is perfection!

Best pumpkin pie ever!! It is a little more tedious to make since you make everything from the crust to the little cut outs, but so worth it. The cut out cookies recipe is used on a weekly basis for my kiddos. Danielle has done it again with another winner in the grain free cooking section!

Great Value

Very satisfied....A+++

Beautiful!

I made a few recipes from Celebrations for Thanksgiving, and I am impressed! The green bean casserole tastes exactly like the traditional dish with canned cream of mushroom soup (but with fresher chunks of mushroom!). I really appreciated the spices used in the pumpkin pie, especially the cardemom. The crust was a little tough but I overbaked because I don't have the pie beads and got nervous (I didn't want a soggy bottom, as Paul Hollywood would say...can you tell what I was watching in the background?). The cranberry sauce is overall tasty but the orange is a bit overpowering (also perhaps my fault because I really don't like zest no matter how many times I try). But the star of the show was the maple bacon sweet potatoes...wow, is that delicious! Overall, I enjoyed having this book for Thanksgiving and am excited to try more recipes. I don't have any food allergies/intolerances, but I try to eat less processed foods (such as wheat and pre-packed goods). Thank you Danielle!

Great!

Great cookbook!

LOVE this cookbook and Danielle Walker

I love everything about this cookbook. I have several food allergies and Danielle Walker's recipes makes it easier for me to enjoy food again. I have all of her cookbooks and when I make her recipes people always say great things about them. Get ALL of her cookbooks!!

As with all Danielle Walker recipes, Celebrations does not disappoint! The recipes are delicious and enjoyed even by non-paleo eaters, which in my experience, is not always the case with grain-free recipes. A worthwhile purchase.

Just what I needed

Finally! Great recipes, full of flavor + healthy.

Nice book! if you have experience in the kitchen

Great pictures, that whet the appetite. Nice ingredient selection, not very hard to find, the most new for me was coconut sugar, coconut, almornd and macadamia flour... the rest it's pretty ordinary ingredients. I think I'll follow this cookbook this year. Simple recipes if you already have some experience cooking, not detailed step by step recipes, I like it because it is quick read.

Amazing recipes & easy to follow!

Danielle Walker makes all my favorite cook books! I have celiacs disease and she makes recipes that make me feel normal again! I made the pecan pie for thanksgiving and brought it to a party and no one even knew that it was gf/dairy free! Def worth the purchase!

Another great book from Danielle Walker!

All of Danielle's recipes, whether in one of her books or on her blog, are delicious. I bought her "Thankful" e-book of Thanksgiving recipes several years ago and am so excited to have a years worth of holiday recipes. Recipes are simple and straightforward with ingredients that I can get in my local grocery (or easy to get from Amazon).

All recipes are yummy!

I have bought all of her books now! Coming from another person who has many diet restrictions her recipes have all turned-out amazing and my whole family has loved them! Get her books!

It's Beginning to Taste a Lot Like Christmas

Lovely Book with very useful information. Laid out in a concise manner, I can't wait to use this book to make some healthy party fare.

Love it

Thank you Danielle for all your hard work in creating this book. I love this book and how it’s organized into holiday meals.

So yummy!

These recipes are soooo yummy that sometimes I forget that theyre healthy!

Danielle is the best. Photos do not display well on kindle iphone app :(

Okay, i am biased because i just absolutley love Danielle Walker. I was hooked after watching her tutorials for cinnamon rolls amd shortbread cookies on youtube. She has zest for cooking, a comforting personality, and SO much knowlege. I truly dont know HOW she comes up with such innovative recipes! This book has delicious recipies and occassion meal ideas--although i wouldnt recommend a lot of them for beginners. The cinnamon rolls were a hit, but took me 2+ hours to make! These truely are for special occasions. I bought the kindle version and sadly i cannot seem to enlarge or see the photos full screen on my iphone, disappointing! I do like that i can easily search by ingredient or key word though. Thanks danielle! Keep up the great work, helping people stay healthy and not let a grain free life be any less fun!

A paleo food lovers dream

The recipes are easy, use common ingredients, family friendly and almost never disappoint! Love this cookbook and instead to purchase her others!

Delicious

Love her recipes. Amazing!

Awesome!

I love this cookbook for a grain free dairy free and gluten free option for the holidays! It’s been great to experiment and see how it is. Everything has turned out wonderful and I don’t have to worry if I or my friends that have dietary restrictions can eat it or not

This book is a piece of art

This cookbook is lovely. I am looking forward to making many of the recipes. Every time I try Danielle's recipes, I am impressed. It takes a bit of work to find some of the less common ingredients and they are sometimes expensive, but the recipes always turn out wonderfully tasty. I have only had this a few weeks, but already I have had to make three batches of the Christmas Fudge and two loaves of Blender Bread - so good!

Recipes

Disappointed. I was expecting to get nice, unique recipes. Most of the book explains the author personal experiences about gluten.

Great cookbook for anyone that is gluten free and looking to make healthier stuff. My daughter and I both like some of her recipes - esp. the chicken wings in her orignal book!

My Go-to cookbook

Danielle Walker's cookbooks are my go-to books for Paleo recipes for my son with food allergies and she does not disappoint in her latest cookbook Celebrations. I was able to make my son an entire Thanksgiving meal for the first time ever. Her recipes are not too complicated to make and delicious.

Loads so slowly and doesn’t link to chapters

Loads so slowly and doesn’t link to chapters. Not an issue I have with other kindle books. Since this is a cookbook it’s really important to be able to jump around and that’s impossible.

another FAVORITE that will be used weekly in my meal planning AND on special occasions!

I am sharing this review as a fan and follower of Danielle Walker. I have both Against All Grain and Meals Made Simple and have been using them as part of my weekly menu plans for a couple of years now. I attempted gluten free & dairy free recipes prior to her books and was always left discouraged by a kitchen disaster and an out of control grocery budget. She has managed to create simple recipes that are packed full of flavor and healthy ingredients that quickly become our new normal. I had the privilege of previewing this NEW book for the past month and am SO EXCITED to have it in my collection!!! The list is long of why I love it… here it goes: Hard cover, lays flat, pictures on each page, menu style intro of each section, serving size listed on each recipe, make ahead instructions, tid bits, conversion and substitution charts, recipe index, special diets index(egg-free, nut-free, nightshade free, SCD/GAPS) also top ten tips for effortless entertaining, ingredient glossary, and kitchen gear. I love how it starts with New Years Eve and flows through the entire calendar year highlighting holidays and occasions… Celebrations! Though these are ‘special’ meals, they are easily becoming some of my families everyday favorites. I was brave enough to serve some of the dishes to friends that don’t have diet restrictions/food allergies, and to their and my surprise they loved what they tried and it actually created a curiosity that led to them looking further into healthier eating. If you are looking for gluten free/dairy free/paleo recipes that are worth passing down to future generations… THIS IS what you need! [pictured: knife - and - fork pork ribs (pg 124) / christmas fudge (pg 312) / ginger ale (pg181) / roasted autumn harvest salad (pg223) / peach cobbler (pg132) / baked "beans" (pg128) / breakfast sausage casserole (pg)]

LOVE this recipe book!

Awesome photos, easy to read recipes, great tasting. I have many of Danielle Walker's books and love to refer to them for grain free recipes!

Hope you have $$

Eh, great recipes if you want to spend $40 on ingredients to make 1 loaf of bread. I need a more down to earth, I'm not bleeding money kind of book.

An excellent book to have in your collection, you will not be disapointed.

Love the book and the author. Recipes are easy to follow and are delicious. I use her recipes for holidays and some for weekly meals. I have all 3 of her books and follow her blog.

Fabulous recipes Spectacular Presentation

The recipes are delicious and beautiful what more could you want? Don’t hesitate in purchasing this book! You won’t regret it

Yum

Love this book. Especially the Weekley meal plans and shopping lists! My family thanks you for writing it. We are enjoying the meals and each other's company around the wonderful dinners!

The layout and design of the book make it easy to locate recipes specific to holiday celebrations

I purchased this as a gift for daughter and she loves it. The layout and design of the book make it easy to locate recipes specific to holiday celebrations. The recipes include substitutions for allergies which are very helpful in my family. The recipes are delicious and easy to follow. I have made several of the recipes and each came out great.

Absolutely amazing. They tasted like real cake

I made your carrot cake and nut free yellow cake both from celebrations. Also the cream cheese, and bitter cream frosting. OMG!!!! Absolutely amazing. They tasted like real cake!! Not grainy gluten free cakes. My guests didn't even know they were grain free!! Danielle Walker you are amazing!!!!

Yummy!

All the recipes I have tried have turned out well. It's nice to have delicious allergy friendly options for our family.

Good learning source

Heavy in fat from nuts and eggs, but provides some good ideas for high nutrition meals that avoid processed ingredients.

Teslly tasty recipes that everyone can enjoy

Absolutely fabulous. There are so many classic get together meals in here. Easy to follow instructions with helpful tips like it can be made ahead and frozen, etc.

Beautiful job, Danielle!!!!

Danielle has done another amazing job with all these amazing, new recipes. The Sausage Breakfast Casserole was easy to make and so good! My husband and I were able to eat off it for a week and it was delicious every time. I made the Mini "Corn" Dog muffins but used a regular muffin pan instead and they were amazing! It tasted better than regular corn bread, in my opinion! I can't wait to make the spider cookies for Halloween!

Five Stars

Love!!

All of my kids have milk sensitivity to some degree. I have been searching everywhere for dairy free recipes they will eat. I am SO EXCITED to have AG cookbooks! They LOVE the nacho cheese sauce. Thank you!

Great variety

What a comprehensive book. This really gave us some many more options for gluten free meals.

Purchased for my daughter in law for her birthday. She loves this book and is incorporating these healthy recipes into her family meals.

Danielle Walker is amazing!

Danielle Walker is amazing! Her recipes are very specific, but so worth the extra time and worth finding that one ingredient I don't have. Everything I have ever made from her blog or cookbooks has been absolutely delicious!

Love it

Beautiful book with nice recipes

Love all of her books

Love all of her books! I made several dishes for Easter and had some guests over, they all raved over the food, not courtesy compliments, they RAVED over it!

I really liked the idea of eating this way and the food looks beautiful, but when I flip through the recipes the list of ingredients are a bit overwhelming. I have a family of 5 and budget wise this book isn't as practical as I wanted it to be.

Had to completely change my review! :)

I originally wrote a two star review after making a few recipes that I strongly disliked, however, I have enjoyed many recipes since then, so I decided to delete my review and start over :) Although, I still really dislike the blender bread and a few others, almost everything I've made since then, has been delicious. I made nearly the entire Thanksgiving spread from Celebrations since we were hosting this year (a day early). It did not disappoint! The green bean casserole was fantastic. The cream of mushroom soup is so delicious, that it almost didn't make it into the casserole! The smoky candied sweet potatoes were amazing. Everyone raved about them. The cranberry sauce was perfectly tart and with a hint of orange flavor. The "cornbread" stuffing was so good. I really liked that Danielle added options and ways to make the recipes ahead and how to store them. This helped SO much! I was able to make some dishes 1-3 days in advance and it did not affect the taste at all. So very happy with how all of the dishes turned out! I look forward to making the Christmas spread next! So glad I didn't give up on this book after a few initially disappointing recipes. It's really fantastic!!! :)
