A decent look at Cricut machines
I feel like the author does a good job comparing all the various Cricut machines; she even looks at several older models. The author spends an entire chapter analyzing how to use your Cricut to make a business. Which II had not seen in any other Cricut guides I have read. I think her project ideas are good but they lack pictures. I find it hard sometimes to visualize what a finished project will look like, so seeing a picture would help.
easy for beginners to follow
This is a great read for beginners who are looking to get started with their cricut maker. I liked that the steps are all lined out in an easy to follow manner, but would have liked more if it included more photo demonstrations so that I could follow along with the steps and see what the author is explaining as I go. Overall though, a good read that gives helpful information that I will use going forward with my own cricut maker.
Helped me get started
I have a Cricut but haven't done much with it yet, because I'm not sure what to do. This book laid out how to get started with a Cricut and some beginner's projects. I can't wait to get started!
Learn as you go
Lots of projects and not just project ideas but ideas on what to do after you finish making them. It’s not just another “make a project here you go” kind of book.

I have heard great things about the Cricut but had no clue where to start. It seemed a bit intimidating. This book will help make it easy for me to learn!
Not a useful book and often grammatically challenged
The book is poorly written and most of the content is irrelevant. It is titled Cricut Maker for Beginners but most of the book is related to machine selection and comparing the various Cricut machines. The book has a few helpful tips but you are better off viewing You Tube videos for help mastering techniques with your Maker.
Not at all what I expected!!!!
This book is awful!!! I am a newbie and ordered this book to help me with the intricacies of the Air 2. If it is a beginners book, how about start with some definitions and lingo?? I was lead to believe this book would help teach on a step by step basis. Will be returning!!!!!

This is the perfect book for those of us who know little to nothing about a Cricut machine.
I have never used a Cricut machine, but I am interested in trying one. I didn’t even know there was a free Design Space available for ideas. I really appreciate the descriptions of different machines and the step-by-step instructions for each to make it easy to comprehend how easy or complicated each machine would be. Descriptions of the supplies are just as important and there are comprehensive description of the supplies and where to find them. Finally it is just as important to know how to care for the machines, and the descriptions of cleaning is detailed.
