Creative Haven Celtic Mandalas Coloring Book (Creative Haven Coloring Books)

I absolutely LOVE Creative Haven! The paper is the perfect weight and the are perforated. I prefer removing the page I am working on to make it easier to color. The mandalas are intricate and enjoyable, I find it is such a wonderful way to relax. No matter the subject you can never go wrong with any of the Creative Haven coloring books.

These celtic inspired mandalas are simply gorgeous! The book is printed single sided on decent quality paper, and it is perforated for easy removal. The designs are fairly complex with some very tiny details. I would only recommend this book for more advanced colorists. I also wish the book was printed in a more square format to avoid so much empty white space at the top and bottom of each page.

Adult coloring books are currently a passion of mine, especially since I have been housebound this past year. I have purchased many mandala coloring books and this is one of my favorites so far. The designs are of a Celtic nature and very intricate and interesting. The pictures I have attached were all done with Gel Pens even though I usually use colored pencils and sometimes markers. I prefer to purchase Creative Haven books because of the perforated pages. This mandala book has at least 30 designs to color, each one different. Enjoy!

I've purchased many (50-75) coloring books in the past five years, and this one is excellent!!... the paper is the smoothest I've ever colored on!!!... the lines are crisp and clear... the color is exactly what color is supposed to be (no splotchiness, no dark spots)... I'm in love with this book and I'm so excited I bought two of them... I will color the second one completely different than the first one!!!... seriously, but this one... you will not regret it!!!... and Creative Haven are my all time favorite coloring books... I have all of them, but this one, the quality is exceptional... it's like they are getting better and better, instead of passing off cheap junk because they kniw we'll buy it... thank you, Creative Haven, for this one... I love it!!!

To the artist Cari Buziak, I absolutely love this book. Most of the time I feel ripped off with most books that I order. They are very cheap looking and terrible. Most of the time I just throw them in the trash. I loved your book so much that I have bought three of them at Walmart and I have ordered an additional six books from Amazon. Thanks for putting in the effort to make your work fun to color.

If you enjoy intricate patterns this book is for you! This book is filled with beautiful celtic patterns done one per page on perferated paper. I love the intricate patterns..challenging but not overwhelming. I say perfect!

While this coloring book is quite nice, I am still searching for one that has more moderate size coloring spaces overall - a balance between dense black outlines and too simple.

My fiancé and myself are absolutely In LOVE with this particular book- out of all of the nearly 20 books we've bought that are from the Creative Haven collection, this one is By Far* better than most! Ultimately, we end up fighting (so to speak), over who gets what pages as SOON as we get it... This is our 2nd copy of this Celtic Volume.. not to mention how my father had his own copy as well! We would give 5.5 ⭐ if given the chance!!!!!

Really good book. Pages are perforated and thick so pens don’t bleed through. Designs are intricate and interesting. Less pages then other books but excited about the quality. Also for $5.00 great buy.

The designs are great but the paper is thin. I have tried different markers and gel pens and they bleed through easily and the paper deforms when you color.

I like the designs and have enjoyed coloring using gel pens. The designs are wide and easy to complete with a medium 0.7mm point pen. The paper is nice and the book was easy to open and press flat for a level drawing surface.

Not much to say about this one, as I bought it for a friend, but he does seem to be enjoying it, or at least I haven't heard any complaints.

Perforated for easy removal, to work on one-at-a-time, I used colored pens and used up lots of hours coloring great patterns. wish more were like this book. Get it if you like ink coloring!

I am currently coloring my first selection. The mandalas are stunning! I love the designs. I am using shading of hues and it looks beautiful. I do have to keep sharp points on my pencils because a lot of the areas are narrow.

I never like all of the pages of a coloring book. But I like a lot of these. I'd buy it again.

Nice thick pages great paper printed well. The one thing I didn’t like is some of the lines are rather skinny making them a bit difficult to fill in and stay in the lines with some coloured pencils and things.

I'm really enjoying these mandalas, especially during the pandemic. They help keep me calm.

29 great patterns. Some with small detail, some with medium detail. Book easily opens nice and flat. Four examples of how you might color the mandalas. Would give 5 stars if paper were thicker as felt pens bleed through (just one piece of paper behind catches all the ink though).

Love these patterns. Some are a bit tight for coloring, but beautiful and crisp lines on thick paper.

Nice Mandalas. Relaxing to color. I use gel pens and they do not bleed through.

Returning the book. The designs are much to finely drawn, (small,) for my eyes. You should know that only a very fine tip pen will work for a lot of these.

Creative Haven is hands down the highest quality adult coloring book maker. The paper is perforated, crisp white, single design per page, and thick weighted compared to others.

Love to color

Very sophisticated and my favorite book. I've actually been able to frame and hang them on my walls they come out really nice. I like them with cool earth tones and their beauty really stands out.

I really like this Celtic coloring book. I am Scotch/Irish and liked the idea of coloring them. They are very detailed and I have to warn you that some of the areas are very small but I use fine line sharpies to color with so they were great for me. I would definitely recommend this product.

Will be added to my top list of producers. The xtra $ was well worth it. Loved the precolored examples to spark ideas

I love all my creative haven coloring books. They are nicely made,thick paper,tears out easily.

Entirely too busy. Would not purchase again.

Absolutely recommended. Not for the timid. There's a lot of junk floating around this "colored world." Thick lines, dumb patterns, odd page formats, lousy paper, insulting trivialities. Plus, so many of the draftsmen refuse to provide any sample pages so the buyer hasn't a clue what's on offer. Will never buy what I cannot preview. Buziak's work is remarkably well done, shows not only excellent draftsmanship, but also an understanding of Celtic tradition and design. The paper is decent quality, the pages are perforated, and it's in a standard 8.5x11 format. Why these so called artists insist on screwy sized paper is a mystery to me. The difference in paper price between 9x9 and 8.5x11 is trivial. Actually, I suspect the standard size is cheaper. If for some reason a person wants to frame a standard sized coloring, they just go down to Michael's and get a $6 frame. The other junk? Good luck. If you want real challenge and the joy of seeing your early color choices flow out to a finish, this is a good one. My only complaint is that I have very few left. I'll go back and do some that didn't work well, but I sincerely hope the author puts out another book.

These designs are well done and fun to color. I really like Creative Haven coloring books in general because the pages are perforated and only one side of the page has a picture on it, so I can use markers and they won't mess up another picture.

I like intricate designs and found this book lovely to color in. There were no thick lines which I have found in other books. Paper quality is great as I use gel pens and they do not go through.

This book is full of brilliant patterns, some easy to do and others intricate and detailed, A really good adult colouring book to soothe the frantic mind and de-stress you.

The designs I admit are very nice, but the problem is unless you have perfect eyesight forget it. Some of the features in the pattern are near enough impossible to make out as they are so minute. One would need the special spectacles that you see surgeons wearing whilst operating. As with all Creative Haven books the pages are serr ated and the paper is good quality.

Lovely patterns. Some are very intricate so SHARP pencils required. I find the mandala shapes very relaxing to colour in. Colouring is a great way to be mindful and to lower stress. The tear-out pages are good if you want to frame your finished masterpieces!

bought for a friend who's shielding and need some art therapy to get her through. She loves the designs and found them absorbing and relaxing to colour. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely book except for one thing..... the paper has a very rough surface which will wear down a fine line pen like sandpaper, very quickly. If you're using coloured pencils it will be perfect though.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my 83 yr old mother. It helped her pass time during the Covid 19 lockdown.

Amazing adult colouring book. I would buy it again

Smooth white paper, one-sided illustrations, perforated pages I don't like the combination of celtic and mandalas so much. There are many details and the illustrations look busy, some illustrations more so than others. It's necessary to have sharp eye focus and make small hand movements and I don't think it will be that much fun to color. It's a matter of taste, of course.

The quality is superb. I find the patterns quite inspirational and the intricate detail forces me to slow down and enjoy the coloring even more. It takes much longer for me to finish one of these designs than other books, thereby increasing the value of the book.

J'aime beaucoup les livres de coloriage Creative Haven : la gamme est étendue, variée, il y en a pour tous les goûts. Les livres sont très peu chers, ce qui explique que le papier soit d'une qualité médiocre : je n'ai eu aucun souci avec des feutres à base d'eau ou des stylos gel, mais j'ai quand même mis une feuille sous le coloriage au cas où l'encre traverserait le papier. (Pas de souci pour l'instant.) Impossible d'envisager de l'aquarelle. En revanche, les mandalas ne sont imprimés que d'un côté et sont détachables, donc on peut limiter les dégâts. Ce livre-ci propose des mandalas relativement complexes autour d'un thème celtique : les motifs sont très beaux, bien imprimés et très agréables à colorier.

Me encantaron estos mandalas! Muy diferentes a los acostumbrados de flores o animales. Tiene un grado de dificultad que lo hace muy interesante y quedan preciosos ya iluminados. Lo recomiendo mucho!
