Excellent book with great advice for dating men and women

Excellent book with great advice for dating men and women, or those who are hoping to be dating soon. If you are a Catholic wanting dating advice that is consistent with Catholic teachings, this is a great place to start. My two daughters and a niece have read this book and all 3 found it very helpful and had great advice. I do not agree 100% with every suggestion, for instance the author suggests never getting married until you've been dating for at least 2 years. I can see that that is overall decent advice, but not necessary in all relationships. The book is enjoyable, interesting, and easy to read. Fr Morrow has a good sense of humor and lots of experience with young people (and his own dating experience before he was in seminary) and what information people need to make good choices in choosing a spouse, when to walk away from a relationship, and lots of solid relationship advice.

Protestant approved

Like when I read G. K. Chesterton, there's so much to appreciate and agree with, even though as a nondenominational Protestant I certainly have some significant differences with Father Morrow. The book is well-written, direct, honest to the point of blunt, and refreshingly practical. I started dating my first boyfriend three months ago, (I'm in my mid-twenties, and never so much as held hands), so this was a subject where I needed a lot of sound, logical on-the-ground advice. Not all of this book applies to me, as it is what I might call blatantly Catholic, but it is always good to see things from another perspective, and I found the interpersonal relationship advice poignant and true to life. Definitely worth a read.

Our sons liked it!

Bought this for our teenage boys who are 4.0 in their classes and are very Catholic young men and defend the faith. The content is very good. However, it was a bit dry and repetitive. It didn’t really approach the deadly effect of texting and social media on young minds finding their way in the dating world. However, our 15 year old has read 6 chapters and he has a young lady friend who is also Catholic. He liked it, she found it more difficult to relate to.

Really great!

I liked this book so much that I have shared it with all my Catholic single friends. I highly recommend it! After coming back to the Church after a very secular few years, I was looking for a guide to help me date as a faithful Catholic. Eye-opening at times, and with many little anecdotes and real life stories, I found just what i needed here.
