Wow... so disappointed
First, the pictures don’t even match the crafts. For example, it might suggest that you personalize socks - but the photo attached just shows a plain pair of generic socks that weren’t personalized. There was also a section about how to make a clutch purse and I’m pretty sure the picture of the purses did not match what was being made. Many projects didn’t have photos at all. It is helpful to me to see a project using the Cricut and inspires me to do more. Sadly, my kindle version did not have pictures and the ones that were present did not seem at all relevant to the project. Further the representation that they were 500 project ideas by Cricut - I feel is misleading at best. That 500 projects is merely a numbered list of ideas - not instructions - not photos... just a list. I purchased this book based on the great reviews - sadly I am surprised that any of these reviews were so positive.

The first time you use desing space, you'll need to select the machine you have. Once you're logged in to your account, you'll see a dropdown box in the upper right hand corner. Click the arrow there and choose your machine. This will adjust the menus available to you , so you only se the options applicable to your machine .
Useless
Useless. I found the lack of directions and black and white photos of no use at all. I will continue my hunt for clear direction.
Disappointing
The 500 ideas is just a list of ideas (and not great ones). There are only 26 projects with actual instructions. And, there are not nearly enough pictures.

The cover looks great but inside are just black and white pages. Had I seen the inside in the listing, I wouldn’t have bought it.
Very informative.
I am a beginner at using a Cricut and this book help me, it explain things to me so that I could understand them. Gave me lots of ideas for projects to do and a lot of different mixed media's to use that i would not of thought of.

This book is absolutely fanominal! I have learned a lot of important information about my maker and let's not forget about all the ideas Joanna gives you. I am so glad I downloaded this book and can't wait to try some of these pointers! Thanks for so much information!
Great book for understanding Design Space!
I really like this book. It tells you how to use the tools on Design Space through step-by-step instructions. There is a section that gives definitions for common words used with the Cricut. In the end, it lays out instructions on how to do many of the projects that you have seen on Pinterest and on other forums. This book has really helped me to understand and get the most out of my Cricut.
A real shame that pictures of the finished projects are not included
This is a great book, especially for beginners like me. It has lots of projects included, which all look as though they'll be great to make. The reason I've taken off a star is that I really would have liked the book to include pictures of the finished items, so you have some idea of how they will turn out, and make you want to make them! I see that this is Volume 1, so I really hope that pictures of the items will be included in Volume 2.
