We all love this book

We stumbled upon this book because we like to listen to kids music on YouTube and fell in love with the song. We were so excited when we saw the book on amazon. Our 2 year old is crazy about this book and sings it 24/7. I even made a little coconut tree for him to play with while he read/sings the story. We love this book so much

Probably possibly my daughters favorite book.

Let's be clear- I personally do not love this book. I personally am so and totally beyond over this book. I personally don't understand why anyone's writing about the alphabet in a coconut tree. I personally am a bit concerned that all of these little ones are running free up a coconut tree with no supervision. I personally think "a" has a bit of an attitude. But my 2.5 year old LOVES it. Beyond loves it; we have TWO copies of this book. I have one in my room on her shelf and she has one she's loved to destruction in her bedroom. She can kinda "read" it- she can tell you the entire story even if it's not in front of her. And she loves that all of the letters are in the back. I'm fairly sure I can thank this book for the fact that she knows her upper case and lower case letters. Every bedtime ends with this story ( I don't even read it anymore- I have it memorized.) There are no fights when the lights go off because the sun goes down on the coconut tree.

Granddaughter loves it!

This was my 6th copy! All 5 of my kids had their own copy. While FaceTime reading with my granddaughter who lives in Tennessee while I live in Colorado she was complaining that her little sister wrote in her favorite book and she opened it to the front to show me. I burst out laughing because it was actually my youngest son’s (now 17!) book from when he was a kid. He had scrawled Joseph on the front inside cover (nearly illegible as he was 4! and only a mom would recognize it!) and Sophia was irritated thinking her little sister was disrespecting her books. Turns out my daughter had raised my storage container looking for her Nancy Drew books, but came across Joseph’s box! I immediately bought Sophia her own!

This is the most boring, non-creative, ridiculous book available

I have bought this book only because it was highly rated and we had it since my kid was 6 months old. Now she is about 2. I have tried reading this to her a few times, but not only I felt stupid reading this nonsense, non-existent words, and abstract graphics, but my kid never paid any attention to it. I cannot say who this book should be perfect for, but definitely not for most kids and adults. :) The graphics are ugly, there is only 1 tree and letters. Nothing else!!! Nothing that will keep the attention of your kid. The story or songs - not sure what this is, is ridiculous. "A told B and B told C I'll meet you at he top of the coconut tree." How to explain my 2 year old what is going on here? :) My kid is only 2 and even though she knows every single letter, and numbers up to 10, she is not interested at all in this book. I wish I returned it when I could.

My 3 month old loves it!

My 3 month old is captivated! I'm not sure if she's making the connection to the letters, words, or the fact that I'm reading it, but she scans every page! The board book is sturdy and easy to handle, so I let my girl hold it and play with the pages as well.

Fun to read! Very rhythmic.

My 1 year old daughter enjoys this book a lot! It is super fun to read to her and the pictures are big and bright.

All Children will love this book and so will any adult who still has that little child still inside.

If you have never read this book to a child, I would HIGHLY recommend it! It is an ABC book, but it is written so it rhymes from start to finish. The cadence you can easily achieve is fantastic! It's so much fun to read, and for ANYONE to enjoy. We bought this book for our grand children and these are for our great-grandchildren. The fun in these pages never diminishes. It is a classic!

This board book isn't a heavily stripped down version of the original - packs a lot of fun, alphabet "bang for the buck"!

Aren't youngsters learning to read today SO much younger than most people of my generation ever did? Still amazes me that our grandsons learned their letters with such lightning-fast speed (then again, so many of today's children's shows are educational, as opposed to the simply amusing cartoons we had.) Our 3 year old had already been quite proficient with his ABC's when we gave him this book on his birthday, but we'll get a "2-fer" out of it - a fun reinforcement for him that he'll begin to actually read with, and it'll be waiting in the wings for his 1 year old baby sister (not to mention the newest family addition we recently found out about, due to arrive next May!) Very simple story in that all of the (lower case) letters are racing to the top of a coconut tree, once they're all up there the tree becomes top-heavy and - "Chicka chicka... BOOM! BOOM!" - bends from the load, they all come tumbling out, incurring normal childhood-type ailments (skinned-knee, stubbed-toe, loose tooth, out of breath, tangled and knotted up, looped, stooped and "twisted alley-oop", etc.) The parents, aunts and uncles (capital letters) come to their aid as the tree trunk straightens back up. BUT... when the full moon comes out that night, "A" sneaks out of bed and - as children will do - double dares them all back up to the top of the tree! The book ends with a 2-page spread of all of the letters, upper and lower case next to each other - a terrific tool to help youngsters recognize both forms, and part of the fun are the rhymes and fun tongue-twister expressions interspersed throughout (i.e. Skit skat skoodle doot/Flip flop flee.) Super cute little book! You can probably imagine that - having babysat for three of my four grandchildren for 7 years prior to my daughter-in-law becoming a stay-at-home-mom - we have MANY board books included in the large children's library we've built for them over those years - typically, if they're board book versions of a previously released book, they're greatly ABRIDGED versions. I have to say that not only is this one of the highest quality-constructed board books we've purchased, but at 36 pages long (as compared to the hardcover's 40 pages), I think we've actually got most of the entire original book! (Obvious difference would be its size - this is @ 5-1/2" x 7" and a full 3/4" thick, while the hardcover's description lists it as 8.2 x .4 x 10.9.) And what a deal! We purchased this on Amazon for below its imprinted $7.99 US price, and are so pleased with what we received for our dollars - nice, thick pages, bright and eye-catching colors - even our 5-1/2 and 9-1/2 year old grandsons have gotten a kick out of reading this to the little ones!

A very wonderful addition to our homeschool classroom!

A classic from my childhood, my kids absolutely love this book! They quickly got the hang of the rhythm and they love joining in with all the "Chicka chicka BOOM BOOMs!" My 2 year old loves to sing the ABCs when we get to the back of the book, where it is so nicely printed. We are in middle of creating our own chick chicka boom boom tree out of coffee cans and ABC magnets, as I saw on a preschool blog. A very wonderful addition to our homeschool classroom!

A great book 30yrs ago, great book now.

I remembered enjoying this story when I was little, but couldn't remember it well enough to know if my children would enjoy it (ages 4 & 1.5). But, being that it was part of a deal and came in a board book option, I decided to add it to our bookshelf. At first, some of our other more illabritaly illustrated books we recieved at the same time took first priority with my 4 year olds. However, after hearing this book read to the little ones a few times, my older kids have since taken to loving this book. They now request this book often, and also enjoy "reading" it to one another. In addition to my older kid's enjoyment, my 18m olds have also started repeating many of the words from this book, and I think it won't be long before they are reciting it back to me, just like their big sisters. I would definitely recommend this book to someone looking for a simple rhyming, quick read, that helps familiarize little ones with the alphabet. The pictures are simple but effective and the story itself is one you won't mind reading again and again.

Simple graphics, cute story. Makes the alphabet exciting for my 2 year old!

We absolutely LOVE this book! My daughter will be 3 in two months and she thinks it's hilarious. Everytime it says "Chicka chicka boom boom," she happily yells, "Boom boom!" afterwards, and insists that I read it several times in a row. The simple graphics allow her to focus on the letters, and we we point them out as I read, but they aren't so busy that it distracts her from the cute story. The wording has an almost Dr. Suess type feel, which makes it entertaining to read as well! We've had it for just about two weeks and her ABC's have improved dramatically. Out of nowhere today she recited them all the way up to I! I highly recommend this book for toddlers. It captures my little ones attention and has made the alphabet exciting. It's made our nightly reading ritual fun for us both. Everyone has their opinions, but the negative reviews are an eye roll. If your 2 or 3 year old enjoys it, don't worry about "explaining" it. If he or she doesn't, that's fine too, move along to another book. But for God's sake, please stop overthinking it. These are probably the same people that want to pull Looney Tunes off the air. EDIT: And yes, the alphabet IS in order. I'm not sure which alphabet the reviewer below me is reading lol. That's actually a fact.

Baby shower gift

Adorable classic. It’s thick, sturdy, and the perfect size.

This is the best and funniest children's book I have ever read!

This book was recommended to me when I was doing my clinicals as a Speech Therapist in Public Schools. I later read it to my kids and someday hope to read it to my grandchildren. The fun rhythm of the wording and the way they combine that with learning the alphabet is ingenious! Every time after reading it I spend the whole day saying the "Chicka-Chicka-Boom-Boom" litany! It's addictive! Trust me, this is classic or your children's library.

Love This Book!!

I love this book, probably more than my baby does... Then again, she's only 3 months old and doesn't care about books yet. But I'm sure she'll love it when she's older. I end up reading this book like it's a rap. It's a lot of fun. I was able to pick up the other Chicka Chicka Boom Boom books, can't wait to read them too! Edit: do not buy the kindle edition, it ends half way thru.

Must have book

Love this book. I was a kindergarten teacher and never saw it and wish I had. My 2 1/2 year old grandson loves it and so do I. He now knows his letter names upper and lower case which amazes me. We got it from the library and I had to buy our own copy. This will be bought for all the children in my life.

Engaging pictures and story make this a masterpiece

The board book quality itself is pretty standard, nothing amazing. The images are ok - but the creative way they are done is really neat, and then you read the story, and that is where this shines. The story is a long standing masterpiece of goodness, along with some letters practice. This book is great for pre-k children to recognize letters, and it draws them in. The letters are prominent in the pictures, and as you read, they will not only like the story, but yell out the letters they see as they come up and then think it is funny as it is being read. An overall really engaging book.

Highly Highly reccomended!

This little board book is a great way to introduce reading to a young reader. As a daycare worker in the 3 and 4 yr old rooms this book has taught many of my students their alphabet. This book is perfect for little hands and one on one reading. You can find it in paperback in larger size for teaching use, but if it is going to receive daily or multi use daily in a classroom I reccomend getting the large board book. Either way this is a great book for teaching your child or class. And there are tons of songs you can find to go with the book.

Kids love this book!

My 5 year old niece loved this book. You can't help but read it in a fun way! Great for 2-7 year olds (my neice says.) Perfect for pre-k and kinder kids. Definitely a must have.

A Classic! Every toddler/ kiddo needs a copy

This book is such a delight! My 3.5 year old is obsessed with it at bed time. He loves when the parents come running to help the little letters in the story.

Interesting !!

My 2 year old loves this book..she finds the word " chiika chika boom boom" very catchy :). I bought the chicka ABC separately but there is no need to do that because this one has the ABC and further more pages to the story. Also got the 1,2,3 book which is good too.

Great book!

This is such a great book, and I am glad to now have it as a board book! We have read this multiple times from an old paperback copy that I had as a kid, but having a board book is super nice. The story is simple, but helping my daughter to learn her letters in an entertaining way.

Fun read-aloud

Loved this book with my kids many years ago, and just bought this copy for grandbaby #1. The board book is half the story of the regular book, which works well for shorter attention spans. The colors and graphics are awesome and the rhythmic and repetitive words are so fun to read and to hear. A classic!

Don’t listen to bad reviews

I was born when this book was published and grew up reading it. When I think of learning the alphabet as a child I can hear this book, A told B and B told C .... etc. I know read it to my son. It’s a silly book but, has a good rhyme to it and has a page at the end with every letter of the alphabet.

New school classic

Great for learning the Alphabet! And my kid cracks up when I say “skit skat skoodle foot flip flop flee!” He repeats it too and sound crazy to people that aren’t familiar with the book! The entire alphabet (in upper and lower case) is shown in the back of the book. My son likes to sing the ABCs when we get to that page.

It is great fun. You can play with it.

Really fun ABC book. Has a great beat. Great color and pictures. The rhyming is outstanding. I have loved this book since it first came out. It is fun to clap to it, sing it, chant it, or just read. Good for two on up to adult. But you have to read it out loud.

Two year old is obsessed

I have seen this recommended on a few lists to help with language development (because of the repeating line) but didn’t realize it’s an ABC book as well. My daughter got it for Christmas and we’ve read it 3-4 times a day since. It’s a fun way to talk about the alphabet, love that the back is the whole alphabet so you can go over them or sing the song after reading the book. The artwork is simple but cute.

Such a Cute Book

My 2 year old absolute loves this book. She’s been asking to read it pretty much every night since we have bought it. She keeps saying “oh no, ABC fall down.” This is such a cute book to teach toddler their ABC’s and the rhythm is so catchy! Definitely a must have for your shelf if you have a home library for your kids.

Great book at amazing price

I love this! My 3 and 5 year olds are a little rough with paperback books.. but I had to get this one once I seen it was a board book. Not only is it more durable than paperback it is actually pretty big. My kids love this story, they ask for it almost every night. This book is a steal for this price! Must get for your littles.

An ageless winner!

This simple board book has it all: rhythm, colors, simple alphabet characters, humor, and culture with a little bit of cheekiness at the end of the book that I want my youngster to have. i got it for him when he was less than a year old, but have read it with élan at least once a week since then. He's 4 now, but i really read and danced to it daily when he was 2 til he was 4, my reason for indicating his age. It's an ageless winner!

Book looked dumb to me.. but it helped a lot

I was quick to judge this book but once i started reading it a few times to the kids they were pretty into it... they would always wait for the "OH NO!" so they can all yell together. It also rhymed pretty well too. So it was a great book to teach the alphabets and the kids liked it.

My kids favorite

My 2 and 4 year old are obsessed with this book. We purchased the board book version. It is good quality and will hopefully Last many years to come. The story is very cute. My kids pretty much memorized it and ready along with me. I highly recommend it for any toddler, preschooler or kindergartner. If you don’t have this in your home library, your definitely missing out.

Creative and Classic Alphabet Book

I grew up with this book as a child and was glad to be able to get a board book version of it for my little one. Even better, the board book is the exact same as the regular book (words, pictures, etc.), whereas many board books omit parts of the story to save space. The story itself is fun and the illustrations are bright and eye catching. I also like that the alphabet is printed on the back cover; we sing it after we finish reading.

Fun, Colorful, and Educational

There’s a reason why this book is a classic; it has a fun rhythm to read out loud, the colors are beautiful and bright, and parents love it because it’s an easy way to teach the alphabet. My little girl loves this book and pulls it off the shelf all the time. She loves when we say “Chicka chicka BOOM BOOM.” This book is also wonderfully sturdy and has great pages for little hands to turn.

A MUST for every child’s library!

This book is great! I love this smaller size, but it does come in a bigger board book size as well. Fun way to see/learn/say the alphabet. YouTube has loads of videos of people putting the words to various beats, follow along or create your own!!!

We love Chicka Chicka

We received the larger version of this book 4 years ago as a baby shower gift. And we love it so much we decided to gift this one to our friends’ new baby. It’s such a cute and fun book. It helped our 4 year old learn to read at just 2 years old. It’s a true board book. Very durable “pages”. We recommend this book to anyone with young kids or anyone who works with young children. Great investment.

Holds the childs interest

The story with the alphabet holds the students interest while they are learning letter recognition, upper and lower case. The rhythmic cadence of the book is a little different alphabet song and they stay engaged.

Cute attention keeper!

Very cute! The words and rhythms will attract our 2 year old great-great niece’s attention and teach her quickly to know her letters. For Christmas, I’m pairing the book with wood blocks with letters.

Easy to follow funny story for kids

What's not to like about a funny alphabet book? My son loves "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" and he can easily recognize letters even at an early age. The story reads like a song so it's taught him a little rhythm and rhyming too. Plus story time because a dance dance session to expend all that energy.

Fantastic alphabet board book for young minds!

I have given this book to so many of my childcare children as well as family members - the rhythms and rhymes are unbeatable as well as the introduction of Capital vs. Lower Case Letters. I’m keenly aware of the need to introduce both (early on) and this jewel does it unconsciously! Definitely one of my personal favorites, I highly recommend this book (both as a board book and as a hardcover or paperback).

Family favorite

I bought this for a fundraiser. My daughter has loved our copy for years, and even though she's completely outgrown it, she still loves reading it. The premise is clever and the text just trips off your tongue. This is one of the best ABC books available.

Parents and kids will love this fun book!

I enjoyed this book so much, I am purchasing the board book version of it. It is one of the few books I have read to my daughter and day care children that totally drew them in from the second line. Chicka Chicka Boom Boom is a daring yet impish race of the small alphabet letters up to the top of a coconut tree with vivid artwork on every page. When the tree is weighed down with all the letters, it bends and the child-like letters fall down to be picked up by the large letters described as the mamas and the papas and the uncles and the aunts. Theya re all gathered up and put to bed when all the sudden out comes little a again..and the fun starts again. It is so fun to read for the adults too. What a great way to show the relationship betwen large and small alphabet letters! We even started a game with me saying, "Chicka chicka?" and them cheering back, "BOOM BOOM!" The author captures the tone of children at play, keeps a rhythm that is easy to follow, and provides a warm sunny way for children to remember the alphabet. It is well worth the money and I will look for more offerings from the author in the future. I also used it as a tool for homeschooling my daughter who has just turned 4. After the purchase and use of this book, she can easily recognize all letters large and small which makes it so much easier when you work on phonics and early reading. The book made it FUN and that is what I liked the most. Get this book!!! It's educational, affordable, and fun!

Great rhyming baby book. Great shower gift.

Full page bright colorful high contrast pictures get baby’s attention from the beginning. Wonderful rhyming text that can be read with lots of expression. Our grandchildren had two copies so they could read home and away. Get board book so baby can turn the pages themselves as they grow older.

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom (Board Book)

I had this book for my kids when they were little and they loved it. I kind of "sing" it to them when I read it. Now I bought it for my granddaughter. I think she will like it when she starts learning her ABC's. I highly recommend this fun and colorful book.

Love this story

I've loved this book since I was a kid! It's got a really fun cadence to it and is a lot of fun to read. Cute story about the alphabet climbing up a coconut tree.

Entertaining and educational

Came in perfect condition, my daughter (15 months) LOVES this book. She brings it to me several times a day to read it to get and she points and tries to say the letters. She even says "oh no!" When that party of the book comes up. Truly a wonderful and everything board book.

Fun rhymes and easy to read

This was my 23 year old daughters favorite book when she was little so I purchased the hard page book for my first grand daughter. I can’t get her to sit still long enough to hear the whole story but I still love reading it. The fun rhymes and the journey the letters take up the tree only to be saved by family. It never gets old.

So fun to read to little ones

It has a cadence when reading and bright colors that keep the attention. It also teaches the ABC's. I recently bought it for my newest grandson who is 20 months. Just his size to hold and he loves it.

All Children will love this book

If you have never read this book to a child, I would HIGHLY recommend it! It is an ABC book, but it is written so it rhymes from start to finish. The cadence you can easily achieve is fantastic! It's so much fun to read, and for ANYONE to enjoy. We bought this book for our grand children and these are for our great-grandchildren. The fun in these pages never diminishes. It is a classic!

Same story with no more torn pages.

One of the kids favorite books! I searched for and bought the board book version so little fingers don’t tear the pages trying to turn them and it is read multiple times per day so we needed sturdy! It’s holding up

Learn the alphabet

I remember fighting over who got to check this book out more than 30 years ago in the school library. Now it’s my 2 year old daughter’s current favorite book. She’s even learning some letters just from reading it and can read it herself.

Great classic AND STILL A KINDERGARTEN MUST HAVE!

Brought back memories ☺️ .. But this was Gift for my sister who just became a teacher👏👏👏 A classic for us 90’s kids and STILL a must have in every kindergarten!!

Teaches LOWERCASE LETTERS!

When I first read this book I didn't get it. I thought it was super weird. But I realized that was the point when seeing how much my 18-month-old son LOVED it! Once I figured out the rhythm it grew on me. He's 2 now and still loves it. Also, it's great for helping them learn their LOWERCASE LETTERS! (which most children's toys seem to neglect)

Great Rhythmic Book Kids Love!

Chica Chica Boom Boom is a wonderfully rhythmic book. Read like it's a rap song and the kids will love it!!! My grandchildren always asked me to read this book first! It's a great way to teach children how to read with feeling and rhythm.

Cute Alphabet Book

My autistic grandson is obsessed with the alphabet and this book had instant appeal. It contains colorful illustrations, catchy rhyme and a cute tale of the mischievous letters' adventure.

Second time around....

This was one of my daughter's favorites as a child. Now, I have gifted her with a copy for her newborn daughter. We sat down together immediately and read it and shared so many happy memories. Sometimes it's the little things that bring the greatest joy. 💖

THIS SHOULD BE REGARDED AS A CLASSIC!!!

My 18 month old son loves this book so much that he has me read it to me 3-4 times in a row everytime we pick it up. I myself have a lesson to learn from this book. The lesson provided is to keep getting back up even though you've fallen and that everyone falls sometimes. My son literally cries when the letters come falling down because he can relate. He sniffles at the next page when the mamas and papas come and hug and dust off their babies, and by the time we make it to, "M is looped, N is stooped, O is twisted alley-oop, skit skat skoodle doot, flip flop flee", he is laughing and giggling. And he smiles in the end when the letter 'A' triumphs in a final and sucessful climb in the moon light. The ryhyming and word play are fun and charming. Nowhere have a found anything that takes a child through the emotional trama of failing and then helps them up and out of it, giving them courage to try again (and they learn the alphabet at the same time!). This book belongs on everyone's shelf. I don't care how old you are. It's a life lesson we all need to learn.

🥥🌴memories came flooding in the second i started to read to her... 🌴🥥

so this just came in the mail today.. my baby girl will be 10 months on the 18th and, (I'm headed towards 31) no sooner did i open that book & began reading it to her like i had the damn thing memorized! (i probably haven't even thought of that book in well over 20 years... and i was instantly taken back to my old elementary school open house. my kindergarten! so it was a sentimental moment 🖤 i very distinctly recall loving this book when i was little and i think my little beautiful boo boo is gunna find it just as pleasing 🙃

Great

My two year old loves this book. We read this multiple times a day. Very good quality board book. This will last. I love that the book helps kids learn alphabet recognition and it has a cute story

A favorite book for all time!

The sing-song tempo of this book is so much fun. The illustrations are bright and engaging. My kids had this book in the boardbook format as well as paperback. I will be handing these down to grandchildren. Every new person needs this book. Wouldn't this make a great theme for a toddler's room?

Great book!

My kids read/sang this when they where little so obviously my grandbabies needed their own! This one specifically still has the vibrant colors the kids loved and brings back so many great memories.

Durable and a great value

I bought this book along with a few others for our newest edition to the family. When my niece and her now hubby were getting ready for the big day they asked for no wedding gifts but if you insisted on bringing them one to please bring your favorite book so they could put it in their library..what a fantastic idea!! So when she phoned me from Australia to say they were expecting I immediately thought it was time to start my great nieces library!!

My toddler loves it!

This is definitely toddler approved. My 2 year old ripped up his sister’s paper back version by reading it too much ( he likes to go through the pages pointing the letters and pretending to read ). This cardboard version has held up much better plus the price is amazing so I bought a backup.

Great Book!

Love this book. I purchase this book to start an infant's library. Awesome children's book for teaching alphabets and reading. Great for ages infant through age 7.

Great book for babies

I bought this board book for my 10 month old niece. She was really interested in the bright colors and laughed every time I said "Chika Chika Boom Boom". Reading the book to her was fun and the song-like text is catchy. I found myself saying it a few times the next day... and I wasn't reading the book! Lol.

My favorite toddler book. Definitely recommend!

I absolutely love this book! My mom bought it for my younger siblings when they were little, and now that I have two kids of my own I had to buy it. My kids love reading along with me and they're also learning the alphabet. I will always recommend this book to parents who want an easy way to teach their kids the ABC's.

Hard copy

My kids loved this book so I got it for Christmas for my granddaughter and I’m so happy it’s hard copy so others can’t tear the pages she’s four and she can read this by herself

Pre-schoolers must g

2nd time purchasing! We love this book, so much my son has purchased several audible copies in multiple languages without my approval. He also takes all his letters to the top of the swingset roof. Great book for preschoolers and kindergarteners!

Parents - quit complaining! The kids love it!

Not the most exciting book for adults, BUT 3year old LOVES to point out the upper and lower case letters of the alphabet. It's a learning tool cleverly disguised as a story.

Classic favorite

This book has always been amazing! It is fun to read and fun to listen to. It is a ckassic and a favorite. My grandbaby (2yr old). Loves the repetitive nature of this delightful book. As far as the seller goes, great condition of the book and came in a timely manner.

Board book is perfect for small spaces!

I live in a tiny apartment overseas and still wanted my daughter to have the books I grew up with! This board book is perfect for her little hands and our small space! TIMELESS!!!!

Wonderful rhythmic story!

I highly recommend also buying the audio version. Love this book. It is so infectious to read. Especially to small children! They really like the musicality of the story!! Great to make interactive storyboards with it!

CUTE! Good quality

This book is adorable! I have 4month old and hate buying baby books for 15$ that have only 4 words through the whole thing. This book is catchy and fun and has nice bring colors. I enjoy reading it to my little girl!

I'm starting to get tired of this book😆-Kiddo's favorite

I'm starting to get tired 😩 of this book😆😆😆 I have to read/sing it multiple times in a row because my son loves it so. This is the only book he will drop his tablet for. It's a catchy tune(find the video online) and the book is well made and colored beautifully. I really love the book myself, just need a break from time to time lol.

The story we grew up with.

Happy this story now comes as a board book so my son can enjoy it. It is one of our favorites in the library.

Nostalgia

I was read this book as a child, then I proceeded to read it to my younger two siblings, and now I can read it to my kids. I never ever get sick of this book. I could (and have) read it a dozen times in a row and still like it. And I can't say that about many books.

Good quality

Brightly colored and sturdy. Gave it at a baby shower and many moms called out to the mom to be that it is a great book to read to her baby and as her baby gets older.

Boom

My boys loved the repeativeness of this book and the fun twist on the ABCs. I hope the little one I got this for will love it too.

A classic book in excellent quality for young children.

The 1 year-old loves looking through this book or having someone read it to her. The strong quality of the book means she can use it over and over again without concern that it will rip.

Great way to teach the alphabet!

What a fun and energetic story! Children can pick out alphabet letters and learn while enjoying the story.

Just as expected. Very fast shipping!

I gave this to my Niece for her new baby girl. We all loved it when my children were little. I love the hard books. We had a paper one. Perfect condition and very fast shipping. Thank you!

Just like the original just smaller

Just like the hardcover but smaller and sturdier for little hands. The only book my baby loves listening to along with the song.

Well-made board book with complete story

This board book classic contains the entire story, unlike some other board book versions. Young children love this story, and the book is sturdy enough to keep up with them.

Top 10 fave!

All 4 of my kids have loved this book. It's one of our top 10 favorites. Easy and fun to read!

Love!

Study board book in vibrant colors! Suggest to parents to view Chika, Chika, Boom, Boom song (2002) on YouTube to add excitement to reading or singing book to child - so much fun!

Children's Classic

My daughter loves this book. Combined with the song on YouTube and she walks around singing it and retelling herself the story in the book.

The coconut tree...

My granddaughter loves to sing this song, so I bought her the book and now she enjoys reading it as a story too without singing it. I'm very happy with my purchase. The book is vey sturdy and durable. Its really fun to read and sing it. This is just a cool book for any little kid to own PERIOD!

Great learning book!

Perfect little learning book! I bought the hard cover because my little one loves chew on stuff but she loves learning her ABC! Perfect for teaching any little kid!

Must Have

This book is amazing and one of my kids absolute favs. I truly believe that this book is one reason my toddler learned the alphabet so fast and so well.

Good for young babies/toddlers

My toddler destroyed the paper one so we got the hardcover book instead and she continues to love this book lol. A little too much haha.

I have this memorized now

Remembered this as a kid, got it for my kid. Now I read it so much I have it memorized! Fun way to learn the alphabet!

Great book!

I read this in kindergarten and wanted to get it for my 2 and 3 year old girls. It’s very catchy and fun. The girls love it and even read it with me! Great book highly recommend.

My kids love this book

I don’t care that much for the book, but my children love it and read it over and over again.

Happy

I had this book when I was young and always liked it. So I had to get it for my baby. I am happy with my purchase! Just a fun alphabet learning baby book

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom

My great niece, 20 mos. old, loved the book and repeated Chicka Chicak Boom Boom without prompting at the appropriate time. It's her new favorite book.

Really fun book to learn the alphabet!

Love this story. Fun to read (you will do that over and over) for all ages. Hilarious and littles will quickly learn their alphabet.

Great buy, not flimsily made.

I read this as a little one and I was happy to buy it to read to my little one... very soon :) This is a fun book and the quality was good. Just like in stores. Sometimes the books online are just cheaper quality. That wasn’t the case here. Recommended!

Easy to read over and over.

A favorite since I had small children. A copy is given at ever shower I attend. Much beloved!

A favorite

This was one of my daughter's favorite books when she was little. I purchased this as a gift. The quality of the cardboard book is excellent, solid and very thick. I will buy again.

Rhythm and rhyme make for a charming book

Very cute alphabet board book. If you read it with rhythm, it is fun and catchy! Both of my kids enjoyed it 20 years ago. Purchased again for my " grandma" library.

Addictive

This book is addictive if you have ever heard the song. I purchased the book because the song is a fav in my home. If you have any toddlers (or know of any) The book will serve as an excellent gift, but make sure you crank up the song on YouTube so they can get the full experience.

One of my toddler’s favorites

My two year old loved this book so much, I started getting it for gifts for other babies and toddlers. It’s got a rhythm that makes it fun to read aloud, and the alphabet story is silly and fun. I catch my daughter reciting lines from this all the time while she’s playing alone.

A+

I used to read this to my children and now we read it to their children. Great FUN book!

One of our alltime favorites

I love giving this book as a gift as a reminder of how much my kids loved me reading it to them in a rhythmic cadence with plenty of animation on the Boom Boom!s A cherished part of our children's library.

Great quality/Fast delivery

I purchased this book as an Angel Tree gift. Board Books were requested and I was pleased to be able to find board books my own children enjoyed. They arrived super fast.

Awesome book to have

Perfect for all ages because it's a really fun book, and song to sing. Really cool for little ones learning their ABC's

Perfect gift

I have given this book to almost everyone who had a baby. For many it has become their favorite book. The ounds it makes when you read the story delights infants. A classic!

My kid thinks it’s funny

Bought for my almost 2 year old for Christmas and it’s a hit! The book is a little long for a 2 year old so sometimes her attention span doesn’t get us all the way through, but she thinks it’s funny and still enjoys the first few pages.

Classic board book

Best kids’ book ever! I used to teach and it’s a classic. I love to see this abbreviated version in a board book for babies and toddlers. I bought this for my sister who’s pregnant

The children loved the book.

These books were given out to Kindergarten children at Hawkins Elementary School so they would have a book of their own to practice their reading. We happened to have ordered more than the number of parents that came with their child to claim the free book.

Very cutesy & perfect for learning fun.

Book makes learning fun as it should be. Good graphics

All my grandkids love this book, ages 1-7

One of my grandkids favorite books

Favorite of ours!

This was a favorite book of mine as a child and I am so happy I can now read it to my daughter. I like the board books because they are easy to clean and keep clean and fun for her to turn the pages on.

Great book that kids will love!

I don't think any kid not like this book. Rhyming in the tempo and everything about this book just as fun. My youngest son loves it expecially for the boom boom part where he says "boom boom" followed by uh oh! We have so much fun reading this book together.

My 2 year old loves this book

My 2 year old loves this book, she enjoys saying chicka chicka boom boom along with me while I read

Cute

Was recommended by my sons RSP teacher that this was a good book to help him out we haven’t read it yet but he seams very excited

One of our favorites

My son has enjoyed this book so much - literally from his first few months of life. Reciting it calms him down. We ordered this book because his first version was falling apart from being so well chewed on...

My child likes the book

My 1.5yo child likes the book

The kids love it

Gift from Grammy for kids, and now the chicka chicka boom boom resounds through every room. Even in my sleep. Thanks ma.

Great for babies & toddlers

It’s the perfect size & made very well for my 16 month grandson. He loves listening to his “Boom, Boom” book as he calls it.

Get the book then play YouTube video. You're Welcome!

I just happened upon this book and the music video on YouTube. So much fun for the kiddo.

Good condition

I grew up with this book. I look forward to introducing my kiddo to it.

It’s a great book and a childhood favorite

Quality was great and made an excellent gift for our friend’s baby!

Chicka Chicka....ya ya ya!!!

Our 2 year old daughter got the new Blues Clues tape for the ABC and they read Chicka Chicka Boom Boom on it. She just loved it so we bought both the Chicka Chicak Boom Boom and the 123 numbers books. She loves these books! They sell a set with magnetic numbers and I regret not buying that one, but we have other letters to use for additional book interaction. Plus Blues Clues doesn't do the entire story, so it was fun to be able to read the rest of the book after the letters fall out of the tree. I highly recommend this book for any child learning their ABC....it's fun for learning!

Childhood classic

It’s a fun read for sure and will be fun to learn how to read this book for my grandkids.

Favorite childrens book. Fun to read. Catchy.

I buy this for all the children I know. It was my kids favorite 30 years ago and is requested on repeat by all.

Great children's book!

My grand baby in NC loves for me to read her a story over Facetime in Virginia and she follows along with her copy from her house! This worked great!

Love this book- easy to turn pages

Must have book in children's library. Sturdy and easy to turn the pages. It is heavy for little hands so I don't recommend letting little kids under 2 walk around with it because it hurts when dropped on feet obviously. Highly recommend

2 Month Old Loves It

I got this book to read to my 2 month old son. He loved it so much that we read the whole book three times the day it came. He enjoyed looking at the pictures and was very excited and happy while I read this to him. I recommend this!

Cute, fun, CHICKA CHICKA BOOM BOOM! just get this book

This book has become one of my son's favorites. He smiles, and coos when it is read to him. It's a fun little board book, great way to incorporate the ABCs as well.

Great for kids

Got this along with Giraffes Don’t Dance for my elementary class and they love this book. One of my favorite books from childhood.

Best book ever for toddlers

My kids had it...and now my grandkids have it. Even when they're "too old" the boys still pull this book out to be read to them. Wonderful rhyme and rhythm while teaching the alphabet.

I love this ABC book

I got the sturdy board book and I'm giving to a grandchild, I had this book for my own kids when it came out in the 90s and it's still a nice rhyming read aloud.

Must have picture book!

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom is one of my all time favorite picture books! I grew up reading this and bought the board book for my 6 month old. He loves all the bright colors and I have so much fun reading it to him.

Classic book - with a song!

Have loved this book since my kids were kids and now for their kids.

Fun book for littles

My son is in Kindergarden and he LOVES this book. I was super excited to find a cardbpard book version under $10 because he has 2 little brothers who are in the faze of chewing and tearing up any and every thing. My son has memorized it and reads it to gis brothers ALL the time.

Interesting book!

I don’t see specialty about this book but my baby loves reading it. I think the colors attract her attention and every time I read it to her she would move her body. It’s like a rap.

Love it

3 year old Grandson loved it. Went around for days or longer randomly saying “chicka chicka boom boom”. Too cute.

Price of a card and lasts a lot longer

Buy this instead of a card for your next baby shower or birthday.

Favorite children’s book

One of my children’s favorite books. Bought this one for a friend who’s having a baby and creating a children’s library of books.

Must have. Great for infants to kids

My baby absolutely LOVES this book. He would stop crying as soon as I started singing this book from when we first discovered this book at 4 months old. My toddler niece loves it too. She likes to sing along. Make sure to get the board book for babies so they don’t rip (I didn’t even realize the importance as a new mom).

Great book

This was my 32 year old son's favorite book when he was little, so I got a copy for his son, who is about to turn one and he loves it!

Awesome and Classic

Sturdy, colorful, and just as great a book as I remember it being when I was a kid. Have bought it twice since my 2 year old son really loves it and wears it out, can't believe it lasts as long as it does!

Fun and Creative!

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, will there be enough room? We love this book! It rhymes, is fun, and has good graphics...all while learning the ABCs =)

A childhood favorite just as good as I remember

Board books are far superior to flimsy paper children's books. Lower risk of papercuts and this will endure the abuse put on it by young readers rough with page turning.

The perfect book!

I got this book as a birthday gift for my youngest sister who just turned two and she loved it! It was super easy for her to hold and to turn the pages by herself and was overall a great birthday gift.

I love this book

I am familiar with this book from teaching however the book came cut.

Great product, great overall experience. Great book.

Product was exactly as advertised! Highly recommend.

It’s a classic!

My favorite kids book by far so I have to buy it for all those baby showers I go to!

Excellent books for young readers

Purchased English & Spanish versions for bilingual babies! Colors & rhythm of words are captivating.

Favorite

This was my sons favorite book growing up. I bought this to give to him as a gift for his first child. Not sure why he attached to it so? It really struck a cord with him.

Loved it!

Loved the size, the thickness of sheets, the colors! For sure it’s durable and will resist a strong toddler reading it every day! Highly recommend it as a gift as well!

The sweetest little book to read your baby/toddler. Makes a great gift to!

A story that teaches alphabet in a fun way

I use this book along with magnetic alphabet letter set on the white board. It teaches alphabet sequencing, colors and expands vocabulary.

Love this book

I loved this book as a kid. Now that I’m starting to teach my 2 year old the alphabet, I knew this would be the perfect book. Now three weeks later he’s already reading along certain parts of the book with me. It’s also the perfect little size for him to hold it himself.

Great story for a range of ages!

Love this book! Both my 5 year old and 2 year old enjoy reading it! It teaches letters with a nice rhythm. It is a creative and unique story. It would be nice of it was a little larger, but it is good quality for the price.

Grandson (age 2) loves this book

My grandson loves this book and sits quietly listening to the story about the letters as we read and point. It's a silly repetitious book, but great for toddler who takes an interest in the ABC's.

Product Review

Perfect! Honest! Kind! Fast Shipping! Great Packing! Highly Recommend!

Wonderful Silly Fun

We checked this book out at the library and after day after day for a month of requests we decided to buy this book. I have never had my child request the same book for so long. The colorful pages are great and I noticed my oldest child, my husband and I all read it differently. The intonation on words will change the sound so that my two year old gets a variety when she hears it. She has it almost memorized. We bought Boom Chicka 123 as well (which I have also reviewed).

Fun

I cant wait to read this with my grandkids

Preschool Favorite

Both of my kids love this book and we have bought it many times for gifts. It’s a great introduction to letters with a lovely rhyming cadence and fun story.
